The Winnie-the-Pooh characters have been published to give children true morals to learn and live by. In this story, Tigger tries to find his family and Owl tells him that to find one's family, one must look for their family tree. Tigger went into the woods but was unaware of what to look for and decided to write a letter to all the Tiggers. When Tigger was getting no response, Winnie and his friends decide to write a letter to him from his family to cheer him up. When Winnie and his friends tried to dress up like Tigger to show he had some family, Tigger realized that his family are his friends. This lesson can teach children that your friends who love and care about you are as much your family as those blood related.
This Winnie The Pooh storybook tells about Tigger feeling like he doesn't have a family. Owl tells him he first must look at his family tree, of which Tigger doesn't have one of those either. Tigger gets more sad the more he looks. Roo wants to make a difference for him and he and the rest of the gang dress like Tiggers and tell him he's their family.
this story is based off the Tigger Movie. The storybook text itself is kind of choppy but not to much that it doesn't make since as you read it. Not one of the better "a Winnie the Pooh First Reader' book but still not bad either.
I like when Tigger looks at a stripey tree, layered by snow, in search of his family tree. All he really needs to do is look to his friends to see who his family is.
