Amber Kell has made a career out of daydreaming. It has been a lifelong habit she practices diligently as shown by her complete lack of focus on anything not related to her fantasy world building.

When she told her husband what she wanted to do with her life he told her to go have fun.

During those seconds she isn't writing she remembers she has children who humor her with games of 'what if' and let her drag them to foreign lands to gather inspiration. Her youngest confided in her that he wants to write because he longs for a website and an author name—two things apparently necessary to be a proper writer.

Despite her husband's insistence she doesn't drink enough to be a true literary genius she continues to spin stories of people falling happily in love and staying that way.

She is thwarted during the day by a traffic jam of cats on the stairway and a puppy who insists on walks, but she bravely perseveres..

She also writes under the name Mikela Q. Chase

Sometimes you just need a quick read with a loving couple, a bit of kink and a kidnapping. That is exactly what this book supplied and I really enjoyed it!

The one thing that stuck out for me in this story is the obvious love between Will and Lindi - it was delicious and left me in a happy place. Lindi the big bad Dom who likes everything just so absolutely melted around his partner and sub.

Lindi has just helped the FBI take down an art forgery ring and has left himself and Will open to retribution. Refusing to go into protective custody and leave Will to fend for himself they take their chances but it backfires when Will is kidnapped.

With his beloved sub missing Lindi makes a startling discovery about his past. A secret that Will has kept for five years but could be the answer to securing his freedom. Faced with such a huge revelation Lindi is left unsure of how well he actually knows the man he is in love.
This is a great quick read with some hot kinky sex thrown into the mix. The family was both funny and scary but I think they met their match with Lindi and his all consuming love for Will. A fun addition to the series!

‘Mastering Will’ is the third story in this series set in and around Greg’s BDSM Club. It focuses on an established Dom/sub couple who are clearly very much in love, have been together for five years, and discover, as unexpected events unfold, that there is a lot in Will’s past that he never shared with Master Lindi, never mind how much he loves him. It is an interesting case of the sub wanting to protect the Dom, and mostly succeeding, until they both find out there are things better shared, no matter how painful. “Forewarned is forearmed” is an idiom whose truth both Will and Lindi get to test in this story, and I loved the cleverness with which it was all put together.

Will has an excellent reason to hide his past from anyone he comes in contact with; he has run away from his mafia family (a father and two older brothers) and is afraid they’ll pull him back into the “family business” if they find out where he is. He is very much in love with Lindi, and all his feelings are returned. So when Lindi helps bust a forgery ring and members of that ring kidnap Will to stop Lindi from testifying, both men scramble to protect the other. While this mutual worry was sort of funny, I also found it very touching.

Will is not as harmless as he looks, he can protect himself, and one call from him puts three angry Mafiosi at his disposal. Lindi has military training and background in special Ops, so he isn’t the harmless gallery owner most people see him as. Needless to say, between the two of them it is the kidnappers who are in real trouble.

This is an action-filled story with some great humor and some very serious emotions that kept my attention. Both Will and Lindi are great men, and the heat between the two of them was significant. If you like a suspenseful action story with a touch of kink, if an established sub/Dom couple learning all kinds of new things about each other is your thing, and if you’re looking for a read that will make you smile as well as cross your fingers for a happy ending, then you will probably like this novella.

A nice addition to Mrs. Kell's BDSM club series. It was fun seeing and learning about all the characters and their interaction. Will's family was a nice surprise especially when thinking about crime syndicates. They weren't what I was expecting. I wish there were more moments in which Will could have shown how badass he was. Overall a fun read and I'm hoping there will be more books in this series.

Mastering Will offers a nice balance of suspense and BDSM romance. You get the impression you need to read Kell's other BDSM Club stories first, but I don't think you'll be lost if you try this first.

Just love this one and it is a great fit to the series as well. This time we see an established couple that must see their way through a crises together. Love to see all the love Lindi has for Will. And Will's family really came through as well.

Another very sexy short story in the BDSM Club series (3 books currently out). Not a lot of BDSM even though the characters all center around the Club, it's more about the love story. I think this one has a lot more drama than the other 2 and quite the different plot. Very entertaining. This story just came out in 2014 so I hope the author keeps expanding - it's a fun series and Greg needs his story!

Adorable. The story’s structure made perfect use of its short length. Excellent choice of viewpoint shifts. And this is coming from someone who generally does not appreciate imaginary or flashback sex. But here it worked perfectly to illustrate the different levels of knowledge and views of each other at just the right pace.

Yep. Totally sweet story following the author’s usual theme of hidden strengths.

Lindi and Will's story. It was fun learning about Will and his family. The story in general was short. Lindi is part of a ring that takes down a forger who at the time promises revenge. Will gets kidnapped and a rescue mission ensues. Will's family was interesting and it was cool to see a mafia like family act as they did, even if it was a bit unrealistic. The are some minor grammar issues but not much to cry over.
