Love. Loss. Betrayal. It’s the story of my life. I’m tired of playing games, and I’m ready to fight. I refuse to let anybody else die. Maybe it’s insane to go after him like this. But I don’t care, I just want it over. I’m ready for my happy beginning.
OMG this book was amazing. I finished it in less than a day. Could not have asked for a more perfect ending to this series. These characters will forever be etched in my mind and heart. I'm sad it's over but very much enjoyed the experience. Mercy had me thinking that i wanted to switch ship teams mid series only to discover that deep i was and always will be team Gabe the babe. Everything Mercy writes is gold and this book is no exception. If you haven't read this series or anything written by Mercy what are you waiting for?
It continues to bamboozle me as to how this series is getting 4-5 star ratings. The characters are stereotypical and shallow, the heroine is badly written, inconsistent and unlikeable and the storyline (what there is of it) is insulting to the readers intelligence. Even the thickest reader should have known by the end of book 2 what the identity of the stalkers were. If I hadn't already bought the whole series I would have happily given up after the first book.
Sorry, but from the 3rd book on it just dragged for me.. the same thoughts in Kihanna's head. The same outbursts of emotion from her, Gabe and Ty... I liked the stalker mystery though and Toby would be my fav character throughout.
1.5-2 stars. My previous opinion of this series still stands. Too shallow and fickle characters (except for Toby) and lots of potential that it didn't live up too, it all felt rushed and too simplified. But since I cared enough about it to buy all the books there had to be something in it that engaged me.
This series was just spectacular. This book alone was awesome. It took me 2 days to finish but I could have easily read it in a day or less. These characters were just so easy to fall in love with. The ending to this series is just perfect. I am sad to see this series come to an end. I cannot wait to read about Kihannah in college though. To see where that goes. So I am glad that I will see some or all of those characters again. Not sure what will happen next in Kihannah's life.
I was really confused on who the stalker would be by the end of the series. I went through all the list of people in my head. I was shocked at finding out though. I really loved that character and couldn't believe that they would do something like that. As for the ending and what happened I knew kind of how they take down would work. I enjoyed this story and series immensely.
If you haven't read any of this author series you should definitely pick something from this author up. Because she is phenomenal. Each series I read of her I just fall in love with. I love the suspense in her books. They each just so amazing.
It is a bit of a rollercoaster ride to get through but its so fast paced that you just want to keep going. It's suspenseful to the very end. The romance is just so deep it cuts right through your emotions. So please pick up this series. Or any of her other books.
All of Book #4 was about how she didn't really love Gabe and they were really just best friends and she was scared to commit to him and she really loved Brian and blah blah blah. Then she finds out And TOBY! He's supposed to protect her and love her and be her big brother and he waffles just as much as she does! No truly protective big brother would stand for that mess.
And...in the first book, her dad bought her a Porsche. By the 5th book, she had a Merc. Confusing.
The stalkers, all of them, were predictable.
To say I'm disappointed in this last book is an understatement. But, honestly, I can't say I'm surprised that I'm disappointed in it. I'm bummed I paid $16 to read 4/5 books (since the first was free). But hey, even if the writing wasn't the best, and the books were seriously much shorter than the $3.99 price point should deliver, the author hooked me in and I paid it. So, well done, author!
So, the final book in the Kihanna saga!! Finally I finished this addictive series and get some closure on the mystery that's gone on for ten months (in the books).
I will say, the ending was a bit abrupt. But a lot of signs in this book (and at the end of book four) pointed towards who the person behind the hit men was, so I knew who it was before it was revealed. Still, an interesting conclusion.
Despite my whinging about how Kihanna is so perfect, she still was an interesting character. I'd almost like to read about her years at college and life after that... I feel like I got to know her very well over the course of this series. Ah well. I'd probably just get irritated with how perfect Kihanna is if there were more books about her. xD
Interesting series, fast reads... wouldn't recommend as literature but if you want something that will capture your interest in a doctor's office or a plane trip or something, these will definitely do that. Or at least, they did for me. :)
I have finally read the finale of the Kihanna series. I have loved reading this series and after reading every book, i always have this thirst for wanting to know who Kihanna's stalker was. I was slighted disappointed when the guy who hired the high school kids who were stalking Kihanna. I know it was more than one! I was disappointed as i was hoping it was someone else. I don't want to give much away but i will say that i wanted it to be someone closer to her. There was a big shock as to who the stalker was but it does get complicated as to the amount of people involved.
I have really enjoyed reading this series and i'm a bit sad that it's ended. It does keep you guessing throughout the series and the amount of time i changed my mind on who was the stalker was quite frequent. I really love it! Definitely one to read!
i love this series!! I was very sad that this series was over :(. This book will through you for twist and turns that you will not expect. this book will shock you when you find out who it is.This series is a mix between pretty little liars and one tree hill. I really like how she does not go back over old stuff that happened in previous books. I recommend reading the other book in the series before you read this book. They are fast reads and you will not want to but them down. This book is a really good book.
Can't believe that after a week incredibly late nights that Kihanna's story is over. I absolutely loved every one of these books. The author did an amazing job with every aspect. Not only did she constantly keep me guessing and suspecting everyone, but I love that Kihanna "dated" around. That is so much more like what high school relationships are. Can't wait to read more of this talented authors work!
I so enjoyed reading about these characters and getting to know them. I have most of mercy stories, & I have re-read all of them several times. it's kind of funny because I'm a 55 yr. old woman. but I really love mercy style of writing and the stories themselves. Will continue to read her work too.
I believe I have read every book in the Kihanna series in one sitting, they are that good. The characters are great and their stories will suck you right in. A well written series, loved it!
The only two reasons I give this book, and all of the others in the series, 4 stars is because some of the conversations sound way to formal to be between teenagers and there are WAY too many words emphasized by italics, some of which don't need to be emphasized.
Khianna's life has been controlled by a stalker and the people around her are always in danger. In this book, everyone is suspect and the story will have you on edge. FANTASTIC ending.
