Bradley's Whistle

Rate this book
Was he a hitman? A Navy SEAL? A gigolo?
I had no idea what Bradley Emerson actually did for a living,
but I was determined to find out.
Secrets and I don’t mix, and this man was one hell of a mystery.
Dangerously handsome. Suit tailored to sin.
Challenge accepted.
~ Wiska

I wanted her. Didn’t mean I should. Didn’t mean I could.
The brain in my head had officially handed over control
to the one between my legs.
And that guy?
A damn rule breaker.
Wiska Jennings was off-limits, inappropriate,
and completely irresistible.
She didn’t just get under my skin,
she took up permanent residence.

Falling in love one letter at a time…

How judgemental for people to assume that porn stars can’t have love and meaningful relationships. Everyone is entitled to love and whether you’re a porn star, a politician, a teacher or a builder, if you want love and a relationship it takes time and work. Yes, working in the porn industry may make things awkward and maybe even a little intimidating, but the career does not make the person and the person does not always make the career.

This story brought a smile to my face. The characters became my friends, a few I had met before in Decker’s Wood and it was great to see them again. Bradley, who lives in London and chooses to go by his last name, Emerson, is a workaholic. As a favour to Decker and his cousin Andi (who are both in lovey, dovey lala land) Bradley agrees to let a porn star having some paparazzi problems come and stay awhile. When Wiska arrives with Casey and Lionel (Andi’s gay neighbours) tagging along, Bradley’s ready to kill Decker for dumping them in his lap.

Both Bradley and Wiska have insta-lust at first sight. Hardly surprising considering he’s a good looking bloke and she’s a sweet looking porn star with D cups. Wiska and Bradley are not interested in a relationship as they have both been burned previously. This does not follow the lines of a few other romances where they instantly set up the parameters for a no-strings sexual relationship. Wiska is not that sort of girl. Quite often she is judged solely on her job and TBH I found it hard to take my moral cap off and not judge her myself. Once we get to know Wiska, see how she was brought up, what made her start in the industry and her plans for the future, you realise that any preconceived ideas about porn stars do not apply to her.

There are a lot of issues and problems for this couple to overcome to find their HEA. To start with, they live in different countries. Bradley’s job is a big mystery to his family and friends. He felt he had to keep his job a secret for their safety. To make it easier to keep the secret, he lived as far away from them as possible. Wiska leaves New York to escape the cameras and paps. Bradley doesn’t want to tell Wiska his job and Wiska doesn’t want to tell Bradley what the paparazzi is hounding her for. Eventually they both realise that they have to share their secrets for their relationship to work.

I enjoyed Bradley’s Whistle for the humour and sweetness this couple showed to each other. I laughed at the sexual terms/descriptions/names…everything sexual in this book was funny. Surprisingly this book is not full of sex. Yes, they talk about it a lot and they think about it even more. Bradley and Wiska together are a great couple and I loved seeing all their bridges crossed and locks clicking into place. I loved Casey and Lionel, liked Aeden and Floyd and hated Davina and Kasper. Bradley’s Whistle left me with a smile on my face and content to know that love finds its way…even to porn stars :-) ♥

BRADLEY

WISKA

This is the second book in the series but can be read as a standalone, although I strongly recommend reading the first one....well just because it's brilliant.

This is the story of Bradley and Wiska.....

Bradley and Decker( from book 1) have been friends from a young age and even though they live miles apart have never lost their friendship. The connection with Wiska comes from the Porn Industry.Decker was a porn star and Wiska still is...She has become embroiled in a scandal in the States so Decker suggests she goes to stay with Bradley in London until things calm down.

( being from England I just loved all the references to London and places I'd visited)

So she arrives in London along with Deckers girlfriends 2 gay friends,Casey and Lionel who are just hilarious.Casey,in particular completely stole the show for me.

This is a sweet, sexy, funny story but don't be put of by the Pornstar title because there's nothing seedy about these books at all and the way the Author incorporates this element without it being trashy is great.

Bradley and Wiska are both attracted to each on sight and while it might be insta lust,it's a slow seduction of a story. It's not full of sex scenes but when they do get going it's sexy and sweet

The inner thoughts of Bradley and Wiska are just so funny and mainly filled with sexual thoughts..especially where Bradley and his 'Whistle' are concerned.

I would have liked a bit more of Decker and Andi(from book 1),but overall I really enjoyed this.

Recommended if you want a sweet, sexy story with great characters......

Writing a follow up book to a best seller is daunting...But I think I nailed it.

As I said with Decker, THIS IS NOT A DARK ROMANCE! This book is about having fun, being silly and enjoying a mismatched love shape into something slightly crazy, but beautiful.

Enjoy KD

“Sometimes, good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”

Well wasn’t Bradley just the secretive devil. Just what did he do for a living? We were as confused as Wiska. We couldn’t wait to read this book. After finishing a very emotionally draining story we were in dire need of something light-hearted to give us those happy feelings and laugh out loud moments. After all, we bloody loved Decker’s Wood so Bradley had big **cough, cough** shoes to fill.

“I will figure you out, Mr Emerson.”
“And I’ll enjoy you trying, Miss James.”

In some ways Bradley’s Whistle delivered and sadly, in other areas it fell a little flat. With Decker we got all the way to E, with Bradley….we got were very close to V but nowhere near E. We liked Bradley’s Whistle, but we didn’t love it.

We met Bradley in Decker’s Wood, he’s the cousin of Decker’s girlfriend Andi. In Bradley’s Whistle he is living in the UK, working for some dubious individuals and is entrusted with looking after Andi’s friend, Wiska, an adult porn star who’s fled the US in the middle of a gossip storm.

Considering Wiska’s career choice, she came across as unbelievably naïve and unworldly. She had a cute innocence to her that was endearing and hence we could totally see the attraction for Bradley. Wiska wanted romance, Bradley had sworn off porn stars.

Bradley was a lot of fun as were Casey and Lionel and we want to know how we get an invite to Fancy Dress Fridays because that was a hoot! We did have some proper giggle worthy moments in Bradley’s Whistle but it lacked the zest of Decker. Where the humour flowed easily and humorously in Decker’s Wood, it felt a little forced in this book therefore we didn’t get the side splitting moments we had hoped for.

Overall the story was sweet, witty at times with some very swoony romantic moments thrown in which stole our hearts. The notes especially…..they melted us! There were some giggle worthy interactions between the characters and we learnt a few new words for parts of the anatomy haha. Whilst we enjoyed Bradley’s Whistle – this time around we weren’t wowed and it absolutely kills us to say that. Despite not loving ti we enjoyed it and recommend it to readers who love to laugh in their romance.

It brings funny...hard : I was expecting good comedy, but I had several snort laughs with this one. Ms. Dallas continues to give a good blend of romance, comedy and porn stars that I think works even better here than in Decker’s Wood. Casey, Wiska’s friend who was Andi’s neighbor in the first book, had some of the best lines and his explanation of love was the perfect setting for this romance:

People fall in love one letter at a time, Bradley. L comes first and it ends at E, but it’s the journey in the middle that gives the word real meaning.”

Second in series but works as standalone : Now, I enjoyed Decker’s Wood and there are characters who appear in both books (most notably Casey and his partner Lionel) but I think this works as a standalone. You may be curious about certain events, but it would not impede your enjoyment of this book to not have read Decker's Wood.

Bradley and Wiska have great chemistry : Bradley has a great mix of brash, broody, hot and sweet (and borderline geeky which I love). Wiska’s was sometimes flighty ( as she says “book smart with a little case of street idiot”) but spunky and I really enjoyed the fact that she was unapologetic for being in porn. She stood up for herself without ever letting others slut shame her. Both Bradley and Wiska worked so well together that it was easy to root for them to get it right.

Lovely little touches for romance : This is a romance that could have easily been dark but it’s funny and sweet and it’s all in the the details. I think Ms. Dallas really nailed it with the details on this one - the love locks, the post it notes, Fancy Dress Fridays, all these little things really added a sweetness to the romance that acts as a nice counterpoint to the fact that he’s a porn star and he works for the mob.

That final obstacle : I was absolutely loving Bradley and Wiska, things were rolling right along and I was in happy romance heaven. They were pretty accepting of their feelings and I thought, for the most part, that they were rational and open to love. It was great. Then the final obstacle happened….and I was kind of meh about it. I understood that it was necessary to bring the story “home” so to speak, and there’s always that final obstacle or else there’s no tension. It just felt a bit off, considering that they were cautious but still open for 80% of the book. I thought that Bradley was judged harshly and too quickly. He apologized when the misunderstanding wasn’t really his fault, but since I loved the way he wooed Wiska back, I didn’t mind it.

I really enjoyed my time with Wiska and Bradley, and I'd hang with Casey anytime for Fancy Dress Fridays. I'd recommend for those who love your romance mixed with funny and a dash of porn (as in stars). I'm looking forward to the next in this series, Leah’s Hoo-ha (the title alone is cracking me up).

After Decker's Wood, which I absolutely adored, I had high expectations for Bradley's Whistle. Can I just say that everyone of those was met, and then some. BW is funny, sweet and romantic with the perfect amount of quirky.

Wiska is adorable - the kind of girl that everyone wants to have for a friend. I was cheering her on from page one, and loved getting to know more about her and her clumsy ways. Her ability to look on the bright side was beautiful and endearing.

Bradley... well, let's just say I was very intrigued to read his story, and I really enjoyed getting to know more about him and his secret life, but particularly his struggles in fighting his attractions for Wiska. His Whistle never stood a chance...

The main supporting characters, Casey and Lionel (which appear in Decker's Wood) brought such humour and light to the book. I love them to death, and having them along for the ride made the story that much well rounded. Approaching the last few pages I didn't want to say goodbye.

BW is definitely a must read <3

My first introduction to Kirsty Dallas was when I read "Decker's Wood." I absolutely loved it and I was so excited when I heard that this author was going to continue with the series. Once again, this story involved a porn star, but was it the hero or the heroine? I am keeping my lips tightly sealed. You will have to read it for yourself to find out! All I will say was that I was not disappointed with "Bradley's Whistle". I loved it and cannot wait for more!
Slowly, one little piece at a time, Wiska was stealing my heart. If she left me, she'd take all those pieces with her.

I enjoyed getting to know the two main characters in this book. Although Bradley wasn't the usual alpha type book boyfriend I usually lust after, he was still a special kind of guy. I thought that Bradley came across to be very much like a normal man. His character was very realistic and I could easily imagine meeting someone like him in real life. Wiska was a brilliant female character. I loved her strength, confidence and her lively and outgoing nature. I also loved how she was able to defend herself when she needed to. Wiska was a girl you really didn't want to mess with yet at the same time you wanted her to be your best friend. Apart from a small blip that occurred towards the end of the story, I loved everything about Wiska and Bradley.
He dominated my thoughts, he possessed my sanity, and I was pretty sure he was starting to seize control of my heart.

Wiska and Bradley made an extremely entertaining couple. There was never a dull moment throughout the couple's journey together. From the adorable post it notes to the grapefruit blow jobs to their fancy dress Fridays, Wiska and Bradley shared many exciting occasions together and I loved every single minute of reading about them all. As you may have already guessed, I really enjoyed this story. It was the perfect combination of laugh out loud humour, cute romance and spicy hot sex! Even if you have yet to read "Decker's Wood" I highly recommend reading this one. It is well worth the one-click.
She may not have been my first kiss, but she was definitely going to be my last. The thought of growing old wasn't so scary when I knew I'd grow old with Wiska, grey pubes and all.

"Bradley's Whistle" gets ❤️❤️❤️❤️.5 from me.

Bradley's Whistle by Kirsty Dallas

This is the second standalone in Kirsty Dallas's Kink Harder Presents series and is the story of Andi's cousin and Decker's best friend, Bradley.

Having had his heartbroken, Bradley has sworn off porn stars but can't seem to tell his brain that when it comes to Wiska. Wiska has escaped the scandal that attempts to follow her from New York and, at Decker's suggestion, is seeking refuge with Bradley in London.

I found that the characters were really well-developed in this book. I really liked Wiska; she's far from a jaded porn star. She quite sweet and I want to say naive and I love that she managed to bring Bradley to his stubborn knees. Bradley himself was a tough nut to crack but I loved his automatic defense of Wiska without even knowing the details. He may have sworn off porn stars, but he was ready to fall and fall he did. Also loved the reappearance of my favorite couple, Lionel and Casey. They sure know how to add extra value to a book!

The book is predominantly set in UK and I still found that when it came to Wiska, Casey, Lionel, etc, the American feel just wasn't there. I really think Dallas needs an American editor to help address these issues because while these books are really good, they could be so much better. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series!

This is Kirsty second book in her Pornstars series.

I was completely gutted when I started to read this book.

Gutted for I know that this story will end. I love Kirsty Pornstar series.

I cannot wait to read more.

Bradley Emerson is Decker's Woods best friend and Andi's cousin.

Whiska James is a pornstar.

Bradley has problems with sharing.

Whiska just wants to be more than a fling and a one night stand.

Can these two find true love with each other.

I was right. I was gutted when I finished reading all about Bradley's Cock Slapping Whistle.

I SO WANTED MORE COCK SLAPPING FUN.

It seems like forever since I read Decker's Wood and been waiting for Bradley's Whistle.

But the wait is over my friends - and the wait was well worth it!

Bradley Emerson - Emerson to everyone but his nearest and dearest - is Decker Steele's - the Decker from Decker's Wood - best friend and after having his heart shredded by the porn star he thought he loved, Leah, he has been getting his whistle wet when and where he wants.

"This man would no longer dream about porn stars; even the porn on my computer sat in an untouched folder that I practically hissed at it every time I booted the damn thing up.

This whistle was not whistling for porn stars ever again, nuh-uh, no way."

When Wiska James, along with Casey and Lionel (we met them in Decker's Wood) land on his doorstep in London, things get interesting

I adored Wiska from the minute she showed up on the page! Really, there is nothing not to adore. She is sweet, funny, a bit klutzy (like me!) and just the kind of girl any woman would want as a friend, and any guy would be lucky to have. I just wanted to know more about her, to bitch slap the people who hurt her, to hug it all out.

Bradley falls instantly in lust with Wiska - who wouldn't I ask you?? But as their story progressed, it was a joy to read along as they tripped and fell in love with each other. I LOVED that it was not an insta-love kind of relationship - I get the insta-lust, but am not a fan of insta-love relationships. He struggles with what is in his head and what is in his heart, and I just wanted to tell him to just do it!

"Come on, womb whistle. You really need to back the fuck off. I can't walk around the goddamn hospital with you trying to break out of your package."

There was no filter between Wiska's mouth and brain at times. She came out with some very random questions and theories at times!

And then there is Casey - I love him and all his crazy! I would love nothing more than a Fancy Dress Friday with him and Lionel. He is zany and weird, protective and loving. The kind of friend we all need in our lives. As nutso as he is, he and Lionel are the calm in the storm for both Wiska and Bradley -

Bradley's Whistle is amazing. I could not put it down once I started, and even though I only finished it last night, I am already impatiently waiting the next in the series, Leah's Who-Ha!

It pains me, honestly pains me, to say this but I think I love Bradley more than Decker...and that's not something I thought possible. Decker's Wood was one of my favorite books from last year, and I didn't think there was anyway his friend Bradley could pull my affections from him. But he did, in a spectacular fashion...I skipped right on over to E.

Bradley's Whistle is the second book in Kirsty Dallas Porn Star series, and like Decker's Wood it will keep you entertained from start to finish. Bradley, or Emerson as he prefers to be called, lives and works in the UK and has been roped by his bff Decker into being a safe haven for porn star Wiska James. She's laying low after a nasty scandal and everyone thought it would be best for her to leave the country...enter Bradley to the rescue.

This book had me at the airport, when Bradley gets his first glimpse of Wiska. "Wiska, it sounded like the kind of name you would breathe while licking every inch of her body." But not only does he have Wiska to contend with, Casey and Lionel, "Andi's loud and proud gay neighbors", have come along as her traveling companions, to see that she arrived safely and to help her get settled...much to Bradley's surprise. "I knew them well enough to know that Decker was going down, and for once, not in a good way."

Bradley's Whistle is easily going to be one of my favorites of 2015, I enjoyed it so much. It's the perfect combination of funny and sweet, with plenty of romance and sexiness. Bradley is brooding and intense, and completely swoon-worthy, "He was far too delicious and had that seductive look about him. I was pretty sure he could talk a nun right out of her panties." Wiska is funny and quirky, she's naive and just a little bit wacky, "Why can't you tickle yourself?" I adored these 2 together, they were like the missing half to each other's puzzle.

From lust to love, and everything in between, I couldn't get enough of this book. It's full of laugh-out-loud moments, sweet tender moments, and a few moments that caused me to shake my head. And every single one of those moments couldn't have been written any better. Kirsty did such an amazing job giving life to these characters, some of my favorites in any book I've read. I'm not much of a rereader, but this one, yep, I'll be rereading this one again very soon.

I absolutely love it when I’m reading a book then a laugh sneaks up & escapes me in the most un-ladylike way!

Admittedly, some of my giggles & snorts during my read of Bradley’s Whistle could be construed as juvenile because of phrases like ‘slut-nugget’ and ‘I’m a cock-muppet!’ which had me hooting with laughter at 1:30am! You had to be there! (So you totally should #1ClickThatBitch)

Oh! And I was so very excited to see the return of favourite characters from Decker’s Wood, Book #1 in The Pornstars of Romance series. Much hilarity ensued because of these endearing gentlemen when combined with the sweet & sassy Wiska, and the brooding, reluctant Bradley.

I’m an avid fan of Kirsty Dallas, the woman and her writing, and Bradley’s Whistle was as amazing as I expected. More so! Brilliant comedy romance, incredibly witty, sexy and full of fabulous!

Also, I’d like it noted that I am now a massive fan of Woo-By-Post-it-Note. #PostItWoos

This book was cute! Three ⭐️⭐️⭐️.
However that is about it. It started off pretty good and was kind of funny, but then it dragged. It took me three days to read because o had no problem putting it down to do other things. While that helps me be more productive, I generally look for books that are hard to put down!
The story here was very light and pretty predictable. I had a hard time warming up to Wiska ( hard to picture a woman named after a popular cat food!). I also hated that when things got hard she jumped to conclusions and ran. Made her a bit lame for me.
I liked the first book I this series much more than this one. This seemed a bit like filler to me but that often happens with the sequel. A cute read but that's about it.

It's funny the preconceived notions you have walking into a book that you don't even realise you have until the author challenges you to dissect it, you see I'm not afraid to admit it, I'm somewhat of a walking information bank when it comes to the porn industry...before you ask... no...not through personal experience, but because I watch it...ummm...more than I probably should, I have girlcrushes on Kayden Kross and Stoya, I am intrigued by the fastest growing viewership of porn...women, because stereotypes are a tricky thing, male stars like our very own Decker Steele are revered but even when we don't want to admit it we as women question how could she do it, how could someone possibly use their bodies like that, how could she find someone to love her after it, and what I loved so much about Kirsty Dallas is that she went there, she took this girl next door and was able to explore the dichotomy of a porn star and a girl searching for her fairy tale, because at the heart of this story stands Whiska, a women desperate for a second chance at love, a girl who may not have ever imagined she'd end up in adult films but doesn't regret it for a moment, she's a woman who is the epitome of the kind of strong, resourceful, resilient women most of us aspire to... one that doesn't live her life with regrets, one that has the strength and humility to look at her life and be okay with the choices she's made, she can reconcile her past with her present and can now look toward her future.

Bradley is an enigma...what does he do for a living, that's like the Chandler from Friends joke, no one really knows but he seems to be quite successful at it, he's sexy, smart and charming...quite a lethal combination, most men might think having a porn star as a lover is like winning the lottery but Bradley knows better, with his ex Leah, he had plans of a future, her retirement and their possibly happy ever after, but it wasn't meant to be, you know the saying once bitten, twice shy...Bradley understands it all too well, dating a porn star failed miserably, and he won't make that mistake again. Until Whiska waltzes into his life and suddenly staying away seems harder than he thought.

On paper these two couldn't be more wrong for each other, but when strangers become friends and friends become more how do you reconcile what you've told yourself can't happen with what you are coming to desperately want?

There's a innocence in Whiska that was endearing, she's world weary and jaded and yet her innocence and belief in other people is what shines through, Whiska truly was the hero of this story for me, her ability to dust herself and pick herself up time after time made me want to be her best friend and hug her silly, she's fierce and yet fragile and utterly breathtaking to watch. Bradley seemed like the perfect gentleman in Decker's Wood but he's deliciously dirty and sexy as hell, he's confident, he carries himself with an air of arrogance at times which still belies this innate good guy vibe, he's a mess of contradictions that only make him harder to resist, and coupled with Whiska fun and flighty personality it was so very easy to get sucked into this book, to relish every moment and to be utterly invested in every little glance, every smile and every blush.

Dallas has an ability to effortlessly slide through genres and weaving magic with each, but The Pornstar's of Romance series cements her as an undeniable talent in the world of romantic comedy, every joke perfectly executed, every intimate moment sizzling with heat and chemistry forcing you to sit up and pay attention, lulling you in from the very first page and keeping you invested until the very last line, there's something undoubtedly special about Dallas's words, the worlds she creates, the characters she brings to life, always leave me sated and yet wanting, always desperately waiting for more.

We couldnt wait to dive into this book, after reading the hilarious Decker’s Wood we were left hanging to see what Decker’s best friend Bradley was all about. The snippets we had from him D.W. left us wanting to get to know Bradley.

Bradley Emerson left America to pursue a career in London. Putting some distance between his family and the sinister people he works for. Never imagining himself working for such sinister people, Bradley loves his job, his life, the freedom he has, even if it is funded by a crime lord. But when he receives a message from his best friend asking him to take in a friend for a few weeks, Bradley never imagined his life to be so turned upside down.

Whiska James has been through hell, the sweet and sassy porn star has been thrust into the paparazzis grips thanks to her ex boyfriend and she needs somewhere to recoup and relax. When Decker suggests that she travel to London and stay with his best friend Whiska agrees. Bringing along Casey and Lionel for moral support on her first international trip. We adored these two characters and were so happy they were apart of this book.

Bradley is shocked when he arrives at the airport and sees not one new arrive but three. These bigger than life personalities are sure to bring a whole new dynamic to Whiska’s trip and Bradley’s home.

"Bradley, I think we need to have a little talk about the birds and the bees,” Casey murmured. I took a drink from my beer and cast him a sideways glance. “Bit late for that. I’ve been poking birds with my stinger for a long time now. I think I have the basics down.”

The instant attraction both Bradley and Whiska share is comical and entertaining to watch. Their friendship quickly blossoms and both are besotted with one another. Under Bradley's brooding personality is a fun and romantic guy. He’s already been hurt by one porn star, he’s not sure if he can put himself through that again. But with Whiska’s personality and looks Bradley can’t resist.

Whiska isn’t anything like Bradley imagined, he needs to woo her to win her over. She won’t relent and make it easy for him, he has to work for what he wants and prove that he really is the right guy for her, she can’t get hurt again.

Gosh this book was HILARIOUS! So many times we laughed until we had tears. The one liners and banter between all the characters was so enjoyable to read. This is definitely in our ‘Pick Me Up' catagory, you know those books that will always make you feel content after you've read them. We can’t wait to see what’s next from Kirsty.

"I love you, you crazy bastard,” Lionel chuckled. “And I love you like a back alley hooker loves crack,” declared Casey.

Funny, romantic books? That's so my "thing". I love love love when I read a book with some sweet romance, some hot and sexy characters and yes a chuckle or two. Well, that's exactly what I got with Bradley's Whistle. It wasn't forced laughs that the author is forcing upon us, but a genuine, OMG, I just might pee my pants laugh! I read DECKER's Wood when it came out, well, because the title of the book just grabbed me. The author showed me that she could write a fresh story, with lovable character and make me laugh, so obviously, when Bradley's Whistle review became available, I jumped on it!

So we have Bradley, the secretive man who has sworn off love and especially, porn stars. He's recently been burned and is just not up for it. His best friend Decker asks him to take on a house guest who needs to leave the country. No back story as to why, but he asked. Bradley is a good guy and of course he says ok. What he doesn't know is that Wiska, a porn star, has gotten herself into quite a situation and needs to get our of NYC ASAP! He doesn't just get Wiska but he also gets Casey and Lionel. Andi and Decker's absolutely hysterical gay neighbors. They are just the funniest two neighbors, ever written! Wiska needs the support of Lionel and Casey when leaving NYC. She has decided to go on a vagina vacation. No men! She swore them off...forever. Well, Bradley isn't looking for love and Wiska isn't looking for love...with that combination in one apartment ...you are in for a great ride!

Bradley's first impression of Wiska
"Wiska, it sounded like the kind of name you would breathe while licking every inch of her body..Hell no!..."
You may think, a hot guy and a porn star is gonna be a crazy all-sex-all-the-time-sex book. Well, there is surely some hot and sexy in this book but honestly, the swoon worthy moments, the "awwww' moments are there and it's what I will remember most about this book. I absolutely loved the interaction between these characters, Wiska and Bradley and yes, I just loved Lionel and Casey. And maybe, just maybe, Kirsty will give us a book about them because holy hell that would be awesome! Another great book in this series! I am sure as you read your will fall in L-O-V-E! I am totally at the "E" by the end!

I enjoyed the first book in this series, so I was keen to see what the author had up her sleeve for this, the next instalment.
This is Bradley (AKA Emerson) and Wiska story and I have to say that despite the less than conventional introduction ( friends of a friend doing each other a favour and all that) and career path (Wiska is a porn star), they were characters that it was difficult not to fall for.
Previously they have both had relationship that have left them on the wrong side of cautions, so neither of them are looking for anything particularly but they cannot help but be attracted to each other. But is this an attraction that they can keep contained or will wanton lust win the day?
Secrets surround them both and I found myself hard pressed to understand why they were being so cagey but then again Bradley was a secretive soul anyway, nobody really knew what he was up to – hence the fact that he lived in London , keeping well away from his family.
But Wilka career meant that she was fodder for the tabloid journals and the paparazzi alike, she was hounded but a person can only take so much, her career was not what defined her, it was just a shame that the public had no idea what she was really like. She was full of ambition, full of ideas and I admired that about her, she wanted more than she already had.
But the key to finding a happy ever after is honesty and once they had worked that little chestnut out I was smiling from ear to ear because it gave them a real shot at having a proper relationship.
The story is funny, honestly I laughed so much, my sides were sore!
But over and above the humour the book was such a sweet read.
They were great together, they were considerate and affectionate, much as I would have expected. Their life wasn’t full to the brim of sexual exploits and they worked hard to find the find what worked for them.
I have to say though that while I loved some of the other characters in the book, like Casey and Lionel, I really didn’t like either Davina or Kasper – I could have easily wished a plague of locusts on them!!!

It's no secret that I've read every one of Kirsty Dallas books and have loved them all.... Bradley's Whistle is no different..... except I think it's now my favourite...... it's hysterical..... I made the mistake of reading it on the train during my trip home from work one night and started laughing out loud..... I just couldn't help it..... I had a few people give me funny looks... but I really didn't care.....
We meet Bradley Emerson, or as he prefers to be called Emerson, he is Decker's (from Deckers Wood) best friend and cousin of his girlfirend Andi. Bradley is a very mysterious person..... we spend most of the book wondering what the hell he actually does for a living..... is he a hitman... a navy seal..... a gigolo..... we have no idea.... but whatever it is he makes a shitload of money.......
Whiska is a porn star...... she is a beautiful sweet girl who's had a pretty tough life she goes to London with Casey & Lionel (they are also from Decker's Wood) to escape the pressures she's faced back home.... Decker and Andi arrange for her to stay with Bradley......
Will sparks fly??????
Will they hate each other???????
WTF does Bradley do for a job???????
What are Fancy Dress Friday's????????
All these questions and more will be answered is this light hearted funny read......
p,s. life just wouldn't be the same without a bit of "GLITTER"
POST IT NOTES.... I LOVE POST IT NOTES.........
This is a 4.5 Star read for me...

Way too many times I stopped to make a hi-lite, laugh, tell my husband whatever it was, (usually slapping of the Thor) and compose myself enough to read more
One word
incredible

What do I say about this book first? I cant stop laughing and then, my oh my it was smokin hot. Bradley Emerson did it for me! He was thrown into taking a girl, Wiska, in to shield her from the press. Bradley doesnt know what the reason is and it takes a long time to find out. So Wiska is an adorable character who has ADD. Another favorable addition to the book is Lionel and Casey. I know what you are thinking here cause I was screaming OMFG they are in London to guide Wiska. She has so many characteristic that I adored. First she is real and holds nothing back. If Wiska thinks it, she says it.

It is no secret I love the author, her little twitter ninja wont let her down here, so I am singing her praises again. It is not for the easily offended, so beware. My followers will gobble it up. It blend the exact amount of sex, intrigue, drama, tabloids and the gay guys.

There is nothing I think you should read next except this. If you have not read about Decker and his Wood, please do so. Every girl needs to follow this series. I spent a lot of time gathering my quotes and here they are. ENJOY my lovely Bradley.

Wiska is a gorgeous, clumsy, funny, silly, feisty and unique character. Bradley is a sexy stiff with a permanent scowl that finally lifts when Wiska enters his life. I loved how much these two fought their attraction to one another, but of course, they can't fight it forever, and when they come together?? Woah! It's off the charts sexy ... yet effortlessly sweet, too.

Bradley is so swoon-worthy! He's an incredibly romantic sweetheart that totally swept me off my feet (I'm definitely at 'E' with him and his post-its!).

"I've always been monogamous, Lenny, but I've rarely had a relationship to use it in."

"Fuck me, she was gorgeous. I wanted to sigh and point out the petite sized angel, letting everyone around me know that she was my girl ... but I had balls, big manly balls, so no sighing or screaming like a crazy, lovesick fool."

This story is full of fun and laughter and I'm glad Casey and Lionel were back again, too!

Bradley's Whistle is filled with as much charm and witty banter as Decker's Wood and I'm so glad that Kirsty decided to write another 'just because' book. I love her work and cannot wait for the next one in this series! 4.5 stars

This book was pretty good and extremely sweet. And I didn't get sick!
To tell the truth, I was skeptical in the beginning... and it took time to read. Then after a while it went quick fast, quite interesting.
Was it interesting in that sense? Not really, it was cute, sweet and meaningful with L-O-V-E.
It was L-O-V-E and not turning back.
Wiska was a girly girl, a great character, I haven't read any book with a girl like her.
Bradley, was a mystery, his character came to life, and a job not that mysterious or that thrilling, sound boring. But he would disagree.

If anyone felt like me in the beginning, don't give up, unless you don't laugh with the lads, what to start a fight with a girl or two, hater of note, don't like cute couples...

4.5 stars!!!
I'm a sucker for these kind of books and I couldn't wait for this one from Kirsty Dallas! I thought Decker's Wood was great and Bradley's Whistle did not disappoint.

I was in the mood for light, funny and just a great feel-good story. I got all of that and more. Bradley and Wiska were just what I needed. Hot, great chemistry, and so many laugh-out-loud moments. Had a total blast reading it and would highly recommend. I can't wait for the next book in the series. Bradley's Whistle can be read as a stand-alone, which makes it a perfect summer read!

Thanks to Kirsty Dallas for writing such a fun story and for giving us Bradley and Wiska!! So great!!

Bradley and Wiska. Humorous, sweet story. Editing is slightly improved from Book 1. Bradley and Wiska have warm chemistry, but neither character is overly enthralling. The plot stalls in the middle, so I skimmed in sections. The secrecy of Bradley's job didn't play out for me. The post-it notes and the interactions with Lionel and Casey steal the limelight. Overall okay.
C+, re-read 2/5

I love this Pornstars of Romance series. It's funny, witty, gripping, romantic, and a total must read. Bradley and Whiska's relationship is anything but simple. They each have their own baggage and the way they try to fight their attraction to one another is very humorous. This story is full of humour, sexual innuendoes and believe it or not is quite romantic and very sexy.

Bradley's Whistle by Kirsty Dallas
I looked SO forward to this book. I loved Decker's Wood so, so, so much. I re-read it recently in anticipation of this release. I was stoked. I wish I could say it lived up to my expectations, but it just didn't.
Honestly, for a very great majority of the book I found both our main characters barely likable. Bradley's moody, Wiska's flighty and we really don't get any real glimpses at Decker & Andi.
The premise seems great. Bradley is an accountant of sorts just this side of legal, Wiska is a porn star. Except even by the end of the book, I still don't quite get Bradley's dealings and somehow Wiska is the most innocent porn star in history.
They do have some fun banter and they have this whole flirt-by-post-it-note thing going on that is adorable. But I just didn't really like either of them very much. Add to that a pretty serious lack of editing and I just couldn't get into it.
It took me 3 days to finish this one, which is like 2 months in regular-people time. I just didn't look forward to picking it up again. Read Decker's Wood, but skip this one.

*** Gifted in exchange for an honest review ***

I loved Deckers Wood (he sits proudly on my signed bookshelf)

So I looked forward to reading Book 2 about Bradley Emerson who is Deckers Best friend.

Don't get the wrong impression about this series - its not a expose on the porn business, but rather sweet funny romances that happen to have porn stars as characters.

Bradley was a bit of a slow burner for me, it took a while for him to redeem himself to me after his first impressions towards the lovely Wiska.

Now Wiska - oh she was such a sweetie, an innocent (innocent towards the slease balls who lie they are married, just because she works in the Porn industry, doesn't mean she's not sweet hearted) who has to escape NY after the lowlife she'd been dating chucked her to the sharks of the media after he was caught cheating on his wife, Wiska had no idea he was married... in fact he didn't know how much of a sleaze ball he really was, but he gets his comeuppance eventually (I cheered for Wiska when that happened).
So Bradley ends up paying back the favour he owes Decker by agreeing to put up Wiska in his apartment in London.

But there are 2 extra guests who arrive, and cue the fun begins:

I adored Casey and Lionel the gay couple who first appeared in Deckers wood, they are the best GBFF's you would ever want, loyal and always there to pick you up when you are down.
I want Fancy Dress Fridays!

As Wiska slowly gets over the humiliation from NY Bradley tries not to allow the attraction he feels for Wiska to affect him, hes had his heart broken by Leah, one of Wiskas co stars.

But Fate has other ideas for Bradley and Wiska... will Fate give the pair their HEA?

Read on and find out.

PS Kirsty I bet you had fun researching this series.
