After ten years of marriage and three miscarriages, Jessica Taylor is fighting to keep her sanity and her marriage. She adores her husband, Drew, and would do anything for him. But when she sees signs he may be cheating on her, Jessi is heartbroken—and angry.
Betrayal is nothing new to Jessi. She’s been betrayed by a family member before, and they paid dearly for it. Now, Jessi must decide if she will try to save her marriage or give up on those she loves. Again.
This story is for people that think killing a cheating spouse is justifiable homicide. I like a splash of revenge after cheating, but this went too far. Not enjoyable when your heroine is a psychopath. Letting the punishment fit the crime is more enjoyable.
This is a quick little read about a crazed wife getting revenge on her cheating spouse and BFF. There’s not much to it, it’s fairly predictable, and will require you to overlook anything you learned in science class, but no one escapes comeuppance.
I read this with a grin on my face the entire story. The FMC is batshit crazy and diabolical but I loved her. Don’t cheat on your wife with the neighbor while she’s dealing with multiple miscarriages and maybe you won’t get life in jail for killing her. 😈
I need more stories of betrayed women who set up their husband and his ho-bag to take the fall for her fake murder.

Karma is a bitch and her name is Jess. Jess's husband isnt as loving and devoted as he appears to be as he sneaks around for months with her good friend and neighbor. Both of them dont know what in the Gone Girl hit them with their double betrayl of Jess's trust and love.
I dont usually read revenge thrillers without a romance element ( no the other Woman banging the husband does not count at all) but was a fan of The Golden Cage by Camilla Läckberg so this novella was right up my alley.

Let me tell you the MFC definitely is twisted. She makes and serves her own justice. First her Mother who wanted to have her committed just because she wanted to leave and go to College.
Then you have her cheating husband and her friend from next door. She got them good! Showed them for cheating on her, lol.
Fun, dark, and OTT novella where revenge takes center stage. The FMC probably has any number of trauma-borne psych diagnoses driving her behavior, but that’s not part of the story-only the action is. Therapy-core this is not!
If you’re in a reading slump and need some briefly captivating OTT drama llama marital cheating with some resultant FAFO, this one might hit the spot for you!

Well colour me surprised! I thought this was another Betrayal/grovelling romance! Wrong! This was in a thriller. Now I like thrillers but was not expecting this to be one.
It had all the elements of a good thriller just in Novella length. There was no HEA unless you consider the continuing of the MFC as she goes on hurting those who love her. It ends with her scoping out and leaving a trap for her next victim.
CHEATING with your wife’s best friend? Sir, are you begging for trouble? Because you got it. They both got it. They thought they were slick—sneaking around like Jessi was this naive, emotionally fragile housewife. But what they didn’t realize is they were playing with someone who was ten steps ahead. A predator in a sundress.
Also—cheating 101: you don’t do it close to home. You don’t go for the bestie. That’s just reckless. Drew and Amy thought they were untouchable, thought they were being smart. But then the tables turned, and surprise—Jessi wasn’t the only one with masks.
Was Drew’s punishment a little much? That’s debatable. But for me, someone who’s lived through lies, gaslighting, and feeling like the punchline in someone else’s joke? Nah. They got exactly what they had coming.
And that “soulmate” energy between Drew and Amy? Shattered in 0.5 seconds under pressure. If that’s love, I’ll pass.
This was actually predictable but it’s so well written that I still gave it four stars. The prologue is about a teen. The rest of the story is about a married woman who thinks her husband may be cheating. The epilogue is about a real estate agent who is very successful.
Love this novella. Complete story in less than100 pages. I love a story when narcissists and cheaters get what they deserve. And yes, I was rooting for the FMC all the way even tho she might be a little off.
This book is for the ladies who hate a cheating spouse in romance. He and the ow get a comeuppance like no other. But Keira/Jessi/Alison just may be certifiably crazy. Basically don't cross her or betray her and you'll be just fine 😬.
Psychological thriller. Novella length, less than 100 pages. The heroine has been married to her husband for ten years, and has just had another miscarriage, so she’s hurt and emotionally unstable. The husband has been cheating on her for months because she is needy and has mood swings. The fucker has been doing his neighbor, a single mother, and they’re been planning to divorce the heroine after she and the husband have had their ten year party, then they will go and live together. The hero is really a weak and distasteful character, with nothing good. The heroine though, plans her revenge. I won’t say more, but it’s very very twisted and I must admit, they deserved it. I was rooting for her. Unusual and brutal, but nice, for me that am a nasty resentful bitch that holds a grudge to the infinity and beyond. I recommend it. Of course it’s not ethical, but it’s fair and just retribution.
This story was very enticing. I’m reading wondering wow the FL is …ruthless. Did the other characters deserve their prison sentencing? No but wow hell has no fury than a woman’s scorn. I wish we had the neighbor’s point of view in this. Mainly was she told what was going on or she was that perfect witness to what was going on. This is for 18+ age group for readers due to several triggers. I do recommend this book for anyone looking for a short sweet revenge plan story.
This was such a short story, but it packed a punch. It has very little angst for a cheating story. It's more about the cheaters and scumbags getting what they deserve in the end. I enjoyed it a lot. Short but sweet!
It's weird. It's twisted. It's terrible justice. And I loved it. Short, brutal and fantastic.
Psychological thriller in which a scorned, betrayed and cheated on wife (whose had three very painful miscarriages- so trigger warning) sets up her husband and his girlfriend (her neighbor and really good friend) to make it look like they murdered her.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS!! What an exhilarating story. Enjoyed it from start to finish. Would love to know how she creates these backgrounds for these new personas but I loved the intrigue. If the mom hadn’t tried to use her illness against her, I might’ve felt bad. I definitely didn’t feel bad for the husband and the friend.
Super short novella available on Kindle Unlimited. I'm not sure why it's rated this high. It's a total ripoff of a super popular thriller. It wasn't terrible. It is entertaining enough, readable, and even bingeable. It's about a woman who seeks revenge when she finds out her husband is cheating on her with her best friend.
This is not my usual style of book, but it caught my attention and held it the whole time. I sort of want to know what happens next, even if it’s just mundane every day stuff! In real life I think this would be wildly eccentric, but for a book I was kinda cheering the main character on when I generally wouldn’t. Lol.
Wow this woman was clever and tbh loved the way she handled her cheating husband and so called best friend .It was short but got straight to the plot .was fast paced and never dull,I loved this mfc character and her revenge which even though I sort of guessed the end it was good
The narrative moved along at a great clip. The crumbs were dropped at appropriate moments—nothing came out of left field. There was a lot to unpack with this novella but the setup was fantastic.
A quick little read that kept me turning the pages, even though you can predict what was going to happen. The suspense definitely was built. I also wanted to jump through the screen and slap Drew and Amy for that matter.
It's just too crazy for me. I love revenge, but this goes too far , especially when a kid is involved. What happened to the neighbor son? Mental health needs to be talked about in detail.
A nice short little thriller about a woman who takes extreme measures to leave her uncomfortable life behind. Is she unbalanced, or just decisive in knowing when relationships are not working? Okay, certainly dysfunctional.
