Loved this book. It's a great overview of women and politics. Great to use in classes and great for non-academics who want to know more about the topic.

I was under the impression that women have primarily achieved equality with men until I read this book. Women are nowhere remotely equal to men politically and economically, although we have caught up in the educational fields. This was a heavy read, chock-full of information, but it was great for educational purposes. Short-ish chapters. Lots of infographics, pictures, tables and graphs.

This book was chosen as the textbook for my Women in Politics class and it was very enlightening. I really enjoyed the way it was written. I caught a couple of errors in the graphs, but otherwise, the book itself was useful!

This is a good book if you want to get the facts about women's representation in the world. It isn't necessarily a quick read and not overly interesting, but it's a good start to learn a little more about the barriers that women face in the world.
