Tate Aaralyn is both prey and predator—a duality that defines her. Beyond the veil that separates worlds, lies the the home of vampires. There, she is prey—fragile, weak, her flaws laid bare. She is a vampire who struggles with the ethics of feeding. And yet, in the human realm she is the executioner of justice.

But when Tate is sent to a disciplinary hearing that results in forced enlistment to the gaura, her worst nightmare is made real. In desperation to make a lasting difference, Tate faces her biggest challenge yet—Aether, a vampire unlike any other.

As lines blur, she must navigate the labyrinth of lies and embrace her newfound power, all while questioning her mysterious bond to the male who has managed to capture her heart and, somehow, earn her trust.

Chance Dale may be the president’s son, but even with his birthright he is, by all accounts, a disappointment. After witnessing evil evolving and the violation of life as he knows it, Chance must find a way to defeat the dark magic before it spreads. The world of politics becomes nuanced, and he is forced to question the very statutes that have guided his life or watch everything he’s worked for burn.

Chance’s quest to secure the Glenn from foreign powers has his path crossing with Tate’s—his former lover and deepest regret. As the truth unravels, he must choose between the love he once had or the one he could have. Worse yet, that very love could soon become the enemy he hunts.

I love all things fiction, specifically, fantasy. Add a little romance, or sometimes a whole heap, and you’ll find my specialty: romantasy. As an avid reader and devourer of all things Fae, dragon, and magical, my work (as you may have guessed) is centered in that world. I love a strong female protagonist who defies the patriarchy while learning to love and trust.

I am one of the lucky ones; I married my high school sweetheart and am a mother of two adorable, rambunctious boys. As a Colorado native, I love the sunshine and crisp air while enjoying the outdoors with my guys…have I mentioned I’m outnumbered?

Stories have always held me captive—they are the air I breathe. It is my purest pleasure to share with you the tales that have been burning in my heart. To see a full list of my works, please visit my website.

I want to start by saying this wasn't bad, but I just wasn't really completely vibing with it.

The beginning was hard to follow and I had a hard time getting into it.

There were also 2 stories being told, and I feel they might have worked better as separate books. It felt like a lot going on and crammed into 2 POVs where the main characters weren't really each other's love interests so I thought that was different. weird perhaps?

Ex/ around 45-50% Chance’s POV, which mind you wasn't really far into the story as things were very slow burn. I just thought while reading, "What’s the purpose of Chance’s pov when he's not really the love interest and he’s busy fucking other girls?"

But alas, there are 2 POVs with separate yet intertwined storylines. Chance and Tate, both are enlisted in the Gaura (an army-like organization) to pursue justice, each in their own way. Tate is forced into the Gaura after being caught 'overfeeding' (she's a vampire and Overfeeding/killing someone is a crime), while Chance sees enlistment as his birthright (he's a Dux = the equivalent of a colonel in the military; directly underneath the Anax rank also the 'Presidents' son)—a means to protect his people.

Chance and Tate were once friends to lovers but when Tate finds out Chance's father, President Dale was responsible for her mother’s death, allegedly accusing her of espionage. Tate then finds solace in Fletcher, a family friend who cares for her deeply. However, Fletcher harbors knowledge he shouldn't have, and basically, they kill him.

I loved our FMC. Tatealia or "Tate" is strong and self-assured. She’s constantly drawn into challenging situations but stays grounded, looking within to uncover the truth. The twist of her being a predatory vampire who only feeds on evil humans is brilliant! But shortlived when she has to be enlisted in the Gaura.
She’s also undergoing mysterious changes, and even though she’s unsure of what’s happening, she refuses to rely on anyone else—she’ll always do things her way. She's relentless in making herself heard.

I did enjoy the parts with Aether🤭

I'll be honest I didn't really care for Chance's POVs. Right off the bat, in Chapter 2 he gave me the ick and gave off misogynist vibes. I cringed at the first interaction with Tate:

"His left eyebrow raised. “You better than anyone should know I have an exceptional sense of smell.” He lowered his head and sniffed. Actually sniffed. “You want me. Just admit it, shortie,” he said the last word in challenge, while pulling me closer to him. Much too close.

tbh I wanted to DNF after reading this😭 but I continued and suffered through it (not really but kinda? It was interesting enough that I wanted to continue but boring too?)

I think the world-building and Tate is the only reason I wanted to continue. Very immersive and atmospheric world the author created. It’s evident that a lot of thought went into the lore, and the complex political dynamics between humans and vampires add a compelling layer of intrigue.

Overall, for a debut, this was good, and well-written. I didn't mind it. However, I wish the story was solely about Tate and her journey (what she's been going through/new things about herself that she discovers, etc), with Chance's POV being explored in a separate book/series or novella. With that being said, it was interesting to read about both MCs and their separate quests to uncover dark secrets that challenge their beliefs.

Dear blood! Those book was good! Vampires, Fae, and Dragon Shifters, oh my!

That’s not all though. The story weaves in allegorical references to real-life events. Not to mention betrayal, with humans and vampires being unwittingly turned into creatures to be used against their own. It explores military greed disguised as heroism. There are good people blindly following law as a metric for holiness, political credo as an idol, generational trauma, control, and brainwashing.

The book delves into rebellion gone wrong, There’s a mystery surrounding parentage. The fictional tribe and creatures feel real in their own right, and the man-made creatures weaponized for military use add another layer of complexity.

We have friends to lovers to enemies to…. lovers? friends?

We also have enemies to lovers to spicy spicy self-love to… we interrupt this message… to soulma… oh wait. We have to wait until the next book to find out!?!?

The sensory descriptors are vivid, weaving in-depth understanding of the military world in which we find ourselves with elements of fantasy and emotion.

A father figure is tortured and killed for information, and the FMC undergoes torture herself, emerging as a hero. There’s even vampire-to-dragon-shifter puberty happening mid-battle.

But the thing I love most about this book is how hard it is for the characters to tell who the good side and the bad side are. Just like real life, it’s not cut and dry.

I saw a post the other day asking why people accept the status quo in real life when in stories like Star Wars or The Hunger Games, everyone agrees that the rebellion is the “good” side.

And this… this is why. This book illustrates that perfectly—answers in real life aren’t obvious. Reality is morally gray. People are hard to read. Emotions cloud judgment. It’s nearly impossible to tell right from wrong, especially when you’re in the midst of the ethical dilemma or when the very essence of one side’s moral superiority has been instilled into you from birth.

There’s no status quo because there’s a massive amount of people blindly follow every side.

The scene with Fletch is absolutely heart wrenching. I was so scared for Shea. And the ending? I’m tearing my hair out, crying, screaming, and throwing up.

I need to know what happens next! Why must I wait? Next book, stat. Gimme, gimme, gimme!

Fangs of fate is a splendid opening for the Untish series. This magical vampire world intertwined with modern technology was a new vista for me and it was thrilling to learn more about this world and get to know some amazing characters.

I have always loved a badass FMC in my fantasy reads and the author definitely gives us one in Tate Aaralyn. I loved her strong morals, how she loved her mother, and how she still remains a real person in the chaos -who can be stubborn or temperamental at times. Also her other relationships, past as well as the present ones, portray a loyal and strong personality. I loved the characters Shae, Vala, Holland and Jared too. I'm not so fond of Chance Dale and Aether is definitely a beloved one.

The spicy scenes were skillfully executed and I enjoyed the power dynamics and politics of this world. The magic and magical beings were especially fascinating.

Can't wait to read more about this fantastic World and I'm really excited for the next book!!!

Thank you Rebecca Parcha for trusting me with your book. It was an absolute delight to be one of your ARC readers.

I'm stunned and in awe. What an incredible debut, and I'm obsessed with this series now.

Nothing was as it seemed, and I was constantly struck speechless by the turn this book took. This book never stopped surprising me and keeping me on the edge of my seat from the first page right till the very last sentence. AND there's a dragon. A very very hot dragon.

When the book started and I saw where both these characters were headed, I was initially confused, but as the two took their own paths, I was amazed at how the author brought the two narratives together with time and also set things up for the future books really well.

I liked how the author took her time to build the world and show us how it operates. What the roles and rules are. It does start off slow, but that was very much necessary to establish this world so when things eventually start clicking, we know why and how. So many things were happening in the beginning that at first felt like they might not make sense, but as we keep going, we see how everything comes together so well, and I was just here like, OH DAMNN!!!

There was so much action throughout the book that keeps you hooked and won't let you put it down. Many nail-biting, hand-wringing moments. There was also the mystery regarding who was behind the attacks. The fight scenes were so well written and described, it was like you were present in the field with the others. The final 10% was so intense that I couldn't stop reading, with my fingers crossed and screaming at the characters. Fan-fucking-tastic!

The politics in Glenn and the hierarchy within the guara were also something that I found interesting. There's so much going on in the guara with all their manipulations, secrets, and deceptions that I can't wait to see them revealed.

Tate was an absolute badass, and I'm so happy to see such a strong, resilient, fierce FMC like her. I liked the duality of her character as the prey within The Glenn and as the predator on the other side of the veil. Her hate for the guara was so valid given their role in her mother's death. Tate went through so much throughout this book, and she still found her strength and determination. Watching her go through some changes and what made her act the way she was was also a mystery that we got into.

She kept fighting her way through all that she had to go through over and over, even when she was by herself and even with her physical drawbacks. And I liked that she didn't pick up a weapon one day and suddenly knew how to wield it like a pro, but it was shown that she was really inexperienced, but she stayed and fought with the rest regardless.

The scene with Fletch being questioned absolutely broke my heart, and I felt just as hopeless as Tate. It was honestly so brutal, and my hate for Collin Dale is something fierce.

I really loved the side characters who played such a major role in the book. Shae, Vala, Jared (although he was a little pissy at times), Holland, and OBVIOUSLY Aether. That man is literally the best, and I'm looking forward to learning more about him and getting answers about what's going on between him and Tate. I want more about his history and how he became acquainted with Arithi. He is honestly so swoon-worthy, perfect, protective, strong, sexy, caring, and so much more. *SIGH* There are also some things unknown about Jared, if that revelation towards the end is any indication.

The spicy scenes were definitely hot, especially with all that tension, but it didn't take away from the plot. More like it was woven as a part of the plot in some cases.

I honestly didn't care much for Chance's character right from the first appearance he made. When I initially saw that the other POV was his, I was actually taken aback that he might be the MMC. He truly got on my nerves sometimes. He was so stupidly stubborn and willingly turning a blind eye to the facts and logical reasoning, constantly shutting Holland down without even considering her very valid points, which pissed me off.

"Fangs of Fate" by Rebecca Parcha is a mind-blowing fantasy packed with twists, politics, and unforgettable characters.

The book combines classic tropes—enemies to lovers, a badass FMC, slow burn romance—with unique elements like vampires, dragons, fae, and magic, making it a dream read for fantasy fans. The slow start was perfect for world-building, and the glossary at the beginning was helpful.
The shocking events kept me hooked from start to explosive finish! Rebecca Parcha knows exactly how to weave an intricate, detailed world, and her characters' growth through dual POVs adds constant intrigue that keeps you turning pages. Madri and Aether are officially on my list of book boyfriends, and the spice was well-balanced. I'm beyond excited for the next installment and will be re-reading this one often! Highly recommend to anyone looking for an intense, brilliantly crafted fantasy escape.

I saw the colorful cover and the title for Fangs Of Fate by Rebecca Parcha and knew I had to have it. I want to thank Rebecca for the opportunity to read this novel filled with magic and fantasy, and dragons, vampires and fae.

We start with action and it never lets up.

Tate Aaralyn is both prey and predator—a duality that defines her.

I love Tate. You may wonder how she can be prey and predator both, but all I’m going to tell is she has her own set of rules and she does color outside the lines. I love characters that walk the fine line of right and wrong, consequences be damned. I guess you could call this a coming of age for twenty year old Tate. She is put to the test and she does rise to the occasion.

Fangs Of Fate by Rebecca Parcha is told from two points of view…Tate’s and Chance’s. Tate and Chance used to have a romantic relationship, but he had crossed a line that Tate cannot forgive. Will they be able to overcome their past? We won’t find out in Fangs Of Fate and the book does end on a bit of a cliffhanger, but I felt, if the book was going to be divided, it was the perfect place to stop. The second book, Daughter Of Destiny is due to be published in May of 2025, so it’s not a long wait.

Rebecca Parcha’s Fangs of Fate is a thrilling exploration of love, identity, and the moral dilemmas that accompany power. From the moment I dove into Tate Aaralyn's world, I was captivated by her duality—she is both prey and predator, a vampire grappling with the ethics of her existence. Parcha crafts a rich narrative that expertly intertwines the complexities of vampire lore with the raw emotional struggles of her characters.

Tate's journey to the Glenn, a haunting yet mesmerizing realm of vampires, sets the stage for an intense exploration of strength and vulnerability. Her forced enlistment to the gaura is a twist that amplifies the stakes, and I found myself rooting for her as she navigates the labyrinth of lies surrounding her. Aether, a vampire who challenges everything she thought she knew, adds a layer of intrigue and depth to her character development. The chemistry between them crackles with tension, and their interactions kept me on the edge of my seat.

Then there’s Chance Dale, the president's son wrestling with his own demons and the expectations placed upon him. His transformation from a perceived disappointment to a man determined to confront dark magic is brilliantly portrayed. Chance’s internal conflict over his feelings for Tate adds emotional weight, and the choices he faces are not just about love, but about loyalty and the future of their world.

Parcha’s writing draws readers into a vivid landscape filled with political intrigue, romance, and supernatural elements. The nuanced exploration of morality and justice is thought-provoking and relevant, making it more than just a simple vampire romance.

If you’re a fan of romantic fantasy with rich world-building and complex characters, this book is an absolute must-read. I can’t wait to see where Tate and Chance’s journey takes them next!

Thank you, Rebecca Parcha, for the opportunity to read the ARC of Fangs of Fate.

I HIGHLY recommend Fangs of Fate & cannot wait for more of the Untish series. I'll admit, the book does start off "slow," but in a good, necessary world building way. When it was time, the story picked up, did not slow down, and left me wanting more. The dual POVs and different stories were very interesting, and I enjoyed how the stories tied together at the end. I'm gonna go ahead and add Aether to my list of book boyfriends because he did not disappoint!

The book included many of my favorite tropes: enemies to lovers, badass FMC, and slow burn. Also, vampires, dragons, fae, & lots of magic!! The spice was written perfectly (I wouldn't have been upset with a little bit more!).

The glossary at the beginning of the book was extremely helpful when beginning the book and flipping back to while reading. I think the book should include a map because it would have helped picturing the outposts easier.

🌶️🌶️🌶️.5 (when the spice is there oohhh it do be spicing😏)

NOTHING. IS. AS. IT. SEEMS.
Thats the one and only thing i can say about this book, the amount of stuff that happens is INSANE. And i absolutely LOVE IT. This book had me mindblown.

The writer Rebecca Parcha, knows EXACTLY what she is doing within this book and it is gobsmacking and amazing! There are so many twists and turns it is unreal and i honestly struggled to put the book down😂 The world that Rebecca built throughout the book was so in depth and absolutely outstanding along with the characters progression from BOTH POVS consistently throughout the book, the intrigue NEVER ends from chapter to chapter with the intensity heightening the further you get into the book which keeps you HOOKED from start to end. There were politics within this book but it wasn’t heavy and linked in SO well with the plot where all of the characters were concerned. The book was SO WELL WRITTEN.

I was absolutely HONOURED to have been accepted for this ARC read and will be definitely purchasing a physical copy ASAP to re-read whenever i want because this book will definitely live rent free in my mind for the foreseeable future!!

The ending was EXPLOSIVE😏 and before even finishing i was already raring for the second book😂 Madri is now an official book boyfriend😏 i absolutely LOVED this book and will recommend it to anyone and everyone! Can’t wait to re-read and see what comes in the future for all the amazing characters within this book!

1st read (Sept 2024):
This was an intriguing read. Tate’s background left me with a lot interest. I NEED to find out more about her Mom and Fletch and everything they knew. I also feel like I need to find out more about Aether, his story, and how he got involved Arithi, Vala, and Jared. I thought the first half of the book had wonderful pacing, but once Tate got connected to Aether, it felt slower, not bad, there was a lot of information leading up to big reveals/twists. The ending left me wanting the second book STAT! There were questions left unanswered and I love that! It hooked me. Especially with the questions left in the end.

I think the romance built over time and I was kind of shocked that Chance wasn’t the main love interest. But that’s okay because we are left with a new shadow dragon daddy! There are so many layers to this story that are intricately woven into the story. And like the best books, it brings it all together in the end leaving the readers wanting more! Highly recommend!

2nd read (Oct 2024): I came back because last time I felt like I took too long in between reads. So I reread it and honestly, I love it!! I gathered so much more info that helped me understand this world.

I really liked this book and I can't wait for book 2! It was slow at first but ended up getting good. The characters and storyline are great and I love the magic system. Chance gives Dain (from 4th wing) vibes and every time one of his POV chapters came up I secretly hoped that that would be the chapter he gets ☠️ off, even though I knew his POV was semi needed for the storyline. Chance as a character just really got on my nerves and I stopped reading a few times when one of his chapters would come up just because I was tired of him. I love Aether and his personality! I can't wait for book 2!

What amazing start to the Untish series! This book has to be one of my favourite books that I have read. It was such a smooth book to read as it just flowed. Rebecca really did create this complex world. It has everything you could ever want in a book shadow daddy, enemies to lovers, vampires, humans, shifters, monsters, magic, spice, dragons, military, total badass FMC and suspense that will never let you put the book down until you have devoured it.

It is very well written and the storyline just had me hooked from the start. It is written from two different peoples POV, Tate and Chance. The book kept you wondering so many different things all at the same time.

The ending absolutely killed me. It left me wanting sooo much more of Tate’s story and the whole world that I lived in while I was reading this book.
It has left me with so many unanswered questions and I am dying for the next book to come out. Well done to Rebecca Parcha for such an amazing first book.

This book follows a dual point of view, that of Tate and Chance. Two past lovers, who have been torn apart by what has happened to Tate’s mother. The majority of the book seems to learn more towards Tate background though. We follow Tate as she is struggling and angry with the world she lives and with those in power around her. Her whole life is turned upside down as dark secrets are exposed and she finds herself right in the middle of them. She’s forced to accept a reality that she thought was just a fairytale, all while fighting for her life and going through major changes.
This book held my attention from the very being! It has vampires, romance, enemies and lovers, and dragons what more could you want! My only negative remark would be the over use of calling every man “male” but just a personal preference. I’m so excited to see more releases from this author and hope that we don’t have to wait too long for a second book in this series!

ARC review.
I enjoyed this debut novel from Rebecca Parcha, it has an original feel to it that is refreshing. I don’t know why I was picturing Dexter/Dresden files! (But I was!)
I wasn’t keen on the chosen tense used, I find this tense jarring, there can be over reliance on terms like: ‘I needed to (eg. calm down)’…. Rather than adding more descriptive focus. But I’m no editor! That’s just what I thought. I also felt that the first couple of chapters could have used a little more world building.

Overall I really liked this debut and will keep my eyes peeled for the follow-ups. I liked the characters. Flaws and all.
Huge thank you to the author for the ARC. I see great things ahead for this writer. No doubt about that.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I really liked the characters in the storyline. Personal preference I don’t like glossaries at the beginning of books. I prefer that the terms are just explained as they come up throughout the book. Trying to read on a Kindle and flipping back-and-forth to read the glossary to understand the terms in the book is a bit of a hassle. But again, I enjoyed this book and look forward to the second one.

It started a little slow for me but that could have been my headspace- cause after a couple chapters I was like oh yeah! It is gripping and keeps you pulled in a few directions and not sure who to trust and who not too!

I am already ready for the next book!

There is spice and a good story intrigue, humor and tragedy! All the good things!

I picked up Fangs of Fate as a bonus read for a book club and because it’s written by a local Colorado Springs author. I love supporting local authors, and I genuinely respect the ambition here. This book swings big. Unfortunately, for me, it also misses by a lot.

From page one, this story throws you directly into the deep end. Tate is a vampire who can’t feed normally, has a physical disability, lives between worlds separated by a veil, and moonlights as a morally gray executioner of criminals. So already we’re doing a LOT. There is even child abuse in the first chapter. Thus, the tone is immediately heavy before I’ve even decided if I like anyone.

And then the lore hits. Hard.

Dux. Arche. Anax. Du-Arche. Dokimos. High Lordship. Military orders. Court politics. Mobsters. I felt like I was cramming for a fantasy midterm instead of reading a paranormal romance. The glossary helps, but honestly, a character list and a map would have saved my sanity.

Tate herself ended up being my biggest frustration. She starts out competent, sharp, and street-smart, like a woman who has survived things and knows how to read danger. Then she meets Aether and somehow matures backwards. Suddenly she’s missing obvious clues, ignoring clear solutions, and repeatedly losing consciousness. I was yelling at my book. Girl. Please.

The romance did not feel fully developed. It leans very young adult despite adult situations. There are spicy moments, but a lot of them felt awkward or uncomfortable rather than swoony. There are multiple “this is a mistake” sex scenes, and some questionable consent vibes. Then we jump straight to instant, bonded, forever love with very little emotional buildup. The chemistry just wasn’t there for me.

The dual POV was also a strange choice. We spend a lot of time in Chance’s head. Chance is Tate’s former friend, not the main love interest. His chapters felt disconnected for long stretches. It made the story feel unfocused rather than layered.

Plot-wise, this book wants to do everything. Vampires. Fae who are supposedly extinct but very much not. Dragon shifters. Zombie-like creatures created through black magic experiments. Political corruption. Secret research facilities. Telepathy that just kind of shows up without explanation. By the halfway point, I was overwhelmed and bored at the same time, which is honestly an impressive combo.

There were moments I liked. Tate is verbally spicy, which was fun. The Untish dragon warrior concept is genuinely interesting. One late-book intimate scene at the hospital was actually hot. Those moments of fun are buried under clunky writing, typos, and plot decisions that made me question everyone’s intelligence.

The final battle scene went full sci-fi horror vibes and felt very Alien inspired. The execution was rough. The military dialogue was so cringy it pulled me right out of the story. It read less like trained forces under pressure and more like a middle schooler narrating a video game while trying to impress his Call of Duty friends.

The ending goes full cinematic fantasy. Dragons, explosions, hovering power siphons, dramatic escapes into the night. It’s technically a happily-ever-after, but it felt unearned. Big reveals landed with zero shock because the groundwork wasn’t subtle. By the final chapters, I was counting pages, not savoring the story.

Fangs of Fate reads like a young adult paranormal fantasy that desperately wants to be darker, sexier, and more complex than its execution allows. This was a miss for me because of the dense lore, plot holes, and juvenile character behavior. The ambition was there, but the storytelling never clicked. I won’t be continuing the series.

First and foremost, I’d like to thank Rebecca and her team for this amazing opportunity and welcoming me with open arms onto the ARC crew 🥹 I’m a sucker for a vampire book (hehehe, sucker) so I jumped at the opportunity and it’s been SO fun watching Rebecca’s process through her stories, posts, and DMs!

I’ll do my best to be spoil free but I’m predicting I’ll be too excited about some things to keep quiet. You have been warned.

This books is PERFECT for someone who loves;

🧛 vampires

Tate and Chance were once in love - even marked by one another. But the courses of their lives took very different directions when their morals and values didn’t align. Chance being the son of the President and the betrayal that Tate experienced due to the very government that Chance served didn’t mesh well together.
However, there is a chance for them to reunite. The question is, will the changes that are made within each of them along the journey alter their strong connection?
After breaking the rules in place in order to continue to cross the veil, Tate has an unfortunate disciplinary hearing where she was assigned to fight under the government she despises. She’d already lost her best friend to the guara - despite the friend’s decision being voluntary and other different circumstances.

While it seems that this is the typical vampire second chance romantasy, I can assure you that it is so much more than that. Even with Chance and Tate’s history, there are other characters brought in that have amazing potential to dig some roots into the main characters.
You obviously can’t have a good fantasy book without the bad guys creating monsters (the seethings have entered the chat) and it was quite the ride putting all the pieces together as I read!

Overall, I can’t get enough of this book, these characters, and everything that’s coming in the future!! This is a MUST READ!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

Tate hates the guara, but some unfortunate events throw her right where she vowed to never be. Enlisted in the guara. The minute she gets the chance she is running away, no way she’d ever serve with them! Well little does she know her life is about to change in a way she wouldn’t have ever dreamed. Now fighting with this odd bond to a male she shouldn’t have these feelings toward. Aether isn’t what he seems to be at first glance, and Tate is slowly learning that. But can she really trust him with all the secrets being dumped on her? Even with this intriguing pull…

Chance, the Presidents son, has been in the background even with who his father is. Working as a mid ranking guaraman he is giving a task by his father and the council. During his trip to the outpost he encounters dark magic that he cannot let grow. To keep The Glenn and its people safe Chance dives straight into an investigation of his own. But how in the world does his former lover, Tate, have anything to do with this? Will he be able to handle everything he uncovers?

I absolutely loved Tate and the way she stood her ground for what she believed in. She may not like feeding like her fellow vamps, but I am down with her methods. 😆
She was sassy and didn’t let anyone put her down. And I can’t wait to see where things go with Aether 👀

Chance is an all around guaraman and playboy. Having lost Tate years ago what did it matter? But she would always be his weak spot. I loved his confidence, he definitely wasn’t lacking in that department 😂

I rounded up my rating to 5 stars. But the reason I rated it 4.5 was some conversation dialogue hade repetitive words such as “furthermore” and “ however”. If it were implied they were being more stern in their words the second time I think it would’ve made more sense to me. But that is my only critique!

“There’s no world in which I exist, and you don’t. Aether’s eyes pierced my very soul. Trust me”

A more modern vampire and magic story with dragons???!!! A story I didn’t know I needed, but thoroughly enjoyed and I am desperately in need of book two!

I will be honest it was a bit slow with the world building at the beginning of getting into it, but once it got there I was hooked. It is possible that since I am a mood reader that it took a while because of me and not the actual story so I won’t count that against it. Totally looking forward to book two!

Tate is both predator and prey. In the Glenn, home of the vampires, she is prey, a vampire that struggles with the ethics of feeding! In the human world, she is a predator, vigilante, and hunter of humans the world could do without. When she is caught breaking the law and draining a human completely, she is sentenced to join the guara, her worst nightmare! Tate must negotiate a labyrinth of lies, embrace her new powers, and figure out the bond developing with Aether, a vampire like none she's ever met.
Chance is the son of the vampire president and a member of the guara. His journey to defeat the dark magic and mysterious creatures that threaten the Glenn has him crossing paths with Tate, the one who got away.
I loved this book, over 500 pages, and I flew through it. You've got vampire politics, slow burn enemies to lovers, dragon shifters, and magic, which was all very well done. There was a good element of mystery throughout the story, with both sides trying to figure out the truth behind the dark creatures, who was creating them and why?
The duel pov is unique to me in the sense that the characters only meet a handful of times. They are not each others love interests, and it is not a cat and mouse situation! I loved the character development, im dying to know how Tates powers are going to progress, I want more of her and Aether. I can't wait to find out what Chance is going to do next and what will happen when he next crosses paths with Tate. Bring on book two!

FoF takes place in the Glenn, a world where vampires and humans can co-exist. Tate, who hates the President due to him executing her mother, goes outside the Glenn as often as she can to pursue justice for humans who cannot fight for themselves, and she seeks this justice by feeding. When her feeding gets out of control, shes forced to enlist for the military she despises. During her enlistment, she loses the one father figure she’s ever known and meets Mardi, who begins to show her that she’s not like the other vampires.

Chance, Tate’s ex, loves the military. His father is President and he believes in everything his father supposedly stands for. When he and his troop come into contact with creatures they’ve never witnessed before, Chance starts an investigation while ignoring the red flags all around him.

I loved this more than Fourth Wing. I loved this more than ACOTAR. I loved this more than From Blood and Ash (which was my FAVORITE fantasy series). Rebeca’s world building is so emersive and she keeps you on your toes as Tate and Chance both start unraveling secrets. I thought this dual POV was original (and to avoid spoilers I will not say why). This is Rebecca’s debut novel, and she writes like she’s sold hundreds of bestsellers. I can’t fully encapsulate all my feelings, other than I loved it so much, and Tate is my new favorite FMC. I am SO excited to read the next installment!

Thank you Rebecca Parcha for allowing me to read your debut novel. “Fangs of Fate” was one read that once you sink your fangs into it, it’s hard to let go. It’s a paranormal romance with fantasy aspects on steroids. If you could think of every type of fantasy character there is, they were in this book.

Getting into the story itself, it’s THICK and took me a while to get through it. It was packed with so much: a unique writing style, fantasy mixed with modern technology aspects, some spice, you get to see many dynamics from a dual POV through the entire storyline. For as much that was packed into this story, Rebecca didn’t lose my attention it all. It was incredible to create a mind map through my time reading and really connect each character, try and figure each plot twist and attempt to figure out where this storyline was going. The world building for me was a 5/5. You can vividly imagine every little detail that Rebecca writes in her debut, making you feel like you’re right in their world, around magical beings and attempting to see where the storyline goes. It’s been a minute since a paranormal/fantasy book has had me in complete awe, Rebecca did that with Fangs of Fate. How is this a debut, I have no idea! But I do know I’ll be reading the 2nd book whenever it’s ready! 5/5 recommend this new author to everyone who loves plot twists, all the magical characters and amazing world-building!

I really loved this book! It was a bit slow for me to get into at first (hence the rating 4.5⭐) but it was still an amazing book. Loved the characters, my second romantasy book and I really liked it. The cover is stunning, i'm excited to get into the 2nd book. Would definitely recommend! The storyline was really enjoyable and I liked the POV's, my first enemies2lovers trope too. My favourite character is Tate - love her! 2.5-3🌶️

Well, this just moved up to one of my top reads of the entire year!! This book has all the romantasy good stuff! The action, the conflicts, the epic fighting scenes, the tension, the characters, the idgaf FMC, a hot and mysterious shadow daddy MC, vampires, fae, dragons, slow burn romance, betrayal, loss, political intrigue… It was so hard to put this down!

The FMC, Tate, is a vigilante vampire that protects humans and has a grudge against the vampire military that controls The Glenn. With her life split between the human world and the vampire world, she doesn’t see the threat of war coming until it’s too late. She forced into the military she hates with no one to trust and no answers to why she’s suddenly “changing”.

This is a dual POV with MC, Chance, the son of The Glenn’s president, and Tate’s former lover. A playboy and high ranking military officer that has little to worry about until strange things start happening and he begins to realize something very sinister is going on and there’s a traitor amongst them. Only he has no idea who it is with the evidence pointing in all directions.

I cannot wait to read the next installment!! It feels like waiting on Iron Flame all over again!

Fangs of Fate is available now! I highly recommend this and give it infinity stars!

Thank you to the author, Rebecca Parcha, for gifting me the eARC in exchange for my honest review 🖤
