~Marriage of Convenience ~Forced Proximity ~Class Difference ~Unrequited Love ~Hero Rescues Heroine ~Opposites Attract
Just because they could get married doesn’t necessarily mean they should…
All Lord Leonidas Westbrook wanted was a new adventure in Greece. Saving a pretty lass from abduction was not on his itinerary. In fact, doing so made him miss the tide and ruined all his plans. But regardless, he knew helping the woman was the right thing to do. He never imagined he’d end up proposing a marriage of convenience…or that he’d fall for her. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened…
Primrose McKessick fled Scotland to avoid an arranged marriage. It worked, too. Until she was almost kidnapped, that is. After all she’d been through, having to accept help from the handsome Leonidas was bad enough. But accepting his unconventional proposal? That was madness. Especially if she hoped to escape this misadventure with her heart intact…
Choosing each other—and happily ever after—might cost Leonidas and Primrose their life-long dreams. Is their fledgling relationship strong enough to survive their differences? Or are these opposites destined to go their separate ways?

Another nice story about the Westbrooks . Leonidas rescue Primrose from her evil cousin. Take her to his brother’s club. Where she gets a job and a room to stay in. Leonidas try not to fall for Primrose, because he wants to go on his travels to Greece. But Cupid arrows 💘 strikes one again.
Primrose flees Scotland and lands in the arms of a handsome lord, but can she guard her heart from love? Collette Cameron has penned a beautiful touching romance. Minuet at Midnight has everything I look for in a romance and more. The characters are engaging and unforgettable. The action and intrigue propel the story. The romance, though, will sweep you off your feet.
Let’s start with the characters. I connected with Primrose in so many ways. She’s a feisty heroine who wears her emotions for all to see. She’s been through a lot yet keeps a level head. After being rescued by Lord Leonidas, she must make some tough decisions. Primrose is very well-written and portrayed. Her POV is entertaining and insightful. Lord Leonidas is a consummate hero who is captivated by Primrose. He gives up his voyage to Greece to help her and keep her safe. Before he realizes it, he’s in love and must make her his. The rest of the characters are true to the time period and flesh out the story.
The romance covers several tropes, and I was hooked from the start. It’s an instant attraction but builds slowly. They don’t rush into anything. There is a fair bit of misunderstanding and drama. I kept urging them on and hoping they’d realize what they have. The ending was so wonderful.
If you’re looking for a historical romance with all the emotion, you’ll love Minuet at Midnight. Collette Cameron has written another flawless gem.
All Lord Leonidas Westbrook wanted was a new adventure in Greece. Saving a pretty lass from abduction was not on his itinerary. In fact, doing so made him miss the tide and ruined all his plans. Primrose McKessick fled Scotland to avoid an arranged marriage after her mother & brother died. A letter from her Aunt arrived at just the right moment, it offered her the chance to act as a companion to her aunt whilst travelling to Italy. Then she's almost kidnapped but is saved by Leonidas. But her rejected suitor is chasing her so Leonidas offers an unconventional proposal. This was a lovely story. I loved both Leonidas & Primrose & was engrossed in their journey to a HEA. There were some twists & turns as well as horrid villains. The story flowed effortlessly & I devoured this utterly charming romance in a sitting. I just love the Westbrook family My review is for a special copy I voluntarily read
The author skillfully weaves a tale of adventure, danger, and love between two unlikely characters: Lord Leonidas Westbrook, a restless English nobleman who seeks a new challenge, and Primrose McKessick, a spirited Scottish lass who flees from an unwanted marriage. Their paths cross when Leonidas rescues Primrose from a kidnapping attempt, and he offers her a marriage of convenience to protect her from further harm. But what starts as a practical arrangement soon blossoms into a passionate affair, as they discover they have more in common than they thought. However, their happiness is threatened by their different dreams and expectations, as well as the secrets and enemies that lurk in the shadows. Will they be able to overcome the obstacles and find their true destiny together?
Minuet at Midnight is a captivating and charming story that will keep you hooked from the first page to the last. The characters are well-developed and engaging, with witty dialogue and sizzling chemistry. Leonidas is a dashing and honorable hero who is willing to risk everything for the woman he loves. Primrose is a strong and independent heroine who is not afraid to speak her mind and follow her heart. Their relationship is full of humor, tenderness, and passion, as they learn to trust and respect each other. I loved Primrose's funny comparisons of people she met or saw and then compared them to a specific dog breed - it was very funny!
I highly recommend this perfect read for fans of historical romance who enjoy sweet, spicy, and satisfying stories with humor and inspiration. If you are looking for a romantic escape that will make you smile, swoon, and sigh, then you should definitely pick up this book! You won’t regret it! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book; all thoughts and opinions are my own.
The third son of a duke comes to the rescue of a Scottish lass when she is almost caught in her cousin's trap. If that's not bad enough, someone else is looking for her. Her step-father sold her in a marriage contract. Protected inside De la Chance, she's safe from the outside, but her heart belongs to the man inside who saved her. Much turmoil for a man who considered himself a confirmed bachelor and heartbreak for a young lady in love. Keep a box of tissues handy. Kisses only. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book gifted by the author.
Primrose Crystabel Faye McKessick, daughter of Rosmund Tierney McKessick, the once-pampered youngest daughter of an English viscount, her step father Lyster McKessick owner of The Quacking Dog, Lyster’s tavern and inn. Within months she lost her only sibling, dear, sweet, sickly Oleander, and her mother. Now Lyster is demanding she marry, feudal baron Wallace MacLerie, Baron of Glentorquith who is short, fat, and heavy handed.
She makes her escape after receiving a letter from Aunt Rhodesia Shenton-Wayford to act as her companion while she travels to Italy. Her cousin, Chesley Shenton-Wayford meets her at the docks where she just arrived from Scotland. When she spies the thugs waiting, her instincts tell her he is lying. Gilroy Hadleigh, otherwise known as the West End Whoremaster, is there also.
Lord Leonidas Rafe Desmond Westbrook, traveler, wonderer, and author of travel books is getting ready to board the same she her aunt says they are sailing on. However, the ship is setting sail to Greece. As the third son to the Duke of Latham, he is thrilled with his wonderlust.
Prim asks a total stranger for information and is glad she did. She finds herself in a bad spot but Leonidas is there and offers help. Now his trip is on hold and he is not worried. He offers Prim help with a job and room off working for his half-brother Fletcher at De la Chance an exclusive elegant club.
When a Scotsman starts asking if they has seen a woman, Prim has to tell them why she left Scotland and who might be looking for her. As they relax thinking the man has left another shows up to claim rights to Prim. Which leads Leonidas to say a marriage of convenience is her best option.
As the wedding get to the "I do's" Prim say, "sorry but I can't" and leaves Leonidas at the alter.
So now that I have teased you, come join the world of fun as Prim finds her place in the world and Leonidas finds what his heart really needs. Collette weaves such a case of qwerty characters with great dynamics and witty introspective dialogue. And the comparison to dogs is so funny, I just loved how she relates the people to different dog types
I received an ARC of this story from the author. I wouldn’t say it’s entirely original, but no story is. The combination of characters and plot makes it a one-of-a-kind story that could only be told by one person. And it is well-told.
At the beginning, we are introduced to Primrose McKessick, traveling alone from Scotland to London to meet her aunt for a trip to Italy. When she arrives at the port, her cousin finds her and attempts to cajole her into his coach, saying the trip is tomorrow and her aunt is waiting to meet her. But Primrose suspects her cousin and, seeing Leonidas Westbrook, asks him about the ship currently in port. He confirms it is leaving that night. He also recognizes the man with Primrose’s cousin as a collector of girls for his brothel. Leonidas steps in and saves her, but this means he cannot leave for Greece as he had planned to do. Instead, he brings her to his brother’s hotel where they can stay while they figure out what to do with her.
Meanwhile, after someone from Scotland comes looking for Primrose, she confesses she ran because her father had sold her to a retched older man in marriage and she refused to marry him. Having recently lost her mother and her last sibling, there was nothing to hold her in Scotland, and many reasons to leave, so when she received the invitation from her aunt, she packed up and scurried away. Unfortunately, her aunt is deceased and she has no other family or friends to help her. Leonidas’ brother, Fletcher, hires Primrose as his bookkeeper because she has experience gained from managing the books at her father’s hotel, although to call it a hotel, seems wrong. It sounds like more of a hovel serving food and drinks and offering rooms for rent.
Obviously, there’s a budding romance between Leonidas and Primrose, but Leonidas, in particular, is unwilling to consider tying himself to her. He fights his attraction to her every step of the way while she refuses to settle for anything less than his love and commitment. In the end, he’s the one who has to acknowledge that he’s happier with her and he can’t live without her.
There were a few parts noteworthy to me. Like when Leonida’s guards pick up Primrose’s cousin after he has been knocked out and haul “him up the gangplank with the same care and courtesy as one might a carpet soiled with fresh horse manure.”
It’s a relatively short story. I think that’s why I didn’t connect with the characters on a deep level. Of course, I was happy when they found their HEA, but this type of story always leaves me lamenting all of the women forced into such marriages who didn’t get their HEA. Although relieved that Primrose doesn’t suffer the same fate, my joy is tempered by the knowledge that others were not so lucky.
This is a delightfully sweet book! Primrose McKessick needs to escape the horrible tavern where she works and where her father has sold her off to a horrible Baron. Just in time, she gets a letter from her aunt in London to join her as a companion on a trip to Italy. Unfortunately, when she finally arrives at the dock instead of her aunt she finds her cousin and a creepy man who happens to be a whoremaster. Her cousin sold her out. Is there anyone who isn't trying to buy her? Leonidas Westbrook also happens to be at the docks preparing for a trip to Greece. When he sees the trouble happening he steps in to help, quickly dispatching with the 2 villains and taking Primrose to his brother's establishment where she would be able to find employment. She was qualified for almost every job there was but proved herself to be a capable bookkeeper. It is good to see a woman take advantage of a good job not because she is a woman but because she is most qualified. She is able to finally be independent except the Baron has chased her down to London and she must stay inside out of his sight. While Leonidas had plans to rebook his trip he found that something was keeping him in place. There was an attraction between the two and even though he had planned to never marry there was something about Primrose that kept him coming back. This book is a quick read and when the Happily Ever After comes it is worth the wait.
Okay, this book actually made me cry when it got close to the end. It's been so long since a book has brought that out in me, but one scene between Leonidas and Primrose touched my heart to the point where it brought tears. A good book will make you laugh; a great book will make you cry.
This story started out with a bang when Primrose makes a break from her father and the man she was supposed to marry. She'd received a letter from her aunt, inviting her to travel with her. Primrose makes a run for it. She doesn't want to deal anymore with her father and she certainly doesn't want to marry a man who is much older than she and has lost two wives under questionable circumstances.
When she gets to the docks to board the ship with her aunt, she realizes that nothing was as it was supposed to be and she finds herself in a bit of trouble.
Leonidas witnessed the situation and offered her an escape. He was set to sail to Greece and write another travel book, but he couldn't leave a damsel in distress. He couldn't leave her. He was so clever with what he did with his passage. Good thinking, Leonidas. *applause*
This is a love-at-first-sight trope that kept me so involved that I could've read it in one sitting, if life hadn't reared its ugly head. I loved how the entire family of Westbrooks took a liking to Primrose and set out to defend her, but I especially loved feeling her and Leonidas fall in love. There are some tender moments, some surprises, and a fantastic ending.
Easy, easy five stars.
*I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily left a review.
Extremely well written, full of love, action, romance, mystery, suspense, intrigue, family and love. This story has a way of reeling you in and keeping you there. Holds your attention and puts you right into the story as it happens. Primrose has escaped from her step father who plans on marring her off to an older man, who just so happens had been married to two other women who died by accidents. So she runs and hides till she can make her way to the wharf's in London to become her Aunt's travel companion. Once there she finds out that it was a trap by her cousin to sell her, she trying to get away she runs into Leonidas. He helps her and provide a safe place and a job for her at his brother's place of business. Such a spellbinding tale of love in this book, hopefully Fletcher , his brother is so lucky and his story is next. Would recommend to everyone. I am an ARC and leave this unbiased, honest review.
There's just something about the Westbrooks! A sweet romance blossoms into full colour under the threat of abduction, a desire to protect and a spirling deepset need to be the one to be that rescuer and alter her sickening fate. I didn't realise how connected I had become to Primrose and Leonidas until I found myself crying in the third act. I loved the fragile vulnerability of Primrose, dipped in a core of I'll-go-down-fighting steel that drew keen traveller and compassionate protector, Leonidas, in with one glance and a heady dose of inexplicable fascination and keen unfathomable draw. Enchanting him with the unexpected temptation to reassess his fear of marriage rooting him in one place and clipping his wings. As for the first time he questions his self-foreseen bachelor future, of persistent adventure, against a bewildering tug that eclipses his longing to set sail and may just have him desiring to stay. The relatable conflicting want to cling close, while pushing away that warring desire to give into temptation, really pulled me in and added an element of believability to the tale. A subtle draw that kept me turning the pages and searching for their next encounter. In many ways, I only wish we were gifted with more of those close clinches that thrummed with a quiet tension that charged their interactions and really made their new found growing recognition of their feelings sing, so they could continue to hype up the real ache of raw yearning and convey more profoundly the connection they came to feel. With some fun subcharacters that add warmth, joy and a good spot of much needed support, whether that be the hilarious, I-always-pop-up-at-the-opportune-moment,Torrian, to flex my investigative muscle and have your back or the matchmaking efforts of the perceptive, eye-twinkling Fletcher. I really did enjoy this addition to the series... looking forward to the next!

We return to the world of the Westbrooks, this time, getting to know Leonidas. A chance encounter on a dock saves a damsel in distress, and irrevocably changes his life.
Primrose McKessick flees a fate worse than death for the chance at adventure and a new life. Little does she know that this opportunity is a nefarious scheme meant to put her in grave danger.
The story that unfolds in this sweet romance is endearing. We see that underneath the diminutive stature of Primrose there lies a fiercely independent woman. Even when presented with a situation that will save her from any future danger, she stays true to herself, and will not compromise her values. And our hero Leonidas, he who values his independence and freedom above all else, finds that they are nothing without the woman he loves.
From the seedier side of London, to a ballroom beautifully decorated, and a minuet at midnight, we witness how Primrose and Leonidas find each other, fall in love, and begin their own adventure.
From the minute Lord Leonidas steps up to protect Primrose, I was hooked. Primrose thinks she’s escaping a bad arranged marriage by taking a trip abroad as companion to her elderly aunt. Travel-writer Leonidas thinks he’s headed out on his next foreign adventure. Instead, they both end up on dry land trying to hide Primrose from villains. For a fairly quick read, there is a lot going on in this one. Plenty of suspense & interesting characters. Really fun epilogue. Thanks to the author for allowing me to read an advance copy.
4.5 stars This is a such a fun, entertaining, good read. Leonidas and Primrose are interesting, relatable, entertaining, intriguing characters. They captured my attention form the start and held it until the very end of the book. I enjoyed both the story and the romance. The secondary characters added to the fabric of the story. This is a fun world to lose myself in for the duration of the story. This story got better and better for me as I read. I love epilogues and this one was perfect for this couple and their romance.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
A very sweet historical romance. Continue to fall in love with the Westbrook family as Leonodios rescues a damsel in distress. Primrose finds herself on the docks in need of assistance. The story is written in a soothing cadence that will keep you entertained. With wonderful and delightful characters and can’t help but keep turning the pages to its happy conclusion.
I loved reading the story of Primrose and Leonidas. I especially enjoyed the part Fletcher played in their "courtship"! Thank you for the advanced copy, it was a great read!
I really enjoyed this quick read. Primrose has had enough of her stepfather. He has abused her for years and now he has gone and sold her to a mean old man. She heads to London to go on a trip as a companion to her aunt. When she arrives in London, she only finds her cousin who seems to be selling her to a local whoremonger. She isn't sure what she will do until a man comes to her rescue. Leonidas is on his way to Greece. He is about to get on the ship when a woman is accosted by some men. Leonidas knows he has to help this woman. He ends up shipping her cousin to Greece and the other man to prison. What to do with Primrose? He takes her to his brother who gives her a place to live and a job. Leonidas has been a wanderer and knows he should be on his way to Greece, but just can't leave Primrose yet. He has vowed to never marry, but sometimes things change.
Lord Leonidas Westbrook is finally able to leave for another adventure after months of delays due to siblings' weddings and lurking danger. Just as he is set to board the ship bound for Greece he encounters Primrose McKessick who is in need of a helping hand. Though no new travel book will be written from it, Lord Leonidas is about to embark on his greatest adventure yet.
I loved how this story had all the feels you want in a good HR. Villains to despise, heroes to adore, a heroine to admire, humor, angst, frustration, satisfaction and love. The villains were spectacularly despicable making it that much more satisfying when they got their comeuppance. Our heroes, Leonidas and his brother Fletcher, are beautiful men who help while allowing our heroine to be autonomous. Primrose was a delightful, courageous and funny heroine. This story was an engaging read. I'm truly looking forward to the next book in this series.
I received an ARC of this book and have reviewed it with my own honest opinion.
Beautiful story of Primrose, who is running from an arranged marriage and Lord Leonidas Westbrook, a confirmed bachelor, who rescues her from an evil cousin. There was great interaction between Primrose and Leonidas. This was a wonderful, clean, sweet story with some twists and turns.
Leonidas - 3rd son, writes travel books and enjoys traveling. Primrose- left Scotland to escape an Unwanted betrothed to a slimy baron who bribed her "stepfather". I enjoyed reading this intriguing and entertaining story. Their chemistry and the family interactions/ meddling hade me rooting them on. I absolutely loved Primrose independently strong but not stupid. She has good instincts who to trust and decisions that need to be made. Their story has a wonderfully loving hea .
Primrose McKessick is determined not to wed the rotter to whom her scumbag of a father has betrothed her. Luckily, a letter from her aunt offering travel to Italy comes at the perfect time. When Primrose arrives at the dock to meet her aunt, her cousin shows up with his friend who happens to be the West End Whoremaster. Lord Leonidas Westbrook is on the dock getting ready to board his ship to travel to Greece – the same ship Primrose said she is taking to Italy. Sensing something not right, Leonidas signals his men, and they help Primrose to safety.
Not able to return to Scotland, Primrose finds work as a bookkeeper at De la Chance, an establishment owned by Leonidas’s brother Fletcher. Leonidas proposes a marriage of convenience to protect Primrose, and although there is a strong attraction between them, she refuses because Leonidas is a confirmed bachelor and still has plans to travel the world. And what about Primrose’s life dreams? Can they overcome their reluctance to marry and follow their hearts to their happily ever after?
There is just something about the Westbrook family that makes you want to cheer for them to overcome any obstacle blocking their path to their HEA. Ms. Cameron has woven a heartwarming story that combines love, class differences, adventure, and horrid villains. The classic, quirky Cameron banter and dialogue will have you laughing out loud and enjoying every moment of the book. I cannot wait for the next book and more family intrigue!!
Thank you to Ms. Cameron for an advanced copy. I happily read the story and provide my honest opinion.
When Primrose McKessick received a letter inviting her to accompany her aunt to Italy, she thought it the perfect way to escape her “father” and her unwanted betrothal. When she arrived at the docks in London, she is met by her cousin and discovers he has a nefarious plan for her. Lord Leonidas Westbrook is at the dock to board his ship to Greece. When he sees the problem between Primrose and the men who have met her, he decides to rescue this damsel in distress. He plans to help her find lodging and employment with his brother Fletcher, and rebook his passage to Greece (his first booking was used in a most creative way). This is an engaging story with some outstanding characters. The Westbrook brothers and cousins are strong, watchful, and safety conscious. Leonidas is an adventurer who writes travel books. Primrose has not had a comfortable life. She is brave, independent, clever, and justifiably wary. The villains are vile, and thankfully get comeuppance to fit. There is an instant attraction between Leonidas and Primrose, but they try to resist. Will Leonidas be able to leave her to travel? What is in Primrose’s future? An enjoyable story, wonderful characters, and a happy ending. Great Read! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
I was extremely fortunate to receive an ARC of Minuet at Midnight written by the amazing Collette Cameron. Primrose McKessick has led a very difficult life. She finally has the opportunity to escape her horrible father when her aunt invites her as a companion on a sea voyage. Her life takes another horrid turn when her nasty cousin comes to take her to his home instead of her boarding the ship to commence her voyage. Primrose' gut says that everything is not as it seems or should be. Leonidas Westbrook, author of traveling books is about to take off on his next sea adventure. However he sees a lady (Prinrose) in distress and attempts to save her. One thing leads to another and he takes her to his brother's business. While there, the growing attraction between the two increases, yet neither is able to understand it as love. What a great story of recognizing love as it develops and understanding all that one is capable of giving up for the one we love.
Minuet at Midnight by Collette Cameron is book six in the Chronicles of the Westbrook Brides. It is definitely worth reading if love historical romances filled with strong heroes and even stronger heroines who love them. When Primrose McKessick flees Scotland and an unwanted marriage she never expects to be rescued by Lord Leonidas Westbrook when a family member tries to have her abducted and sold to a local brothel. Leonidas Westbrook was all set to sail to Greece when his plans are suddenly changed when he finds himself rescuing a young woman from a dire situation that leaves her vulnerable and in need of his protection. While trying to do his best to see her protected his offer to help leaves him questioning everything he has believed about love and duty. I really enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more by this author in the future.
I was given an ARC from the author/publisher. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.
I will probably read all the Westbrook Brides books that CC publishes. The first couple books were surprising since it seemed like CC's storytelling had developed into something more than it was before. The new books were more nuanced and I, for one, was excited. Unfortunately, I find that the author seems to have fallen back into her more didactic style in this installment, and I didn't enjoy this as much as I was hoping to.
All that said, I always appreciate a historical romance that features a hero who is not a rake or a man about town. While the hero in this story was a little stuck in the plans he's made for his own life, he was a very honourable and likable character. I also appreciate a heroine who's fast on her feet and isn't afraid of hard work. She was smart and used her brain to try and better her circumstances. Overall this was a simple and sweet read.
So I've read the latter two books in the series in the wrong order as I finished Fletchers book last night and Leonidas today. But still eminently readable. Just got to read the twins in the correct order.
Primrose has run away from home, or more accurately her step father's establishment, with her young brother and mother having died, her step father has sold her to a local Baron, because he's greedy and never really wanted her anyway. When she arrived in London to meet her aunt, she is met by her weasely cousin and some unsettling companions. Fortunately a striking looking young man steps forward to help her and on finding she's penniless takes her to his brothers club, where she can work for her keep. Leonidas was due to sail for Greece, but couldn't not help a young lady in trouble. Although a confirmed bachelor he's drawn to Primrose.
I love the Westbrook family and this story does not disappoint! Leonidias is a confirmed bachelor until he meets Primrose and gets caught up in intrigue with her. I loved how Primrose was determined to take control of her life and listened to her internal warning system! Though the villain(s) were dealt their due with a not so climactic scene, the ending was truly swoon worthy and heart wrenching. Unapologetically, tears may have been shed, giggles spouted and sighs aplenty!(from the reader!) Fletcher is a hoot, as always and the epilogue -perfect! Seeing Leonidias’s change was touching as well. Well worth the time to read!
I received this ARC copy for free and these are my own opinions.
Poor Primrose McKessick! Stranded at London Docks, she seriously needs a hero. Enter Leonidas Westbrook arriving to take his leave of London weather for a voyage to the Mediterranean. What he finds is an attempt to kidnap Primrose by her horrid cousin who had lured her to the docks by forging a letter from her deceased aunt - something she did not know of. Leonidas finds himself rescuing Primrose, not just from her cousin but an unwanted marriage betrothal. And the plot continues … I loved this tale which totally lived up to my expectations. Thanks again for another superb read, Collette! Roll on the next in the Chronicles of the Westbrook Brides.
I could not put this one down. I loved Primrose. She wanted to be safe, choose her own husband, and had the strength and determination to head out on her own. She easily followed her instinct when she had to choose between safety and family. Leonidas came to Primrose's aid and willingly gave up his plans to protect her. As he got to know her, he fought to stay with his plans for traveling and bachelorhood but fell anyway. When good luck came to Primrose, I had tears along with her as her heart was also breaking. Then Leonidas came to his senses. Definitely worth the read.
I received an ARC, and this is my unsolicited review.
I found this story to be very entertaining. The characters were just delightful! Primrose McKessick hadn’t had an easy life with her stepfather and she shows how brave and resourceful she can be. Lord Leonidas Westbrook loves travelling and writes travel books. He is a confirmed bachelor and enjoys his life as it is. When they meet they both feel a connection but this feeling grows the more they are in each other’s company. However, Leonidas still wants to travel to Greece and has no intention of marrying. There is still a danger to Primrose that must be stopped but how? There are some very interesting secondary characters in Leonidas’s brothers and I would love to read their stories. I received copy and have voluntarily reviewed it. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
