Excellent. Lonely Planet guides are a guarantee of quality and this one is no exception. Saved us a lot of time looking for information elsewhere, provided great tips for transport, sights, but especially eating. Highly recommended!

Would recommend reading before visiting Moscow as the book gives a 360-degree view on all sights, attractions, activities, parks, restaurants, nightlife and general information about the city.

Lonely Planet is a great companion for my next stop to Moscow. Unfortunately, I know I can never speak the phrases even with this section! It's still a good guide to have and I am really looking forward to seeing the Krasnaya ploshchad, St Basil's Cathedral and much much more! The guide has given a good enough overview to know broadly where to head, and cultural customs to keep out of trouble. I don't expect too much from LP other than this so am pleased with the result.

Half of the restaurants and some of the attractions were closed! This book needs to be released again, and Lonely Planet should try and keep their city guides up to date.
