Found myself just skimming through the chapters after reading the background and basics, hating how stuff was repeated over and over. Some helpful strategies for beginning teachers but I found myself saying "I have better ways to teach XYZ" as I read through it. Meh, doesnt hurt to look at what others are doing.
Blah! I found the writing program very laborious. However, the very last chapter of the book provided a new twist to the K-W-L strategy that I think that I will try.
