My name is Rob Winters, aka, Jackass. Even to my closest friends.

I wasn’t always so arrogant and condescending. It only took one night to change me—one point twenty-seven seconds, to be exact.

When tragedy struck, I promised myself, no matter what, unbreakable chains would lock my heart. If one veers too close or digs too deep, the cruel and mean bastard many hate is unleashed. My plan has succeeded for the past seven years. I’ve driven away a girlfriend and killed a few friendships along the way.

Then, just when the chains loosen around my heart, she walks into my life—or worse, the room next door. She strolls into my house with her bouncy brown curls and banging body, slithering herself through the smallest opening and making me crave the one thing I’ve denied myself these past years.

Her smell, her eyes, and her caring nature are everything I’m not worthy of enjoying. How long do I have to struggle with the demons that haunt me every night before the torture ends? Forever, I remind myself, but the links protecting my heart break each time Paige Kensington enters the room.

FAVOURITE QUOTE:
“Her nose sniffs me like a dog to its owner and I wish having her in my arms didn’t remind me of all those good times. Didn’t force memories of her body in my hands and her hair tickling my skin. The harder I try to forget, the more recollections occur.”

About 91% into their story.
The hero's thoughts.
About the other woman.
His first love.
Who he has struggled to move on from.
For the past SEVEN years.

2ND FAVOURITE QUOTE:
“...you’ve haunted my memory for a long time, but it’s time I move forward . . . with Paige(heroine).” I tighten my hands on top of hers.
“Walk me to my car.” She’s (the other woman)ignored my whole spiel, but I stand up and offer my hand. We exit the park hand in hand to the cars. The moon shines down on the gravel path with trees on either side of us. This is our spot, the one we snuck off to for quickies and to escape our worries.”

Of all the characters in The Invisibles, Rob Winters has always been the mysterious guy in the background and because of that, I was super excited when I saw his story was going to be told!!!

He's living with a mistake he made years ago and no matter how hard he tries to forget, forgive and move on, it hangs onto him. One of the few things that numbs the pain of it is losing himself in faceless woman but that is about to change with the entrance of his new roommate, Paige.

All Paige wants to do is go to college and live life to the fullest yet, no matter how hard she tries, her mother is there to remind her that may never truly happen. The moment I started reading about Paige I knew 1) she was hiding something (aren't we all!); 2) she put everyone else above her; and 3) I wanted to have someone like her in my life, because she was so down to earth, with a bit of sass and sarcasm!

The banter between Rob and Paige was hilarious yet extremely HOT because Rob saw the real Paige just like Paige saw the real Rob! My heart went out to both of them because they had shitty pasts, yet the determination they each had to keep moving was amazing.

There wasn't a dull moment in their story because just when you thought, ‘this is it’, then BAM! Something or someone came rolling in, wanting to see them suffer. Can Rob ever forgive himself? Can he and Paige find their HEA? There is so much to their story and I. Freaking. Loved. It. All!!! Awesome Series!! ~ Kara, 5 stars

Some reviewers felt like the H did not fall for the h quickly enough, and had feelings for OW at the same time. Yes and no. I never felt the h came in second. I felt like the H struggled with his past. Not because he felt like he still loves the OW, but because he felt abandoned and he felt like a killer.

This was one of the best h's I've read in a bit. She had her own issues but felt such a connection that she couldn't let go.

The push pull here is intense. If that's not for you, then this isn't the book for you. (Push-pull up until the 57% mark.)

There were grammar errors and wtf word combos, but at times the writing flowed so well I couldn't stop reading. Reading a story with lots of no-no's for me. That says a lot about any book I read. When that happens, when I find a book where the writing and subplot engages me enough I'll read a romantic plot I dislike, I'm always good with it in the end.

Was it stellar. No. Was it one of the best push-pull I've read? Top 10. Would I recommend it? Yes.

I am sad to see this series end. I have grown to love men and woman of The Invisibles. Rob has never been one of my favorite characters. If I were to be honest, he was my least favorite. He had a foul attitude and a boulder on his shoulder. I won’t even say chip. His negative attitude and the way be mistreated people was draining at times. BUT. And I say a HUGE BUT…… he was able to steal my heart in Let Me Go.

Rob deflects his real feelings with his flirtatious and crude manors. Deep down, there is a nice guy, you just have to peel the layers back to reveal it. Rob has been scorned by someone who he once loved. Someone he expected to spend the rest of his life loving. One tragic event, changed the path that Rob had planned for his life. When left to deal with the situation, Rob crumbled with the pressure. Rob could no longer live the life he wanted, rather he sort of created a façade for himself. He didn’t want people to see the true person he was. He wasn’t going to open himself to anyone to be hurt in the long run. Why should he?

Things begin to change for Rob when the new roommate moves in. He is drawn to her. He wants to get to know her. When Paige makes it clear from the very beginning she wouldn’t sleep with him that only encouraged him to want to know her more. There was something about her. He craved to be around her. She made him want to be a better person. Could Rob change for someone? Could Rob leave the demons of his past behind him? Could Rob learn to trust again?

Paige has trust issues of her own. Paige is dealing with things that she doesn’t want anyone to know. She wants her roommates to like her for who she is, not who she knows. She has always struggled with being someone’s number one. She has always been the runner up. Will Paige give in to Rob’s persuasive ways? Will Paige trust Rob enough to open up to him? Can Paige allow herself to be someone’s number one, even if it means, Rob’s number one?

Rob and Paige both have issues that they need to deal with. But I think they both need to deal with their past before they can move on with a future together. Can the two of them let it go? Can the two of them make a go at a relationship together? What does the future hold for the two of them?

What a great way to end the series. We have seen all of the characters come full circle in their lives. Some had more struggles than others, but they all managed to come out on top and get a happily ever after...

Let Me Go by Michelle Lynn

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

HOLY CRAP!! I can’t believe this!! Michelle made me LIKE ROB!! Yes folks I. LIKE. HIM!! I was totally #TeamGrantandJessa so I hated hated hated Rob. He was a mega DB and player who only cared about who was making happy time in his bed. He really didn’t care about anyone. In Dex and Chrissy’s book we saw a little bit of a different side of him. BUT the hater in me still hated. YUP I was still #TeamIHateRobForever. However, after this book…..well I resigned my post at the “I Hate Rob” Fan Club because I just can’t hate him. ANNND….sweet baby Jesus, I *GASP* LIKE him. Now I am sure Michelle is prolly gonna faint right now to read that because I have been the president of the I Hate Rob Fan Club since I read book one of this series. SO You are prolly asking yourself what the heck happened to change my mind??? WELLLLLL….here goes.....

Rob is actually a sweet guy. We caught glimpses of this in Dex’s book but I still thought it was a fluke. In his book we get to see why he is so messed up and we get to understand why he was sooooo awful to Jessa, which helped to get her to my FAVORITE Invisible Rocker, Grant. WE learn about his sad past and why he is soo messed up. He has a lot of fear and his heart was shattered by the love of his life so he is just gonna turn that off. He will not let it happen again. Then Jessa comes along and begins to break down his wall but she has her own issues and so this furthers his WALLLLLLS…….

Paige is an awesome girl. She is the girl everyone can count on and everyone does. She has to pick up the pieces of her hawt mess of a mom and raise her younger brother. She has a famous dad whom she keeps a secret because the minute people find out, she loses that “real friend” for a famous groupie friend. Paige and Rob have this instant chemistry based on their banter and love to tease. The chemistry is very thick and they just push each other away. She doesn’t wanna be with a player and he knows Chrissy has put Paige on the DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT List for Rob.

The two form this amazing friendship because that is what Paige tells Rob they will only ever be is FRIENDS buuuuut soon she is regretting the decision and calling him out of stuff. NOONE EVER CALLS HIM OUT and so he respects her even more for it. I just remember thinking the whole time they had a miscommunication how impressed I was when the other was right there to fix it. Once they realize these feelings were not going away and they gave in to it….it was on 120%.

My favorite scene is when Rob lets Paige listen to a song…OMG the butterflies and the pitter patter of my heart. But what I loved was when Rob owns his feelings for Paige. He is so scared but he puts it out there for her not knowing how she will respond. I was kinda cheering for him at that point……..
The couple have some past demons they need to deal with the ensure their HEA but I loved the book and how each is able to deal and move forward……

Even bad boys need their happy endings, and Michelle Lynn made sure Rob Winters got it in this wonderful love story that will make and break hearts.

Everyone who has read this series knew who Rob Winters is. I hated him until book number 4. He was an a**, sometimes I wished him ill, and he really didn’t deserve a happy ending, until Chrissy’s story, where he did something that no one had expect him to do.

Is he set to redeem himself in front of the reader’s eyes? Or will he continue to build all those walls around him and continue to act like he doesn’t care about anyone?

It was a tragedy that made him close off himself to the people around him, a heartbreaking, life-changing accident that had broken relationships he valued along the way. It has been seven years, and so far, he had distanced himself from people by being rude, mean, douche and again, an a**. But what people don’t know, even his friends are the anguish that has been eating him. Can he ever move on?

Then here comes the new roommate who caught his attention the moment she walked into his life. Paige had been a breath of fresh air with an ounce of sunshine. But she doesn’t take any sh** from anyone even if it’s from the hottest guy he had ever laid her eyes on. She knows her worth, and she wasn’t going to settle for less. She had seen what loving someone who doesn’t reciprocate the love can do to oneself. I love her sense of responsibility, the way she takes care of things even if she wasn’t the one who should be doing it. She saw through him, and she will do anything to unleash the guy she saw in him. It’s not going to be easy, but if there’s someone who can do it, it was her. Just like the rest of the girls in this series, she’s easily likable.

You can’t help but swoon and pin over the characters in this series, I was glad to see the rest of the group living up their HEA, all the surprising scenes, those heart-stopping twists and turns that will make you see the characters in different lights.

I have never, ever thought Michelle Lynn would teach me to love this bad boy. It was slow, deliberate and she made sure once you fell in love with this guy, he’s going to stay in your hearts forever.

I love this series, and even loved it more when this bad boy got himself redeemed. This one is another must-read from this author! Never miss a book from this series!

Honestly cannot say enough about this author !! She has become one that anytime I see her name in email I am signing on for her and loving the story, be it part of this series or not !! Ironically my first Michelle Lynn book I got for free on kindle , the Basso Brothers.....such a great read. I have been sucked in and fallen in love with her characters ever since. As always with series like this I enjoy seeing how the past characters are and how certain aspects of their stories have allowed for new stories. There is just enough heat and drama to keep you hooked and I had no problem burning through this in a matter of hours !! Love me some music lovers and of course I was thrilled to have more Rob and finally see the REAL ROB. He is amazing and so much more than we may have thought.

With all his bandmates/friends falling in love , getting married and raising kids Rob is kind of on his own. He is now living with Dex and Chrissy across the street from Brady and Sadie. He is doing well but still questioning many things in his life and still harboring a huge amount of guilt for past decisions. Love does not play a part in his life , we already saw how destructive he was with Jessa , but also knowing since this is his book there may actually be someone out there for him. Like maybe Paige ?? Paige has just moved in ,she is a friend of Chrissy's and totally off limits for Rob !! The sexual tension and inner monologue is great !! Rob tries his cocky approach and then actually does a really good job at this good friend thing. I adored their relationship and I adored Rob's desire to help with Matty and the ease in which he was able to be a great guy and finally work for something to make himself happy. Paige has many hurdles to overcome with her family. She has yet to live a normal life and she is 22. Famous dad , selfish mother and an adorable little brother that tends to make it all better. When her world begins to fall apart you will be surprised who is there to help pick up the pieces. Rob has demons of his own to work on. The past that haunts him is not something he likes to think about , I love how Paige demands the honesty from him and he delivers. Seriously as I said he is just AMAZING in this book !! Although they are finally able to be honest with each other their pasts get the better of them and it has them questioning everything. Can they face their struggles together or is this something they need to do on their own ??

I just can't believe how amazing Rob is. He really comes out on top in this story. I think he is my fave !! The cover model worked wonders for visuals as well !!

I have been a fan of this series from the beginning.I loved all the characters, but I was hoping to know more about Rob and I am so glad we got his story!! He always had me wondering why he was such an ass at times, so I knew there was something there for us to find out. We started to see the nicer side of him in Chrissy and Dex's story. Let me tell you, Michelle did not disappoint!

Paige is someone who moves into the house with Rob, Chrissy and Dex and from the beginning there is an attraction between her and Rob. It was great seeing them have their little playful banter back and forth, but what was even better was the friendship they were building. They both have trust issues stemming from the past and we learn more about what happened to them.

As always, it was great catching up with the rest of the crew and seeing them all be there for Rob and Paige. Throughout the whole story I wanted to give them both hugs. He was dealing with the pain from his past, she was dealing with her own issues while taking care of her younger brother.

This was an amazing story. This is a story about knowing your worth, forgiveness, finding love where you least expect. It had everything!

Michelle did a great job and I will be sad to see this series end. It has been one of my faves. Do yourself a favor and read this. You will love it!

Brilliant series, you will not be disappointed

As i expected, this book is another brilliant story. No one is all bad and there is always a reason why people behave the way they do even if we don't understand it we shouldn't be too quick to judge. All Rob needed was to find the right person to tap into all the those emotions he locked away so tightly that it has kept him from really living him life to the fullest. There are so many people going around like that and only if they could find that person to unlock them. Rob and Paige was that person for each and it wasn't smooth sailing but they succeeded in the end, with the help of wonderful friends. The whole series is beautiful. Lots suspense that keeps the stories interesting and intriguing. I also love the romantic parts and the detail sex scenes, I love a steamy read with brilliant characters a good story line and lots of drama any day and I happy. I bought Love me Always and I hope it close of the series with a bang bt if not I'm still happy the the ending so far.

I really liked this book. Rob and Paige were a good ending to my binge read of this series. This story takes you on a merry ride of emotions. It continues to reveal all as we go down its journey. You get spicy and mystery in this read. I loved that the other characters from this series were a part of this book. My only critique is I wish we would have had more of Paige and her dad. I wanted him to be more redeeming. Ugh unfortunately it was probably more accurate in how the story was told but it made me sad. Her mom was a piece of work too. Rob definitely gets rid of his devil horns in this telling and really steps up to Hero status. As you learn his history well everything becomes clear. Happy Reading!

Omg...omg! Where are my words right now? What a way to finish a series before the wedding of Sadie and Brady! I think I have found my favourite Invincible after all. Rob has tugged the most at my heart strings. Finally those damn walls came down and the real Rob came back. To be quiet honest, out of all the Invincible men, Rob, comes the closest to my husband, and maybe a little bit of Trey is in him too. 😁
Loving Michelle Lynn's writing, can't wait to read the last book in this series and many more of her other books, keep doing what you are doing Michelle, you are truly gifted! 😊👍

★✩★✩★ 5 – In Desperate Need of Healing – Stars
~this review may contain minor spoilers~

“Guy's like you don't change. Do me a favor and ignore me. Don't knock on my door, don't say good morning, and if I'm in the living room just keep walking.”
“If I'd known you wanted to fuck me, Paige, I would have arranged it.”
“Fuck you, Rob. It wasn't about fucking you, it was about friendship, but you are incapable of anyone knowing the true you.”

Ron Winters is an asshole, to everyone – he's an equal opportunity jackass and he doesn't even try to deny it, or hide it. He has his reasons though, reasons very few people know about, reasons that won't allow him to open his heart to anyone ever again and the asshole exterior is his way of guaranteeing that. Being in a band is a great way of making sure he always gets laid, but that's all any woman will ever get from him – and he's perfectly fine with that. No, he's not exactly happy, but he's just fine with his life the way it is... til she moves in.

Paige Kensington has demons of her own. Her upbringing hasn't exactly been a shining example of love and it has caused more than a few trust issues. That doesn't mean that she doesn't wish she could find someone to love her for her, but it doesn't seem likely. From the minute she meets Rob, one of her new roommates, the chemistry between them burns red hot. But she recognizes a damaged soul when she sees one and knows nothing but heartbreak would follow if she were to get involved with him.

Staying away from each other proves harder than they ever could have thought and for the first time in years Rob finds himself wishing he could be a different man, he just doesn't know how. Could these two be just what the other needs, or will they end up causing more pain than either one of them can handle? And what happens when Rob's ghosts come slamming into his present – did they ever really stand a chance?

Our bodies are molded together and as much as I don't want to let her go, I do. She flips around and immediate hurt reflects back to me. That beaming face is now laced with confusion. When her hand reaches out for me, I step back. I can't idly stand around, waiting for her to crush my heart.

That. Was. Exhausting! Messy, tear-filled, drama-packed, angst-fueled, frustrating as hell... you get the picture. But damn me if I didn't love every freakin minute of it. This is the first book I have read in the series (Ms. Michelle just recently came into my life with 'Love Surfaced') but it read as a stand-alone and I never suffered any confusion as to what was going on. That doesn't mean that I won't be One-Clicking the hell out of the rest of these books – I fell in love with each and every one of these people and am now desperate for their stories, anxious to see how they got to where they are now. But back to Rob & Paige – these two stole my heart even as they were breaking it. I would definitely classify this as a slow-burn romance, it takes a damn long time – a lot of frustration and tears – for Rob to pull his head outta his ass. I got it, he has issues for some damn good reasons, still... I wanted to beat his ass on more than a few occasions. Of course, I wanted to kiss him and lick him all better when I was done, but that's besides the point. There is no denying the connection these two form which just made their whole situation that much more heartbreaking, but I have always been a believer in the whole 'make em work for it' romances. The ultimate prize just seems sooo much sweeter when it's not just handed to them. And lets not forget the sexy scenes – Smokin!! When you try to fight off the kinda lust that burns between these two for as long as they do, when the spark FINALLY ignites it's explosive and just damn hott. From start to finish their journey had me wrapped around it's finger and every tear, every scream, every blush, sign, and frustrated huff, was totally worth the exhaustion. If Michelle Lynn wasn't already sitting pretty on my One-Click-Addiction List than this one would have definitely put her there and I am more than ready to see what she brings us next.

“This is the first time I want to heal and be real, bit I'm positive I'll fuck this up.”
“What do you need from me?”
“I need patience.”
“You have it. I have my own problems, Rob. So, all I ask is the same from you.”
“New ground for both of us then?”

Rob's book is the one I've been waiting for because I wanted to see how Michelle Lynn redeemed him...he's garnered a lot of reader hate for his actions throughout the series, but in Can't Let Go, we start to see a chink in his asshole armor...it's not much, but it's still there in his interactions with Chrissy, and Michelle continues to unearth Rob's true nature - the man behind the defense mechanisms...behind the persona of asshole manwhore that he's perfected. And this unveiling comes at the hands of Rob's newly acquired roommate, Paige.

Paige is an amazing heroine who also has scars but pushes forward because she knows she has to for herself and her brother. She's extremely perceptive, and she sees the layers that are underneath Rob's facade from the very start. Paige has never felt important to anyone in her life...she's never felt like they would choose her above everyone and everything and that keeps Paige guarded and unable to trust easily. She's drawn to Rob, but the hot and cold game he plays with her is not one she wants to be a part of because there's too much going on in her life to get caught up in someone else's drama, especially one who refuses to let her in. But regardless of how much her head tells her to stay away and stop trying to break through, Paige's heart can't deny the connection it feels to Rob and the desire to help him be the caring and compassionate man she sees when Rob lets his mask down.

The title of Rob and Paige's story, Let Me Go, connotes many ideas for both of their lives. For Rob, he wants to be freed from his past...from the heartache...he wants to let go of his facade, but he's afraid to get hurt again...afraid to let someone else in only to find he's incapable of truly loving someone. For Paige, she wants to let go of her trust issues...of the feelings that people want to be a part of her life for who she knows and what she can provide for them, but it's easier said than done when that's all she's ever known.

Despite their respective fears, both Rob and Paige step up in monumental ways once they decide they're both in, and it's amazing to watch Rob's transformation. Rob simply needed someone to truly see him, and Paige is that person, and thankfully, Rob sees Paige for Paige and wants to own every part of her, which is what she's wanted her entire life.

Michelle Lynn's The Invisibles series is one of my favorite new adult series. There's a great mix of angst, heartache, romance, and sacrifice - all the components that make a story must read. All of the main characters throughout the series have their own unique personalities so no story is the same and the fact that the group is so close only adds to the appeal of the series because readers get to see how past couples are doing and witness them grow as the series continues.

I hate to say goodbye to The Invisibles crew, but I can't wait to see what's up next for Michelle Lynn and her readers!

Review originally posted at Ramblings From This Chick

Let Me Go is the fifth book in Michelle Lynn's The Invisibles Series, and centers around Rob and Paige. Each book can be read as a standalone, but I would suggest reading these in order if you can for full enjoyment. I really like the characters in this series. They aren't perfect, but they are so real and I like that it is easy to relate to them. They each make mistakes, but it is their flaws that make them who they are.

Rob Winters is the bad boy of the group, and even his friends know that he can be a real jerk. But he acts the way he does for a reason, and he keeps others at arms length to protect himself from ever experiencing hurt like he did in his past. When his friends and roommates get a new roommate, his friend Chrissy makes him promise to stay away from her. But Rob can't stop the flirting he is known for, especially with how attracted to Paige he is. Paige has her own issues and knows that the last thing she needs is to hook up with her roommate, even if she wants him. But when Paige and Rob start to get closer, they find it harder to fight the attraction between them. Can Paige and Rob find a way to help each other and explore the connection between them, or will there be too many obstacles in their way?

I felt for both Rob and Paige. They were both struggling with so much, and it was clear that they didn't allow others in easily. Paige and Rob both had trust issues, which made them both extremely wary of getting involved with others. Rob had been hurt and left when he needed someone the most, and that altered his entire life. He was so lost, and it wasn't until Paige that he really started to change again. I was glad that Paige didn't let him push her away and get away with everything he tried. He needed someone like her to fight for him, and I liked seeing that side of her. Because of Paige's parents and life growing up not only did she have trust issues, but she was particularly biased when it came to musicians. But Rob showed her that he could be there for her, and it was good to see him support her when she really needed someone. These two connected on a level that they never had with anyone else, and the chemistry between them was really strong. I thought that they made a great couple, and they were hot together!

Overall, this was a really good story and I liked Rob and Paige a lot. They were flawed and had issues, but they found strength in each other and it was good to see them learn to rely on someone else. I will say that the beginning of this story was very hard for me to get into for some reason. It was kind of slow and I found myself struggling to get invested in these characters, but once I did I really liked this book a lot! I would recommend this book to NA fans, especially if you are a Michelle Lynn fan. This book ended up being one of my favorites of hers and I am so glad that I stuck with it. I look forward to reading more from her.

I must admit, I have never been a fan of Rob, but was excited to read his story and see why Rob is the way he is. Michelle Lynn did an amazing job of getting me to love the man I despised throughout this entire series!

Rob is instantly attracted to his new roommate Paige, but has promised Chrissy and Dex (but really Chrissy) that he would not try anything with her. Rob goes hot and cold with Paige, flirty to indifferent, friend to wanting more, speaking to not speaking. Its like whip lash most of the time with Rob and Paige, and I really felt bad for Paige while Rob worked on figuring out his crap.

We learn throughout this book the demons Rob has been fighting and why he is the way he is, and we get to watch him grow and start to move forward, which was amazing to not see the jerk we're so used to (he did come back every once and a while, so don't worry). We also learn that Paige is also dealing with her own demons, and is hesitant on acting on her attraction to Rob because of the things in her past.

I loved watching these two build a friendship, and even though they really did make each other mad on multiple occasions, watching them work through their feelings and building a strong friendship was beautiful. Who would have thought Rob Winters has a heart under all that hard exterior he likes everyone to see?

The chemistry and attraction between Paige and Rob is undeniable, its there and it's hot, but seeing them not act on this and actually getting to know each other as friends is what I think made things even hotter once they got together. Rob is actually kind of funny and his flirty banter with Paige had me laughing multiple times during this book. I also think that Paige selected some of her PJ bottoms just to get a rise out of Rob and see what he would say.

Learning about both of these characters pasts was so sad. I wanted to cry for them, and I wanted to slap the people in their lives during that time. Together these two finally start to open up and move into more of a relationship, and help each other fight their demons, even if at times during this book they didn't know the others past.

Seeing the other characters from the series in this book was awesome. Seeing Rob make peace with some of the people he's hurt throughout the series, and seeing how much all of these characters have grown since we met them. I absolutely adore this series, and am sad to see it end. As much as I didn't want to read Rob's story because I didn't think that Michelle could get us to love him or even like him, I am glad I did because his story is beautiful and is even though I remember all the things this character has done throughout the series, I can accept that he has changed and to see this made me move him from the "hated characters" list to "wow he's not so bad".

This series is one of my favorite series and Rob's story is beautiful. If you haven't read this series, go grab it today, it's perfect for the summer to relax and fall in love with all the guys of The Invisibles and the girls who captured their hearts.

✯✯5 Healing Stars!!✯✯

There is a reason why when people ask me who's books to read next, Michelle Lynn is ALWAYS in my top 5.. ALWAYS !!! I went from reading Don't Let Go book 1 in this series thinking Rob was an asshole. Then, came Let Me In and I hated him with a passion. I thought there was no hope for him. But, then Can't Let Go came and I started to see that maybe there was hope for Rob after all. Now!! Rob & Trey are my #1 guys of this series. Nobody but Michelle can do that.

Rob is known as the loser college dropout. He doesn't date. The closest was Jessa. But, she got too close that Rob couldn't handle it. Before he told her everything he backed away and did typical Rob. Hurt her and turned around and let Grant pick up the pieces. Rob will not let himself fall in love again just to get hurt.

Paige is moving again!! She's not planning on telling her new roommates who her dad is. Her whole life has been the same way. People use her to get close to her father. Her mother uses her for money and to have her raise her baby brother. Her father loves her unconditionally. But, she sees the way he is with women. And, how he'll never settle down with just one woman. Paige has never been anybody's #1. She hates her new roommate is Rob Winters, the guitarist from The Invisibles. Paige hates that she's attracted to him. Which is why the minute he flirts her walls go up and she lets him know now going to happen!!

Rob & Paige have such an instant hot connection. They're seriously hot. Even if it's just casual flirting over pajama bottoms. Hahaha seriously. They've both been hurt and have such a hard time at trusting other people. That they almost don't see what's right in front of their eyes.

Seeing the rest of The Invisibles gang is always awesome!! Paige fit in so well with everyone. I'm really sad it's ending bc I can keep reading their stories continue. Seeing Rob interact with everyone more then ever was really nice. Him & Trey are too funny together. The way he respects Brady was nice to see. Grant. Well, Rob, Grant & Jessa. Well, yea know ;)

At the end of the day Rob's past comes to his present. He must deal with it. And, decide how to move forward and how to heal himself in the process. Paige doesn't have it easy either. Her secrets come out. She's put in a hard spot. Between the 2 of them they have to decide how their future will go. And, are they strong enough to let love in.

I literally read this book in like 8hrs. I couldn't wait to start it. Then, was so upset when I finished it. It was nice to see Rob was as douche as he'd been the first 4 books. He totally redeemed himself times 100. He was caring and he wasn't proud of the things he'd done. Paige was strong and didn't deserve what she got. I got why she hid who she was. Together their a force to be reckoned with.

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.

I was never a big fan of Robs but I started to see a new side to him while reading my favorite guy Dex story and now Rob runs a close second to my Dex. Paige is witty and I loved the playful banter between Rob and her.

Paige is the forth roommate and Rob is told hands off but the question is can he keep his promise. Robs past keeps him from getting close to anyone and opening his heart to anyone. He sabotages every relationship he is in. Neither one wanted to cross the friend line the Paige decides it might be fun to blur the line.

Paige’s mother was a real piece of work and so is Pagie’s brothers father. On the other hand Pagie's dad was great although she tried to keep his identity a secret as long as she could. I loved when her dad met Rob it was the best. I absolutely loved that scene and I loved how every one reacted when they found out who her Dad was. The other thing I loved about Paige as much as Rob did was her pajama pants sayings.

I enjoyed seeing Rob in his element at the race track and getting to hear his back story. I never would have guessed that was his story behind why he love and leaves all the girls and why he treated Jessa the way he did. Then when we met who we do at the track I was floored just floored I could not believe it nor the story that went along with these people. Wow just wow!

Although I am sad to see this series end I am so glad I gave Rob a chance and opened up to him. He ended up being my second favorite character in this series and I absolutely loved Paige and little Matty. He was such an adorable little brother. This is one store where the author is able to take a character you despise in the beginning of a series and in the end can make him one of your favorites.

A few of my favorites:
If the new girl wasn't the hottest piece of ass I've seen in a long time, I would have high tailed it out of the driveway before she saw me. Shitty—yes. Truthful-—always.

"Forget this address. You should feel damn lucky you didn't barge in here when her other two roommates were here. They're crazy mother fuckers." He doesn't need to know Chrissy's all of five-four. Even though, I do imagine she can hold her own pretty well. Then I inch closer. "See, Paige is mine and I don't like it when people fuck with what's mine. I strongly suggest you don't come here again."

I’m happy just holding her. The smell of her, and the fact the minute I walk into the door and she’s there, my body calms and a peace comes over me that we’re together. If I’m somewhere and see something funny or crazy, she’s the first person I want to call and laugh with. She’s always first on my mind and right now she’s back at our apartment thinking she’s second best in my eyes.”

„She’s captured me and I don’t want to be thrown back.”

I would say I felt the same way about Let Me Go, as Rob about Paige. I’ve been waiting for Rob’s story for so long, and it did not disappoint! I am a bit sad that no more single Invisibles left, so it made my day, when I’ve seen that I don’t have to say goodbye to them yet, because we’ll get a novella, Love Me Always in the fall! Michelle, you rock!

I’ve read the whole book in one day, because I couldn’t put it down. I liked Rob and Paige, both of them had their hang-ups, but they were able to overcome their fears. Paige was down to earth, she had her issues, but never gave up on Rob.

„I’m not asking, Rob, I’m telling you. If you want me, take me home.”

Rob proved us that he has a lot more going on beneath his a**hole act. I fell in love with him. (It seems like I have a thing for bad boys, who have more going on under their facades.)

“Why can’t I allow her to believe in the false persona I mask for everyone else?”

The chemistry between them was intense, since the moment Paige moved in the house. I liked their innuendoes and flirting. And Paige’s pants are hilarious!

„Nice pants.” He laughs and I glance down realizing the ones I scrambled to toss on. Ugh, I need to upgrade my lounging wear from ’Bacon makes everything better’ pajama pants.
„It does.” I shrug, proud of them nonetheless.”

It was good to see the other Invisibles, too, reading about them I felt like I am part of their big, happy family. And my heart melted how easily Matty could become one of them, he was a total sweetheart!

If you’d like to read a great series, with love, humor and heartbreak, but most of all, go on a journey with the most imperfect perfect bunch of people, do not miss out on The Invisibles!

And never underestimate Rob:

„You’re mine.” …
„What?” I scrunch my eyebrows.
„My number one. Paige, you’re it.”

This story had me sucked in from the very beginning. The chemistry between Rob and Paige was so evident and extremely fun to watch unfold. They both have their own deep reasons why they can't do a romantic relationship but both can't deny to themselves what the other slowly becomes to mean to them. As they navigate around their growing friendship, you see them both struggle with their growing feelings for each other while fighting their own demons and insecurities. They both have issues that need to be addressed and even heal from, before they can finally start letting their walls down and let the other finally into their heart. I enjoyed catching up with the other couples and how they supported Rob and brought Paige so easily into their close knit group. The relationship Paige has with her little brother is sweet yet heartbreaking with all the drama Paige's mother pulls her into. I loved how Rob and Paige connected so quickly and could read each other so well and call out the other's BS. They truly are each others other half. We see a couple of surprises and twists that add to the hurdles for these two, but how they tackle them, support each other, and have each other's back through it all, is heartwarming and at times, tear inducing :) I loved this story, these two amazing characters, who wormed their way into my heart and cheered them on to finally be at peace and end up where they were meant to be...together. You do not have to read all the books in the series to enjoy the hell out of this book. This is a beautiful story about two amazing people who love fiercely and prove love conquers all :)

I loved Rob! From the beginning I knew therewas something that I loved about him and this story just proved that! Sure he comes across as a badass but everyone has a past and Paige was the girl to make him want to be better! The banter between these two characters was off the charts and I loved how Paige was there when Rob finally let down his guard. If you looking for feel good book with a HEA is book is for you! Cant wait to read the rest of the series!

This is book 5 in the Invisibles series.
I love this series and gave it 5 stars.

This is Rob's story.. There is so much more to this man then meets the eye. He has been through so much and has had so much tragedy n his life like no other. He can't seem to move on and forgive himself for it all. He moves on from girl to girl and tries to get lost in the mundane of it all. That is until Paige enters his life and from that moment on neither Rob or Paige are ever going to be the same. They both see each other for what they REALLY are, and sometimes that is harder to accept then someone seeing right through you and who you're pretending to be. There are ups and downs and in the end can they find their HEA? Or will they both be doomed to live the life they both have been living half way and full of so much sadness and heartache?

Thank you Michelle for reminding me why I fell in love with this series. I wasn't sure that I was going to love Rob's book cause lets just face it with all the walls he has up, he is not very loveable. But once you give his story and him a chance that all changes. I am a fan for life of your work! Thank you for showing me once again why. I cannot wait to read what you have coming up next. !
