The only part of me I’ll ever willingly give them is the hour it takes to make them scream…several times.

🤔🧐🤯MY THOUGHTS:🤯🧐🤔
This is the end of Lucian & Lia’s story but there are more books in the series that are about our supporting characters. I will be reading them but I’m going to step away from this series to read some other books for a break and before my loans for the other books end.
As for the first three books in this series, I am so glad I read them. Wow! This one hell of a life journey for Lucien and Lia. Their past, their pain and their present is a remarkable story. Every bit worth reading. I wouldn’t mind a follow up to their story simply because I love books that have a future forward epilogue. Hopefully we’ll get see glimpses into their lives in the remaining 6 books through the supporting characters.
All in all, I couldn’t be more pleased with how their story concluded.

Does anybody else have last book syndrome?! I don't know why but I'm so hesistant to read the final book in a series, because after all the build up I end up getting disappointed, and that's what happened with this book.
Revisiting this series after so many months, I've realised how ridiculous Lia and Lucian's relationship sounds. I mean instant attraction, dating for a few months then BAM LETS THROW IN A KID A GET MARRIED! I mean, really?
And then we have the subplot of Lucian's mentally ill ex-girlfriend, who is apparently a big complication to the story, even though she's only present in two or three scenes of THIS BOOK ONLY.
This was a fluff love story disguised as an intense and dark story, I mean if you're into them, go ahead and read, I did enjoy the first two books. It's a shame the last book was very... average.
I'm giving the trilogy as a whole a 3.5. Some parts were a 4 star and some were a 3. Overall, I enjoyed this series. Book one took a bit for me to get into, but the second half was great, leaving me wanting book 2. Book two was the highlight for me, a solid 4 star all the way through. Book three was a little slow in parts, seeming to drag a bit but well worth the read to get to the exciting conclusion.
OH MY GODDDDD. THIS SERIES WAS MORE THAN WHAT I EXPECTED. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!! Honestly it's the best birthday because Sydney released the last book of this series and I've been WAITING FOREVER to read this.. Now I expected this book to be good but I didn't expect the MC's to have so much depth and hardship... I just expected this story to be about some playboy millionaire hot shot who wanted to get with an escort and I expected the escort to be some easy slut that parties too much. Let's just what I got was TOTALLY DIFFERENT than what I expected... I fell in love with Lucian and Lia with their stories... I won't lie and say that there were moments that I didn't want to rip my hair out... Cassie gave me anxiety... Like legit, every time her name was brought up I found myself with chills and I just didn't feel good. I always just felt like there was more to the story than they let on and I just couldn't let it go... Did anyone else feel really bad for Aiden in this series? I really loved Aiden and it hurt me so much to see him constantly put the world on his shoulders, as Lucian would say. What I loved about this series A LOT was that there were no more loose ends. Lia got her justice, and Lucian got his redemption and his second chance at a happy ending. They both deserved that, and I'm so happy about it. "5 UN-FUCKING-BELIEVABLE, HEART BREAKING, TEARS STREAMING STARS" I surprisingly didn't cry that much reading that series... Yay for me!["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
Although there is so much love and adoration within book 3, it is not without its ups, downs, twists, and turns!
On the Lucian front: he struggled with overcoming his addiction and the truth about what happened with Cassie comes out 😳😳😳. It was heartbreaking to see Aidan and Lucian be on opposite sides of the cassie situation. However, on the plus side they have an incredibly strong friendship that was able to endure their polarized viewpoints.
On the Lia front: he We struggled to build a relationship with her father. Then along comes a surprise that hits both Lia and Lucian hard for different reasons.
There were secondary characters that added to the story and some things that were beyond farfetched.
It has a nice HEA for Lucian and Lia and was a little sad for one of the secondary characters in particular. I’m rooting for him though. Maybe in a different book.
Overall, i really loved the series. This couple suffered tremendous loss at the hands of others, but together they were strong and found their HEA.
Omg! this series had me all over the place. I loved it! It kind of reminded me of fifty shades but the characters and storyline were better.
I loved Lucian!
He was so dark and broken. He hides it well behind his successful business and keeping himself closed off, not getting close to anyone, and only surrounding himself with work and 4 other people. Oh and
Lia. Ahhh Lia. I had a love hate relationship with her. Book 1 I loved the shit out of her. Book 2 she gave me a headache, by the time book 3 came I lost patience. Had I not read them back to back I may have still loved her, but I didn't take a break and I was ready to kill her.
Ok, so Lucian is a billionaire hottie who needs a date to some social event in order to keep this stupid skank Monique off his junk. His BFF/Bro Aiden suggest an escort service he often uses. Lia is a 21/22 year old senior college student with a horrid past. Seriously, I cried with her story. She busted her ass to get into a prestigious private university and works at Date Night to pay it.
After their first date Lucian is hooked. He demands she quit her job so he can sleep her.
“Ummm…that’s…thanks. I can’t quit my job; I need the money for school.” I reach over to pat his knee, adding, “You’re so hot, and I’m sure you can find another woman to…fuck.” There, that sounds good, right? I’m proud of my answer. I turned him down but also gave him a compliment. Way to think on your feet, Lia!”
Lia in book 1 was hilarious!! She was also independent and crazy strong, considering the bullshit she went through. Granted she was still these things in 2&3 but she was also insecure, whinny, cry baby, and sooooooo annoying!!!
to her defense, she does go through some crazy shit, but still even that I was frustrated.
Ok, so back to the story. Lucian eventually gets his way and him and Lia become a couple.
“I’m in no way worthy of you, but I lay my heart at your feet because you own me, baby.”
After that it was roller coaster city with my emotions.
There really are too many things that happen that I can't list. It will just spoil it and it's better to go with the ride. Lucian's fucked up past comes to haunt him but so does Lia's. There is no cheating, so you don't have to worry there, but Luc past. Omg horrific, freaken cried like a baby!
Every book has a gut punch but we do get an HEA. “She is everything I’ll never be, but together we are one against the world and today she’ll take my name forever. The beast in me roars in pleasure—the man in me wants to fall to his knees and thank her once again for loving someone who didn’t deserve a second chance"
I really can't wait for Aiden's book to come out and I'm already going to be all over Rose's! She was Hilarious omg, I freaken loved Rose! ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
In the final book of the trilogy, we meet back up with Lucian as he tries to win the effects of Lia as they try and work through the demons of his past.
Comparing this book to the other two books, this one is a bit more laxed in the drama department. And I for one am happy about that. The first two books were so jammed pack with crazy events one after another, it’s a nice change of pace. We get to see the sweeter side of Lucian as he finally lets Lia in and is certainly going to vying for your hearts for your ‘book boyfriend’.
Lia really comes into her own in this story as she has to not only accept Lucian and his past but deal with the fact that her father wants back in her life. Plus her and Lucian find out whether or not they are going to have a baby. (Spoiler alert, but not really) she is pregnant. You probably were able to figure that out based on history of these kinds of books, but it is still a nice experience to watch and Lucian adjust to being parents.
Landon is able to set up the next two spin-off books for this series, one for Rose and one for Aiden. It was prominent enough so that when you read those you can pick up right where the book left off, but not so much that it stole focus from Lucia and Lia.
The ending was predictable, but not at the same time. You get the sense that something bad is going to happen at the hands of Cassie. I guess you can say ‘spoiler alert’ to that. But you probably already had guessed based on the emphasis that the book had on Cassie possibly having sleepovers out of the clinic. But that is probably the only part you will get. There is a whole other element to the ending that you will probably not guess. And it’s amazing.
The story has that nice bow-tie ending with no major cliffhangers or bad hangups to make you angry at the author. You can rest assure that Lia and Lucian get their happy ever after that they both desperately needed.
I liked the characters Lia and Lucian but strangely I didn't like this author. Why? Simple, cause while reading I formally could sense the authors personally opinion about topics in this book.Like the abuse of cocaine or smoking it annoyed me very very much. Then theres mental illness of almost all characters in this series WTF? The author handles her damaged and abused characters very very strange. It feels like she's schooling her grown up characters like a mother her teen kids.

First I have to say this was a very good book. I really enjoyed the whole story from the first book but it had a great ending in this book.
Again, this starts exactly where the second book ended. They had a fight that was quickly resolved by just being honest and having a conversation. I loved that again they grow closer from this and from other great things and not so great things that happen to them. I have to say her friend Rose kinda got on nerve occasionally. His friend Aiden I felt had a lot of issues and would love to see how they are resolved.
Anyway, some major revelations happen and you finally get the whole crazy story of Lucian past and it is crazy. Lia gets some resolutions about her past and makes peace with many things. Lucian grows even more in this book as he too attempts to finally really move forward so he can be with Lia but of course it won't happen easily so that is what he must face and really deal with in the end. It is a HEA but it does have some holes for future books about other characters. I would be interested in the other characters just because of this book.
I was happy to finish up this trilogy that I really enjoyed. I did feel like this was the weakest of the three, but it was still enjoyable.it was weak mostly because there was no conflict between the two leads. Most of the story was driven by lingering events from Lucian's past. And boy were those events doozies. A lot of the time past events which lead to the hero being a closed off asshole seem to be rather minor when you find out about them but that was definitely not the case here.
I have loved, loved, loved this series and this book was no different. Their love was just as solid, if not more so because everything was on the table in this book. The only thing I didn't like what that the mystery that had everyone saying, 'There's a piece to the puzzle I'm missing here.', was no freaking mystery. Hello, bitch is crazy!!!!!! There's your puzzle piece, but I digress. Overall there's a HEA, so I loved it from beginning to end. Looking forward to the story of Rose next.
The ending was pretty good, but I really thought the story was really very long and probably could've been cut down a little. But all in all I did like it.
I’m not going to do a recap or description. If you’re reading this, then you already know what’s going on. The conclusion is very predictable. There are a few more times where Lia does not respond to a situation the way I would. I’m actually a little tired of how she let’s things slide. Not that Julian ever does that much to earn her wrath. Julian is actually very tame. I’d like to have him a little dirtier.
Where as Rose was having a lot of fun in the last book, we end with her getting more depressing and now I’m concerned that the author screwed up Rose’s story. PS I just started it an the first sentence has me shaking my head.
This one was actually relatively boring and a little slow. It was filled with too much repetition and not much substance. Overall, I don’t regret listening to this series, but the first book in the series was the only one that was really entertaining.
This book was the perfect ending to the trilogy. I got the first book as a free deal on kindle and then hoped my library had the other two. First time I read this author and liked her style. Beginning and end were page turners and I found myself thinking of them as one whole book instead of a trilogy and the next picked up where the last one ended. Great drama , not too anxious with twist and turns to delight at the end of the read. I look forward to reading more of her books.
You know what, I really did enjoy this series. But the ending. REALLY????
I can’t even think straight. I’m so annoyed.
Final rating: 2.5 stars.
SPOILERS AHEAD
The ending was so stupid! The whole Cassie almost killing Lia thing was so rushed and I can’t even remember how or why Aiden was there. And why did Luc take so long to get there??? Hell, apparently Monique was almost in Mexico and he didn’t even get to them in time! I didn’t understand ANYTHING in that chapter.
The wedding and the delivery??? Also rushed as hell!!!
I can’t believe it ended on Luc’s positive/negative thoughts and you don’t even see how they are in the future with Lara Anne. I’m really disappointed.
If this is a way to try to get me to read the other books in the series, whelp, I’m not gonna.

What can I say ? I know I rated the first two books 3 stars. But frankly, reading this last book in the series, I felt cheated.
Not that I was expecting a great story, books 1 and 2 were nice quick reads, but nothing original by far. But book 3 felt like 50% of rehashing the first two books, 20% of Lucian inner musing (always the same), 20% of Lucian and Lia together (always the same) and 10% of new storyline which was both so predictable and so short : the whole so-called angst blew up and fizzled out in less than 15 pages !!!
Frankly one book would have been enough instead of diluting so few plot ideas in so many pages.
4.5 stars! I got so emotionally involved in these books. Never in a million years was I expecting more than just a quick easy read but this trilogy was so much more than that.
I was sadly disappointed with this book. The first two books in the series were so good. This one kind of fizzled out. The strong damaged Alfa turned into a smarmy nerd. Both lead characters turned into goo goo eyed teens. The story was well written but the change in the lead characters was too much. Sad reader....
Just beautiful! This was a wonderful way to end Lucian and Lia's story with a new life. Now I would like to find out about Rose and Max and what happens between the both of them.
