*Ain’t no spice here. This is a kisses-only sweet romantic comedy.*

I’m dressed as a Christmas fairy. My car is broken. My phone is dead. And I’m probably next, but I get rescued by a bossy grump.Talk about bah humbug.

He tows me to his place, a hotel close by.

Hooray! A hotel. Except it’s shut.

As a storm closes in, I hunker down with Jason, the handsome capable ex-military, and Rocko, his enormous dog, in the tiny hotel gatehouse, their temporary home.

At first, Jason resents my chaotic presence and possibly regrets his roadside rescue as we wait out the raging blizzard.

Then, the power goes out. We’re thrown into darkness. But we have a wood-burner and candles.

It could be just my imagination, but Jason’s frosty exterior melts away in the soft warm glow. He even forgets to be annoyed about the trail of pink glitter I’ve left in his room.

Maybe I shouldn’t admit that I’m having the best time in this snowed-in disaster.

I know what I want for Christmas. I wonder if Jason wants it too.

Stuck With My Christmas Crush is a kisses-only closed-door standalone clean romance, loaded with laughs and sizzling chemistry, and enough fairy lights, glitter and tinsel to give any Grinch a festive vibe.

A bit about me...
My stories are loaded with funny stuff, coincidence, drama and love.

I pull out all the action and comedy, which is usually tragic and accident laden - add some romance if it's romcom - and package it up in a satisfying narrative tied up with a big pink shiny satin bow.

Tadaah! Here you go. Enjoy.

I'm a compulsive traveller. In fact, it's almost an addiction. I have to move around. To fund this expensive hobby, I've worked as an international primary school teacher in a number of countries, for a number of years, which has supplied its own rewards and serviced a mountain of writing material.

When I'm not teaching or having marvellous adventures, I'm visiting friends and family and writing books.

The True Season of Love . . .

Ex-military Jason is temporarily living in the tiny gatehouse of the dilapidated Mansion Hotel with his huge Mastiff dog, Rocko. He inherited the old rundown mansion which he calls a “money pit” as it is already draining his savings to cover all the bills rolling in before he can sell the land, buildings, and everything inside. So he’s staying around until he can sell it or get a security system installed. Right now, he’s driving his 6-year-old niece Maddie back to her mom’s house after she helped him sort through things at the Mansion, requesting she not turn on Christmas music which distracts him as he drives. The truth is, he doesn’t like the season and shuns the music. She promptly informs him that he’s heading for the naughty list with his attitude. Maddie points out a car with the hazard lights on at the side of the road, so they stop to see if the woman dressed as a fairy needs help. The woman said she had called a tow truck, so refused their further offer of assistance. But Maddie won’t leave her until the lady reminds her that her fairy magic will keep her safe. Her wait for the garage is now 3 hours and Charlie’s phone is dying. And a huge storm is on the way. At least Jason can use the blizzard as an excuse not to have to join his sister Meredith and Maddie for Christmas.

After food shopping, Jason is on the way home from his sister’s house and sees the woman, Charlie, still sitting in her car! He invites her to wait at his place instead. But again she refuses his help. Fortunately, he plans on revisiting her in a few hours just to make sure she isn’t still stranded, and he also mentions how close his place is (if she chooses to walk there). Will their being stuck together through this blizzard give them a chance to get to know each other? And will her joyful spirit begin to heal Jason’s pain?

This was a sweet opposites attract book that swept me away! Let's start with our grinchy MMC Jason. He's ex military who is taking on the burden for his family of cleaning out an inherited hotel mansion and getting it ready to sell. He sees it as a money pit, and the fact it's Christmas just adds more grumpiness to this handsome man! Then we have our wonderful glittery fairy, Charlie, whose ladybug designed VW Bug decides to die on a little traveled road right before a snowstorm hits! Being an independent, overly dramatic woman of the cinema, she jumps to ax murderer vibes when Jason offers help! Being reassured by Jason's sister that he is great and not an ax murderer, these two slowly start to warm up to each other!! What happens when you mix sunshine and all things good with a grinch? Ice just might start to thaw! I loved their journey! It was a sweet, wonderful read!

Jason rescues Charlie when her far breaks down near his house the night a snow storm hits. Their night together isn't anything to write home about, but it is sweet and homey...domestic, even. They shyly and slowly get to know one another. And lives are changed. Beautifully.

I love this story of self-proclaimed hermit and Christmas grinch, Jason, meets the cheerful Christmas fairy, Charlie. Jason doesn’t stand a chance when his dog, Rocko, and niece, Maddie, join forces to unite them. Add in a gilded age home/hotel that needs a touch of restoration, not demolition, and you get a very enjoyable story. I dare you to resist a glittery fairy.

A sweet Christmas story where a girl who is dressed up like a fairy experiences a break down with her car. A man stops by to help her but she says she’s contacted help already. However, they haven’t come when he passes by again and she says she’ll wait. The weather turns bad and she decides to walk to his
place after all. He returns and tows her car to his place just as the blizzard hits with force stranding them. With no power they have candles and a wood burning fireplace to keep them warm. She tries to get him to feel the upcoming Christmas season spirit but he refuses to warm to the idea. Still they seem to get along fairly well regardless.

He tows her car into town so she can get it fixed and
later she returns to see him again and sees the house
that was boarded up when she was stranded the first night she was there. She was struck with how beautiful it was but was sadden when he said it would probably be torn down when it was sold. She left thinking they just were two different and though she hoped maybe something could have come between them she realized it just wasn’t to be.

However, he realizes how much he misses her in his life and how much he looked forward to seeing her even though they only knew each other briefly. He decided to change his plans and came and saw her on Christmas Day and with her and her friends help
they turned the abandoned house into a venue for
weddings and special occasions and the like.

This story transformed the lives of two people- Jason
who was a cynical person returned from the military who had inherited the property and wanted to get rid of it, hated Christmas and people in general and wanted to be left alone; and Charlie, a free spirit who is happy and outgoing, even though she has been burned by past relationships but still loves Christmas and was even dressed as a fairy when her car broke down coming back from doing a job she was hired for.

The feelings between these two were there but they
denied them thinking there was too many obstacles that would prevent them from getting together until
Jason took Charlie up on her invitation for Christmas
dinner and called her and showed up and told her how he felt about her!

I have enjoyed this series and I wholeheartedly and
enthusiastically recommend you not only get this book but that you get the other books in this series!
These books will help you recapture the spirit of Christmas if you’ve lost it and help you retain it if you’ve got it still!

In this world of doom and gloom we need stories that
make us feel good and warm our hearts! This story does that as does this series! I urge you to get this
book and ignite the light of the Christmas season within you early by reading this wonderful story!

Stuck With My Christmas Crush is the 4th book in the Sweet Christmas Kisses series, and any of the 12 books can be read as stand-alone or in any order!

This is definitely my favorite book from the series so far! I really enjoy a good opposites attract trope, and the author did a wonderful job with this one!

🧚Charlie & Jason🪖

Charlie is an entertainer, whose bright and bubbly personality is infectious which really aligns with her work cosplaying as a Christmas fairy! 🧚 Jason is an ex-military man who is portrayed as a bit of a grump or bah humbug , but deep down he’s just a kind hearted, softy. He’s just inherited his relatives property, where Charlie’s car just so happens to end up broken down near, and Jason comes to the rescue! I will say while the chemistry was undeniable, it did feel a little forced. Charlie was hesitant at first and did take precautions when it came to staying with Jason for the evening after her rescue, but quickly sees through the kind of man Jason really is. Even though Charlie is the one who is rescued, she helps Jason feel truly alive and safe.

As a dog lover, I also enjoyed Jason’s dog Rocko and laughed out loud at the part where Rocko passed gas, if you read it, you’ll get it! 🤭🥴 Anyone else’s dogs have some smelly farts? I know mine does! 😂

Although I didn’t really connect with the characters, I did get a little emotional a couple of times towards the end! So if you enjoy a feel good, happily ever after, holiday romance, with a touch of SPARKLE 😉 you will absolutely enjoy this! 🥰❤️

Wow I wasn’t ready this awesome love story by Francesca Spencer , a new author for me. I am eager to read more of her writing. It was both inviting and exciting. This being the fourth book of the Sweet Christmas Kisses series . Their’s is such a cute and heartwarming story. Jason I feel was the most in need as he is the one with the Scrooge vibe occurring. Yes indeed. You know the one , a type a miser who hates Christmas . Even people in general he hasn’t a care for , as he’d rather be showing them the door. His one love is Rocko an enormous dog. Can’t be much wrong with his heart if his dog has a hold on it in the fog. This girl Charlie who dressed as a Fairy , as annoying as she may be , has lit a fire. Is this desire? …No …couldn’t be? But yet…He suddenly misses their nights in the blizzard , where they shared shelter as the wood was burning . He’s all set to let her go.But these feels in his gizzard , is it yearning? He must explore …. Because all he knows is he wants to see her more and more. It may be that his heart is indeed burning for this embodiment of Christmas joy? Well come Christmas Day HE was born again and so was Jason too , oh boy... Charlie he feels is his very own Christmas Fairy , she showed him the way of such joy. How the very essence of Christmas can last beyond the one day and stay in their hearts forevermore as their love blossoms because of Christmas Day. Very well written , beautifully descriptive story of Christmas and love from the talented author.

Stuck With My Christmas Crush is the fourth book in the Sweet Christmas Kisses series. This is a multi-author series, and all books can be enjoyed as standalones or in any order.

This was such a fun read! A grumpy former soldier who is a bit of a Grinch and a pink glittery fairy!? Talk about opposites attracting! Despite their very different personalities, Jason and Charlie had a really cute and easy chemistry between them. I loved seeing Charlie bring out a softer side of this grump and thought they balanced each other very well. Though the attraction and chemistry were evident right from the very start, they definitely had some issues to work through first. In that way, it felt like a bit of a slow burn--- even though in reality it was actually a pretty quick romance. It was definitely giving me some Hallmark holiday vibes--- in the very best way possible with all of its Christmas charm. If you're looking for a sweet holiday read, this is one to add to your TBR.

Stuck With My Christmas Crush is a closed-door romance with kisses only and no language.

**ARC received for consideration. All opinions are my own.

This is the fourth installment of the Sweet Christmas Kisses Romance Novella Series. One novella a week from now until Christmas! While I’m still fully into spooky/cozy season, I am also here for these little sprinkles of holiday cheer along the way!

This was a super cute quick read. A pink glittery fairy, a brooding ex-military MMC, a big fluffy dog, an endearing little niece, a snowstorm, and a broken down car. The recipe for a cute and cozy winter romance. I love a good grumpy sunshine trope and this was the epitome of that. Charlie works as a glittery pink fairy who loves all things festive and when she sees snow her first instinct is of course, snow angels! Jason is ex-military, harboring trauma, and would rather just stay to himself and not participate in any of it. When they get stuck together in a blizzard, it’s all the opposites attract goodness.

Tropes:
🔔Forced Proximity
🔔Grumpy Sunshine
🔔Opposites Attract
🔔Ex-Military

Cute story about an ex soldier who with his sister inherited a property that they both decided isn’t something they want or can afford, so the H is doing what ever repairs and clean up is necessary to sell the property. At the beginning of the story the H rescues the h who’s stranded due to her car breaking down. They end up confined to his cabin until the storm passes. He is the grump and she is the sunshine. As they talk they become drawn to each other. When the storm passes the H digs them out and then tows the h’s car to a repair shop near to the place she is living. Later the H realizes that he really wants a relationship with the h and accepts her invitation to spend Christmas dinner with her and her friends. He also decides that he doesn’t want to sell the property but fix it up and asks the h and her friends to help him. They accept his invitation and turn the property into a beautiful place to stay or plan an event at. The H and h have their HEA. Hope you get the book and truly enjoy reading it as I did. Recommend this book to anyone who wants a clean sweet read.

A happy, pink fairy, a grumpy ex-solider, and a huge snow storm
A fun, engaging story of unexpected attraction and love. Jason, an ex-solider and devoted uncle to Maddie, is returning Maddie home when they see a car on the side of the little used road Jason lives on. As they are passing, Maddie announces it is the fairy from her friend’s party. Stopping to check, Fairy Charlie assures Maddie that she is fine and help is on the way. When Jason returns home, he finds Charlie still stranded without help and a snow storm beginning. Taking Charlie back to his home was the only option with all roads closed but what is a grumpy ex-solider to do with a pink, glittered fairy stranded in his home? As they spend time together Charlie is grateful for military readiness training and he soon finds himself drawn to the ray of joy that is Charlie. But changing your outlook on life can be difficult. I received an early copy and this is my honest review.

Fun and sweet Christmas romance.
Perfect to get you in the Christmas spirit.

Jason is a bit of a Grinch. Closed off keeping to himself, with good reason. Except for his adorable niece. Their relationship is the sweetest.

Charlie is a ray of sunshine. She comes into Jason’s life, disrupting his routine and begins to chip away at his hardened heart.

It makes for sweet and humorous moments amidst the magical setting of an abandoned mansion in a snowstorm. Let me tell you I loved, loved, loved the setting. The cover alone sold me.

This is a quick and sweet story with an ending that touched my heart and wrapped the story up perfectly.

I received a complimentary copy, but a positive review was not required.

This is the perfect Christmas story, it's like a fairytale meets the Grinch. Charlie is a fun loving happy go lucky person who is definitely a people pleaser. She has the perfect job where she dresses up as a pink glittery fairy. When suddenly her beloved beetle breaks down and the weather changes she's stranded on a lonely stretch of road. That is until a Chevy pickup pulls up and a handsome man gets out, or he could be an axe murderer. This is the perfect sunshine meets grump with side helpings of snow, glitter and Christmas songs. If this story doesn't give you that Christmas feeling nothing will. Francesca has a way of bringing the story to life and you feel partbof the story. Curl up with a nice hot chocolate and settle in for funny Xmas story

♡Charlie & Jason♡

I loved everything about this book! From the loveable characters to the plot, this story had it all! Charlie works as an entertainer. One night, her car breaks down by Jason's hotel. Jason pulls up and gets out to check on her. She just got done working, so she's currently dressed as a fairy. Jason's neice ends up recognizing her from her friends party. Sadly, a huge winter storm is coming, so she ends crashing with Jason for the night. I really enjoyed how the story flowed together. It made it incredibly hard to put down. I just wanted to keep reading to find out what happens! If you're looking for a cute romcom for the holidays, this one's perfect!

Thanks so much to the author for the ARC!

Stuck With My Christmas Crush by Francesca Spencer is part of the Sweet Christmas Kisses series and is about a quirky, sweet Christmas fairy named Charlie, a polite, grumpy, ruggedly handsome ex-military hotel owner Jason and a handsomely good boy, Rocko, who gets “please don’t eat me!” looks when he’s more likely to lick someone to death.

I love Charlie and Jason’s meet cute it was set up adorably and getting snowed in was done well too. Rocko kept stealing my attention, I was finding myself thinking how sweet he was and cuddly although huge! I loved all the talk to historic facts of the hotel and Jason’s ancestors and I love preserving the past in a way to also represent the future. I recommend this sweet kisses Christmas rom-com with a HEA!

Stuck with My Christmas Crush is the fourth installment in the multi-author series Sweet Christmas Kisses. It can be read as a standalone.

I love the opposites attract trope and this book delivered! Charlie is an entertainer and a ray of sunshine and Jason is ex-military and a grump. Charlie’s car breakdown and Jason comes to the rescue to tow her car and gave her a place to crash for the night. They have such good chemistry from the beginning!

This one was true joy to read and was hard to put down! I highly recommend this one for a sweet Christmas read!

I love that fairy Charlie was a fairy! Her sparkly costumes, sparkly make-up, and sparkly personality were a perfect combination. Jason is a no nonsense, super practical, former military man with a heart of gold with a stout perimeter built around his heart.

These two are perfect for each other and even though it takes a while, eventually they come together. Rocko isn’t much of a guard dog but he’s an adorable addition to the story, just like Maddie.

I love the idea of an old historic hotel being made into an event place for weddings and parties! The fact there is a vintage, convertible, Rolls Royce!!! Yes please!!

I received a digital ARC of this book. This is my first time reading this author but it won’t be the last. If you like Hallmark movies, then you will enjoy this book. You have Jason, the ex-military grumpy guy and Charlie who is all sunshine and rainbows. Charlie’s car is broken down on the side of the road, but she’s dressed like a fairy because she’s on her way home from a gig. Jason offers to help, but she’s already called roadside assistance. But add in an approaching blizzard and closed roads, and Charlie ends up having to walk to Jason’s place after all. Can Charlie break down Jason’s walls? You’ll have to read to find out.

Charlie’s car Bertie has broken down. Jason and his niece Maddie see her and stop to see if she needs help. Addie recognizes her right away as Fairy Charlie from one of her friend’s birthday parties. When Road Recovery does not come, she walks to Jason’s house to wait out the storm. Really cute, clean romance with a great cast of characters. Thought Maddie was a cutie, then there is her mother and father. Also Charlie’s business partners Lou and Calvin and not to forget Rocko.
Very enjoyable read that keeps your interest from the first. I highly recommend this book.

A sweet, Hallmark-Christmas-movie of a book! 😍🎄The adoration between Charlie and Jason was obvious from the get-go, and only became more clear as they got to know each other. It was certainly cheesy, but I think the low-stakes, sweet stories are what The Sweet Christmas Kisses Series are all about. I’m looking forward to reading the next one! ❤️

This grumpy/sunshine story will get you in the holiday spirit. Between a sparkly fairy and a persistent niece, Jason’s Scrooge heart is starting to melt. I love the snowed in aspect of this story because it forced Jason into a situation he normally would avoid at all costs. Charlies bubbly personality is easy to love so no wonder everyone around her instantly wants in her orbit.
This is a dual pov, clean romance. It is part of a multi author series but can be read as a stand alone novel.
