Nonfiction, as per the blurb, "A collection of essays examines agricultural techniques designed to meet the needs of the people without depleting the land."

Though some of the facts are outdated [worse now], this is a compelling argument of how corporatizing is severally diminishing our well being, seen even better now in hindsight.
