This was a decent read. Torres is annoying as shit. They’re trying to frame her as an asset, but most of the time she’s just an ass. but overall, a solid entry into the series.

Why must we have the same description of each character at the start of each book? Literally copy-paste. I don't think any new readers are jumping in on this series 15 books in. These books are fine as stand-alones, but this author is really burning those of us who enjoyed the first few books by dragging this series on and on...

I was really beginning to think I couldn’t finish this series because of how repetitive it was getting, but the end of this one made me continue the adventures of Maya Gray.
