AWESOME BOOK! SHOULD BE REQUIRED READING For ALL!

Life Lessons From Nature? Wow, yes it is. And boy did I get some great ones in here. The book is filled with valuable lessons and wisdom. The author ask and states many great questions, lik; "Do you wanto to be merely existing from day to day or "Living Life to Its Fullest?" The author poses this thought through the story of The Ugly Duckiling. More or less, you can be like most of the flock doing most normal everday things and daily actions day-to-day in a protected invironment (which makes most people happy & content) or you can be inspired by others who want and achive more and live your live your life to its fullest and your best abilities. There are all sorts of analogies with Humans and Mother Nature a various animals and creators like; Bees, Elephants, Monkeys, Eagles, Swans and more. He even talks about Napoleon, Hannibal and His Elephants and Charlemagne. This book is obsolutely wonderful. My only regret is that I didn't have a book like this 20 years ago. It would have been great and would have helped me tremendously. Well, it will now. YThis book should be "required ready" for High School students all over America. Even the World! I loved it, I have it, and I'll refer to it often. Thanks Elvis!

I love the idea of this book. In the rat race of today's life I think we all have at least one element that we would like to change. This book helps us to get the most out of life by imitating nature.

It's a fascinating concept really. Animals adapt because they must. They must learn a method of surviving that uses the least energy yet yields the best results. It's almost like the opposite of what most people (like me do). We work like dogs just to barely scrape a living but we don't spend enough time on the things that are really important.

This is a short, one sitting read by the ideals will stay with you much longer. It's broken down into manageable parts such as Motivation and Natures Technological Prowess. Each part is then further broken down into chapters that deal with a different animal and subject.

It's incredibly well researched and I can't think of anyone who wouldn't benefit from reading it! Highly recommended!

This interesting book has a section on warfare by animals. The war between the hornet and
the honey bee is set up as the parallel between the Allied Side and the Axis Side.
This is a very interesting perspective that I have never thought of. Also very interesting is the example
of the killer whale hunting on land ? What ? A marine predator hunting on land? Yes. This is the military
strategy of surprise and awe. And also attack your enemy where he least expects you.
It is the animal's version of military review journal.

Walk into a books store or visit the non-fiction section of a library and I guarantee you will find countless “Self Help” books telling you that their perspective on life enabled them to be successful, and if you follow their practices you can become successful too. What a load of crap! Or is it? Personally, I detest books that read more like an author trying to sell me their beliefs oppose to stimulating my thoughts. However, something happened recently…a novel written by Elvis Newman entitled Life Lessons from Nature, fall upon my desk and became a new found treasure. All I could say while reading this book was, “Now this is how a self help book should read!”

Newman’s Life Lessons from Nature, is filled with beautiful pictures and heeded messages. And while reading I found myself asking self-reflecting questions that caused me to search my inner-self for answers, oppose to allowing the author’s impressions to become etched into my mind as the only way to find and walk in purpose. What I love about this book is Newman chose to ask questions that would provoke mental conversations by educating us on our naturalistic selves.

Masterfully written, Newman indirectly addresses the god-like personalities that so many humans have and showed just how we all can learn from the trees, the bees, and even the mice…. How we are all experiencing life and everything living has the same purpose…, fulfilling its PURPOSE!

I could go on and on about this interesting read, but instead I want to share with you a few quotes I took from the book…. “All masters were once disasters;” “Life rewards action;” “How are you equipped for success…;” And my personally favorite, overcoming your “glass ceiling.” ~Elvis Newman

If you are traveling down the road of self evaluation and or purpose this is a MUST READ!

****We give Life Lesson from Nature, four out of five stars!

Happy reading!

This book is a philosophical treatise on how to make yourself into a better and more successful person. If we were to copy nature's tactics, then we would be successful in our endeavors. The author brings in examples from nature to show how it could be done. Since nature has honed its craft over time, it has it down to an art. And mimicry is the best form of flattery.
Napoleon is compared to an Orca whale. A whale that waits and plans its attack on a helpless baby dolphin. The fight of the old Queen Bee and the new contender for Queen Bee is compared to the fight of the political parties--Republican vs. Democratic--where there's only one victor. The most patient insect is the Cicada, who waits 15-17 years to be hatched.
The author has interesting insights on how we should live and what goals we should be pursuing. The tactics used by animals and insects are inspiring. The yearly migration of the wildebeest is the most inspiring. We could learn a lot from animals. They plot and maneuver with the dexterity of human beings.
But do we want to pick up all the habits shown by animals? Do we want to weed out the weakest of the flock or herd in order to kill it? Could success only be determined by tricks and heavy-handed attacks?
This book definitely makes you think. Once you've read it, you can decide for yourself if nature is the best predictor for success. And to achieve success, do you want to mimic the actions of successful people?

A JEWEL! "Life Lessons from Nature" has touched and effected me profoundly. I just passed it to my 15-year old daughter as a must read. In my opinion, it should be made mandatory at schools and colleges. Exploring the laws of Nature and giving us vivid and easy to comprehend examples, Elvis Newman, who is a masterful teacher and humanitarian, leads us to a different kind of understanding and awareness of how to treat our Mother Earth with love and care, or else we may not have a tomorrow. He also teaches us how to succeed in life following amazing examples and lessons from Nature. This is a jewel that we should all promote with passion as our contribution to life and the future. Beautiful, inspiring book!

I really enjoyed this book. At first I thought it was going to be a book about motivational speaking and maybe it was, but not like any I have ever read or heard before. I loved the connections made between animals and people and what can be accomplished following the simple things animals do. One example is to be a charging buffalo facing the storm instead of a cow hiding a way and still getting soaked. When the author said to leave your mark even if it is a smile it resonated with me. What a great idea. I have to say I was inspired by this book and the way the author linked everything together. Great job!

Excellent book. Both inspirational and educational. This would make a great gift for someone about to leave for college...especially boys, since boys are so hard to buy for. The book isn't long and can be read quickly, but I think it's a book you will go back to again and again for motivation. Very nicely done!

Bit Preachy

This was a book that was merely OK. Too often I felt preached to. Parts were repetitive and droning. The bits about the bees and wasps were interesting though.

An excellent motivational guide for the lethargic and depressed souls out there

How many times have you put some of your most ambitious projects in the backburner simply because you thought that you were not 'good enough' for it or that the right time to start the project hasn't approached yet? I know I have. This book sorta hit me with a large brick: I have been guilty of procrastination as much as anyone else.

I would also set unrealistic goals for myself, not giving myself enough time to eat or sleep and consequently the level of my performance was poor to mediocre. If that is not enough I would also be distracted now and then to other things such as social media (facebook, YouTube), chatting, etc. These are innocuous distractions but they are sureshot time-killers. Thankfully, the author uses awesome animal-based analogies to illustrate how harmful these kinds of distractions can really prove to be in the long run. As always moderation is the key.

Even if you start a project with all the enthusiasm you can garner, you will go through a lot of hardships and setbacks (including your very well-meaning 'friends' with their typical herd mentality who will subtly dictate you that you should do something else other than not what you are currently doing) which will at times make you rethink your position and tempt you to pause or stop your task. The way our mind works, soon you will find enough blemishes in your performance which will justify your withdrawal perfectly, but is quitting really the answer? Read the ebook to find out.

Innate talent is something that few of us are born with, family support is something you cannot always count on (you may or may not get it) but with focus, practice and determination we can still reach our goals in spite of all odds; equally, it is important to work on your strengths and stop focusing on your weaknesses.

Those are some of the many lessons I learned from this valuable ebook. DO NOT mistake it for just another cheesy and 'preachy' ebook full of empty morals; the author has taken time to illustrate each and every moral through the way nature works and animals survive. Somehow I felt that animals seem to be leading a better life, full of a sense of PURPOSE, something which we humans seriously lack. I highly recommend it to anyone out there: whether you are a wannabe artist or a successful corporate honcho, you NEED to read this ebook, period.

Life Lessons from Nature by Elvis Newman, an undoubtable amazing book with a fantastic approach to motivate mankind from its origins, the Nature. It is full to the top with tips and reminders about how it is possible for the humans before us who did not have much sciences and technology to ease our lives like we have.
The book expresses every situation in which a close relationship with Nature and God, becomes a carefully lighted, and guided pathway.

Divided into section, the book expands to ever situation of life a person may be facing. The author reminds us that the relationship and association with Nature we need during any stage of life, is exactly the relationship God provides for us and is perfect for us. That makes the study guide appropriate for men, women, and children old enough to read and understand.
Its truth crosses many denominational beliefs. It is excellent for teaching those young in faith, or for those testing the waters entering college and family life, and for those who may need comforting and peace in their last years.

I believe the book’s language and the style of writing of the book is in particular specific for the young to help them understand the book the most. I especially like the fact that Elvis has used real examples from nature itself to elaborate his thoughts regarding the human’s relation with Nature. Every example is well prepared and referenced directly from the Nature, with supporting scientific explanation.
The writing is well done, clear and concise, and handled with love.

The book is perfect for all kinds of readers, especially the ones that are new to Nature. I do wish there was more to it, however it’s still a job well done.

“Life Lessons from Nature” is one of those books that you should be finding of EVERYONE’S bookshelves. This mare book contains the true way of living you’re life. It’s a call to today’s human to live the life Mother Nature intended us to live. Unlike other books, this takes it’s ideas and thoughts directly from the ultimate source, the Nature.

Elvis Newman is a remarkable author who has done a good amount of research before he wrote this book. You can truly see it in his writing that it reflects his ideology about human life. The way he has compared the nature of animals with us humans, it really is something to wonder.

God has created human beings the most powerful creatures on earth, and yet these animals are able to make better choices for themselves then us humans. They realize the lesson of determination and self believe which was taught to them by Nature and live their lives according to it, something we humans have forgotten to.

We humans these days are so self-driven by power that we no longer see the true meaning of life. The book recalls all those things that we have forgotten and reminds us all that in a very beautiful way. Elvis has included several examples from animal kingdom, plants, incest as well as the sea creatures to remind us how to live.

This book is for everyone out there, regardless of the current status of your life. Whether you are suffering from demotivation finding it hard to find the real answers to your problem, this book will act as a helping friend to you and show you the way.

What an amazing book this is without a doubt!

I have never read a book that caught my attention so much that I would have the urge to read it again and again. At first, I must confess that I was somewhat hesitating to buy it, but my reading the reviews really got me thinking that there must be something extraordinary about this book and thus I decided to order it. I read a review on this book, saying that it has changed the way I see things, well, I couldn’t agree with him more!

This book as made me realized how much our life can offer us. The book as made me more aware and optimistic about opportunities. One thing that really hit me from this book is that I should not blame bad luck for missed opportunities because when I saw Mr. Elvis giving examples of nature any wild animals in the book, I thought to myself that they do not have good/bad luck, they strive to be successful and that is exactly what humans should do too.

I have decided that the first thing I have to do to increase my opportunities is that I need to change my attitude, being so pessimistic about opportunities is actually hurting me in the long run.

The most interesting chapter was from Part-1 chapter 2: “Equipping Yourself. I found Elvis’s way of writing very pleasing, he lays out all the information in a way that is easy to understand, no complicated difficult to understand language in this book.

I would recommend “Life Lessons from Nature” to anyone who is blaming bad luck for their lack of opportunities and need a boost from the most reliable source, mother Nature.

This book is one that everyone should have on their bookshelf. No matter how great your life is, you still have bad days. You still have doubts. Even if it is just wondering how to best approach your next business venture, Life Lessons from Nature has your answers.
Since the beginning of time, we have relied on nature for everything. Food, shelter, telling time and seasons, etc. The more we advance technologically, the farther we seem to get from nature and how much we still need it. But even now, with all the technology, we still don't have all the answers. And we still run to nature when things get tough.
Elvis Newman has brought us something we all need whether we realize it or not. He has filled his book with real world examples to prove that what he is saying actually works. He doesn't preach at you or talk down to you-he just give you the information in a straight-forward way.
Life Lessons from Nature is a book you will want to keep handy so you can read it as needed. Use it like a devotional to help you through whatever situation you have that day. Even if you don't think you need it there will come a day you will be glad you have it.

Life is wonderful but for the days when you need an extra push to live your life to the fullest, remember these incredible life lessons from the natural world. Life Lessons from nature : by Elvis Newman is a wonderful book and I am glad that I purchased it . Nature is the biggest teacher . Whenever you find yourself stuck in the way you relate to things , get back to nature and you will find that life is beautiful and everything has a meaning attached to it. Even the smallest crawling creature teaches us a valuable lesson of life.

I couldn’t put the book down until I finished reading it. 96 pages of truly informational , inspirational and motivational content. The author has done a great job in writing this book in such an interesting way that it captivates the readers . I also loved the small picture references that made the reading more interesting. Especially the Prime minister's Rat Race Case was something that I had never read or heard before and I truly enjoyed it !

Thanks to this book that I could develop new understanding and perspectives on mother nature's contributions in different fields of human accomplishments. Earned a good 5 stars from me !

The book draws on nature to show examples of how to deal with things and approach life in general. The book is compiled in a way that you can read it straight through linearly or go to chapters focusing on specific aspects you need help with/want to focus on. I found it truly fascinating with all the different examples of nature dealing with any and all problems. It truly shows that the way is all around you. These examples are also accompanied by quotes from famous great people which are really inspiring. The photographs as well are spectacular and really add depth to the book.
The book is 96 pages long and there is no fluff what so ever, just gold. This is a refreshing change to the usual fare of 100 pages of decent content then 300 pages of filler/repetition to meet a word/page count that you usually get with self improvement books. This really is an example of what self improvement books should be about, just giving you the information you need to improve without commercial interests being the be all and end all. A phenomenal book you will find useful for years to come.

I started reading this book a good 6 months ago and by now, I’ve finished this book at least thrice. It has just so much to offer that I learn something new each time I read it. Each chapter in the book has a complete lesson itself offering both motivation and great knowledge about nature. I’ve recommended this book to many of my colleague and fellow students in my university and they too fell in love with it.

Elvis Newman was a new writer to me when I started reading his book, but now I’m moving up to his other books. His reads reflects his thoughts and ideas about life and mankind. The book shows how a great deal of hard work he has put to complete and make this book possible for us to read. It offers the vary truth mankind has been seeking for a better life. A life that was intended for us to live by Mother Nature.

This is must read for everyone. Not for mare fun, but to learn how to live your live meaningfully and purposefully.

As easy as it gets
This simple little book is what I needed to achieve my goals and get back on track. This has taught me from very basic principle of living a better life, a life that was intended for us to live by Nature.

Very well written and easy to understand because of the several example the author gives. It certainly has helped me to motivate myself and ask myself the ultimate question that “if they can, they why can’t you?”

There are several topics that help us to fight through tough times. Many important lessons, like, not giving up on your goals and self believe has been taught in a miraculous manner.

I definitely do recommend this book for those who want to live a better live and want to see a better version of their self. It’s like an all in one book for teaching us how to live a better live.

An outstanding book by an outstanding author. Elvis Newman is a great author with a great vision. He found a way to capture the many secrets and aspects of nature in Life Lessons from Nature. Which I found to be a very inspirational book. He explores the many ways in which we relate to nature, such as our need to be competitive, creative, resilient and our need for prosperity and happiness. He shows us how we co-exist with nature, and in a sense how much we are like the trees, animals and insects around us. How does our action affect nature and how does it affect us. The book pinpoints many creatures of nature and shows us how we can identify with each and the vital role of nature and everything in it . I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.

Inspirational, thought-provoking and informative, this short book by Mr. Newman was easy to read. I easily finished this book in one sitting. Being a human, we always have questions about our existence and those questions are rarely answered. While some intellectual person could say that life is all about finding ourselves, this book explains it's meaning as Mother Nature wants us to understand.

What I liked about this book was the fact that each point that the author tried to raise had been supported by examples and illustrations in order for the reader to capture the essence of what the author wanted to say. I had a great time reading this one and look forward to reading more from Mr. Newman.

This guide is a profound and transcendent treasure full of invaluable advice. We look to sharks, elephants, insects and more for advice on how to live life. There is personal advice and insights, but for me, the most interesting passages discussed pack mentality and political behavior in the natural world. We can learn about animal electoral behavior and apply the same to our processes. Fascinating, really fascinating. I had no idea humans were so similar to other animals and often act and react in exactly the same way. This book will definitely make you think and give you some perspective on life and how to better live it. The author has much to teach us about success and balance. Exceptional life coaching.

Three words that can sum up this book would be, straightforward, clear, and motivation from the purest source (the nature).

The book really inspires you do better and learn from nature, unfortunately, wasn’t anything new in the book, it’s what every motivational book in the market has to offer, however I liked the approach of the order, by giving examples of animals instead of people.

I certainly helped me lean a lot about animals, but since the book is a “life motivation”, so you’re obviously expecting something else.

One of the great things I learned is that I need to use strategic planning and project management to achieve what I want in my life.

3/5 from me

very extraordinary book. Quite fun(even funny) and implicitly detained. It has a whole lot of nature lessons and findings. It reveals a huge amount of knowledge and research outcome.
You'll love this book too if you're a lover of nature, or not even. there is a suitable piece for everyone.
You can not escape enjoying the narration prowess of the author. This is so unique, considering the challenge of such a book.
For the curious, lovers of nature and people that love good literature, here's for you. even just flipping through the pages gives you a massive insight on nature judging from its nice photos.

This book is refreshingly different. The natural world is full of amazing creatures who have adapted to the changing environment in fascinating ways. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down and I read the whole thing through in one go. There are many lessons to be learnt from observing animals and Mr Newman has managed to crate am interesting, detailed book which is easy to read and absorb. I'm going to be passing this one on to my daughter who is animal mad as I think that she would learn a lot from it. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in the natural world or who just wants to read something different and thought provoking.

Life Lessons from Nature is a beautiful and inspiring book. The book looks to our animal friends and to the patterns of nature for guidance. What do certain animals do in a particular situation? What do our shared behaviors mean and how can we learn from them? The book answers these questions in its attempt to ‘bring out the greatness in you.’ This book has incredible photographs and is laid out very well. I feel truly informed by it and think it would be a good addition to anyone’s self-help library. I also think a young person would get a lot from it. Excellent work!

Over the years, technology has advanced greatly. If compared to the humans of stone age, we have come a long way from no luxuries to luxurious life. Therefore, Mother Nature has also evolved with the passage of time. In this short book, the author clearly discusses the life lessons by Mother Nature and the small hints that seem insignificant in the start but move forward to mean a lot to us.

The examples that the author has used and the explanations helped me understand his point of view clearly. It was a short read but enlightening.

I gained quite a lot from this book about mother nature. totally priceless material unveiled. I swear there are many everyday things that I never knew meant anything of importance.
This is a cure for total ignorance. Many crazy facts that are really fun to know and funnier to tell.
Sometimes you might not catch the connection or significance, but a reflection on it makes it so glaringly obvious. Not just a philosophical book but a practical one.
The awareness and understanding created by the author is really priceless. Completely not what you expect.
