I really liked this. I think I would've like it more as a full book in this series. I felt like it was too short and so much happened. I LOVE Alicia and Ben. They're the cutest sweetest couple, next to Claire and Cole. I loved to see Cole as a kid even if it was just a little bit of the book. Overall easy quick enjoyable read.

I was given this book for my honest review
Can you remember back to when you first saw your child take their first step in life? Even if you haven’t gotten that far let me put some perspective on it. Your child’s first step is a rocky one that no parent wishes to see but at the same time with our children straining to lean on the table or chair to pick themselves up all the while straining to get the perfect balance only to fall down again. With frustration on their little faces we want to help them so badly but reframe in doing so knowing all the while that this first step is not only going to be memorable for us but also them down the road when each new task set before them will be rocky and bumpy at best and they may fall but they will get up again and try as they might to succeed in all that they do. This becomes truth in all that we do in our everyday lives. Mostly it becomes a teaching tool in love. Alicia and Ben’s true journey begins here.
There really is not much else to say about this journey between these two loves. The sex is hot, the emotions are on high alert and if you take away anything besides entrancement then you sure are one for the history books just as these two bound hearts.
Author M. J. Summers you are an author for the history books. May all your passion be unbridled, may you continue to astonish, bewitch and bring your emotions through the pages in all that you write. I hope to be on the continuing journey with more beloved characters as the ones in this series. Major kudos

It was really nice to read the love story between Ben & Alicia. MJ Summers did leave us wanting more of their story. I hope its a something soon to come. A great summer read!

This was such a sweet story. I wasn’t sure how this would work since it was the story of Ben and Alicia and we already knew how it was going to turn out after reading book one. The author did an awesome job with their backstory. Even though I knew how it was going to turn out, I still felt my heart breaking when things were not going well for this couple. Many times I was rooting for them and begging them to do things differently.
We also got to see a little more of Megan and Ian’s story and see Ian’s perspective. I really enjoyed the fact that this novella has ties to book one and book two without rehashing anything we have already read.

After reading "Break In Two" (Cole and Claire's story) I fell in love with MJ Summer's writing and have been waiting for her come out with her next book. And while this was a quick read I was definitely not disappointed. It was so great to get some insight and background on Ben and Alicia and I can't wait to read the rest of the series!!! Keep it coming MJ

I really enjoyed seeing how Ben and Alicia got together. I also liked the sneak preview of how the next story came bout. Ben and Alicia took some time to get to where they are now and it was worth the wait I guess.

This felt like a trailer to a movie and I am more disappointed than anything. I was expecting to see more of their courtship before they got married. It was clearly just a transition to the next full book. It had the potential to be more than just a cute novella.

Ben and Alicia's story in the Breaking Hearts Series. I loved it.. it's a little shorter but you get the deep glimpse into what happened between Ben and Alicia prior to coming to the ranch. Loved it.

This is a quick read about Alicia and Ben, how their relationship starts and blooms. It wasn't as gripping as the first book in the series, but I am hoping the third picks back up.
