After reading the synopsis for this book, I was looking forward to an interesting read. I have to say I was really not fond of this story and disappointed overall. The writing seemed choppy-it didn't flow well at all making for an awkward read. The continual use of "wanna" instead of "want to" and "gonna" instead of "going to" was annoying and made the characters sound immature. The book didn't seem to have any true focus, and the arc with Karly's best friend/ex-boyfriend in the last third of the book threw me for a loop since I don't recall seeing anything at all hinting at any issues with him prior to that twist popping up.

While at first the characters sounded like your typical romance story characters, as the story goes on some of the behavior becomes erratic. And the relationship between Karly and Nicholas felt like it moved way too fast. Emma, Nicholas' daughter, sounded more like a 9 or 10 year old than a 4 year old. The secondary characters of Alexis, Larry, Nicholas' parents-they all came across just fine in what they said and how they acted...Bradley a bit less so.

There are continuity and timeline issues; points where they're in one place (in public), then suddenly they must not be because you're at the start of a sex scene, but there's not any kind of break in the reading to indicate you've moved locations/scenes.

And then there's the ending. A truly nasty cliffhanger with no idea why or how it could have come about-and how Karly reacts just doesn't make sense (I can't say more without really spoiling it). I actually had quite a few issues with believability with this story.

While others may enjoy this, it really wasn't to my liking. Sadly, I can only give this 1.5 stars.

Karly and Nicholas weren't looking for love, but sometimes love finds you when you're least expecting it.

Starting over wasn't easy for Karly, but when everything she's ever known and loved had been taken away from her, leaving behind the physical and emotional scars of her past, starting over was her only option. Graduating college along with her former boyfriend, Neil, things are finally falling into place, and she moves with her friend and mentor, Alexis, while looking for teaching jobs. For the first time since meeting in college, Karly and Neil are parting ways so he can find himself while backpacking through Europe. But Karly isn't left alone for long, and for the first time since her and Neil broke up, she gives love a chance.

Nicholas is a divorcee with a young daughter, and when his ex-wife decides she wants to pursue a career in modeling, she selfishily pushes them away. Nicholas moves back home to be closer to his family and start a new job, but when he first sets eyes on Karly (who just so happens to be living with his sister Alexis) sparks fly and the connection between them in undeniable. Being with someone again scares him and he's worried their relationship will crash and burn just like it had with Jamie.

This story had me swooning, laughing and crying from the first page to the last. And the end…oh man, I did not see it coming! My heart was ripped right out of my chest! Well done, S. Moose! I can't wait to read Vision of Destiny!

Vision of Love is a great book of love, loss, and learning to love again. I read this book over one weekend and it kept me engaged the whole time. Karly is a very likeable character who has her fair share (and more) of bad luck in life. After being abused and mis-treated by the ones who are supposed to love her the most, she is in no rush to fall in love and trust again. Nicholas is the picture perfect guy, good looking, wealthy, but what he has that most don’t in his position is a child, yep, he’s a hot single dad. (swoon). The story is well thought out and there are a lot of beautiful moments between the characters that give you a wide range of emotions to feel. I was completely in love with Nicholas and his charming ways.

I will warn you, it does end on a cliff hanger, but remember, it is also the first in the series. I personally like cliff hangers because it is certain that you will get more of your favorite characters. I can’t wait for more of Karly & Nichols… and hopefully Alexis & Larry ;)

All I can say is that the beginning totally broke my heart. The level of pain and heartbreak Karly had to experience at the beginning just broke my heart. I can't imagine going through what she did, and having to go on with life carrying around all of the scars. Her best friend, and former boyfriend, Neil was one of my favorite characters along with Alexis who I thought was so spunky and full of life. then in comes, Alexis' brother, Nicholas, who is completely swoon worthy and passionate. Karly and Nicholas have to face their own demons in order to move on to the future and with so many twists and turns it's hard for them to find that peace. They get there, but then ...
Okay, that's all I say about it. In the end, this book takes you on a rollercoaster ride full of emotions, and let me tell you ... the steamy scenes are HOT! I can't wait to read the next one in the series and will definitely recommend this book.

From nearly the get go ,this read was not feeling smooth for me.Like a record playing on the wrong speed,the journey reads as contrived,over extended and artificially paced! This was verified by the totally out of the blue twist\conclusion.
So I will move on to book two,simply to determine if rational explanation exists...

After I read the prologue, I was hooked; I had to find out what happened to Karly- and why her father was such a horrible man to her. I connected with her and had to make sure she was ok. Karly is a young, funny, caring, positive, loving college grad- and has gone through so much in her life that you can't help but love her attitude and ask how she goes on after everything that has happened to her.

Nicholas is gorgeous, but also damaged in a different way. He's a 28 year old, single dad. They meet and sparks fly from their first moment. It started off a flirty and fun banter- but every now and then I wanted to strangle him for being such an ass to Karly. They tease each other- and sometimes its super angsty. He had his reasons for acting like this in some ways- namely his witch of an ex, Jamie, but I still was angry with him for acting the way he did. The chemistry couldn't be denied as they spent more time together and got to know each other bette. They both have broken pasts- Karly more so because of her family life- and that's one of the reasons why I rooted for them.

I also really liked the supporting characters; especially Emma, Nicholas's 4 year old daughter. Karly was her nanny, and they formed such a special bond with one another.

There were some shocking- OMG moments, of course- where I think my husband had to pick my jaw up off of the floor. There were just as many totally sweet, gushing, and lovey dovey moments as well. And of course there were some hot, sexy moments that made you say, "Damn!"

It does end with a cliffhanger, and I was a mess. I did not see that ending coming! It sort of confused and baffled me- I didn't understand why Nicholas and why he was acting the way he did- or Karly. I can't wait to read the second part of this book, I have to find out what happens to them all, why did Emma's mom came back? What does this mean for Karly and Nicholas? Will they get married? SO MANY QUESTIONS!! Great job by S. Moose and I am excited to read more of her works!

A complimentary copy provided by the author for a honest review.

Now, I leave ALOT out of my review due to not liking to give spoilers, but trust me, there is zoo much WTH, WTF moments in this book for me.

This was the first book for my by this author and I was really excited to read. I have a couple of her books and just haven't read YET. The prologue to this book really hooked me in and I couldn't wait to read.

Karly- After surviving an abusive childhood by the hands of her father while her mother turned the other way, she finished college and moves to start her life over. Over the course of the book, we learn that Karly also dealt with the loss of her high school boyfriend, Bradley( put in motion by HIS mother) and also her college boyfriend Neil. And how those relationships ended.

Karly is a very strong person and I really liked how the author didn't make her this weak, damsel in distress.

Nicholas- 28 y/o single parent to his daughter 4 y/o Emma after his wife Jamie decided her career as a model was more important than being a mother and wife. Nicholas barely survives dealing with the loss of his marriage before he decides to get clean and put Emma's welfare first.

Karly moves in with Alexis, who we find out is Nicholas' sister. Karly and Nicholas were brought together by the meddling sister, Alexis. She sees 2 great people that she loves lonely and needing one another.

I did struggle with these 2 characters getting together. Nicholas to me was a jerk. He wasn't very nice to Karly. He didn't like her around other men but he didn't want to be with her either. He couldn't "risk" Emma not being his priority.

Again, I did struggle with getting ion the story but it eventually grabbed me in again and the ending was a WTH happened moment. I'm so confused and intrigued and to the reason for this twist. Also PISSED as all get out as to what happens between Karly/Nicholas/Jamie & then Karly/Nicholas. Left on such a CLIFFHANGER!! I'm going to want to know what the heck happened.

I look forward to reading the other books from S. Moose.

I hadn't planned on reading Nicholas and Karly's story, I wanted to read Vision of Hope but as I read I was confused and decided to needed to start at the beginning. I'm glad I did because now I have background of all these characters to understand his story. Lets hope I like it.

I did not care for Nicholas and Karly's. I did....sort of... But, not at first.

I felt their fall was rushed and very cliché. Every old popular word or quote we've all once loved at one time was used as they got to know each other. I did really feel them as they fell in love. Once they were officially a couple I did start to enjoy the story more. Even with not getting them in the beginning, this was a 3 star book for me.

But then some crazy crap happen and I finished with really hating Nicholas and hoping to everything holy that Karly wouldn't take him back. I get the loaded twist and I loved that it ended on the note it did. What I didn't care for was the type of person Jamie was made out to be and her being the epitome of doom for Nicholas and Karly. But I hate Nicholas more because he was the jack*ss that actually took her up on her offer. She was a horrible mother and wife but you want to give it another go because you're feeling sorry for her? Are you kidding me?

What happened here? I was reading and enjoying this story and did not see the plot twist coming!

From the beginning, you will be hooked just like I was. Karly is the victim of the most brutal attack. The loss of her parents, both emotionally and physically, is a burden she will never get over. Rather than wallow in pity and despair, she moves on with her life, achieving some major goals.
She is a survivor. Through all of this, she still relishes life and embraces each day with optimism. She is the kind of heroine I love in books!

Karly and Nicholas' love story is delightful. That give and take, you know, the banter and the possibilities of those new feelings and not knowing what the other person is thinking, make their courtship all the more endearing. Once they both give in to their feelings, the pages are on fire!

Now for the fly in the ointment... Jaimie. She is the burr on my side in this story. WTH!!!!! This woman walked away! I felt like I could slap her silly for being so selfish. OK, I know she is just a character in a book. But really!!! She is everything I do not want to meet in real life.

Vision in Destiny will be releasing soon. I cannot wait to see how this all shakes out.

Book hangover over here. WTH just happened? My heart is broken, now I have to drive to Wilmington, find Jamie and kick her a$$, knock some sense into Nicholas and hug Karly! Can not stop crying. And don’t even get me started on Neil.

Truly an engaging read! Excellent character development, funny realistic dialogue, drama and sexual tension. Now if I could get a HEA for these two I’d be a very happy girl!

I'm not going to finish it.
I stopped at 55%.
You know when you're reading a book and the story isn't totally shit but close to it? And suddenly you notice that the author made a HUGE blooper mistaking simple facts? So yeah, that happened here. How many different ways can main character's mother die? She can shoot herself(beginning of the book) and then overdose(55% through).
No-no.

Karly is getting ready to graduate to college when she has the opportunity to move in with her best friend and mentor Alexis. A Boston native, she has been attending the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She’s packing up and moving to Wilmington. She doesn’t have a job lined up yet and her best friend (and ex-boyfriend) Neil is getting ready to leave for an extended trip to Europe. Despite all of the odds against her, she is hopeful for a fresh start in a new city. She doesn’t have a family to speak of, having been a victim of child abuse at the hands of her father. Her parents died before she graduated from high school as a result of a murder/suicide after an attack by her father that left her scarred for life. Karly’s scars go far beneath the surface. When she meets Alexis’s tall, dark, and handsome brother Nicholas, the single father arriving from California with his adorable daughter Emma in tow, can she get over the pain of her past and move on? Will a stranger from her past come in and change everything in the meantime?

Nicholas wants nothing more than to give his daughter Emma the perfect life. He married his high school sweetheart Jamie and thought they would be together forever, raising the family of his dreams. But when Jamie leaves just days after Emma’s birth and divorce papers arrive just a couple of days later, he soon finds that the only one that Emma can depend on his him, and he’s made it his life’s goal to provide everything to her. He and Jamie decide to share a living space with a “friends with benefits” arrangement for a couple of years while she pursues her career as a model, simply because it keeps her in Emma’s life. But when Emma spends more and more time away from home, Nicholas decides to pack up Emma and head back to be nearer his family in North Carolina. Will Nicholas get over his heartbreak and finally trust again? Will Jamie really stay away, despite her assurances that she’s not interested in playing house?

I wanted to like this book; really, I did. But unfortunately the book reads more like an outline for a good story, rather than being a complete story on its own. The entire narrative of the book is telling me the story rather than showing me the story. There are very few details about things that seem really important towards the plot and character development that I just couldn’t be persuaded to take much interest in any of it. I do think that Ms. Moose has an interesting story to tell, however I really don’t fell she did it effectively.

Some examples: *possible spoilers* I don’t normally do spoilers but if I happen to give something away I’d just like to warn you in advance. It’s hard to give examples without giving away too much; I’ll try my best!

At one point Karly finds out Neil is in rehab for dependency of painkillers and antidepressants (we won’t even go there). This entire story arc came out of the blue and was really glossed over, even at the conclusion of it. There was a far greater story to be told there, considering how close of a relationship Neil and Karly were supposed to have had. They were best friends, former boyfriend/girlfriend and the whole thing really wasn’t a big deal, when in essence it was a tragedy.

Another major hole in the plot is why did her parents get the way they did? The family was well off; life wasn’t always the way it was when the abuse started. What started it? That should have been addressed in this first book. It is a major story arc for explaining Karly’s issues.

There are some major holes in the timeline of the story. Within a couple days span Karly graduates from college and then she, Nicholas, and Emma leave for Hawaii. “I’ve been in the worst mood for the past few weeks and all I want to do is drink.” Wait a minute. She said that the best day of her life was just 3 days ago. This isn’t the only time we see a glaring issue with the timeline.

At about the halfway point it seems that every scene becomes a lead up to a sex scene. Don’t get me wrong, I love my books steamy, but this was all about sex for the sake of having sex. Makeup sex, club sex, bathroom sex…it became a laundry list of “o.k. where now?”, and to be honest, there could have been a little bit better writing. For example, “Her lips meet mine as she humps the shit out of my hard cock.” I know it is probably a personal preference thing (and I like ‘em dirty) but this screamed juvenile to me with the word “humps”.

Back to the “telling” vs. “showing”…”After a few hours, we all are done and I can’t help but smile when I look in the mirror. I love my new do.” After having spent hours at the spa getting a makeover, we learn very little of what happened. At one point Nicholas tells her how much he likes it, and other than she now has bangs (which apparently she didn’t used to) that’s all we know. For something that seemed so important to write a scene about, there was just so little detail. There were many scenes like this. Yes, they may seem inconsequential, but when you are trying to set a scene, you need to paint the picture of what is going on.

The level of angst in this book is off the charts. I read a lot of NA and yes, there’s a lot of angst, but this was like watching a tennis match of “I love him, I hate him”, “She’s everything to me, I can’t do this”. There was a constant back and forth between the two of them where they were constantly contradicting themselves through words and actions. It got old and it got old quick. They couldn’t be more in love, then next thing we know, he’s calling her a bitch because of her behavior. Another example is Nicholas’s relationship with his daughter…we hear though the entire book of how great of a dad he is to Emma, how he does everything to ensure her life is perfect but we hear very little of how he is actually a part of her life. At one point we even get a “Call me a bad father, I don’t care.” What?

This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Moose, and from what I have gathered, this book is a little different from what she usually writes. Perhaps I should try another of her books and see if there is a difference because I’m not sure if I will continue with this series. I’m just not sure if the angst level is worth it. If this book went through a comprehensive content editing it could be a really interesting story, however in it’s current form, it leaves a bit to be desired. I’m comfortable giving this one three stars. Again, she has the start of something, but it seems it needs quite a bit more development.

This is a 5 stars read for me!

Karly has been through so much. Abused by her father who is a drunk and a drug addict. When her father is high or drunk Karly is being abused...she would get punched in the face, dragged down the stairs, kicked in her stomach and she even got cut on the face with a jagged glass. I felt like I was the one experiencing everything Karly was going through. All the bad things that she experienced did not stop her from being a Summa Cum Laude in college. And with her ex-boyfriend now best friend Neil, by her side, she survived her horrible past.

Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

Nicholas a father of Emma, who is four years old. And his first priority is Emma and to succeed in life. He's 28 years old and single and lonely. His wife left him and his daughter. He dates but does not offer love. He's afraid to love again because of what happened with his ex-wife. Gave her everything but just took him for granted. I fell in love with Nicholas through and through. He became Karly's rock. He made her experience things she's never experienced before. He is a walking sex on a stick.

Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

Karly and Nicholas fall in love instantly. He is so sweet to her and I can't help but fall in love with him even more. Loved how patient, he was with her and was always there for her and totally trust her in almost everything that she did. But it doesn't mean that it's all rainbows and unicorns(my favorite line), when the ex-wife shows up and try to break them apart. Will LOVE be enough to keep Karla and Nicholas together and move forward with their future? I guess will just have to find out in the next book. Which will kill me because of the wait.

Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

This story is about losing someone very important in your life and taking a risk on falling in love once again. Not knowing if you will be crushed by someone you love is very scary. I cried and laughed with this book. It felt very realistic, like I was the one going through the grief of losing someone I loved. Fighting to stay strong and knowing how to tackle a serious heart wrenching, emotional hand you are dealt. Staying strong and trying to stay positive isn't easy. I will forever love this book and will come back for more. Just relating to the story is a total pull for me. Personal experience is hard to accept and fight. And when I had the chance to read this book, I was crying ugly... I can't wait for book two on the series. It will be sometime in August. If you have not read this book, I suggest you read it before book two releases.

Yet ANOTHER book by S Moose that totally moved me and had me an emotional mess! What the hell is with this author trying to make me be all over the place? Because Its working.

I was really excited for this book. As I am with All S's books. So when the day finally came that I could sink my teeth into it everything was put aside and I sat down and read it in one sitting..... Don't give me a good book and except me to put it down it the moto of that little story LOL.

So they story starts off with our Girl Karly. Everything is perfect she's just been sent on a shopping spree by her dad. He told her to get what she wanted it was all on him. Yeeeeah to bad he didn't remember it that way..... Her life as we first think it is not all rainbows and butterfly's. The hell Karly has been going threw has been happening behind closed doors,so while she looks as if she has the life she always wanted,she wouldn't wish it on a dog.

One night it all come's to a head and her life is turned upside down.... So she run's. She leave's her 'home' and starts over. Leaving everyone and anything that remind's her of there behind.

She does the whole college thing,totally alone. But that's okay for her. I actually think it was just what she needed at the time. She doesn't stay alone for long as she meets someone.....

But this 'someone' isn't the ONE. Oh know. Her someone is waiting for her she just doesn't know it yet.

Enter Nicolas.....

He's 27 and heart broken. His wife and mother to his daughter. The so called love of his life want's out of this family. Yep you heard me right. She wants to quit it to go for her dreams. Forget that she's a mam and that she has the love of her life at home..... Are you feeling how much I don't like this girl? Cause I really don't!

Anyhoooo. He's angry and in need of family. THIS is how he meets are Karly. Literally threw together thanks to some family medalling and pushing. But don't get me wrong he wants her from the moments he sees her. She's the same. BUT he doesn't think he's ready. He's not done pinning for that THING who left him and there daughter. But sometimes the head wants what the hearts not ready for. And one of them has to win.....

This book has just the right amount of sweet and sexiness to keep you gripped from the get go. AND it is full of drama and angst. As both of them have there demons and past's as you can imagine. So I would totally get one clicking this one. AND there's another one to this series...... More DRAMA! ;)

I just finished Visions of Love and I liked it. It's one of those stories about not having anything to do with love but then it happens when you at least expect it. Nicholas is divorced from Jaime and they have a little girl named Emma. She is the main reason he wakes up in the morning, why he works and why he doesn't want to love another again. He wants stability but also doesn't want to go through heartache again. Karly hasn't had the best childhood and even though adulthood. Her dad was abusive when he was high or drunk. Her mom took pills but when they were sober it was good. One night Karlys father tries to kill her. Her mother kills the dad and ends up killing herself by overdosing so again not a good experience for her. She goes to college and meets Alexis. They become fast friends and when she graduates ends up living with Alexis. Alexis's brother is. Nicholas and this is now they meet. Both are not looking for anything but cannot help the attraction. They both are stubborn and have decisions to make if they want to see where this goes. You will have to read and see what happens.

I liked the story. I thought that it flowed really well and liked that it was in both of their point of views so you can really get a good sense of how they are feeling and decisions that they make. Just an FYI this ends i a cliffie I was expecting it. It was too good towards the end to be a HEA. I really wish it wasn't done that way but can see why the author did it that way. There is still some questions that we need answered. I'm invested so I want to see what happens.

Nicholas is a hottie. He works hard for his family and you can tell he really loves them and it looks like will do anything for them. Karly is a sweet girl. I felt bad with what she had to go through and I just wanted her to have her happily ever after. I really liked their chemistry but I wanted more from them. It's like I want to be so immersed in the story that I don't want to know where I begin and they end. I felt at times there was a disconnect with the characters. Did it take away from the story? A little but I still liked it.

I also liked the secondary characters. Emma, Alexis, Larry. I thought that they gave good sound advice to help with these two. I excited to read more. I definitely want to know what happens.

If you are looking for a quick yet sexy read then this is for you.

We meet Karly a girl that from the outside looks like she's living the perfect life. Karly is secretly living a life of hell. With an abusive father and hurt by everyone she's ever been close to Karly wants to get away from it all and start a new life. After finding the courage to finally leave Karly is ready for her new beginning even if it means doing it alone. She is determined to leave her horrible past behind forever.

After moving and getting through college Karly and her friend Alexis are looking for teaching jobs. It just so happens Alexis has a swoon worthy brother named Nicholas. When Karly meets Nicholas she is drawn to him. It's an attraction like no other. Her guard is up though, and she isn't sure anyone will ever love her the way she always dreamed of.

Nicholas is a now single Daddy just trying to raise his daughter Emma on his own. With an ex that didn't want a family and walked out on them Nicholas is forced to pick up the pieces and try to move on for his daughters sake. Nicholas has trust issues, and a broken heart. He notices the attraction to Karly immediately but fear steps in to intervene. He just can't open his heart up again, and risk that kind of pain. He has an instant connection with Karly and its hard to fight those feelings, but it's not just himself he worries about he has a daughter that he has to protect too.

We watch both characters conflicted and in so much pain. Your heart will break because you want them together so bad, but as soon as they get close something pulls one of them back into their past and the wall goes back up all over again.

Just as things start falling into place and the two become inseparable we get slammed by someone from the past! I won't give that away, but it will leave you yelling at your kindle! You will cheer Nicholas and Karly on as they help each other become whole again. These broken hearts both need mended but it's going to take a lot to get there.

I give Vision Of Love 5 Glittery Stars! S.Moose sucks you in and leaves a piece of your heart behind with these two characters! You wont want to put this one down! Read it, love it and be ready to swoon over Nicholas! <----Holy Hotness! This does end in a cliffy but I honestly don't mind! I'll be stalking S .Moose for the sequel to this awesome crazy ride!!

Normally I HATE books written in the 1st person, I read them but I really really don't like them cause. You always just get the story from one person's point of view... but this book did it cool, even though written in the first person, each chapter was one of the main characters... I liked that. Though one chapter. Bradley's. seemed like a total waste of space... maybe he's reason for speaking will come out in the second book.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Karly had a very hard life with an abusive father... Nicholas had a hard lesson in love when the woman he loved, since high school. leaves him and their daughter to become a model.
You'd think these two people would have little trust for anyone they'd never find love again, but not in the world of a romance novel.
I LOVED this book until the ending. It had a very sad one, but makes me want to read the second book in this series, like right now, just to find out what the hell happened. I thought Karly and Nicholas (never call him Nicky) were going to drag out the trust thing when it came to love, but I liked that they didn't. They were willing to take a chance very quickly making the rest of the story worth reading. The little conflicts they had were sweet and understandable when it come to a relationship between two people who had a very hard past. Karly was a little bit annoying and kind of hard on Nicholas at sometimes, but I think it was more of a defensive thing. As for Nicholas, I think he handled some of the conflicts Karly threw at him very well, especially when it came to some of the guys in her past... they seemed to be doing well that is until the BOMB in the end.
So now I'm off to read the second book just so I know what happened. I was so loving Nicholas, he was being a brave, smart, trusting kind of guy basically from jump so WHY didn't he tell Kayly what happened... that kind of annoyed the hell out of me, makes me wounder what Jamie (the woman who left him and her child) had over him to make him hurt Karly the way he did... I think if Karly had stayed Nicholas would have told her the truth, but if she did they'd be no book two. LOL
I dont even know how to put into words what I feel for this book. My feelings are all over the place. First off, I was drawn to this book for the simple fact that it is about a single father. How often do you read a NA book about a man who was once married, has a daughter and she lives with him?? I can answer that for you..... it doesnt come around often. I love S. Moose because she doesnt give you the typical story line. She gives a little extra with a twist. All of her books are different and crosses a boundaries that others may not jump into.
Karly and Nicholas have a past and both experienced broken hearts. Karly's path is more darker than Nicholas' but he doesnt scare him away. I see why this was called Vision of Love and its because they both get a vision/glimpse of love through their connection. They trust again and let go. I loved the scenes with Emma (Nicholas' daughter). Karly played the step-mom role really well and Emma is so adorable that you cant help but to fall in love with her. Because of the ending and my love for these characters, I cant wait for book 2. Hurry up August.
The writing needs work. The plot had potential but there was just too much craziness and it was not realistic. I understand Fiction novels don't always need to be realistic, but there was just too many strange things that happened between the books and the timeline didn't add up either. I really wanted to love these books but I just couldn't.
It started off pretty good. I got about 65% the way thru and I could not take it anymore. The longer I read it, the more I lost interest. I usually do not make this far and give up but really there was nothing keeping me interested.
A twisting, turning rollercoaster ride of emotions!
On my soul, this story was one twisting, turning emotional roller coaster! This was a story written with so many feelings and emotions I laughed, I cried, I feel in love and my heart broke more than once!! S Moore has written a masterful story that will touch your heart and soul!
Karly was such a strong female character, she had endured so much and truly deserved to find happiness. I loved her sweet spirit and loving nature even after her tragic past , she was still able to open her heart and fall in love.
Nicholas was a broken man, after his wife left him and his daughter . I loved how these two broken people were able to discover love again and boy did they have the sparks flying!! I loved the life they built together and how beautiful S. Moose wrote their story. This book captured my from the beginning and I greedily read every page. The end left me hanging on the edge of a very high cliff, so you better have book 2 downloaded and ready!
This story from start to cliffhanger had me ugly crying.
The characters will grip at your heart and pull you in.
Karly's backstory will have you in tears wand wish you could help her.
Nicolas's story is sad and hai daughter Emma is adorable
When these two meet there is an instant spark that you can't deny. They try to fight it hr sooner or later you know they will give in.
The laughs and tears of how they make it to where they are is amazing. But the cliffhanger..I didn't see that coming at all. Ready to dive into book 2 to see what happens.
WTF
Let me start by saying I loved this book until the last few pages and then I wanted to hurl it. Starts out really dramatic. I felt so bad for Karly, her childhood sucked, she gets dumped by her high school boyfriend, her best friend dies. Just when I thought things were gonna work out with Nicholas something happens. I'll have to read the next book to find out what happens.
Intense!!
Nicholas and Karl have lived through their own personal hell, different yet just as equally tragic. It made them build walls and push people away....until they found each other. Definitely not your typical HEA but I can't wait to read the rest of their story to find out if they actually get their HEA and if so, is gonna be together or seperate.....
Great read
I haven't read many stories from this author as of yet, but I'm really enjoying her writing. I loved her characters in this story and the storyline itself was awesome. I'm looking forward to continuing Karly and Nicholas journey.
