Invaluable

What more can I say. As a companion to saints and memorials of the Anglican calendar this is invaluable. Would be a good complement to the Roman Catholic materials as well. Readings are taken from ancient and contemporary sources, often with alternatives for the same feast day. Use it with “celebrating the Seasons” by the same compiler.

One of those extensive, page-a-day yearbooks which always offers up something new and distinctive for the reader. Various saints from the Anglican calendar are celebrated here in the form of brief histories and readings from their most famous works. There is some slight repetition in the subjects sometimes, but for the sheer breadth of content this is well worth getting to grips with.
