Abominations don't get fated mates. And yet here she is, dying at his feet.
Feared by both wolves and vampires, the last thing Thor expected was to have a wolf fall at his feet and ask for help. He shouldn't get involved in pack politics, and wargs shouldn't have mates, but one hit of her scent, and every part of him knows that this she-wolf belongs to him.
Nicola was raised an Alpha's daughter, but nothing since her father's death has gone right. The new pack leader has kept her imprisoned, trying to force a mating bond with her so she won't share the secret she the wolves want to start a war with the vampires, and she will do everything she can to stop it.
When her inner wolf leads her to Lord Thor, Viking vampire and scariest bastard alive, she knows that with his help, she can take down her old pack before they tear Inferno apart. It's taboo for wolves and vampires to mix, so the fact that Thor is her fated mate and makes every part of her burn is just something else the pack will want to kill her for.
The wolves are about to get a lesson in what happens if you mess with Thor and his wargs. You play Viking games, expect to win Viking prizes, and Thor isn't going to stop until Nicola is safe and his forever.
Please This novella contains violence, explicit language, and steamy sex scenes. If you are in the mood for an insta-love with a growly Viking fighting for his fated mate and their HEA, this is the one for you!
Alessa Thorn believes that all monsters and villains deserve their happy endings. She prefers her clothes black, eyeliner winged and books full of hot romance. She thinks heroes are boring, so her first series 'The Court of the Underworld' centers around dark gods, monsters and villains from her favorite Greek Myths.
A fun, silly, fast paranormal romance that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Over-the-top drama, instant attraction, and plenty of growly alpha energy make this an easy, one-sitting read
🔥 Tropes: 🐺 Wolf Shifter 🩸 Vampire x Wolf 🔥 Fated Mates 🚫 Forbidden Romance 💪 Possessive MMC
⭐️ Final: A solid 3 stars—perfect as a quick, spicy palate cleanser between heavier books.
This would have been a 5-Star if it wasn’t for the abrupt ending. I enjoyed the fast pace I would expect from a novella, but this really was a bit too rushed and the ending so sudden, it feels unfinished.

I really enjoyed Thor and Nicola’s story. Nicola is the daughter of the former wolf shifter pack’s alpha. She was promised to the new alpha but refused and then found out about his plans to start a war with the vampires. She is imprisoned and abused for weeks before escaping and running into Thor, the king of the wargs. They’re mates and it’s really cute. They clicked and understood each other immediately and I love how Thor was always proud for her to stand on her own two feet and make her own decisions just like she is fully accepting of all sides of him. And isn’t that what we’re all searching for? Someone who wants to help support us so we can stand on our own while also being seen and accepted? Great quick read.
Oh Alessa, she does it again. Fun and quick read! Vikings/Vampires/Shifters need I say more. Ok I will...how about an amazing LOTR reference that had me kicking my feet just a little. This novella packs a wallop. I will say I had to knock some points off for all the "mate" talk. That word was just repeated a little too often for me. However, per usual the smut is smutting and knotting was even thrown in.
Solid 3.5 Stars Definitely my favourite in this series so far. Better than books 1 & 2, which I rated 3 stars. But not quite a 4 star.
AT's own spin on Viking, wolf, warg and vampires all rolled into one!
Thor & Nicola recognised each other as mates instantly and I feel like that made the Insta love less cringy.
I loved that Thor wasn't overprotective, he respected and encouraged Nicola to be independent and his equal. Nicola showed Thor she accepted him, in all his versions.
I really enjoyed this one. I am obsessed with Alessa’s writing style and the characters that she creates. I loved Thor and Nicola, they were perfect for each other. The plot in this book was so addictive too, I couldn’t get enough of it. The spice was just incredible too. This book was the perfect fast-paced, action packed, spicy novella! I cannot wait to read the other books that Alessa has written.
I’m obsessed! 🐺🩸 This werewolf-vampire novella is full of forbidden love, fated mates, and sizzling chemistry that kept me hooked from start to finish. With pack politics and vampire intrigue, the suspense never lets up. 💥
I’m so excited for the 4th book, but a little sad the series is ending—this world and these characters will be missed! 💖
Tropes you’ll love: 🔥 Fated Mates 💔 Forbidden Romance 🩸 Vampire & Wolf Dynamics ⚔️ Pack Politics 💖 Steamy Romance 🌌 Urban Fantasy Adventure
The book is a little shorter than I am used to but lots of action and steamy romance. I was a little sad to not keep reading. Hopefully we we catch up to these two again later in another book. If you want something quick but a well thought out story buy this now. You won't be disappointed.
9 Wows ~ What a wonderful sexy love story. ❤️🔥❤️🔥 I was as excited as Nicola.
If you want the most creative Viking love story this is it. You will not put the book down until the end. It has the biggest HEA story I’ve read in a while. I highly recommend the author and the book. Enjoy as I certainly did. Kudos to Alessa Thorn. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
What a story, a wolf princess captured and tortured, escaping and running straight to the most dangerous man/warg/wolf/vampire... and as it turns out. Her mate. Really really loved this story, wonderfully written as always, with big tough alpha smitten for his queen.
Alessa never seems to miss for me. Loved Thor and Nicola. The pacing is great, not too quick for a novella but fast enough that the tension is always present. And the spice!? What’s knot to love ;)
Alessa Thorn has the knack of engaging the reader right from the start. Her characters are likable (mostly) and take you along on a fun ride. I'd recommend this book to everyone.
Thor is a viking, turned vampire wolf that has found his mate in a wolf princess. She's been abused and now has claimed Thor as her mate in a battle. Of wolf verses vampire.
Quick, spicy, and insta-love fated mates. I love Alessa Thorn, she never disappoints. Inferno is so interesting and once again, I wish this was full length.
Not sure if I'm disliking this series or not. It seems very surface level compared to her other books. But I'm a simp for Thorn, so I'll keep reading everything she writes regardless.
