This one was my least favourite of the 3 books, probably because I couldn’t relate much to this independant girl boss narrative. However, I really enjoyed getting to know Hendrix, and loved how caring she is, especially towards her mother.
The romance was intense, sensual and genuine. I loved how they were drawn to each other from the very first moment they met. I loved how Maverick was always willing to prove to Hendrix that she could trust him, with concrete actions.
I just felt like the reason why they couldn’t be together wasn’t that deep, I thought it was gonna be a bit more chaotic. But knowing Hendrix it was still realistic so I guess it made sense.
Overall, a good and enjoyable read, not my fav but still very pleasant.
