A simple yet gripping tale of a group of people, on a voyage through space to find a new home, and a new life. The story gives us a short glimpse of a probable future that awaits our world. Intertwined with slight hints of spirituality and mysticism, the story covers various aspects of life- love, fear, anger, betrayal,lust for power..in short, an interplay of human emotions portrayed in not much of a subtle manner.
The climax felt rather incomplete.Yet the author has almost succeeded in creating a wonderful imagery of the future earth, although certain aspects seemed cliched.

In a far flung future where man has forgotten the ability to read and religion itself. The president of the solar system dooms all of the inhabitants through greed and hubris.
A man who had forewarned the end of the solar system only to be locked up as an insane person, teams up with an underground movement to get away on a space ark to find a new brighter future.
In a tale that mimics biblical tales of old, the heroes and the incorrigible president face-off with politics and subterfuge to find the promised land.
A wildly entertaining book that touches on some interesting social commentary but fails to deliver any satisfying conclusions or thoughts upon them. There is however a strong narrative throughline and the conclusion definitely feels earned.
