Torin Barker is a devoted husband and father to his newborn daughter. But after a terrible accident takes his wife from them just months after the baby’s birth, he’s not sure how to move forward. I was hyped for the story because since I started this series, I was expecting someone to muse a baby but in my opinion this wasnt really how I expected it to be not was the whole second chance thing and their dynamic well done ….

2.75 stars!
I really looked forward to reading a lactation story but this unfortunately didn't deliver on the smexy side of things. I was expecting something like Roe Horvat's "Milk" type with lots of lactation-kink scenes but this ended up with only one sex scene. I was whelmed and a bit disappointed. It was pretty wholesome though.

I’m not much of a second-chance romance fan, but I enjoyed this one. Joss (Joshua) is a sweet angel. 💕

I don't wanto to disrespect the author's work, but there were too many things I didn't like in this story to give it more than 2 stars.
The main problem is that it's all too superficial: we know Torin hurt Joshua in high school, but in order to be a good second chance at love romance, we should have known more (about their feelings, their dreams, if they had plans to stay together); moreover, two 18 years old inexperienced teenagers exploring kinks and setting their sexual dynamic into a Daddy/boy relationship felt a bit ridiculous.
We know that Torin's parents were homophobic, but after him going away to college and then graduating, they still had power over him? Why didn't he tried to make amends sooner with Joshua, if he was such a big love.
The dead wife trope is just convenient and honestly, Torin constantly saying that she was like a sister to him and that he didn't love her like he loved Joshua was just annoying.
Lastly, the story has an abrupt end and we don't get to see Joshua to be more than a nanny to Bella: Torin says they're all family, but he never calls Joshua "Dad" or "Papa", he keeps referring to him by his first name when he talks to Bella.

This was a sweet story centred on the two ex-lovers and a sweet little girl. I liked that they took their time but there was no detailed character development nor more analysis of their thoughts and feelings. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and male lactation.

Sweet story of second chances
High school is hard and when you’re trying to be everything to everyone it’s even harder. Torrin is recently widowed with a daughter who has digestive issues. Joss works for a lactation clinic and is matched with Torrin. They have a history that is rough. But, they are able to reconnect and learn from the past. Joss completes their family in such a sweet way.

I have enjoyed this series but as read back to back I was getting a bit bored! However this book certainly put everything back in place! Such a lovely storyline with such endearing characters it drew me in and kept me there. I loved the second chance relationship development between Torin and Joss. am emotional and heartwarming read. Now off to read the last few books! 😄

It was cute. It's kinky and a bit odd, but the characters were cute and well developed, plot was sufficient for the length and they do fall quickly but they knew each other before so it wasn't too quick for me. All in all, it was good. I wished it was a bit longer because I liked the characters so much and wanted an epilogue going further into the future with them.

Sweet second chance
I always wish these books were never ending. The writing is so good and the stories just hit the spot each time. I can’t wait for the next one to be released!

Good but short
I enjoyed the story but felt it was too short and needed more feel like it was complete. Not in the sense that there is a cliffhanger or anything but just like the story need more to it.

I got this book for free on stuff your kindle day. I thought I’d give it a whirl but I personally couldn’t get over the male lactation. Although I love a good MM romance this gave me that with a little bit of spice. Overall good story.

So the guy is just able to lactate. But like, in what universe could you go to someone's house and be like yeah, I'll be the wet-nurse for your baby and I'm a guy....
It was okay, quick, but it wasn't memorable. Really just an average romance with 2 guys and a baby.

The timeline of things felt a little wrong and there definitely wasn’t enough of an explanation for past behaviour. Cute but empty of any depth.
