About the author

Growing up in 90’s Brooklyn, NY, Treasure Malian’s passion for writing began at a young age. Inspired by her environment, she was able to capture the beauty and pain of growing up in that era, through her lens. A passion that while initially was only a spark, ignited into a full-blown flame after her tenure at Lincoln University and St. Francis College, where she studied undergrad, with the intent on becoming a lawyer.

The inability to escape the gnawing desire to write led her to write and publish her first #1 Bestselling Series “Power Trip” Over twenty novels later, Treasure is still capturing the experiences and emotions that come with the complexities of black love in her stories. Now equipped with a master’s degree, she continues to pursue elevation in her career and beyond.

Mr. Make it Happen

This feed my holiday spirit and then some. I’m starting to think the secret to Christmas romance magic is the mountains? That’s just my theory. Mason was something special although his thoughts in the beginning had me side eyeing him a bit. I enjoyed the pace of this, the build up their connection, and they way the genuinely fell into each other. Books like this are why Black romance written by Black woman will always reign supreme in my heart because there were several quotes that spoke life directly into me and you aren’t going to get that just anywhere. This is a new to me author and I am highly intrigued because she poured love into these pages!

I really enjoyed this novella! New to me author, my first new holiday read of the year. It’s more of a happens at Christmas than a Christmas centered story in my opinion but really good to me.

It wasn’t quite the story I was expecting though I honestly didn’t read the synopsis so actually I don’t know what I was expecting! It was an interesting twist on an arrangement, definitely a happy right now sort of ending but it was done well so I enjoyed that it didn’t have an epilogue. There were some fun holiday themed moments, cozy winter vibes, and surprisingly spicy which I’m not mad at!

This was such a cute and sweet Christmas novella! Mason and Honesty were so cute together and I wish I could get more of them. I love me a man who trick and Mason was that plus more!!! He made sure to grant all of Honesty’s wishes. They were both career focused individuals and to see them break down their walls so fast had me kicking my feet. I NEED MOREEEE!

This was a cute Christmas romance. There was no drama, just two people enjoying the Christmas vibes and each other in every way possible. One scene had me gag a bit but I’m a big girl and got through it lol. I’m giving it 4 stars because I enjoyed them getting to know each other and it wasn’t any toxic unnecessary bs. Gave me hallmark vibes with some smutty scenes.

Christmas can be what you make it and sometimes we need to get out of our own way to have everything and more than we can dream of. This was a sweet and spicy novella that I was here for. I swear next year I’m going to the mountains at this point you as a black women get your HEA when you get to the mountains. Honesty and Mason were so cute and got spicy I didn’t see coming but all the feels I wanted at the same time. I loved how caring a shut off man can be and a women who wants nothing but gets everything. He granted every wish Honesty had and she gave him more in a weekend than you knew what to do with. Watching them break down each other’s walls and wish I got more of them. This is my 1st read from this author and I will be back for more!!

Under The Millionaire’s Mistletoe is a well paced novella with likable and diverse characters

I liked the MMC Mason and the FMC Honesty, which is rare — most times these FMCs are just so irritating to me.

I rate this book 3.75 stars for the character development and the storyline - both were engaging and well done.

The cons for me were the internal dialogue because there seemed to be way too much at times. I also don’t think the book was spicy enough, given some of the MMC’s character development.

All in all, this is a cute quick holiday themed romance. I’d definitely read more about the characters in this story.

A beautiful Christmas Novella

This novella gave everything it was suppose to! Great character development, especially for a novella, and I loved how the relationship unfolded so naturally. It gave me all the warm, cozy, Christmas, romantic feels without ever making me feel like something was missing. Don’t get me wrong, I definitely wished there was more (as I do with most novellas), but I didn’t get that “wait, how did we get here?” feeling. It was cute, sexy, funny, and full of heart with a bit of spice! A perfect quick read for the holiday season!

Love comes when you least expect it!

Mason and Honesty…. Whew! Mason the workaholic and who avoids attachments, at 1st glance became mesmerized with Honesty. He tried to fight the urge to not follow through & call her but clearly he didn’t stand a chance, it was just something about her. This was a quick-face paced read that definitely left you wanting more of Mason & Honesty… they were too cute! *when you least expect it, love comes*

Great Holiday Novella!

If you love a millionaire arrangement, a Scrooge MMC and a whirlwind romance, this is a great read for you. It gave me everything I wanted from a holiday read. I loved the complexity of the characters, even for a novella. I loved how the MMC had some trepidation about starting a connection with the FMC. I also loved the way the whirlwind romance unfolded.

Most certainly tickled my holiday movie itch. This was a great read I enjoyed going to Aspen for the first time. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was some of the grammar errors made a few things confusing. But it didn’t take away from the story an I am already looking for my next read by this author.

This was a quick novella set in a luxurious atmosphere, with a ton of holiday vibes. I wish there was a bit more substance to their relationship, but this was to be expected for 100 pages lol Mason did the most constantlyyy to impress her which annoyed me sometimes, but it worked clearly 😭

This gave me ALL the holiday feels I was looking for with great writing and pacing. Sometimes holiday novellas feel rushed or the chemistry can feel forced, not this time tho! Treasure Malian did her big one with this! So far it’s my favorite holiday read of 2024.

This book was roughly 100 pages but it dragged! When we go to the romance it was cute and fluffy. Now based off the rules the MMC set I was expecting some filthy spicy stuff but we just got standard spice. (Well in my opinion).
