This is the second book in a series, but it can be read as a standalone as the author provides brief recaps of the story so far.
There are two main storylines- Ruby Lambert's who is trying to lose baby weight to look good for her sister Olivia's wedding and Harry Small's who has also joined the same weight losing program to save his marriage.
A quick and easy read, although the topic isn't something I'd usually go for. I guess more than anything else Ruby wants to take control of a part of her life. She's generally confident and decisive, but having to raise her newborn son on her own obviously brought a lot of changes in her life. I adored her tender moments with Simon and her constant realisation of the love she is feeling for him.
Harry's story was also very curious, although, compared to Ruby with her healthy family support network, he seemed more isolated and even lonely.
Personally, I wasn't very invested in Mr B's tricks and practical jokes side. Perhaps, there was more about him in the first book and this is just a catch-up?
In case you're wondering there is a happily-ever-after and things work out wonderfully for all the main characters. A bit of positivity (and an escape from reality) is exactly what I need at the moment and this book gave it to me.

Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the review copy provided in exchange for an honest opinion.

Artist, art dealer and single mum to baby Simon, Ruby Lambert is on a mission to lose two and a half stone. This is in the six months before her sister Olivia’s wedding. Ruby is Olivia’s chief brisdemaid. So she signs up to diet and fitness group The Bluebell Booty Busters, being held at the Bluebell Cliff Hotel. There she meets Harry Small, who has come to the group after an ultimatum from his wife Annabel. A wealthy, local business man, Harry is the only man in the group. Becky another member of the Booty Busters also become a friend to Ruby. But then things go wrong at Booty Busters, and it seems they may have been conned. Have they? Will Ruby, Harry and Becky among others reach their goal? And what surprises, both pleasant and unpleasant does life have for them?
This makes no claim to be great literature. It is a light, entertaining story of mostly likable well developed characters, although Annabel, Iris and Cheryl are rather one dimensional. it also contains a number of pranks from the chef Mr B and the fitness leader Saskia that provides amusing interludes.
Overall, I enjoyed this even though it was somewhat predictable. Could also have done with being shorter but still a pleasant read. I hadn’t read the first book in the series but it didn’t stop me from enjoying this one. Will appeal to those looking for something light and amusing.

*Love, heartbreak & frolics*

**4.5 Stars**

When successful art dealer Ruby’s sister Olivia is due to get married, it should be a wonderful occasion. But Ruby is dreading it as she is curvy and took a year off after having her baby boy Simon she has piled on the pounds. After splitting with the father of her child who omitted to mention he was not single she is off men. She decides to join The Bluebell Booty Busters in an effort to lose weight. She has six months to lose her target weight.

There she meets the only man in the group Harry Small a successful businessman. So funny as he is well over 6ft. Harry joins the group after his wife gives him an ultimatum lose weight or she is leaving. He is so desperate to hold onto his barely two year marriage so he complies. He wife continually says things like leaving his socks for her to pick up, or if he eats biscuits in bed and if she has to clear away the crumbs “it’s unreasonable behaviour” a term that will come back to haunt him.

Both Harry and Ruby have signed up to the top plan which means all their meals are included. The meals are delicious but seem far too good to be true…

There are lots of laughs, pranks and drama all set around the beautiful Dorset beaches and countryside, where love has a way of creeping up when least expected…

Art dealer Ruby Lambert is very successful at her job, she's also a single mom to an adorable baby boy.
Her sister Olivia is getting married soon and like so many of us she wants to look her best for the wedding in a few months time so she joins a weight loss/workout program.
Next we meet Harry, a young man, only married for less than two years with a very annoying wife. This woman can not find anything right with Harry, complains constantly and finds everything he does "unreasonable". When you have this many problems with your husband don't you think maybe it's time to examine yourself and it becomes a not him problem but a "you" problem?
Anyways Harry is at the weight loss program because his wife signs him up for it.
Will Ruby be able to lose the weight in time for her sister's big day? Will Harry's weight loss finally make his wife happy? I'm not giving anything away so read it and find out.
Very realistic book. I enjoyed it very much.

Ruby Lambert, 35, is a successful art dealer and artist, and a single mum to her son, Simon. Simon’s father is not around as he didn't mention he was already married when Ruby met him. Ruby’s sister, Olivia is getting married in four months to Phil Grimshaw and Ruby is determined to lose the baby weight she's gained and get rid of her pinafore dresses and dungarees. She joins a diet group called The Bluebell Booty Busters with Saskia York, a YouTube exercise guru and influencer, and celebratory chef, Mr B, at the Bluebell hotel. Harry has also joined at the insistence of his bossy and persuasive wife.

The second book in a series set in Dorset, southern England, this tale is all about self-image, friendship and support. The writing is lovely and it's a great choice of reading material if you are looking for humour, laughter and escapism.

I received a complimentary copy of this novel at my request from Boldwood Books via NetGalley. This review is my own unbiased opinion.

The story
Ruby, 35, is a single mom to her son Simon. She is a hugely successful art dealer and artist, brokering deals on art masterpieces. Sadly Simon’s father kept the fact that he was already married when from her when they were dating. Ruby’s sister Olivia is marrying in four months time and Ruby decides she wants to lose the baby weight that has been hanging around since she had Simon. She joins an upmarket diet group with Saskia, a YouTube exercise guru and the Bluebell hotel’s fancy chef. The others in the group provide friendship and also great diet support. Will Ruby find a happy place before the wedding takes place?

My thoughts
The first book in this series covers older sister Olivia’s journey and her love story with Phil. I enjoyed this story as much (if not more). I loved the perspective from both Ruby and Harry who she meets in the diet group. He is just such a sweetie and I so enjoyed their friendship and growing feeling for each other. This is a sweet read that didn’t focus on the romance but also the rather harder parts of self image, diet struggle and relationships that support rather than break down. A lovely read! ❤️

I read an eARC copy courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher.

I've been so happy to go back to Bluebell Cliff and make reacquaintance with Olivia, Phil, Ruby and Mr B. and also to get to know the new characters. Even though this book is the second instalment of the series, it can be read as a standalone.
This is a cosy, easy read, lovely and uplifting, just the right kind of book to curl up with and forget what's going on in the world at the moment!

Confetti Over Bluebell Cliff by Della Galton

This story follows the individual trials of Ruby and Harry. Ruby has been a successful art dealer for years and has just recently had a baby but her sister is getting married and she is chief bridesmaid. Her son is six months old and unfortunately Ruby discovers just how much weight she has gained but hasn’t lost and is in a panic as her sister is a famous tv soap star and Ruby doesn’t want to let her down. Harry runs a multimillion pound marketing business and has recently married a trophy wife who has demanded he lose the weight he has gained or she will leave him. Both join a new weight loss program being run by a media fitness star and a master chef. Having met on the first day and we follow their journey at the class.

A well written, fast and enjoyable read.

Anyone who has done this journey will relate to this. Alhough is more a book about friendship and life’s trials and tribulations than a romance which only really transpired at the very end of the book.

I have been a fan of Della’s work for a little while now. I have read and loved every book that she has written to date. I love the way in which she writes such fun stories about such to down earth people. I read the synopsis for ‘Confetti Over Bluebell Cliff’ and it certainly sounded like another amazing read. I thoroughly enjoyed reading ‘Confetti Over Bluebell Cliff’ but more about that in a bit.
I loved the character of Ruby and I warmed to her from the start. She is young woman, who is a single parent to an adorable baby. She has a very tight support network. During her pregnancy Ruby gained some weight that she thought might go once she had had the baby- only it didn’t. Ruby is due to be bridesmaid for her sister and she is determined that she is going to lose the weight before the wedding, as she wants to look good in her bridesmaid’s dress. I also had a soft spot for the other main character called Harry. Harry is a lovely man, who is married as the story begins. To be honest I was getting rather annoyed with his wife who seems very passive aggressive and makes snide comments directed at Harry. Harry seems rather low on self confidence which isn’t surprising when you consider what he has had to put up with. There’s a definite spark between Ruby and Harry and I kept everything crossed that they both got their ‘happy ever after ending’ that they both so deserved.
As with all of Della’s books, I was drawn into this story from the very first word on the very first page. As soon as I started reading I knew that I wouldn’t be able to put this book to one side for any length of time. I was so taken with the main characters and I warmed to them so much that they ended up feeling more like friends rather than characters in a book. I had to keep reading to see how the story panned out in the way that I thought it would or if there was to be a twist. I would pick the book up only intending to read a chapter or two but I would become so wrapped up in the story and in the lives of the characters that I would still be sat there reading several chapters later. I seemed to race through the story. All too quickly I reached the end of the book and I had to say goodbye to Ruby, Harry and the other characters. I found ‘Confetti Over Bluebell Cliff’ to be a delight to read from start to finish.
‘Confetti Over Bluebell Cliff’ is extremely well written but then to be fair so are all of Della’s books. Della has one of those writing styles that is easy to get used to and easy to get along with. Della writes so warmly that the text actually reads more like a chat between friends rather than reading a book. I hope that makes sense. For me the story hits the ground running and maintains a fairly steady pace throughout. Della clearly cares about her characters and this shines through in the way in which she describes them. She describes them so well that they seem to just as real as you and I. I love the way in which the author makes the reader feel as though they are part of the story themselves and at the heart of the action.
In short, I thoroughly enjoyed reading ‘Confetti Over Bluebell Cliff’ and I would recommend it to other readers. I will certainly be reading more of Della’s work in the future. The score on the Ginger Book Geek board is a very well deserved 5* out of 5*.

As her sister Olivia’s wedding approaches, Ruby really doesn’t want to be “the fat bridesmaid” – she’s let herself go a little after the birth of baby Simon (and perhaps eaten too many pastries for breakfast) and really wants to do something about it. So she eagerly signs up for gold membership of the new diet club at the Bluebell Hotel – meals delivered, and including exercise classes – run jointly by social media star Saskia and chef Mr B.

Harry (the only male in the group) has his own reasons for joining – his wife has threatened to leave him unless he loses some of the pounds he’s piled on. The story follows their progress, as they become friends and support each other – and charts both Ruby’s increase in self-confidence and relationship with her family, and Harry’s issues with his marriage (and his wife really is quite a piece of work…). But it also follows the ups and downs of the diet club itself – including the pranks that Mr B is famous for (along with his uncanny ability to swerve any played on him).

Both Harry and Ruby are wonderful characters. Ruby’s focus is now on being a mother rather than her high-powered art dealing career, and her confidence has been rather dented – and it was good to see it returning as the pounds fall away, supported by her lovely family. Harry’s personal problems only multiply – his wife is rather more toxic than he ever imagined, and his situation isn’t one he can control as well as he has his successful business life. The story is told from both their points of view, and the growing relationship between them was one I really enjoyed.

And then there’s the humour – Mr B’s bluster is familiar from the earlier books (although if this is your first, you’ll soon pick up on the theme…), and there are plenty of laugh-out-loud moments as others attempt to get even. But although the laughter and lightness is ever present, there’s plenty of space for issues too – Ruby finding her way, the controlling behaviour in Harry’s marriage, and a continuation of the fertility issues for sister Olivia and husband-to-be Phil. The whole book is really nicely balanced – it’s light, but with enough shadows to keep it interesting and involving. And it is, of course, a romance too – a necessarily slow-burn one, but entirely satisfying and believable.

There’s a real warmth about the author’s writing that I always thoroughly enjoy, along with an ability to create characters you take to your heart and involve you in their lives. This really was a lovely read – and one I’d thoroughly recommend.

Witty, emotional and deliciously addictive, Confetti Over Bluebell Cliff is the latest enchanting novel from Della Galton’s talented pen.

When art dealer Ruby Lambert is asked by her sister Olivia to be head bridesmaid at her wedding in six months, her first instinct is to panic! Having still not lost her baby weight and determined not to let her sister down, Ruby decides to join a slimming club in order to shift those extra pounds. The Bluebell Booty Busters is a swanky diet and fitness club that could offer Ruby the encouragement and help she so desperately needs, but little does she realise that she’s about to get a lot more than she had bargained for at Booty Busters…

Local businessman Harry Small would rather be anywhere than at Booty Busters, but with his wife worried about his health and his ever-growing waistline, he decided to join this slimming club to get fit and lose some weight. Harry does not know what to expect from Booty Busters, but at least he quickly strikes up a friendship with Ruby Lambert and the two begin to cheer each other on during their weight loss journey and support one another when they feel like throwing in the towel and reaching for the cake and biscuits.

However, lately Harry and Ruby cannot shake off this feeling that something is amiss at Booty Busters. Can they get to the bottom of this puzzling mystery that is troubling the pair of them? Will they ever reach their weight loss targets? Or are they just setting themselves up for disappointment?

I’m a big fan of Della Galton’s and in Confetti Over Bluebell Cliff, she has once again penned a fun, feel-good and emotional read full of believable characters readers cannot help but warm to. Ruby and Harry are so brilliantly drawn and so incredibly real that they will feel like old friends by the end of the book and it is a wrench to bid them goodbye on the last page.

An uplifting and enjoyable tale readers will love, Confetti Over Bluebell Cliff is another winner by Della Galton.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Having met Ruby in the last book, I was thrilled to see that there was an opportunity to learn more about her and see Olivia’s wedding at the hotel. This book can be read as a standalone, but I would heartily recommend catching up on the rest of the series to get the most pleasure out of Mr B’s prankster behaviour.
It would be easy to pity Ruby, after learning that her boyfriend, and father of her unborn son, was having an affair, she took the brave decision to go it alone as a single mother. She is in the fortunate position of being independently wealthy, so money worries are not an issue. However, she finds that juggling a newborn and a successful business is a challenge as she must learn to delegate and ask for help. Luckily, she has her mother, her aunt, and occasionally her sister to rely on.
Harry is a wonderful leading man, described as a Ben Affleck look alike, I didn’t need to try and cast my own movie version. This kind, gentle giant has a harridan for a wife, and I did wonder why he put up with her awful behaviour. Forced to join The Bluebell Booty Busters, Harry loses weight but gains friendship and support.
The idea of the Booty Busters was refreshing, I couldn’t afford that kind of regime, but I would find dieting a lot more palatable if I was eating specially prepared gourmet meals each evening. I particularly enjoyed catching up with Saskia, Phil and the inimitable Mr B.
The joy of this series is the fabulous characters that Della Galton has created. They are fully developed and feel like friends. Catching glimpses of former characters is a real treat and huge part of the charm. As I said, I would certainly recommend reading the rest of the series.
Escaping back to Dorset was a perfect break and a well-earned treat.

Thank you #Netgalley and #boldwoodbooks for allowing me to read this ARC. It took me a minute to get into the story, the initial focus is on setting up the characters and the one thing the two main Characters: Ruby Lambert and Harry Small have in common. A drive to lose weight. Ruby is a single mother to baby Simon and with less than 4 months to go until her sister Olivia's Wedding, suddenly realises she is a lot bigger than she had thought she was. Harry is unHappily married to his wife Annabel who is quite cruel to him, she even signs him up for a fitness boot camp because in her mind he is now unreasonably overweight. Saskia York runs Bluebell Booty Busters with Master Chef Mr B and the Blue Cliff Hotel and this is where the story starts taking shape, in more ways than one. There is a lot of humour in this book, with focus on single parenthood, conception issues, a marriage breakdown and people learning to be strong to achieve their ideal weight. I absolutely enjoyed getting to know all of the characters and their quirks. Many of us can identify with the pounds sneaking up on us and then wanting to change that. There is a difference between wanting and doing. In this book the boost is that it makes losing weight feel attainable with effort and dedication and that we are not alone in our weight woes. The story touches on fertility issues from a female and male perspective and how difficult it can be with both partners have fertility issues. Friendship and support is written in a beautiful way and I really felt sorry for Annabel's BMW. If you want humour, laughter and inspiration, you will find it in this book. I couldn't put it down as I was so keen to find out what happens next. You can find love in all kinds of strange places.

The second book in the Bluebell Cliff series, but this definitely works as a standalone. Olivia and Phil are planning their wedding and Olivia’s is bridesmaid. With a six month old baby, Ruby is determined not to be the fat, frumpy bridesmaid next to her gorgeous sister. When she steps on the scales she realises just how much weight she has gained since maternity leave.

Successful and independent, Ruby finds herself with a crisis of confidence. Struggling with her body image, she signs up to Booty Busters at the Bluebell Cliff Hotel. A fully inclusive diet and exercise programme, Ruby gets her meals planned and delivered alongside regular workout sessions.

There she meet Harry, the only man in the group. Rich and successful, Harry has a twinkle in his eye and their friendship soon blossoms. He has been signed up to the course by his controlling wife and has lots ifnproblems of his own to work through.

With weight to lose, relationships to build and big events on the horizon, the Booty Busters have lots to focus on.

The characters of Ruby and Harry are so relatable and it’s great to have such a clear and well-developed male character.

I really like the realism of Ruby. She is confident and successful in her professional life, but having a baby has had a huge impact on her life. Her role wothin her own family and relationships with her mother and sister have changed, not to mention being a single mum. This is definitely something that lots of women can relate to.

Some familiar faces from the first book are back – Mr B and the hotel pranks add some laugh out loud moments.

This is a sweet and uplifting read. Perfect escapism for challenging times.

It is great to return to the Bluebell Cliff Hotel and to catch up with all the individuals who work there. It is a real escapist location and much of the humour comes from the characters there, especially Head Chef, Mr B. Ruby is centre stage in this instalment in the series as she prepares for her sister, Olivia's, wedding. I found that Ruby and Harry's story took time to get established due to a lot of scene setting around their Bluebell Booty Boosters Slimming Club. However, once I got into it, I enjoyed the fact that theirs was a slow burn friendship.
Ruby is an interesting character, with insecurities around her personal life. Family seems to be paramount to her and she is surprised at the depth of her feelings about motherhood. Capable in her private life, she realises however that it is very hard to manage all aspects of her past life with her new responsibilities. Ruby has a close relationship with her sister and you see her kindness and generosity through their conversations around fertility. Although you can read this as a standalone, it is really worth reading as part of the series.
In short: Some relationships fail and others bloom...

Della Galton’s writing has an overriding sunny and optimistic feel, making for enjoyable escapism. This book has that in bucket loads. I love the way the author weaves relationships between people, for example, Harry and Ruby’s fledging romantic bond felt totally natural and kept me reading until the end. The attraction between them came off the page.

A strong sisterly and family bond came across really well in the story, adding to the small-town feel. The depictions of Bluebell Cliff were enchanting. It was good to see emotional abuse being discussed as happening to a man, something I have not often come across in fiction. I was pleased to see how Harry grew in confidence in the story. Ruby too grew as a character for me. Although I’m not a mum, it was easy to empathise with Ruby being a new mum trying to juggle everything. Dieting is a tricky and sensitive subject to write about and whilst some may find it a little off-putting, it was positively portrayed for the characters.

Another strong romance story with all of your favourite characters from the previous book, catching up on Olivia and Phil’s life and their struggles to have a family. With thanks to Boldwood Books, Rachel’s Random Resources and NetGalley for this ARC I received in exchange for an honest review.

This story has an original theme explored through believable characters, which engender the reader's empathy. A slow-burn romance is at its heart, but it also explores themes of self-esteem, body image, controlling relationships and friendship.

Ruby is looking forward to being a bridesmaid for her sister's wedding, but she would like to look good in the wedding photographs. Joining a new diet and fitness group at the local hotel is the perfect opportunity. She meets some interesting people there, including Harry, the only man there also wanting to lose weight but his reasons for doing so are more complex and darker.

Told from Ruby and Harry's viewpoints, this is their story that begins with camaraderie and develops into something more. Characters from previous books in the series feature too, which is great for those familiar with the Bluebell Cliff hotel, but if not, it's a perfect place to start the series.

Mr B, the arrogant chef fond of playing practical jokes on others, is on form in this book, but this is a lovely escapist read. It's easy to become immersed in the character's life in this idyllic setting.

In a follow up to Sunshine over Bluebell Cliff, Olivia and Phil are planning their wedding and Olivia's sister Ruby starts to panic over the excess baby weight she's still carrying six months after having Simon. She decides to join the new diet and exercise plan created by a popular social media fitness star and a master chef. What could go wrong? She soon makes friends with most of the other members, especially Harry, the only male in the group. He's been given an ultimatum by his wife... lose weight or she's leaving him. But the more weight he loses, the more clear his marriage becomes. What happens when his best is never good enough?
Although Harry seems rather naive in his attitude toward his wife, I found her behavior controlling and offensive. He's such a sweetie and deserves so much better. I'm glad he finally saw the truth. And I think every woman everywhere has felt like a Ruby. It's a special kind of nightmare being the only chubby bridesmaid! I wish I had a Mr. B to custom create diet meals for me!

I really enjoyed reading this book, it was such an easy and gorgeous read. It is part of the Bluebell Cliff series of books and follows on the story of Olivia and Phil's wedding. The focus is on Ruby, Olivia's Sister as she struggles to lose her baby weight in order to fit into her bridesmaid dress.
A new weight loss class has opened up at the Hotel, which Ruby attends. We are introduced to Harry and Saskia, who both feature heavily. Harry is such a lovely character. The Enigmatic Mr. B is involved in the class, and he is in fine form with his pranks.
The characters in this book are very well developed and you feel like you really know them, I also love the descriptions of Dorset and the History. I am familiar with some of the places, and am always excited to find pieces of fossils. I love reading about the places that I know. These books are so well written that I can picture the scenes perfectly.
One thing that I love about these books is that they always end properly, and like the epilogue. I'm not sure without giving away any spoilers if there will be any more books in this series, but I do hope so. I enjoy them so much.
Thank you to Netgalley and Boldwood books for my ARC.

I loved Ruby right from the start. She was just so lovely and easy to relate to. It didn’t matter whether she was talking about being a foodie or about her love for her son, so overwhelming it could cause physical pain, I completely got her! Being reconnected with Ruby’s family which I had met in the book mentioned above, was also a delight. They are all such lovely people and all special in their own way.

Harry was described as a slightly bigger Ben Affleck and just had a huge heart and did not deserve the way his wife was treating him. It really upset me that such a kind man could end up being treated the way he was… I had lots of ideas about what should happen to his wife!

Being a rom-com and heartwarming feel good book the story was quite predictable, but still ever so enjoyable. I loved every minute of it and really felt like I was being given a warm hug while reading this book. I smiled a lot, got a bit emotional and I laughed. I can’t ask for anymore!

If you have not read a book by Della Galton yet, but enjoy heartwarming, feel good rom-com, then I would highly recommend you don’t put it off much longer. Her books are an absolute delight and I cannot wait to read more of them!

♡ The story has a little bit of romance in it as it mainly revolves around diet struggles, body and self-image. For someone who's really determined to lose her excess baby fats and wants to avoid high-calorie and sugary foods, I can really relate and feel the struggle.

♡ When it comes to POVs, you'll be able to hear Ruby and Harry's sides, which is well-written. Harry is such a sweet and hot husband, but his wife is so shallow and a hypocrite. I don't want to give too much information, but I can assure you, this is a feel-good and easy read. If I were not just busy, I guess I'd finish reading this book in just two days or maybe within a day!

♡ I'm into romance stories so I would really love more romantic scenes, which this book is lacking. Moreover, I enjoyed reading the story and I cannot wait to read the upcoming Bluebell Hotel series.

In this novel, a sequel to Sunshine over Bluebell Cliff we revisit the Lambert family, this time in preparation for Olivias upcoming wedding to Phil. The story centres on Ruby, Olivia's sister who wants to lose the baby weight she gained after having Simon, before wearing the bridesmaid dress Olivia has chosen. She joins a club at Bluebell Cliff Hotel and has fun making new friendships whilst attempting to get to her target weight.
As usual with Della's books they are upbeat with lovely moments. A real feel good read. A great book for people who like a little romance but not sickly sweet novels
Many thanks to Netgalley and Boldwood books for the opportunity to read this advanced copy, I am under no obligation to leave my honest review

Thank you so much Della Galton, Boldwood books and Rachel’s random resources for gifting me a digital copy of confetti over bluebell cliff in exchange for an honest review. This is my second book by Della Galton and a return trip to the Bluebell cliff hotel, this time we follow Ruby on a weight loss mission before her sister’s wedding. What I really love about Della Galton’s books is the strength of her characters; I always feel like I could call them up for a coffee of join one of their exercise classes. This book was filled with warmth, friendship and a slow burn of a relationship that gave me such joy by the end of the book. Overall this book left me with a sense of calm and contentment for the characters. I can’t wait to see what Della Galton writes next.

Delightful, quick read. Ruby Lambert is an artist and art dealer who is taking some time to enjoy being a mother while at the same time is stressed about the extra baby weight she is still carrying as her sisters wedding days looms in the near future. Follow her through her diet adventure and making of new friends through Booty Busters class with witty banter, laughs and so much more. This is the second book in the series, but I was able to follow along and read it as a stand alone.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. Thank you NetGalley, Della Galton and Boldwood Books for this edition and hearing my honest review. Looking forward to reading more with you

I flew through this book over the sound of my children and pets with no bother — I was completely sucked in from the very first chapter. It’s calmer than what I usually read, but I didn’t lose interest once.

There were quite a few typos and grammatical errors, but I bought a cheap copy, so I’m not sure if that was a printing issue or not. Either way, the story itself more than made up for it.

I loved Ruby — she’s classy, clever, and a character I couldn’t help rooting for. And Harry… I was so thrilled for him. Yes, the plot was a little predictable at times, but that just made me more eager to see if they’d finally get their time together in the end.

A heartfelt, engaging read that I’ll definitely remember.

Thank you Della Galton for the last week of silent therapy!

When Ruby single mum to Simon is asked to be bridesmaid at her sister Olivia’s wedding she is delighted that her sister is getting married but nervous as she has put on over 2 stones since having her son.Ruby signs up to Booty Busters run by Saskia and celebrity chef Mr B, where she meets Harry whose wife Annabelle has given him an ultimatum to lose weight or she will leave him. A story packed with lots of topics, some are sensitive subjects but a great read which I enjoyed and even found funny in parts. Ruby and Harry are the real deal.

3.5 STARS

Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Confetti Over Bluebell Cliff starts off slow but really picks up speed halfway through, keeping you hooked with its unexpected twists and turns. The characters are well-developed, offering a mix of humor, heart, and love that make for an enjoyable read. While the pacing early on might feel a bit drawn out, the second half makes up for it with some genuine surprises. Overall, it’s a fun and heartwarming story, earning 3.5 stars.

Lovely to be back in Bluebell Cliff and catch up with the characters from the first book. This time it is Ruby and Harry's turn and is again full of great characters in a beautiful setting with plenty of humour and a subject I can definitely relate to... weight loss! Perfect light hearted beach read

Another great read in the Bluebell Cliff series catching up with Clara, Mr B, Phil, Olivia and other brilliant characters we have met in the previous books.
This time we meet Olivia's sister Ruby and the gorgeous Simon her baby son as she embarks on a weight loss regime in time for Olivia's wedding.
