Escort #3

Sins & Mistrust

Rate this book
Marc Edwards is a male escort in Sin City. He’s used to being into whatever his clients are into, and doing everything they fantasize about. He’s also used to keeping parts of himself from the people closest to him, and denying himself what he truly wants.

He gains a client who’s unlike any other client he’s had. Nathalia LaBelle actually tries to get to know non-escort Marc. She wants to find out what it is he fantasizes about, and isn’t bothered by the nature of his job.

Has Marc found someone to open up to? Will Nathalia be able to handle what he desires? What he craves? Lines begin to blur, and Marc struggles knowing a relationship with a client is something that can’t happen.

But what happens when Lincoln Cash, a man who has his own special relationship with Nathalia, comes into the picture with his own desires, rules, and sinful requests? Will they be able to get on the same page, or will mistrust run rampant and ruin everybody’s chances at getting what they want?

Author's Note
While this is book three in The Escort Series, it can be read as a standalone. There is no need to read Living in Sin and Unforgivable Sin first, as this one starts in the time that Living in Sin did, and then follows through the series without giving much away about the first two. You may get some information regarding the other stories, but not much. Marc was scarce in those books, and we now get to see what he was up to.

***Let me preface my review by saying that most of my close reader friends know I LOVE escort books. Rarely do I rate an escort book poorly simply because I find the whole premise insanely hot...almost like a secret fantasy (don't tell). But this one rose far above the rest.

When I read the previous books within the Escort series, I knew I'd love this book. Marc, fellow escort with Jace and Troy in books 1 & 2, was always this secretive enigma. The books run along the same timeline so I remember events where I was dying to figure out what Marc's big secret was. What was his deal? Where was he all the time when the guys couldn't get ahold of him? Well, I now know and I DEVOURED him the book!

 photo BE423EFD-18E9-4A73-B123-9865F3FFC6FE_zpsxee3c1pr.jpg

Sins & Mistrust features Marc and his client Nathalia. She's a wealthy, successful hotelier and Marc quickly finds his lines blurring from professional to personal. He's finding he looks as forward to seeing her as she does him. She wants to know the real Marc. What's he really like in bed when he's not working. What I found him to be was PERFECTION! OMG. Did I mention my secret escort fantasies?

 photo 960BA4E0-8C9A-455E-99C7-3E199A6B432A_zpshnuymtvv.gif

In exchange for Marc opening up and showing his true sexual nature with Thalia, he asks what her biggest fantasy is. He's pretty much done it all. He wants to fulfill her every desire. Well, that desire is a threesome...a threesome with two men...where the two men are together too. Enter Lincoln. Lincoln and Thalia have been very close for years. Never having sex...Linc has a hang-up about having sex with just a woman present. (There's a reason and I won't spoil it.) They've never found a third person they're BOTH attracted to...until Marc. When Lincoln and Marc meet...let me just say it's palpable. The chemistry is sizzling. They don't even particularly like each other but they sure do want each other.

What made this book for me was the incorporation of the MM into it. Linc and Marc are both very virile Alpha men. Neither one willing to be the bottom...neither one wanting to be the first to beg. Holy mother of build ups! These guys set the pages on fire in sexual tension alone. I knew this author can write a sexy as hell escort book...but damn, her MM is off the charts. Those guys...it was so feral, so stinking intense! It was an attack!

 photo 330222D8-1341-4A08-8266-139916FD2173_zpsyezannqx.gif

So, is this a love triangle? I know that's a huge deal breaker for a lot of readers. I don't really think so. They all have strong feelings for each other, all have huge chemistry. They just need to figure out how to put it all together. Marc is an escort, after all, and he isn't out of the closet with being bi. Most women don't want to hire an escort that's also gay. How can he have it all? The woman he's falling fast in love with? The man that he can barely carry on a civil conversation with yet can't keep his hands off him? The job he's counted on for years to support himself?

Nathalia I LOVED. She's no prude, is tough, and loves two men...two very perfect specimen of men. (This quote by her I couldn't agree more)

 photo 68F93E43-6210-4A25-B32D-8BD7D68022E6_zpsvz1pqm9e.jpg

But, seriously, I'm not jealous of her or anything. REALLY! Two extremely hot, built, masculine, virile, experienced-in-all-things-sex guys? Pfft!

 photo F7C41A71-CB1E-4D26-8747-273A84949B2D_zpsvicfovzy.gif

Lincoln, owner of multiple sex clubs, dark hair, blue eyes, chiseled jaw...alpha personality. Need I say more?

 photo FB4C5DE0-4FF4-4135-9F60-6EB413662753_zpsdubwkrsm.gif

Marc...sex God escort extraordinaire. Where do I sign up?

 photo 186E83EC-5597-473B-9F2C-27D5509215FB_zpspvkdlzla.gif

There's nothing I'd change about this book. We get to revisit with past characters from book 1 & 2 but this can totally be read as a standalone. Be warned, it has a scorching dose of light BDSM, MF, MM, MFM, and MMF. I don't typically send out book recommendations to friends but with this, I HIGHLY recommend this book to every single friend who likes a sizzling hot read (but also likes MM.) Just beware...have something or someone readily available while reading this book.

Bravo, Ms Lucero, bravo! I have a NEW favorite escort book!

I was moving at snail's pace and the only thing I've ever felt while reading this book was a massive case of boredom and nuisance. So I thought it'd be best to cut my losses.

One of my biggest pet peeves is very present in this story:

186 x smile, smiled, smiles

43 x smirk, smirks, smirking

I say with a smirk.
I smirk at her…
he asks with a smirk.
he gives me a roguish smirk

73 x grin, grinning, grins (no worries I did deduct all the grinding cocks)

163 x laughter, laugh, laughs, laughed, laughing

Yeah, what's so funny? Instead of diverting from the plot and uninteresting characters all the smiles, smirks and laughter only succeeded to irritate me immensely.

I'm a huge fan of escort stories but Sins & Mistrust didn't push the right buttons for me. Or, maybe it did, but they were the wrong ones. I didn't enjoy the bad sex and I didn't like the bland characters; the dialogue came off as stilted and the writing in general did not appeal to me. I just couldn't connect with the characters. That is all. Movin' on...

3.5 Stars!

I liked parts of this one, and didn't care for others. Overall it was a decent read but was just missing something. Maybe it was the writing....maybe I just never felt the connection between the three MCs.

So we have Marc....the escort. Natalia.....who hires Marc. And Lincoln.....the sex club owner who's in love with Natalia, but has never had sex with her.

Natalia's ultimate fantasy is to have a threesome with two guys. Lincoln can't be with Natalia without another guy present. Marc is the guy that gets propositioned to be the third guy.

Lincoln's reasons for needing another guy present to be with Natalia were just

I felt Marc and Lincoln's connection a lot more than Marc and Natalia or even Lincoln and Natalia. Their sexual tension was quite explosive. But once they have the threesome things really fall apart.

Natalia and Lincoln want them to all be a couple but Marc isn't sure. He can't be out with his job as an escort and his friends don't know he's bi. It just takes him too long to figure things out. And Marc's big gesture at the end to show how he feels about Lincoln and Natalia?

Nothing says "I love you" like opening an adult sex resort in someone's honor...

Despite the last 35-40% being a conflict of sorts the drama was rather low in this book, which was a plus. And all of the sex scenes, whether MF, MF or MMF were hot.

There was just something missing.....

The book is well written and Isabel did an excellent job with Marc's story. We know Marc. We met him in "Living in Sin" and "Unforgivable Sin", but we didn't know a lot about him. Marc was always mystery. We were dying to know what his secrets were. But never in a million years I would have thought about this.

I can be here talking about this book forever. Believe me, I can. But you will never understand why I love it if you don't read it. Go. One Click this beauty (It's LIVE) and read it.

Before you buy it, keep in mind that you must be OPEN-MINDED to read it. The storyline is amazing, believable and controversial. This story is about feelings. Love. Accepting who you are and what makes you happy. This story is not about judging. So please, less judging. More Loving!

Finally we learn about Marc and OMG, I couldn't get enough. I will by far say this is my favorite of the trilogy and pray she writes more. Isabel Lucero found her sweet spot with this book. The read is so elegant, it flows so beautifully and SEXY AS HELL !!! She takes you on a journey through the first 2 books showing you what Marc has been doing that everyone speculated on. Never in a million years did I expect to find out what goes on in his life as an escort.

If you want to finally get those questions answered while living the hugest most erotic fantasy by all means PLEASE take the time to read this book. I promise you you will not regret it.

J&G: It’s official!! We’re GREEN WITH ENVY over a book character. Some girls get all the luck and if you’ve read Sins & Mistrust you’ll know that Nathalia LaBelle hit book character luck overload when she caught the attention of the uber sexy, brazen and super confident Linc and the uber, uber sexy, sensitive and beautiful Marc…not to mention these guys are DYNAMITE between the sheets.

In the words of Nelly…it’s getting hot in here and we don’t think we’ve cooled down since finishing this book yesterday. Why Isabel Lucero you saucy minx, what a sexy, kinky and lusty read this was. Call the fire brigade because this was a HEAT FACTOR 10! One of the hottest things we’ve read in a while that’s for sure!

“Marc,” I breathe, bringing our mouths closer together. “Kiss me.”

Note to author: Is there a video of the goings on in this book somewhere because we need visuals! You know…for **cough cough** research purposes! We need to understand exactly what limb was in where, on where and around where. Just thinking about it makes us all hot and bothered!

Although the sex was absolutely OFF THE CHARTS and knicker melting good it didn’t override the emotion of the story because we felt every conflicted feelings between Marc and Linc especially. There really wasn’t any question for us regarding the feelings between Nathalia and they guys, they were quite an open book, so for us it was the powerful passion and heart beating moments between these two gorgeous men that had our hearts and pulses racing!

‘There’s no way I’m letting go of this man.’

Nathalia wanted to know the real Marc as opposed to ‘Marc the Escort’ Marc was in the business of pleasing others, giving into their wants and here was a woman who wanted to know what Marc wanted and it was a refreshing change for him. Marc was without question used to give rather than take.

The passion, the heat and the lust between Marc and Linc was palpable to say the least! Linc chipped away at Marc’s carefully constructed walls bit by bit as he attempted to persuade Marc to let him in (no pun intended…oh alright then).

“You fuck me like you can’t get enough, and when you kiss me you steal the breath right out of me. We have this passion that even you can’t deny, but you don’t let me in.”

The friendship dynamic between Troy, Jace and Marc is apparent and it’s something we particularly love about this series. Their brotherhood and friendship seems to strengthen as the series progresses.

“We celebrate together, we mourn together, we cry together and we rise together. Never alone.”

The sweet between Nathalia and Marc was in contrast to the sheer animal heat between Linc and Marc and each balanced the other perfectly and when the three come together (hmmm what’s with those puns!) it’s explosive!

‘…and in that moment I realize I’m watching two people express their love for the other without words. It’s beautiful.’

Once we started we couldn’t put this book down. We were there with these characters every step of the way which is why we felt a little let down at the end. We had a lot of build-up but needed more ‘afters’. We needed to know how they prevailed plus there were questions we needed answered. Marc went through such a life altering change it would have been lovely to see him settled in the open.

At the end of the book the author has stated her intentions to write more of their story and that’s great, because we definitely want more. However, we would have preferred the ‘more‘ to have been included in this book as the ending felt rather abrupt. This was our only bug bear in what was an addictively HOT story! LOVED IT and highly recommend picking up Sins and Mistrust…preferably near a freezer!

I was really looking forward to a hot read between these three. But I didnt feel the chemistry between her and the boys. It was steamy between the guys, but she was like water to their fire. Made a dud for me, sadly.

Wow, Marc! I loved you!

This, was one H.O.T read. That's no doubt. And there were a lot of sex. And Oh.My.God.. those were hot.

description

Marc with Nathalia: H.O.T. Marc with Lincoln: DYNAMITE. EXPLOSIVE. Marc with them both? ...just combine! LOL. I admire how these three, Marc, Nathalia and Lincoln can work their relationship. Because, come on, sometimes two people in relationship have hard times. Now, three in one? But they still can manage it though. Jealousy, mistrust were no doubt happened but somehow they work it all out.

What I love the most was how Marc's parents and his brother were so cool about him and his situation. They're really cool accepting for what he is and so understanding. Also Marc has cool friends such as Jace, Troy and the gangs. They also accept for what he is and never judge. And I think that was so really cool.

This was really fun read. Finally know the mysterious Marc! Loved it.

Hot turn on – You will feel your body heat up
5 HOT & SIZZLING STARS

I want to start by saying, that I never read a book with M/M, this was my first. It freaking turn me on very much! This book is one that you will want to read with no interruptions; so settle into your reading cave and don’t plan on coming out until you are done with it. You might need to take a couple of breaks to fan yourself; the heat I felt was off the charts, I actually felt myself flushing and my heart rate increase. IT WAS ORGASMIC!!!

The connection and the bond between the characters pull the story in nicely:

Nathalia – A strong woman works with her father in the hotel business. Very open minded and not afraid to try new experiences.

Lincoln – Owns several clubs; including a sex club. Handsome, confident and goes after what he wants. Not a shy fellow.

Marc – An escort, not ashamed of what he does; comes from a loving and supportive family. But, there is a side to him his friends don’t know about.

Nathalia hires Marc to be her escort on a regular basis. Marc starts opening up to Nathalia as she tries to get to know his real side, not the escort persona. Their relationship progresses beyond client/escort.

Nathalia and Lincoln love each other. They have not been able to take their relationship to the next level because of a rule Lincoln has in place. When Lincoln sees Nathalia with Marc, things start to change. Lincoln wants to take it to the next level. The chemistry between Lincoln and Marc is explosive; but you can also feel the deep connection. With two hot Alpha males, the heat rolls off the Kindle. Isabel Lucero does a great job bringing out the connection and the feelings between all three.

Although the sex in this book is incredible; there is more. It’s about acceptance and honesty. It’s about not being afraid to be yourself. Throughout the story you will find where the characters opt for honesty rather than hiding in fear of the reaction. Marc is pleasantly surprised by his friends’ acceptance when he finally opens up to them. Just because it’s not the norm or others frown upon something, it doesn’t mean it’s wrong. The dynamics of this relationship is not for all, but it is enviable, hot and sexy! So grab this book and go hide in your reading cave, you will enjoy it!

5 HOT-AS-SIN STARS!
*Strictly for mature and open minded reader only*
Holy Molly! I've read it in one sitting! Amazingly written! Hot and sexy!
I must says Sins & Mistrust is so perfect as a title of this book. I love how Isabel flawlessly written such a very controversial story and yet it doesn't appeal so taboo or I guess it really depends on how the reader will take this kind of book but for me it's all about the story line. If you aren't a comfortable with sexual scenarios such as M/F, M/M, M/F/M, and M/M/F. This book is not for you.
I loved the story not because I am into that kind lifestyle but because I've got to see a glimpse of how people with a lifestyle like Marc, Thalia and Lincoln lives because even though this book is a work of fiction I know somewhere there are people who has the same desires as them.
I think what matters is who they are and not what they are.
I really love this last paragraph from the book:

"People may think the way we live is a sin, but I think as long as we're not hurting anybody, what does it matter? We love each other, and there's nothing wrong with that. If this is living in sin, I'll live happily, because the true unforgivable sin is KEEPING YOURSELF from being happy because of what other people may think. LIVE for you, love for you, and you'll have all the happiness in the world. "

I can't wait to read the next book from this series!

AMAZING!!

I have been a fan of this series since Living In Sin. Marc always intrigued me in the other books and I wanted to know what his deal was. We see that he is a little mysterious. Let me tell you..after reading his story..WOW!!! I can now say this was my favorite of the three :)

Once I started, I couldn't put it down. It was hot, sexy, kinky..and I loved every minute of it! As you're reading, you can't wait to see what happens. His relationship with Nathalia took an interesting turn and what happens when Lincoln is introduced? You have to read to find out! :)

Isabel did an amazing job with this book :) It was great seeing the rest of the crew from the previous books..Em is hilarious! Love her :)

Do yourself a favor and get this now! You will not be disappointed! I can't wait to see what Isabel has in store for us next :)

I LOVE this series!!! I fell in love with Isabel's writing with Living in Sin and each book just gets better and better!!! I have been excited for Marc's story since we first met him in book 1. He has always been quite mysterious and Isabel did a great job of building up the anticipation for this book. I would just love to scream from the hilltops about everything that happens in this book but it's much better if you read it for yourself so no spoilers here!!! What I can tell you is to expect steamy sex, lots of emotion, a great story and appearances from all our favorite characters from past books. I really enjoyed the way this book parallels the other books in the series so we got some insight into everything that was going on with Marc. I just love the way Isabel writes her leading men, the first word that comes to mind is class, these guys are just so sexy and classy and I love the way they treat their women! This was a great addition to the series and I can't wait to read more from Isabel!

Complimentary copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

The third book in the Escort series, Sins and Mistrust, is by far my favorite of the three books thus far. We finally get to hear Marc’s story, and the reasons why he is secretive around his best friends. Sins and Mistrust can be read as a standalone but I highly suggest reading the first two books before starting this one. The events of in this volume take place around the time frame of the first book, but you can better understand the relationships between the three friends better if you’ve read the others.

Marc is an escort in Sin City, along with his friends Troy and Jace, whom we met in the first two books. When his client for the night is Nathalia (Thalia), the very independent daughter of an hotel tycoon. She hires Marc, citing no time for an actual relationship; however when she starts asking questions of him and is eager to schedule him again, he realizes that she is unlike other clients. She is genuinely interested in him and he in turn sees something more with her.

When Thalia introduces Marc to club owner Lincoln (Linc) Cash, the relationship between Marc and Thalia is thrown a major loop. Linc is interested in a relationship with Thalia, both sexually and emotionally, however due to events of his past, he feels the need to have another present when having sex with a woman. Enter Marc into the equation. But is Marc interested in a relationship with both Thalia and Linc? Does he even swing that way? Is an emotional relationship between three people even possible?

I loved seeing Marc with his family, and knowing that despite his career choice, his family was loving and accepting of his lifestyle (both chosen and otherwise). It was refreshing to see his ability to be open and honest with them, while we see so many characters that don’t have that support network. It really made him that much more of a catch and I could easily understand how he had enough was capable of loving two people.

One of the major reasons this was a five star read for me is that Ms. Lucero takes the erotica to a whole new level with ménage scenes as well as M/M scenes. Needless to say, they are H.O.T. If M/M scenes bother you, you might want to avoid this one, however I will say that if you are the least bit adventurous, give this one a try. The relationship, and the way it evolves between Marc and Linc is touching, fueling a passion between the two that translates well to the written word.

This was a five star read for me and it made me love the characters all the more. It was well written, flowing effortlessly in a dual point of view from chapter to chapter. The characters are well developed and endearing, and the friendship between them is believable. I definitely recommend this series!

I have been so lucky to have been able to support Isabel and read the Escort Series from the very beginning. What a start to the series we had with Living In Sin. Boom. The series became more explosive with the second book, Unforgivable Sin. POW! Now, we have Sins & Mistrust. I. Am. Speechless.

This book is proof that we need to support our indie writers. The series is just getting better and better and the third in this series is just outstanding. The end of Unforgivable Sin left me wondering, speculating and guessing what could be behind Marc's disappearances and what was the reason for the three bottles of Gatorade and WHERE DID THE LIPSTICK COME FROM?!

It is no secret that Marc's story is not your straightforward coupled up relationship. The dynamic between Marc, Thalia and Lincoln is heartwarming to see. In the "book world" where it is predominantly M/F it is refreshing to see authors shake it up. I'm by no means well read in M/M, M/F/M, or M/M/F books but I have read more and more in recent months than I ever have and find that I enjoy them. This. This book? I LOVED.

CAN SOMEONE SAY HOT?

As anyone who has read Isabel's Escort books you know they're hot, this one - off the scale, off the chart and off the planet. Be warned. Hot.

Now, the story? Yes, there is a story! Like I said, we were left guessing at the end of Unforgivable Sin as to what was happening and the fact that Sins & Mistrust went back in time to the beginning of the series meant we were in for a humdinger of a story spanning the length of two books. Goody!

The links to the series to date were spot on; it didn't, in any way, feel like a repeat of what we've already read. I love the relationship the three characters have. I felt for Marc and completely understood his predicaments, doubts and fears. The way the chapters alternate the POVs was very clever and worked so brilliantly. I really felt a part of their story and therefore became very invested in their relationship. Even now writing this, almost 24 hours after finishing, my heart warms at their story and the fuzzies (and tingles!!) still remain.

To summarise: book - amazing; story - outstanding; sex scenes - HOT; Isabel - awesome! Done deal.

You will want to stay up all night to finish this book. I finished at 2am!!

Reviewed on Behalf of Give Me Books

Holy effin’ hotness!!! This book was absolutely amazing! It was hot, sexy, romantic, and I couldn’t put it down! Sins and Mistrusts is the third book in the Escort Series and it was Marc’s story. I have been waiting (im)patiently for Marc’s story and was so happy to finally read it!!

I loved how this book covered the entire span of the first two books and then some. Marc had been very secretive in the first two books and we finally find out why. He meets a client, Nathalia, and they hit it off. She wants to actually know Marc and what he likes and is then able to open up about her sexual fantasies as well. “Your fantasy is for me to have sex with you and some other guy?” “Yes, and I’d be with you both. Can you do that?” Being an escort, Marc has tried almost everything, but this was something new. But he was falling for Nathalia hard and fast and wanted to please her. Upon meeting the other man, Lincoln Cash, he was instantly interested.

The chemistry between the three of them is out of this world!! It is explosive and you will need a spare change of panties! “You can have his dick in your mouth while I eat your pussy until you come in my mouth. After that you can watch as I take Marc deep into my mouth.” While their relationship is tough and not of the norm, it works for them. This book popped my M/M cherry and I have been missing out! That is some HOT shit!! The very last paragraph was phenomenal!! It summed up the entire story perfectly! I can’t wait to read more about all of the escorts to see how life continues for them. (5 stars)

Holy hotness - get ready to be blown away. If you have read the previous two books in the Escort Series, you have already met Marc. He works as a male escort and he has popped up randomly throughout the series but you never get a clear picture of what's going on with him. Even the other escorts are left guessing what his story is. In Sins & Mistrust his secrets are about to get unleashed and it's worth the price to find out what he's hiding.

Marc loves his job and is very good at what he does. He has spent over ten years behaving the way people pay him to. His only connections and relationships are with clients and those are temporary. No one truly knows him - leaving his personal wants and desires left unfulfilled but he has his reasons for keeping his secrets.

Marc is a complex and secretive lead character who you're not sure if you want to lick head to toe or knock up side the head. When he finally finds exactly what he needs to complete his world its every erotic fantasy you could imagine. It's intense and beyond complicated. The reality of the situation takes a while to work itself out but it is a journey you want to read.

I LOVE this series. The books can be read as standalones but I would recommend reading all the books in order. They are filled with sexy, fun, interesting characters and Isabel Lucero writes panty melting scenes that you don't want to miss out on - definitely one click this book and the others in the series.

OMG, OMG, OMG, this was soooo good. I loved Marc's story so much and was swept away by his romantic struggles

Marc, the third and final escort we get to experience, surpassed my expectations as did his romantic partners. It's a long time since I've read a good M/M, M/F/M, M/M/F book and this blew me away with the emotion. I really felt for Marc but it was Thalia who stole the show for me in her attempt to bring Marc, Lincoln and herself together. She patiently waited until Marc understood his feelings for Linc and her before releasing their explosive chemistry onto us poor unsuspecting readers.

This is a seriously sexy, hot, fun and delicious trilogy and I was left with only one question. Why hadn't I read it sooner!!!

Dear Lord....

No really, that is all I can think of. Marc is so amazingly hot it is ridiculous. This series is the best form of fantasy smut ever! Isabel brings us into the world of male escorts and their interesting clientele in this series. It is hot, sexy, and interesting. I never knew I could read a book that was so focused on sex and be truly interested in the characters and invested in their outcomes.

Marc is interesting in that he is hiding, not only from his clients, but also, I think, from himself. He is working through issues that go far deeper than I expected and because of all of that you love him even more. I truly thought this book was great. Although I have loved this trilogy from the start.

My only gripe, I really really didn't like Nathalia. I wanted to be able to connect with her, and I just couldn't.

I give this awesome book 4 steamy lipsticks!!!!

44%

I loved the first two books but only made it 44% of the way through this book before writings this review. With how much I liked the first two I'm very disappointed about how slow and boring this books was. Oh well 2 out of 3 isn't too bad.

I waffled on the rating for this one. I wish Goodreads gave 1/2 stars as I rate this 3.5, but will round up to 4. This book can easily be a standalone. If you do read this one first, the author is correct that you might spoil the outcome of the other two.

Here's what I liked:
I loved that it ran along the same timeline as the first two books. In fact, I reread the first book to see how much it did and I was absolutely impressed and shocked. I'm not sure how planned out she had this series when she started, but there's a lot that foreshadows Marc's storyline. I'm left with the impression she had to have almost fully plotted out Marc's story as she wrote Jayce and Adrienne's.

Although it does also cross over into Troy/Emilie's story, it doesn't seem to get as specific with the minute details. Also, I will confess I have not read the second story about Troy as I didn't really take to him or feel motivated to read his story since I had so many other books waiting for me on my Kindle. I've done a 180 on my opinion for Troy. He's such a great friend, loyal and thoughtful, and very amusing. Emilie continues to be a little tiny firecracker (can't believe I just used that phrase, but it fits her perfectly).

The scenes between Lincoln and Marc are intense and full of chemistry. You feel their struggle with each other. They're both alpha, but in the long run Marc is the top dog. Fortunately, Marc is not the selfish type who has to always be in charge and that gives Lincoln the control he needs. I think this was intensified for me as I didn't get that feeling about Nathalia (see below). There's an undercurrent and connection between these guys no matter how much they deny it. I haven't read a lot of M/M stories - not because I'm opposed to them, but there are so many books I have yet to read on my kindle. So I'm not an expert, but this is a great pair. I also think that because of how much Marc fought his feelings and attraction to Linc. It wasn't to same level or depth he fought against his relationship with Nathalia. I'm not absolutely sure if that's because it was easier to be out in the open with a woman or if there was more intensity with Linc.

The build up of the scenes was very good. Maybe at the beginning I wanted it to get to the good stuff faster, but it made the "sexy time" scenes all the better when you got there. Again, I was fascinated with the timeline running parallel to the previous book and it got me excited to revisit Jayce's story (and I ended up liking it more!).

Ok, disclaimer on this next section. None of the below would keep me from reading the book. I also struggled about the rating (more a 3.5) as I didn't want to lower the rating because the characters may have not done what I personally wanted. Some of those books are the surprising ones that make you think and take you out of your comfort zone! It's hard, but I try to keep an open mind and keep my lower ratings to poor development, editing, or downright unlikable characters that make no sense.

Here's what frustrated me:
As much as I enjoyed the first half of the book, the ending drove me batshit crazy. Once they separated, the book dragged as we got highlights over a 5 month period of Marc finding excuses for himself. At one point I wondered when it would ever end. And that was long after they had reconciled their relationship. It just kept going and going. Part of that frustration was I was so sick of Marc dealing with his situation after 5 months of being on the fence. His excuses were pathetic - his friends were going through drama and it wasn't the right time. I really turned my opinion around on Troy when he called Marc out on that line of thinking. How can Marc tell his father, brother, and mother (and speak so frankly to the father/brother) about him being bi-sexual and this potentional three-way relationship, but not tell his closest friends even though he worked with them and as escorts? As if they would go and spill the beans to his boss? Even after he got out of the escort business for almost the whole 5 months? No, Marc, no.

I never connected with Nathalia or got a consistent read on her. Most of my stabby feelings centered around her:
- At first she was this smooth and sophisticated woman. Then she became this silly "Oh yay! I'm so excited!" and jumping on the bed and giddy. Most of the time she was very one-dimensional and an inconsistent character for me.

- Something trivial and minor. Until the end... how had she never been to Marc's house???

- What really drove the nail in the coffin was how she didn't stand up to Marc about Lincoln. It's almost like she was cheating on the other guy when she and Marc professed their love for each other. Marc kept putting off his much needed conversation with Linc while sexing her up and telling her he loved her. It left me with the feeling that she was ok with separate relationships with each man rather than her earlier insistence they were a unit and equals. Why didn't she stand up for Linc and after having a 1x1 relationship that had grown over the 5 months? She was all about, well you two need to work that out between yourselves. But she's part of this relationship not the three of them separately. HERE'S THE ULTIMATE RUB TO THIS SITUATION: How could they go 2-3 weeks of Marc/Nathalia confessing their love together and not get together with Linc right away? Make it work people even if he was out of town. To me that was making Linc and his feelings less of a priority in this supposedly equal relationship.

- Along the same lines of her wanting the two guys to work it out, she sounded like a therapist most of the time. She seemed very dispassionate and a lot of "why do you think you feel that way?" Most of the conversations Nathalia had were stilted. OR she would completely repeat everything said in a previous conversation with one of the other guys. I didn't need a word for word recap when it was already so disconnected and monotone. BUT the conversations between the two guys? It was awesome and either heartfelt and you could feel the tension.

I was so angry with Marc towards the end of the book. To me he was emotionally abusing Linc and ignoring his vulnerability by hooking up with him, leaving him and never contacting him for months. And on Christmas (and why did Thalia leave Linc alone on Christmas if her father did like him anyway?) Marc treated Linc like shit and would not own up to his own issues and responsibility. Marc and Nathalia acted like it was mostly Linc's fault for the disconnect in their relationship. Marc was clearly the alpha of the two men and I felt Linc had shown how much he wanted and felt for Marc. Marc couldn't come to terms about himself and deflected those insecurities onto his relationship with Linc.

Again, I was absolutely floored how long Marc took to come to terms with his lifestyle and feelings. 5 months?! Can you tell I can't get past that? Did he ever think maybe they would have moved on and called him on his bullshit? And once he figured it all out there was no sense of urgency to make it right. I'm surprised Linc didn't walk away eventually once Marc hooked back up with Nathalia and didn't make a move to reconnect with him too. Marc had no consideration for Linc's feelings and it felt like a slap in the face how Nathalia let it keep happening with the sad excuse and cop out that they needed to work it out themselves. Fight for your men!

So all that to say - if a book got me thinking this much and riled up, I'd say I definitely recommend it. I was so surprised how much I was drawn to Marc and Linc's chemistry! To wrap this up on a very positive note... I loved the author's last paragraph. It was a perfect message for a book on a subject that not the average and vanilla person may be comfortable or familiar with. Kudos for succinctly expressing that live the life you want and only one that will make you happy.

This amazing read kept me reading up untill 03h00 in the morning!

I love the dynamic between the throuple! No jealousy just astounding passion!

First Thalia, a hotel heiress, is a client of Marc Edwards but he finds her too fascinating not like all his other clients!
She wants to get to know the real Marc and boy does she brake down some of his walls!

Enter bi Lincoln Cash an established sex club owner and close friend of Thalias who wants her but not without another man!
The chemistry is off the charts between these two domineering alpha males and their passionate submissive!

So starts their dynamic relationship but there are far too many walls for Thalia to break down, will Lincoln help her?

I love this series!

Steamy, sexy polyamorous story. We met Marc in the previous two Escort books. He is hired by Nathalia LaBelle. There is an instant spark. Nathalia has a friend, Lincoln Cash , who tells her that he won't be with her without another man around. She thinks Marc may be the answer to moving her relationship with Lincoln forward. She takes Marc to meet Lincoln. There are instant sparks there too. Marc has to come to terms with quitting the Escort business and telling his friends. Does he take the chance? Can a relationship with both Nathalia and Linc work? I loved Lincoln, Marc and Nathalia. There is great chemistry between all of them.

5/5⭐️ 5/5🔥

Marc, Lincoln and Nathalia ARE MY FAVORITES. I’m a sucker for MMF/MFM/MM and Isabel Lucero did that, low angst, SPICE AND SPICE 🔥🥵🤭

Marc is an escort (obviously) and falls for a client Nathalia BUT Nathalia is in a relationship with Lincoln. The three of them spend more and more time together, feelings get involved and Marc, well Marc isn’t very open to his bromance as we’ve thought throughout the series.

I loved the jealousy, the begging, the spankings, UGH. This author took me out with these characters. They took my heart ❤️

Hot hot hot

this was a very sexual, dirty talking love story. A male escort Marc and his female client Nathalia fall for each other. Then he meets a guy friend of hers Lincoln. Marc has a instant attraction to Lincoln. This does have MF, MM, MMF and MFM. If you like all of these then this book is for you. If you don't like these kind of sex scenes, then maybe it's not for you. I would definitely recommend this book.
