Nick is an outlawed alpha wolf who is never allowed to be part of or rule a pack again. He’s all alone and has spent his time making money. Now with plenty of wealth, all he needs is a female wolf capable of taking his passion, and he discovers a place where he can buy what he’s looking for.
Clara is a full-figured wolf. To her pack she’s considered an outcast because of her curves. No one wants her, so her family sells her to the highest bidder. Scared and afraid of the man who owns her, she tries her hardest to hate him. But Nick is not all he seems. Not only does he care about her, he awakens a passion Clara never thought possible to feel.
Their time together brings them both joy and love, but all too soon they could be torn apart. The sale of female wolves comes to light, and the collective of alphas has the final decision on whether Nick and Clara can remain together. Can Clara prove to them she’s in love with Nick, or will they take her away because she was sold and not mated to him?
Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound. She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.
I picked up The Alpha’s Virgin Possession because occasionally, I like me some tropey, silly, over-the-top goodness. In this case, the blurb enticed me with exiled, broody shifter + hero buying heroine + BBW virgin. These are all tropes I enjoy when I pick up a light-hearted erotica.
Unfortunately, the writing and story did not meet the expectations I had going in. There were some odd phrasings that made me question the attention to editing and some glaring purple-prose-y inaccuracies like virginal barrier busting and cervix slamming. Oy.
I read to the end because I continued to be entertained, but not necessarily in a good way. This was a below average read for me. What it had going for it was the fun set-up for the hero & heroine, the pretty cover, and some steamy scenes.
You Could Read this one if you like certain tropes: hero buying the heroine, virgin heroine with a nearly indestructible “barrier,” focus on relationship to the exclusion of external plot. But for quality shifter romance or erotica, there are much better examples out there.
Hot and smutty worked for me! Lol. Honestly, this book was good but not amazing. The hero is an outlaw alpha who has had a real raw deal from his pack when he delivered justice for a rape and murder within his pack. The heroine is a sweet little Virgin who has been ridiculed and insulted all her life and must suffer the ultimate insult of having her parents sell her to the outlaw. Story just gets better from there when he tries to be hard ass on her and ends up giving her her first O. Loved when he said "I would make a piss poor Dom" cause he is all about the Pleasure when it comes to his Mate. Yes, he knows that she is meant to be his mate and wants to fair to her by giving her choices and freedom. Things she has never known before. I loved when she was alone in the house for the first time and eats the chocolate and goes for a naked swim. This is something I can relate to. I totally enjoyed them both as a couple, somehow it just worked for me. The fact that she is a bigger girl was great because not every heroine should be a size 2. Hello, real people eat real food! I would recommend with a little caution because it does have anal sex and that may bother some. I say to each their own. A totally enjoyable read and loved the epilogue. Cute times 8.
Short story in need of a better editor. Both characters are under developed, awkward dialogue didn't make sense. The plot made everyone look stupid and it's a shame as it did have potential. The rich H seemed one dimensional and stupid. The h was young, hated by her pack as she's fat. So what does this heroine she do all day? She cooked, ate, baked and ate sugary sweets all day, adding a spot of house work! Really that's a heroine? I have no interest in read this author again.
It's always such a hit or miss with Sam's books. Sometimes they are really good like this one, others not so much. Was there this's spelling and grammatical errors? Yeah, a ton of them. But, I still liked the book.
Nick as the outlaw wolf he is, finds little to take pleasure in. He only cares about money, making lots of money. Even now he’s wealthy and successful, money is what mainly occupies his mind. But lately he is missing the feel of a woman who is capable of taking everything he gives.
Human females are fragile and definitely out of the picture. He figures he needs a wolf female, but how is he going to meet one? With him being outlawed and all. He takes the unorthodox way and buys himself one. He’s desperately in need, what else can he do.
The female, Clara, he buys exceeds his expectations. Her curvaceous body, her scent, her whole being calls to him like no other female. And he finds himself caring and falling for his little redhead. He won’t let anyone take her away from him…not even herself.
Clara has been tormented, even abused because of her curves all her life. When her so called parents had enough of her “disgracing” figure they put her up for sale. Clara fears her new buyer, that he will treat her just as cruel as her pack members or maybe he’ll treat her worse. But the longer she’s around Nick, those doubts fade away and she too begins to fall for him.
All is going in the right direction, till the band of collective alphas comes to pay a visit.
Honestly the first book “Alpha’s Toy” didn’t really do it for me, “Alpha Bait” was better but “The Alpha’s Virgin Possession” is ,in my opinion, the best in this series so far. Love Nick and Clara, love the story and the writing is better in my opinion than in the first two.
Nick seems like a jerk at first, still has his moments through out the book, but there is much more to him. Afterwards I even think of him as honorable. And Clara, her pack and parents hate her just because of her curvaceous body. What is wrong with these people, oh sorry they aren’y people. What is wrong with these wolves?? Her father, who sold her, dares to stir up trouble because he learns how wealthy Nick really is and demands more money…sicko.
My favorite part of the book is this one, I don’t even have to explain why.
“Books.”
“I’ve got plenty of books for you to read.”
“Your taste in books is boring. I’m a woman, Nick.”
“I know.” His hands cupped her breasts making her gasp.
“I like romance books.” Trying to focus on anything while he cupped her breasts was hard. Romance books, she needed romance books. Focus on them.
“Do you want paperbacks, or should I organize an e-reader?” he asked.
“What?”
“I can give you an account for your books, or I can have an e-reader in your hands by the end of the day and you can order whatever the hell you like.”
Nick I just fell in love with you there….where’s my book buying wolf?
I really liked this short story, it’s steamy, it flows well and it has a Nick buying his redhead books. What more do I want. I hope the books in this series keeps improving, will probably read the future books anyhow.

Honest to God, I wasted 45 minutes reading The Alpha's Virgin Possession. I found the writing to be absolutely ridiculous and hope the author is a thirteen year old girl, because otherwise I fear for us. The author really needs to learn to show the reader who is speaking because scenes that look like this; "What are you cooking?" "I'm making my famous curry." "I love your curry." "Me too". Are crap. And then the author sometimes adds in a third person and you're even more confused! I could drone on and on about how bad this was, but why bother. I'll be as lazy as this author >.< Also the epilogue made me laugh, does the author really believe it's possible for a woman to have four sets of twins in six years? Like I know this is fiction, but that's not even pretend believable.

Not much to say about this one. It's kind of a Beauty and the Beast story, but not very engaging. The heroine is a doormat and the hero is so introverted he sees little beyond his dislike of the world. Unfortunately I didn't feel like his character grows or hers either for that matter. Problems get solved miraculously without any help from the MCs. And that's that. It was an entertaining read but just meh.
Nick is an outlawed alpha wolf, he will never again be allowed a pack of his own. He wants a female wolf, but being outlawed no pack will allow him to mate with their females. Then he discovers that there are female wolf shifters for sale at a price. He buys Clara for 1 million dollars. Her family are ashamed of her, as none of their pack males want to mate with her. They have badly treated Clara, she doesn't expect Nick to treat her any better.
Another great shifter romance from this author. I really enjoyed it. It was hot as well. There's also a good story. I loved the characters Nick was all alpha male. Sexy, growly, and a bit grumpy. Clara was a delight. I hope Dean is getting his own story.
As with all Sam Crescent books we have a curvy female, Clara and an alpha male, Nick only this time they're shifters making Nick an actual alpha. Clara has been unhappy all her life, unwanted and unloved due to her curves, her pack treated her appallingly and eventually sold her, they sold her to Nick. Now Nick may be rich and alpha but he's been outlawed which means he can never be part of or have a pack of his own again so the only chance he has to actually have a female wolf is to buy one so this is exactly what he does, it may be illegal but, well he's outlawed anyway so what can they do. I have to say I really enjoyed this book, I loved both Nick and Clara and we mustn't forget Dean.
Stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hot: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Passionate: 😍😍😍😍 Excellent, the story is very good, perfect in the begin to end... 😍😍 Nick and Clara... 🥰🥰 is beautiful.. They are lovely e perfect together... I loved reading their story, sad that it came to an end.... 🥰🥰 Good Reading!! 🎀
I am confused by this collection though. Not one of the books in this series has a similar single shifter universe. Everyone one has a different set of shifter community rules. Like one book has packs that are individual and aren’t united under one central continuing storyline. But this one has a united collective of alphas that rule them all.
Or in one shifter book they know their mate instantly but in another book in this collection they don’t seem to have that instinct. It’s more an intense desire that eventually grows into them choosing to mate.
Anyway, it’s just an FYI that it’s not a uniform series. It’s only a collection of separate shifter stories. Which is why I’ve read them out of order. Each book doesn’t affect the other in any way.
Nick was an outlawed alpha wolf. Having no pack, being stripped of it, he was looking for a female wolf. He was tired of the inability of a human female to take him. Clara’s pack was nothing but cruel. Her father and mother cared nothing for the runt of the pack. She was to be given to Nick, via purchase. But would he be as cruel as her pack, her parents? I do love that when you first meet Nick, you think he is a jerk and user. But that isn’t the case. He does have a heart. He doesn’t take Clara against her will or treat her like she is unworthy. He sees the beauty in and out of her. The connection between these two is two souls crying out. He teaches her about intimacy and passion. These passion that builds between them is hot. Looking forward to the next in the series.
If you are looking for a hot insta love book ,then this is for you. Nick is a outlawed alpha. He needs a female wolf to take the fucking that he intends to give. So he buys clara for 1 million dollars .
Clara is the runt of the litter. Her parents are abusive and mean because she is fat. Over the course of a month ,nick and clara fall in love. But troubles arise in the paradise when the collective of alphas want to take her back. I would give it a 4 stars. But i would've liked the book to be a little more long. ( the punishment scene in the book is quite HAWTT ) . And 5 stars for the cute hea <3 #2
At start, Nick came off as a jerk. But of course, things changed. Clara came off, worried about her future. The one thing I hated, was the repetitiveness. Her family's treatment of her. His money. Him being outlawed from his pack. All of it was said about 50 times. The things I liked. Him being rude and crude in a certain way, towards her. He never treated her badly in any way. He cared about her from the start. He was just gruff.
The first book I read, I ignored the inconsistencies. I figured I’d missed something. This book She wore a robe to breakfast He said take it off or you’ll stink She waited until she was seated to take it off He said something about not being able to see her thighs but her nipples were available to be seen Then later he talked about seeing her nipples through the shirt she was wearing…Umm…no…this isn’t consistent. The author continually forget what was written.
I enjoyed this a lot. It was short, it was really fast paced, it was entertaining as fuck! I loved the background story and I loved the relationship between Clara and Nick. I always search for cliche tropes with smut that are short to read once in a while and this book delivered! 👏
I am definitely going to read the collection now. Peace ✌️
Don't know why I love book with a girl with a bit of curves but I do, plus it was a shifter book which are one of my favourite things ever. I'll let you in on a secret, it's more fun if you listen to chunky by Bruno Mars while reading this, don't ask me why it just is. 😅
With a rocky start, Nick and Clara finally got their HEA! This is an amazing story of an outlawed Alpha, that finds love in such an unexpected way. Clara is a female wolf that also finds love. Journey with Nick and Clara as they navigate their world.
Me encantan las historias de esta autora, necesitaba una dosis de estos libros, por la manera tan fácil en que se desarrolla todo sin tantas complicaciones es lo que necesitaba, después de leer cosas complicadas...
