Callow, a battle-scarred ex-military turned outlaw biker, knows trouble when he sees it. So when he spots an underage girl about to leave a bar with the wrong crowd, instinct kicks in, and he steps in to stop her, then calls her mom, Sabrina, a fiercely protective single mother struggling to rein in her rebellious daughter, Daphne.

What he doesn’t expect is Daphne starting to shadow his every move—even straight into the line of fire when an arms deal goes sideways. Now, Daphne’s reckless behavior has made her a target for ruthless enemies aiming to take aim at the biker club.

But Daphne has her own agenda—playing matchmaker for her mom and the brooding biker she’s sure is the perfect man for Sabrina.

As danger closes in, Callow is determined to shield Sabrina and Daphne from the enemies closing in. Because he sees in them the family he never knew he wanted, but can no longer live without…

So this book not only has the hottest cover ever, the book is even hotter than the cover :-))
But Jessica Gadziala isn't one of my favorite authors, because she writes sweet and swoony romance.
Her books are more on the naughty and criminal side of the spectrum.
If you know what I mean ;--)

A hot, laid-back outlaw biker, a single, overworked mother and a teenage daughter who does everything to give her mother a heart attack.

The book is sooo good.
I read it in one sitting.
The topic and writing style are ones again, perfect.
I don't just love Jessica Gadziala's writing style, I love her one-of-a-kind humor.
The story is action-packed, dramatic and incredibly exciting.
The hot factor is very high level in this story.
You have been warned! ;:-))

This is an MC romance, but the story is more about the life of the biker and his family, and less about his "activities".

I probably don't need to write this anymore, but I'll do it anyway, this is a must-read for all romance lovers.

I love this book and this beautiful romantic HEA.

4.25 stars- for some reason I thought I highlighted more of this book but found only one. Hmm.
Anyway I loved Callow. The story worked out for me, the chemistry was hot and fast between him and Sabrina. Although she threw lots of money around for her daughter even though she was a single mom working housekeeping at a local motel. That was a little unbelievable, which is ironic due to everything else in the story (arms dealers, bikers, etc.)

Fun story with humorous touches that I ripped right through. Will probably pick up more from this series.

One highlight, but I enjoyed many more:
"By the end of the night, all three of us girls were absolutely loaded to the gills with pizza. Daphne had half of her essay written. And, most importantly of all, I had an outfit for my date.
And just, you know, a few days to stress myself the hell out about it."

It felt like a natural coming together for them and I liked the epilogue.

Sabrina & Callow

Love!!

This one is a favorite! The series is a favorite. This author is a favorite. 😄 I just really enjoy the worlds she's created.

This story was especially fun. Callow meets Daphne first & gets her out of trouble. The first time he meets Sabrina, he doesn't even get her name bc she's just Daphne's mom & circumstances don't lend themselves to a proper introduction. The next couple meetings are also full of drama.

Within the drama, a really great relationship grows, and along with falling for each other, they create a family unit that is just so freaking sweet!

I love Callow! His openness, protectiveness, and loyalty are top notch. Highly enjoyed the whole story from beginning to end!

😍😍😍

Callow and Sabrina

Another brilliant book by one of my favourite authors. As soon I start to read one of her books I find myself so enthralled and invested in the story that I'm happy because I know I'm in for a treat. She has a knack of giving you enough detail and reminding you of characters from other books without over labouring her writing. Great stuff.
This one is about Callow, Sabrina and her really interesting daughter who we meet when she's 16 and is a rebellious teen. Add in the requisite drama, suspense and love story with the aptly named Sabrina you have a five star read from the Navesink Bank world.

Callow and Sabrina was a feel good HEA story.  Callow is such a sweet guy despite being a 1%er.  Sabrina seems like a cool chick despite being a mom.  Both characters are fairly laid back but both in a different way.  I loved how easy this was to read and how it made me feel good.

After reading this, glad I had boys for kids :) Loved Callow. Even with his past he was such a good man and did his best to keep his woman's teenage daughter out of trouble.

From their first meet, you could tell Callow and Sabrina were perfect for each other.

I love JG books especially the Navesink world. And the Henchmen family is great.

Only the last few books are a bit lacking in my opinion. Lacking the sence of Brotherhood. Hell the prez is mostly gone, His prospects know more about the club then he does.

There is no mention of church, problems are solved with little sub groups. Once a book about a brother is written, we never hear from him again.

The princesses are almost cut out of the stories. For me the series is starting to lose his appeal. Because the Brotherhood, the loyalty, the family, that was what made this series special.

Another point of critique: the facts don't always add up anymore. And i know it is difficult with such a large amount of books but when you bingeread like me it is annoying if things don't add up

In this book it is mentioned that Nave came back with best friend Voss after last one saved his live. But if you have read Valens book, you would know that it wasn't Nave but Valens story.

Genre & Tropes : romance biker x suspensish plot x single mom x teenager daughter drama x spicy

Une romance biker / mère célibataire ?? OUI !

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

A biker/single mother romance ?? YES !

OK, at first I had some doubts about this book because even though I really like Callow and I adore the single mother trope, I'm not really a fan of teenage children who often get on my nerves ...

But while Daphne was sometimes stupid and annoying (hello, I sneak out when my life is in danger), I absolutely loved the romance between Sabrina and Callow (their dates <3) and all the twists and turns with the attacks and everything ... And of course the ending and their future together <3

In short, a biker romance full of twists and turns that's both sexy and romantic!

Either I put the review on a different book, or it didn't save. Either way... second time lucky trying to write this damn thing.

Callow is a delicious bite of sweet goodness I could not get enough of. He hasn't had an easy life, but he's a real good man down to his bones. Loyal, kind, and well tempered but also protective.. what's not to love.

Sabrina is a single mom just trying to survive the teenager hell faze. She herself was a wild child, so whilst not suffocating her daughter, she also isn't stupid.
Oh, this woman is a trooper. She's sweet, genuine, and did not give herself enough credit for being a total badass and doing it all.

These two together... chiefs kiss perfection. Jessie doesn't do single mom troupe often, but when she does... it's like the best desert you save for a special moment.
The chemistry is everything. The connection is so sweet and beautifully woven. These characters really came to life along the way, helping one another grow and evolve.

Daphne is a little twit but I mean she's 16 hormonal, and it's normal. Some lessons have to be learnt the real hard way and baby did she learn them.

Sully... give me this man's book and get him is damn hot tub!.

I love the mc, I love this world and all the little intricacies it holds. The bonds of brotherhood. The slew of epic women.. the crazy, the hilarious, and the dysfunctional.
Jessie just never fails.

Single mother Sabrina has been cursed with the fate of having a rebellious teenage daughter at around the same age Sabrina was when she got herself pregnant with Daphne. While Sabrina doesn’t normally regret having a smart, beautiful daughter (albeit with an absent, deadbeat, felon father), Daphne’s actions are rival the worst of Sabrina’s own teenage antics. The wild child manages to lie to her, not be where she’s supposed to be, and is caught on more than one occasion trying to party with the bad crowd in bars where no teenager is meant to be. That’s where Callow, one of the more sensible Henchmen, finds Daphne being led by the arm out to a car by a couple of way-too-old-for-her guys whose intentions are shady at best. And that’s how Sabrina first meets Callow.

Without revealing any spoilers, Daphne the teenager manages to get herself into some pretty serious predicaments, so if you’re a parent, beware – it may very well give you palpitations.

This is yet another amazing story from the brilliant imagination of Jessica Gadziala.

Callow is the twelfth book in the Henchmen MC Next Generation series by Jessica Gadziala.

Sabrina is a single mom doing the best she can to take care of her teenage daughter Daphne. Callow is a great guy who is former military and has a serious protective nature.

Callow steps in when he witnesses Daphne in a bad situation. He makes her call Sabrina and believes that’s the last time he’ll see them. Daphne has other ideas and realizes Callow would be good for her mom.

There’s a little MC trouble, some teenage drama and some sweet times between Callow and Sabrina. Daphne really is a good kid and deeply loves her mom. The ending is very sweet and a perfect conclusion for this story.

There are still some of the MC members who don’t have books yet, so I’m anxious to see whose story will be next. Sully maybe or one of the twins??

Callow

Three main characters in this one including the teenage daughter. Here's the first interaction between the MMC and the teenager who would become his daughter,

““I can make my own decisions,” she declared, lifting her chin.

“Yeah? Your mom agree with that?” I asked.

“She treats me like a baby,” Daph insisted, crossing her arms.

“You are a fucking baby,” I said, watching her eyes spark.

And,

““Save that shit for boys your own age,” I said. “Better yet, save it ‘till you’re thirty. Boys ain’t shit,””

The teenager drove me nuts but she acted her age - thinking she was smart but making dumb decisions.

Favorite lines: (I miss Dezi)

“These are ‘marry me’ type cookies.”

And

“I wouldn’t mind staring menacingly at him while cleaning my gun,” I piped in.

I loved Callow & Sabrina!

What a strong, sweet story! It's the kind of story that clearly shows that it's never too late to find someone to appreciate and value you. I loved Callow's protectiveness toward not only Sabrina, but her mischievous daughter / matchmaker as well. It was an incredible journey, that gave me all the feels. Sabrina was an amazing, strong heroine. Becoming a mother in a very young age not only didn't break her, but gave her the courage to become the strongest version of herself. Her dedication to her daughter is heartwarming - a teenage daughter with sudden rebellious tendencies that cause headaches! And Callow stumbles upon it! Great writing, amazing plot and of course a HEA. 5 stars.

ANOTHER WONDERFUL BOOK!💖💖💖💖💖

This was a beautiful love story....Jessica's storytelling just continues to be amazingly good. I have never read one book of hers that is not a satisfying and entertaining experience to read! Her characters are always charismatic and easy to picture. This story was no exception... The romance and steaminess, the thread throughout of suspense; the loyalty and affection of the characters, all blended together seamlessly into another very enjoyable read. As you can tell I love Jessica's books and I highly recommend this one also, you will love it! 😇

Sabrina is a single mom with a rebellious teenage daughter. Callow happens to be in the right place at the right time to get her daughter Daphne out of trouble. Sparks fly, more circumstances get in the way to cause a very fun, and on your toes story.

Calloway is a fantastic read! I could not put it down from the first chapter. This is another great addition to the Henchmen Next Gen. I definitely will be doing a reread soon!

Take one single mother with a rebellious teenage daughter and add one handsome biker. Voila! You have all the ingredients of an MC book that has just the right blend of sweet mixed with spicy. And, oh boy! The spicy is not skimpy. Nor is the sweet, for that matter.

Callow just became my newest book boyfriend.

Loved this. Callow wasn’t even on my radar of upcoming books. Gadziala can follow the same pattern but write a completely different book even after this many in the series. I feel like this is the first going on dates book she’s written. So sweet and cute while still being action packed. Definitely one of my favorites.

WONDERFUL STORY!!

I have a new favorite Henchman!! Callow is a great character as are his new ladies. Daphne, 16 year old daughter of his love interest Sabrina. Trying to appear older she ends up at the Clubhouse which spells trouble. Callow handles it the same as he did when she was at the bar…called her mother. This is how they met!

Well worth reading!!

I'm too much of a fan of author JGs writing to say less than 5 stars. I get entrenched in every story. These Henchman are the consummate delicious Bad Boys. I think this one is mild but you'll still it. Enjoy!!

Good book

This was another really good read in the series. Callow is always the serious one who saves a young teen from an unfortunate incident and calls her mum. It's instant attraction for the pair but troubles are just found the corner.

It was pretty good, but it was more about the relationship with very little MC stuff. I probably would have appreciated it more if I read the series in order. That's on me, not the author.
