山中豪宅雾越邸是一栋遗世独立的美丽建筑。来自东京剧团的成员在山中遭遇暴风雪，偶然间闯入这座豪宅，被困其中。随后，宅中不断出现怪现象：破碎的玻璃、掉落的画像……一一成为连环杀人预告。

各怀心事的成员们既惧怕这座仿佛从沉睡中醒来的活的建筑，又怀着秘密的欲望，期待它能改变自己的命运。

整部作品充满了美学激辩与浪漫情调，打造了一个被唯美色彩晕染了的理想世界。表面的主人公是作为叙事者的“我”，但另一个影子世界中的主人公，其实是雾越邸这座“馆”本身。

'Yukito Ayatsuji' is the original creator of Another. He is a famous writer of mystery and Japanese detective fiction. He is also one of the writers that demands restoration of the classic rules of detective fiction and the use of more self reflective elements. He is married to Fuyumi Ono, author of The Twelve Kingdoms and creator of Ghost Hunt, Juuni Kokuki, and the author for a few other manga.

ちょっと　アガサさんの名作「そして誰もいなくなった」から模倣した気をきつけた，童謡がかり殺人事件です.
ゆきとさんの初作で　"おもしれ～"と思う．

It seems like this book simulates the topic of Agatha Christie's masterpiece"And then there were none" for the murders are both related to a nursery rhyme...
This [Kirigoetei Satsujinjiken] might be the first piece of the author (Mr.Ayatsuji), I think it is interesting enough.

Not the best type of detective novel. Like many Japanese detective novels, the motivation is not plausible, despite that the plot and tricks themselves are okay. It is not too hard to figure out there are more than one murders though.

國中朋友剛好也愛綾辻行人，送我新出版的「童謠的死亡預言」當生日禮物，封面太可怕了，比內容更有記憶點。
