This was such a sweet story with an amazing message. My son (5) and I read this together and he really enjoyed it! The story was well put together and the illustrations were perfectly executed. We loved the twist at the end, we were both shocked! I love the message of consistency, organization and follow through. We loved the sound effects the people made as well. His favorite part was when Milo stopped to breathe and take a moment to regroup. Amazing short story!
Brenda Li doesn’t disappoint in the tales of resilience and growth. A job well done. I just picked this book up as a bedtime story for my kiddos and I thoroughly enjoyed reading, as well, as the kiddos enjoyed looking at the pictures and listening to the story.
My son loves this book, and I do too. He’s at a critical age where making mistakes or not being the best at something not only happens often, but so does the shame that can accompany those events. This simple story does a great job depicting why it’s important to be resilient and to try again. An important reminder for myself as well to be honest!
The Boy Who Makes A Million Mistakes is such a cute book for children. This teaches them that mistakes are okay and they happen but you just have to keep trying, practice makes perfect. Children often get angry and upset when they make mistakes often and tend to just give up, this books shows them to keep trying. The pictures are great and fit the book as it continues going on. Highly recommend.
I really like this book and so does my 4 year old son. I love the message of “If you just keep trying, something great will come of it.” This book can help build resilience. The illustrations are super fun as well. I definitely recommend.
I am a special education teacher. Some of my students get upset when they make mistakes. This book is excellent and funny. It’s a must read! Excellent!
A really funny story which teaches children that it’s ok to mistakes. From making mistakes, we learn how to improve, and to improve, we must keep trying. The illustrations are brilliant.
There were just a few bigger words my princess had trouble with but she did great and the story was a good lesson to "keep on trying"(from the princess herself🥰
The book is funny and engaging. Kids and adults will find it enjoyable. The illustrations capture your attention, too. I recommend it for helping children end negative self-talk.
My four year old loved this book. We had a great time giggling and discussing the book before bedtime. There’s a really good lesson about perseverance. I can see this being a go-to book for while.
And kids do want to learn to cook! But, the lessons in the book are easy to apply to learning anything new. My grandson has enjoyed this book several times!
My son says it’s very very awesome . Super cute loved it such a really good lesson, especially for kindergartners who are trying and learning different things
