Frosty Nights

Rate this book
Holly White never planned on returning to Frostbrook, the cozy mountain town where every resident has a touch of magic and Christmas lasts all season long. But after her life in the city falls apart, she’s left with no choice but to return to her family home—and face the magical community she walked away from. As a fairy with powers linked to the winter season, Holly knows she won’t be able to stay hidden for long, especially not with the town’s Winter Wonderland Festival around the corner.

Nick Carter, her old next-door neighbor and Frostbrook’s favorite wolf shifter, is thrilled to see Holly back in town. With his charming grin and warm heart, Nick is used to everyone liking him—even prickly Holly, who seems more guarded than ever. But as sparks fly between them and ancient magic stirs in the snowy woods, Holly and Nick find themselves drawn together by forces they can’t ignore. In a town where enchantment runs as deep as the snowdrifts, can a grumpy winter fairy and a flirty wolf shifter find love, or will their secrets freeze them out for good?

The Frostbrook series is a Paranormal Romance, Winter themed collection of interconnected standalones, set in the same town that is filled with humans, monsters, magic and more.

Frosty Nights is book one in the series, and a standalone MF romance, following a grumpy fairy who needs to find a reason to feel joy again after her divorce, and an adorable wolf shifter desperate to make his childhood crush have a reason to smile. They've been neighbours since childhood and now she's back in their small town, living next door to him for a fast burn, fated mate romance filled with cute fluff, some spice, MC's over thirty, and plenty of fun popular tropes.
The entire series can be read in any order and you get a full book and HEA at the end of each one.

Each book is chock full of winter vibes and tropes. Whether that is the general white and snowy weather, or something like Christmas and are designed to be shorter reads averaging 30 to 70k words. They are all romcom's and vary in levels of spice and sweetness/darkness.

It is written by Tierney Storer under the pen name Aurora Frost, to help distinguish which books are seasonal themed. Her other seasonal pen names include Salem Myers (autumn) and Daisy Fields (spring/summer)

cute quick read

Minimal angst, easy read. Kind of repetitive but overall a cute fluffy read. Wish it had a little more substance.
