For fans of dark comedy and unconventional love stories, hapless teenager Paul summons Astaroth, a Great Duke of Hell, to help him get a date with a girl in this devilishly funny, Ringo award-nominated WEBTOON comic.
The girl of your dreams barely knows you exist. Your friends can’t help. Your family is clueless. So where do you turn for love advice? Who can provide you with that essential assistance for the lovelorn?
If you're an average everyday teenager like Paul, you summon a powerful demon from the deep recesses of Hell, and frankly, hope for the best.
Say you actually did this, and your plan was flawless . . . You cultivated some eldritch magic powers, summoned Astaroth, a duke of Hell, and even got a job at the café where your crush Elena works. Awesome, right?
So what if your sister Juliet saw the ritual and ran off into the woods to hire a legendary exorcist? And so what if you misunderstood your demonic contract and (accidentally) deeply insulted Astaroth, and now he’s out for revenge? It’s all going to work out just fine.
This volume collects episodes 45–67 of the devilishly funny WEBTOON comic Love Advice from the Great Duke of Hell.
I loved the first installment of this graphic novel! This one was just as fun! It's a quirky read for sure! There are a couple of spots where it jumps around a lot so it's easy to get a little lot if you're not paying a ton of attention. If you're a fan of WEBTOON or graphic novels in general you should be just fine though.
The art has this perfect balance between pretty and uncanny which I feel adds a lot to the overall story! Check this out if you read and enjoyed the first one!
Review to come! Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review!
I literally LOL the whole time. The story is kind of hectic and all over the place but I believe it is a slap stick style humor.
I also love how the character’s faces are drawn at certain times.
If you are looking for a lighthearted, humorous read then this is perfect. The plot isn’t focused as much as the humor, so the general gist of the story line is a boy summons a demon to help him win the heart of a coworker. Then you get a little bit of slice of life, magic spells, jokes etc. It’s adorable how the demons interact with the humans and I found myself laughing almost every page LOL…
I love it and definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a funny story and you can’t take anything serious in the comic.
Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for a copy in exchange for review.
We continue to follow Paul on his journey of achieving a date with the (what he thinks is) love of his life, Elena. Now that his little sister is dragged into the mix, reader's continue to follow the silly, yet serious storyline of secret societies and demon hunting. Just how strong are Paul and his sister? The ending leaves off on a big reveal, making readers eager to learn what's gonna happen next. 3/5 stars.
This series is so fun and silly. It's VERY chaotic and can get confusing but honestly it's a fun time. It's a really quick read. Enjoy the wild ride this series takes you on! It did end on a cliff hanger so I'm intrigued to see where this is headed.
Thank you Netgalley and WEBTOON Unscrolled for the digital copy! All opinions are my own!

Now that Paul’s romantic pursuit isn’t going so well, he’s starting to regret summoning the Great Duke of Hell to give him advice. He’s looking at losing his soul in a couple days all while making no progress with his crush! To top things off, he now has competition, but little does he know that it’s the Great Duke of Hell in disguise.
I loved the first volume so much that I almost decided to start following the story in its original WEBTOON format. While I did enjoy this second volume, it was all over the place at times, but it managed to be absolutely hilarious! Plus, the artwork is amazing and really helps in the humor department, especially this time around where the story goes a little off the rails at times.
I don’t want to say too much and start dropping spoilers because it’s one of those stories that’s really easy to accidentally spoil, but if you like the overall premise, I say give it a go. The first volume is top tier humor and the second volume falls a little short, but is still a fun read. I was not expecting that cliffhanger, so I’m excited to see where the story goes from here!
Love Advice from the Great Duke of Hell" is marketed as, "Hi, I'm Paul. An ordinary teenager you could find pretty much anywhere. And like ordinary teens, I've got a crush... on this girl, Elena. Thing is, let alone ask her out. So I summoned a demon to get some help."
Briefly, this was marketed incorrectly. 5% of the plot line was related to the title.
Personally, the premise of graphic novels should be to build up reading comprehension and vocabulary as the visual and textual storytelling helps us, the readers, to interpret the story. The audience is supposed to swiftly analyze the meaning from the combination of images and texts. While I do agree that some parts made me laugh out loud, I was mostly confused while reading due to the story being disorganized and having too many insignificant side characters. If you read the first installment on WEBTOON, there's no need to pick up this 2nd volume due to its collection of episodes 45-67.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this story to anyone nor would I continue with completing the series. To Ufins, congratulations on the success on the first release. I so badly wish this worked out for me. Thank you to Unfins, Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group, and NetGalley for providing this ARC.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this advanced reading copy.
This story had such a great idea behind the plot and I did appreciate the art style however I did expect the art and coloring of it to be a bit brighter based off the cover. The art also did feel just a little inconsistent at times. I do think the sense of humor was silly and funny but definitely felt like the story itself could have been organized a little better as there were some panels that were a little confusing as if missing a bit of context here and there. I did get lost and I think it could flow a little better if that was worked on a bit more. I did really enjoy the ending of this one despite it being a huge cliffhanger. I can absolutely see how people would enjoy this story however it was not a super big favorite for me all around.
This was such a chaotic fun time that I don’t even know where to start. Coming back from such a beautiful first volume, I wasn’t sure how the series could continue where it left off, but we did just that. Astaroth in his sexy human form is set to steal Elena from the love struck Paul, but funnily enough, she doesn’t want the rippling muscles of Daddy Demon at all.
When I thought the story was going one way, there would be a twist that threw me for a loop. This reads like an SNL skit of Mad Magazine comic strip. You don’t really know where it’s going, but you’re gonna laugh the whole way through.
Paul and Astaroth’s shenanigans continue! Paul's sister also gets some more page time in this volume, and Elena’s secrets start to have more light shed on them. It ended on a cliff hanger leaving me wanting more! While the plot will always be more focused on comedy then crafting a solid plot, I dont mind in the least. This brand of comedy will always be my favorite, and this volume packs in a ton. The art always delivers on the comedy and it also easy to understand what is happening.
Thank you to NetGalley and WEBTOON for providing an arc in exchange for an honest review!
Love advice from the great Duke of hell is a fantastic read what starts off as a simple request turns into a a complex quest filled with so many twist and turns that you will do a double take multiple times. If you fully enjoy dry straight forward humor and panels with characters having absolutely normal reactions and faces to everything go on around them. I highly recommend it.
The second volume does have an amazing ending to it that will have you looking forward to the third book I can highly recommend this and the authors other works as well.
I was given an arc of this book through Netgalley I thank the author and netgalley for letting me read this in advance.
Thank you to Webtoon and NetGalley for letting me read and review this graphic novel.
Now I was a huge fan of volume 1 I loved it so much, unfortunately this instalment fell flat. It focused on different characters for the most part but just dropped into them so I was wondering what was happening right from the beginning. Book one was hilarious and had me laughing out load this one… not a cracked smile. The other reviewers I’m wondering if they read a different book. Anyways, the art was gorgeous as ever but I’m not sure I will continue as this one didn’t do it for me.
Thank you NetGalley, Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group, and WEBTOON Unscrolled for this arc!
4/5 stars
This was a pretty funny and quick next installment of this series. As always, I absolutely love the expressions in this series they're so deadpan and ffuuunnnyyyy 😂😂 This volume felt like it went by really quickly, with like a lot happening but not a lot at the same time? Weird I know, but I still enjoyed it! That cliffhanger ending though, what's going to happen further in this series?! Definitely going to keep reading!
Love Advice From the Great Duke of Hell Volume Two is a super fun continuation of the graphic novel series by unfins! I am really enjoying the chaotic vibes of this series, but it can be a bit hard to follow some times. Excellent twist at the end though! Definitely a fun read and follows up on the first volume nicely!
Thanks to NetGalley, unfins, and Webtoon for the chance to read and review. My opinions are my own!
Thank you NetGalley and WWBG for allowing me to read this book #2 the Love Advice From The Great Duke of Hell Vol 2.
I really enjoy reading the Vol 1 and now that I complete this Vol 2. I am so glad, I love the book and the story, now that the end is like cliffhanger it making me curious if there will be Vol 3. I give this book rate a 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is a fun series so far. The humor is a bit on the corny/sitcom side, but I don't mind that in this case. I like the character Sushi. His and Astaroth's revenge plan was funny and made it feel like a romcom. Of course, a lot of the jokes are just the juxtaposition of having this Duke of Hell having to deal with mundane human things, but I think it works for this lighthearted, fast read.

A great sequel! I loved seeing more of Paul and Astaroth's shenanigans, and all of the wild things the side characters are experiencing. Following Juliet was a hoot! And the ending was such a twist! I really wasn't expecting that at all! I can't wait for volume 3.
Volume 2 picks up after volume 1 and is just as quirky and fun. There were times I laughed out loud, just like the first volume. I'd recommend if you read and liked the first volume. This one does jump around a bit more than the previous one, though, and really bumps up the chaos.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an advance copy for review.
I recently got into this WEBTOON and the format of this is awesome! I like how the layout is and the length of it. Overall, love it! The series in general is so fun and quirky. The art is really weird at first, but eventually it adds to the comedy. Highly recommend!
This book is so weird, but in a good way. It made me laugh out loud a few times because it has such jarring humor and uses the art style to really add impact to whatever is happening. Also, what a twist at the end!
The plot is too all over the place and isn't as funny as the first volume except for the old martial arts master being a fraud. I still enjoy the artwork. The last page has a twist about the love interest that made e question the premise of the book because it felt like a cheap gimmick.
I loved the webtoon series and read the whole thing. Can't wait to have a physical copy of this amazing work. Unfins is one of my favorite authors and I can't wait for their next series "Vampire Family" to get a physical version too.
I was chuckling and it was simply fun to find myself enjoying the humor in this hellish story. The art is not too colorful which fits the story more, I love the colors that were chosen.
Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to read this arc. It was a fun read. I loved the art too. I am definitely looking forward to this coming out. I intend to buy it.
