"I love 'Queenie Baby' Diana Hudson – she's one part Stephanie Plum and one part rock goddess! I can't wait to see what she does next!"
- Gemma Halliday, New York Times bestselling author of the High Heels Mysteries

From author Christina A. Burke comes the third installment in her wacky, romantic comedy series about the misadventures of wannabe rock star, Diana Hudson...

For temp-turned-rock-star, Diana Hudson, touring with a Pirate Rock band has been a whirlwind. The Pirate-Heads' Bash in Key West is the last stop on their tour, and she's ready to hang up her sword and play house in Annapolis, Maryland with her uber-sexy boyfriend, Mark Greene. But her plans hit a sour note when Diana receives sinister scrapbook pages depicting her demise. A series of near-miss accidents and a meeting with an old enemy confirm she's on borrowed time. Hunted by a hitman known only as The Spider, Diana and Mark embark on a madcap adventure to outwit the unseen predator. Instead of rest and relaxation after the long tour, Diana finds herself battling pirates at sea, dodging explosions, and hiding out with The Grands. Will Diana uncover the identity of the hitman before he finds her? Or has she already been snared in The Spider's sinuous web?

The Queenie Baby books:
Queenie Baby: On Assignment (book #1)
Queenie Baby: Out of Office (book #2)
Queenie Baby: On Tour (book #3)
Queenie Baby: Pass the Eggnog (holiday novella)

What readers are saying about QUEENIE BABY:

"I <3 this book! What a fun light read! The supporting characters were hilarious and made me laugh out loud." ~ Goodreads Reviewer

"I laughed my ass off as the characters were introduced from the 'Free balling' granddaddy to the sister who supports but also nags the hell out of the main chica mixed in with rednecks and honestly its like being at home. Plus add a side of hotties and to me you have an awesome story." ~ Goodreads Reviewer

"This book has everything. Romance, comedy, bad guys. There was never a dull moment in this story. I could not stop laughing at some of the antics that took place. Definitely looking forward to the next book." ~Amazon Verified Review

Christina wrote her first novel, a time-travel romance, more than 20 years ago. Writing fell by the wayside as family and career obligations took over. She earned a Doctorate in Business Administration, taught for colleges, managed staffing agencies, and started several entrepreneurial ventures, until she found her way back to fiction writing through the unlikely avenue of metastatic breast cancer.

She believed laughter is the best medicine and hoped her readers found a cure for what ails them following the wacky antics of the characters she created. Sadly, Christina passed away in 2016 after losing her battle with cancer.

This third installment in the Queenie Baby series is just as funny as the first two. The Grands always crack me up and makes me feel like maybe my own family is normal compared to Diana's! Diana reminds me of Stephanie Plum but without the exploding cars! This is definitely a good romantic comedy with a smidge of mystery through in to round it out.

Funny! Exciting & great for a sunny day by the pool!
I received* this book as a gift. I've not read any of the other books in the series YET! but plan on it as soon as possible! I really enjoyed "Queenie Baby: On Tour" it was funny, suspenseful, had cute guys & a great plot! This book was able to be understood without having to have read the others in the series. You understood everything that was going on. I love the idea of a pirate band! Awesome! Adding in romance & intrigue just added to the fun of the book. Definitely read "Queenie Baby: On Tour"! I'd also recommend the first books of the series just because this one was so good!(I'm reading them now!) I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did!
*This book was given to me for an honest review which I have given to the best of my ability :-)

Okay not really sure what I just listened too. I want to say I enjoyed it as they are some funny situations but I kept waiting for the story to go somewhere and until the last half hour or so nothing really happened. Which is a shame because I liked the previous books, I think I preferred it when the character wasn't famous and on tour. There seems to be a lot of filling in that had nothing to do with the assassins trying to kill her. I liked the quirky characters, especially the grands but which there was more of an investigation. The idea was good multiple assassins working under the same name but it just didn't work For me sorry.
Diana has finally made it big, she has even got her own stalker. Well it would be a stalker if he wasn't trying to kill her. Lots of little accidents only start to add up when fan mail arrives showing her dead in each accident. If somebody was trying to kill her why warn her? It's up to her bodyguard and boyfriend to keep her safe and figure out who is behind it all before the killer finally succeeds.
I have heard this narrator a number of times and while she is not my favourite, she does do a better job in this book than normal, not quite so whiney.
I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntary left this review.

Best one yet

I absolutely adore this series. The humor is some of the best. I have had this series in my TBR list for quite some time. So glad I needed a book that started with Q for the A to Z reading challenge. I was deeply saddened to learn of Christina's passing.. She truly was one talented lady. She will be missed greatly by all who's lives she touched with her writing.

This is my first book by this author and my first book in this series.

I was a little lost at the start because the characters had obviously bonded and progressed to this stage so I wasn't able to read on the build up. While it is not necessary, it would be highly recommended.

Since I've not read enough about Mark and Diana, I will have to base my opinion of them from this book. Diana is an up & coming star. She loves strumming on her guitar and coming up with new songs. She seemed young and is kinda unassumingly reckless although I liked her straightforwardness. She is also pretty brave considering all that is happening to her. Mark has a great sense of humor, is brainy and he's protective. He is definitely a hottie, a keeper and an ex CIA turned realtor.

Apparently, one of Mark's enemies has made his mark on Diana. He hired the infamous assassin named Spider and he had a change of heart after that. Unfortunately, there is no turning back once Spider accepts the job so Mark needs all the help he can get to keep Diana alive.

The storyline is of a romantic suspense genre and let me caution you especially if you are reading while commuting and in public as this book certainly has lots of quirky and funny scenes that will let you burst out in laughter. And as mentioned by other reviewers, if you're a fan of Janet Evanovich and Gemma Halliday, you will enjoy this series.

I was gifted a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Queenie Baby Rocks!! A Truly Fun Romantic Suspense Adventure!!! I received an ARC eBook in exchange for an honest review. This is the first book I have read by Christina Burke as well as the first book I have read in the Queenie Baby Series. Yes, I know it's the third book in the series but Christina Burke wrote it as a stand alone novel and I didn't feel lost or like there was a big secret to their past I wasn't privy too. It did however make me want to read the other two books and the Christmas novella in the series because I LOVED this book!! Diana Hudson and her oh so hot hunky boyfriend Mark Greene are too delicious for words. And even though there is danger and mystery to the mishaps and mayhem they find themselves in, you get swept right in to the adventure with them. Christina Burke has a true talent for writing and I have added her to my MUST-READ authors list!!! If you love romance, adventure, pirates and music, then you don't want to miss this fun adventure!!! I highly recommend it!!!

I really dislike how Queenie Baby talks about Carol in this book. I realize I might be looking into it too deeply as it's supposed to just be a light read, but the way she describes Carol's looks is obnoxious. I'm sorry not everyone is drop dead gorgeous like Queenie Baby and Marsha. Queue the eye rolling.

With that mini rant out of the way, I can say this was a solid read with lots of fun moments. Not every guy was chasing after Goddess Diana (Wonder Woman you are not) in this one which helped. The hitman aspect was a good one and gives you an actual whodunit as you're left trying to figure out who the killer is. I figured it out before the end of the book, and while personally I think it took one too many twists to get to the end, it was still a fun ride.

I would read more of the Queenie Baby series, they are great for those moments where you just want to sit down and read an entire book in one sitting.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was an extremely fun read. It was very hard to put down once I started reading it, so much so that I devoured it in one night. I had read the first book in this series, but not the second book, but I didn't really think that you had to have read either of them to get into this one, but it definitely couldn't hurt, especially since the first one was so darn funny too. I just picked up the second one from amazon on sale, so I'll be reading that soon. I loved all of the characters, they were just all so amusing. I especially enjoyed the interaction between Diana and her sister, they are hilarious together. The only thing I have to say is...oh Diana...*sigh*...how can you be that stupid! That said she is still an amazing character and I hope there are many more to come for this series!

I love Queenie Baby, this book is book 3 in the series, but can be read as a standalone. However, once you read this one you will want to go back and read the other books in this series. Diana (Queenie Baby) has been touring with a Pirate rock band. She is on the last stop on the tour and is ready to get home and hand up her sword. However, she is being stalked and someone is trying to kill her. She finds out that her boyfriend’s old enemy has hired a hit man to get back and him and the leader of the Pirate rock band. Before she can relax they must stop the hit man from killing her. This book has is all, mystery, romance, humor, and sexy guys. I encourage you to read this series, you won’t regret it.

This is the third book in the Queenie Baby series and although I had not read the first two, I had no problems getting into the story and character relationships. The main character, Diane, is on tour with Carlos and his band because of the popularity of a new song she wrote, The Rum Song. Dressed as pirates throughout the tour, it slowly dawns on everyone that those supposed accidents were not because Diane is a walking calamity, but were actual murder attempts. Can Mark, her boyfriend and ex CIA agent, locate the hitman before it is too late. The story and its hilarious main characters are reminiscent of the Stephanie Plum series. I really enjoyed all the antics, yet the mystery kept one guessing to the end. I am looking forward to the next Queenie adventure. Disclosure: I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Diana Hudson, temp worker turned rock-star, is definitely tired of pirates, since her gig in Florida involves pirates galore. However, a series of near misses, some sinister scrapbook pages, and confirmation from an old enemy, puts Diana living on borrowed time. Her old enemy hired a hitman known as the spider, who even though he had a change of heart, the spider doesn't take cancellations. Diana and her sexy boyfriend, Mark go on the run.

This was a fun read. Diana unintentionally gets into situations that are hysterical. The characters are quirky, and her relatives are eccentric. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

I have read the first two book in this series, so I was happy to see the third book is released.

I enjoy reading all about Diana or as she is affectionately referred to by the Grands - Queenie Baby.

This book picks up straight from the second book, which is not confusing as Christina weaves in a little of book 2 to remind you what happened.

I love all the characters in this book, crazy, zany and loveable to say the least. And of course everyone wants a boyfriend like Mark.

There is enough entertainment and one liners that it will have you laughing out loud at some points.

Looking forward to another adventure from Queenie Baby soon.

Queenie Baby On Tour is the first book I've had the pleasure of reading by Christina A. Burke but it definitely won't be the last.
Diana is a fantastic character that is easy to relate to and Mark is simply delicious. The Grands are hilarious and I loved every minute we get to spend with them.
The mystery of who The Spider keeps the reader on their toes, and I was genuinely intrigued from beginning to end. I'm looking forward to reading the previous books in the Queenie Baby Series, and can't wait for the next installment in the series.
This is a must read for anyone who loves a fun mystery.

I believed I smiled through most of this book.
I followed Queenie Baby’s adventures dodging assassins and pirates alike, with humour and laughter.
This book is filled with whacky characters mostly consisting of Diana’s family. The never ending trouble that seems to follow Diana around keep me smiling and giggling.
To me, Christina A Burke rates right up there with Janet Evanovich (Stephanie Plum series) and Darynda Jones (Charley Davidson series) the wacky characters and humorous situation pulls the reader into the story keeping them reading until the conclusion.
This is the first book of Queenie Baby series I look forward to reading more of Diana Hudson adventures.

Diana Hudson has found herself becoming a Rock Star. Not her intentions when she was playing dive bars. Out on tour with a Pirate Band accidents keep happening only to find out these aren't accidents, someone is trying to kill her.

Summer reading has begun. Grab your comfortable chair, refreshing drink and sit back and enjoy the escapades of Diana Hudson. From her unique family, her hot boyfriend and equally hot bodyguard. Queenie Baby: On Tour is a nice afternoot getaway that you will enjoy reading and laughing out loud.

Don't Miss the Queenie Baby Series. Delightful fun

Diana is a song writer/singer who finds herself thrown into rock star status and touring with "pirates" due to the success of her song "The Rum Song." When she discovers her clumsy moments were actually attempts on her life the race is on to capture the hit man before he completes the job. This story is a great combination of humor, romance and suspense. It is the third book in the Queenie Baby series but could be read as a stand alone. (Once you've read this one you'll want to read the other two!)

I received this book before release for a review. Before reading this book I had to read the first 2 so I would know the people and understand what was going on. To be honest I didn't think I would like them (as there was no murder mystery) but I was so very very wrong. I loved them! I would highly recommend reading this series. Each book is entertaining and giggle worthy. I now have a new series and new author to enjoy and look forward to reading more of. Thank you Gemma Halliday for introducing me to this lively series and author Christina A. Burke.

Absolutely loved it. I have been very delinquent in reading Christina A. Burke's Queenie Baby series but I am heading back for the first two now and I bought my own copy after I read the gift copy. Need I say more. Of course I will.

Light romance, hilarious humor both witty and zany styles, good suspense. Well plotted but a little crazy with a plausible plot and excellent characters!

A 5 star recommendation on any recommending site, the 4 star review based on my personal strict Goodreads policy.

I have no read book 1 and 2 yet but I plan on it after reading this fun and hilarious book. You don't have to read the other 2 books to know what is going on this is a great stand alone. The characters are hilarious and fun. I enjoyed the mystery and the plot line. This book does not disappoint.

I can't wait to see what I missed in the first few books. I don't want to say too much because I don't want to give anything away!

Another great installment in the wacky life of rock star Queenie Baby as she tries to outrun a hitman. I love this series and enjoyed catching up with Diane and her family. The laughs just keep coming. This book was well written and flowed smoothly. I can not wait for the next chapter in this adventure and am looking forward to what comes next.

It is not necessary to read the first two in the series prior to this book. The author does a good job of introducing the characters to a reader who is new to the series without going into too much detail. I found it to be an enjoyable, light hearted read with laugh out loud moments. The book is a comedy, mystery and romance in one.

Love this book. Diana was a guiter player and songwriter and she went to a bar just to play and sing. Her bodyguard showed up to take her home.
She got up to put her guiter in the case and the last thing she saw was Ardre reaching out to catch her as she plunged into murky darkness.
When she came around they had found 3 letters that looked like threatening letters.Someone was trying to kill her.

This was my first Queenie book and I definitely need to go get the first two.
Not because I was lost in any way, but because this one was so good that I
need to read the other ones. I love her family and all their quirky ways,
it makes me want to be a part of the family too. I will be reading all of
this author's books.

This is my first Queenie Baby book. I have to say, it was really entertaining and kept me guessing until the end. For a while, I was wondering why it was continuing on as it seemed the mystery had already been solved. Made me think there was just another part to the book or another mystery that was related that had to be solved. I will have to ensure I buy the other 2 while they are on sale for $0.99 this week. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun read.

I really like this series but had to drop this one to 3 stars because I HATE it when a character does the whole "I miss my normal life so I'm going to go do something incredibly stupid even though I'm in danger because someone wants to kill me" thing. Seriously!? I guess I understand that the book would be dull if the character behaved and stayed out of trouble like he/she is supposed to, but this overused plot device always makes me rage.
