Aria Buchanan doesn’t have beef with Christmas. If her past disastrous holidays are any indication, Christmas has beef with her. It’s been years since she’s celebrated, and Aria has convinced herself that she is perfectly okay with being in her Grinch era. However, everything changes when she meets Myles Henderson and he persuades her to give Christmas one more try.

Myles Henderson thought the only thing he needed this Christmas was to spend it at home in Providence. Nothing prepared him for Aria Buchanan and the instant connection he felt with her. Suddenly, Myles wants more than just being home for Christmas. He wants to celebrate Christmas with her.

Both of them are shocked when she agrees to attend a few holiday events with him, but as the days tick towards Christmas, Myles and Aria learn that sometimes home can be found in a person, and it only takes one decision to change your life forever.

As much as Aria loves Christmas, she is done with it. Done! 😤 After years of unfortunate mishaps on or around Christmas, she is certain that Christmas is not her jam any longer. 🥹 At first, I wondered if she was just being dramatic, but after learning all of the things that happened to her, I could not blame sis at all. With her family out of the country for the holiday, and her grandmother leaving her to do an interview with some content creator about their bakery, what else could go wrong? Or right?

Myles decides to create content about his home in Providence for the holidays this year. There is a long-standing tradition with a bakery in town, and he is excited to interview the family, and film all the action. However, when he meets Aria, works falls to the back burner. He sees his forever.

Aria and Myles were adorable. They were immediately smitten with each other, and Myles knew right then she was his one. After finding out about her horrible Christmas experiences, he made it his mission to make this one her best one. The outings, fun, and laughter these two had together, pushed all the bad feelings of Christmas past to the side for Aria. All she could see was a beautiful future with Myles. Aria being a part of his holiday content this year was the icing on the cake for him. He received great reviews, as was able to spend time with the woman he planned to never leave behind. Sweet story.

A Christmas Romance

I just love Rilzy’s writing. This was so cute and felt so natural. From how these two met (shoutout to grandma), their personalities, professions and how the chemistry was simply just there.

Love how Aria was a subtle grinch because it was clear how much she still enjoyed this season. Even after everything that happened to her you can just tell there’s a joy in spirit. Her love for food and culture as well. With Myles you can feel that he loves what he does despite his father’s feelings. So when he meets Aria not only does he love what he sees but he wants to get that “grinch” up off her. And he does.

The story just moved well and gave me those warm and cozy vibes.

Feel good reading

I loved this. This book was very light hearted and was just a breath of fresh air. Very well written... It was nice to read about a budding romance where both of them are successful and dedicated to developing a healthy coupling.

The Perfect Finale

Like every December, I read quite a few Christmas stories. By the time I got to this one, I was all out of Christmas cheer. I didn’t want to skip it because I really like Rilzy Adams’ work. This turned out to be one of my favorite holiday books of the season. It was full of love and hope. It was so lighthearted and wholesome. There was no angst. No unnecessary breakup. It was just what I wanted from a Christmas story. I loved how Myles poured into Aria. He was so intentional and loving. She easily accepted the joy he was offering her. Their courtship was so simple, but very sweet.

This book may be my top 2 of cute as Christmas books! Everything about this just made me feel all giddy inside!
Finding love when you’re least expecting, falling back in love with not only yourself but also your favorite holiday, and CONNECTING 🥰

This was a slow burn in the best way possible. The sexual tension has you hoping that’s Myles would just snatch Aria up! But also the building of their relationship was just too adorable to rush! And once they finally consummated, it was BEAUTIFUL! I would love a part 2 of them. Their story was beautiful from beginning to end.

Loved this novella. Aria and Myles have a great connection and I love this take on why Aria is a “Grinch.” Honestly I would be too if I had her string of bad luck, especially if the holiday used to be one of my absolute favorites. But they did such a good job reawakening her love of Christmas and even though they fell in love in a month, it worked so well and felt so real because of their connection. Never a miss from Rilzy Adams!

Home for Christmas

This was such a a sweet and cute Christmas story. It kept me intrigued from the beginning. I loved how Myles was able to get Aria to see Christmas differently and get her to embrace her love for the holiday again. I also loved the easy and organic chemistry between these two. They were a perfect match and I could only imagine how cute their love story will be in the future.

Aria and Myles were the perfect little Christmas love affair. This is a slow burn novella that leaves you wanting to see what's in their future. I loved that they get to actually know each other from the first of December and progress as the days lead up to Christmas. They really had me playing Soca Christmas music as I sat in the car line picking up my son from school reading. I hope you pick it up and enjoy as I did. Happy Christmas Reading Y'all!🎄💋

Perfect love story

Loved Aria and Myles’ love story! Aria has had some issues around Christmas that soured her on the holiday. Myles is home for the holidays and they meet by chance. Their chemistry is instant and the start of something new and wonderful. Beautiful story and hated for it to end. Ms. Adams your writing is still A++ even after taking a break.

Rilzy is BACK and I could cry. I was obsessed with Myles and Aria from the moment he showed up the to bakery and fell in love with her icing sugar covered cheeks.

It was also lovely to be taken to Providence at Christmas and feel connected to the traditions. Obsessed!
