This book was so incredibly cute from start to finish. I really can’t even express how much I loved it. I’d say for like at least half of the book I was sitting there reading it with a huge smile on my face! This is set in a world with Santa Claus, elves, omegas and shifters so obviously it’s not realistic but I felt that the way these two came together, how it slowly happened made so much sense for them and I was totally on board with it!

I loved Derek to pieces and his little furry friend. I love raccoons and getting to see shifter cuddles and the cutest nickname ever I was in love!! I loved being there while he found love with Wink and figured out where he came from!

Wink was great and seeing him finally fit in and help in the ways that were important to him and kept him true to himself was awesome! It was a neat concept his story and how he came to be in Derek’s life!

Overall if you enjoy short Christmas, shifter, mpreg romances then I highly recommend this story! Can’t wait to read more from this author in the future!

Derek thinks he is human but he is in fact a shifter, something Wink sorts out when he figures that Derek is always tired because he is a raccoon shifter.
As Derek was adopted, he has no idea he is a shifter or how to behave and eventually the two of them find Dereks paternal grandmother.

Naughty Elf: Wink is part of multi author Santa's Naughty Elf Mates series. Each book can be read as a standalone but why not enjoy the rest of the series. This is the story of Wink an alpha elf and Derek who thinks he human but is really an omega raccoon shifter. This was a sweet story that had me smiling all through it. I loved the characters and how they came together. This is just a cute book for a nice holiday read. I would definitely recommend this book.

Naughty Elf at Christmas . . .

Alpha elf Wink has gotten himself in some trouble with Santa. Fired from the North Pole on Christmas Eve for his inappropriate pranks that caused a riot in the workshop, he has been turned forever into a ceramic decoration for some human’s enjoyment unless he finds his fated mate before next Christmas. And time is definitely short! He really did want Santa to be proud of him. But as Santa said, Wink was not much of a team player.

Omega Derek was baking the first batch of cookies to give to his neighbors for Christmas tomorrow, eager for a sample as his cat rubbed his leg asking for his own treats. This tray held a batch of elves, which he placed on the cooling rack. They were his favorite. He only wished he had someone in his life to share them with. Even his parents were off on a cruise and he would be by himself this Christmas. But his cat Chewy enjoyed being with him. And he was convinced real love with someone else would happen when it was meant to. Fate seemed to know what it was doing. And just before he went to bed, a tingling sensation made goosebumps race across his skin. Why was Chewy staring at his Christmas tree?

By the time Santa arrived -- not the same one Wink had worked for -- a playful raccoon and the cat had already eaten the snack Derek left on the table for Santa. Santa chatted comfortably with the raccoon and asked for hot chocolate next year. The next morning, Wink saw Derek walk in, totally exhausted, none of the excitement of waking on Christmas day. He perked up when he saw the milk and cookies had been enjoyed. Then he found a gift under the tree from Santa, and was amazed at the beautiful snow globe with a tiny waving elf inside… and even Wink was startled realizing he was the one who had made this snow globe! Derek’s best friend Leander arrived with a gift and was worried about Derek’s tired appearance. Then Chewy started batting an ornament on the tree. Derek walked over and took the elf off the tree, holding Wink in his hand… and Wink knew he had just met his mate! Will Christmas magic somehow get them together? Or is being an ornament his forever punishment for his not fitting in with the other elves?

This came highly recommended by a friend who kept going on about how cute it was, and I started it and confirmed it is indeed very cute. This actually pulled a really good comeback, considering I nearly DNFed halfway through, as the book hit several of my pet peeves. The first kiss happened off page, which is criminal, and they jumped from a comfortable relationship with affection and little kisses to full-on hot and heavy sexy times with no warning. That seemed really out of character and like I'd missed a crucial stage in the relationship development. To add insult to injury, the writing seemed to lose quality unexpectedly, and I came to the horrible realisation that the author thinks it is acceptable to use exclamation marks outside of dialogue, a thankfully rare but very serious crime that makes it look like the book was written by an eight year old.

However, despite these very valid complaints, I did not DNF and the book actually clawed back some stars. I loved how cute the MCs were, and the whole story with him trying to find out his background. It's very sweet but still has a tiny bit of substance, which is great for a festive read. Despite the amount of time covered and the short length of the book, it didn't feel rushed, which is a neat trick. It was also funny, and I laughed out loud a few times. Good short read for the holidays.

Wink had many different jobs because he could only work with others then he would act differently not a team player so Santa fired him and became an ornament on Derek’s little scrawny tree. Derek was always tired and the doctors couldn’t figure it out why, Wink figured it out when he saw at night the raccoon come out of the bedroom and stay up all night eating and playing with his cat Chewy then go into the bedroom until it time for him to go to work. Derek never remembered that happening because him and his raccoon side weren’t in sync. Derek was having dreams that his ornament coming to life asked Wink to stay with him, they found other shifters the one told them where he had seen raccoon shifters. So they looked and found his grandmother she thought in the wreck that all 3 had died because she didn’t find Derek they helped grandmother and Wink found a great job, Derek and his raccoon side worked together.

This book is part of the multi-author Santa's Naughty Elf Mates series. Each book is a standalone read. This is the story of Wink and Derek. Wink is an alpha elf who has been fired from the north pole. He just didn't fit in well there. He isn't exactly one to follow all the rules to the letter. He is transformed into a Christmas tree elf ornament. Luckily for him, it is in Derek's home. Derek is an adopted omega baker who lives with Chewy his cat. He is lonely and wishes for someone to share his life with. Exhausted all the time, Derek has no idea what is wrong with him. Good thing that Wink has figured it out. Freed from his ornament form, his quest is to help Derek and make him happy. This is their story. The book is cute beyond words but is also has a zip of spice to keep it lively. I really enjoyed this story. The book is very well written and easy to read.

I really enjoyed this book! Derek is absolutely charming, and Wink stands out as the first elf in the series to truly embody a mischievous streak.

The story felt fresh and unique, especially with how Wink subtly anchors himself in Derek’s mind to keep things from becoming overwhelming. If you're a fan of fated mates and insta-love, this is definitely a read you'll enjoy.

Both main characters are engaging and well-rounded, and the supporting cast is just as compelling. Wink’s antics are a key part of the plot, adding a fun and dynamic element that I really appreciated.

This book delivers a delightful mix of family (both blood-related and chosen), love, a sprinkle of naughtiness, sweetness (baked goods included!), and an overall playful vibe.

Highly recommend checking it out!.

AHH what a perfect Christmas read, I love stories that involve and Elf and there are none more deserving of a happily ever after than Wink.

An Elf who has been fired from all Santa's department's because he can do the job but he's just a bit too naughty for the North Pole.

One Christmas Wink finds himself banished from the North Pole and hanging on an omegas Christmas tree as an ornament. Wink realises that Derek needs his help to understand why he's always so tired, can he find a way to support his omega mate without scaring him off?

A beautiful Christmas read about understanding yourself, helping others and finding the place you're meant to be.

This is another very entertaining book in the Naughty Elf holiday series, this time featuring alpha elf Wink and omega (unknown shifter) Derek, finding their forever after via a banished elf ornament on Derek’s spindly Christmas tree. Derek isn’t aware of Wink’s elf persona as quickly as the other books in the series I’ve read, but it evolves naturally and in its own time, with Wink helping Derek discover a hidden part of himself, find family, and create his own. A sweet, sometimes emotionally grabbing, tale with the perfect ending. Another good holiday read for an entertaining evening by the fireplace, especially with a lapful of cat.

I loved this book. I was excited to be back in this multi-author world (it is so much fun and a unique overall concept). I loved both Derek and Wink. Wink was a grouch and not a team player and it finally caught up with him when he was fired and turned into an ornament on someone's Christmas tree. Derek was sweet, and loves baking, but lonely and sad. More than that, he was always very tired no matter how much sleep he got. His condition got me curious immediately. I loved the source of it- and that Derek didn't know even if his cat did. I loved how we (readers) learn about it. This was a really fun and interesting plot point. And for all of Wink's initial grumpiness, he was really sweet when it came to Derek. I was hooked to this story. I couldn't get enough of these two! 5 stars.

I love this series and this book! Wink is the next naughty elf to be banished from the North Pole by Santa. He will find himself with Derek, who is a shifter but doesn’t know it. It will take some time before Wink shows himself to Derek during the day but once he does, things move forward very quickly! I love how Wink helps Derek find the truth about who he really is and what happened to his family. They end up finding their happily ever after and I love the gift they get from Santa on their first Christmas as a family!.

I loved Naughty Elf: Wink: M/M Mpreg Christmas Romance. Wink had been booted from the North Pole by Santa, he wasn’t even sure why. Now he’s an ornament with Derek and learning all kinds of things about his mate. He needs to help his mate learn things about himself without giving up who he is, he doesn’t think his mate is ready for that. One night changes everything and Derek is ready for his mate and to learn the truth about his life. I loved the storyline and the characters. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

This is fun! The day before Christmas, Alpha elf, Wink is fired. He has a history of not really fitting in, so he's almost looking forward to what he considers retirement. He is turned into a Christmas tree ornament and sent to hang on the tree at omega Derek's house. Derek, is always tired and specialists can't figure out what's wrong. He has a secret that he is unaware of and Wink observes. Wink and Derek spend time getting to know each other and solving secrets. This is a story, with a different slant, but it is still fun. Soms kan naughty goed uitpakken wanneer je het op de goede plek doet en mensen de kansen zien.

Ik vond het wel gemeen hoe de kerstman Wink zo in onzekerheid liet zitten door alleen de opdracht te krijgen dat hij zich moest verbeteren en niet met wanneer het goed was. Arme Wink.
Tevens arme Derek die niet wist waarom hij altijd toch zo moe was en geen honger was, de reden? In de nacht is hij een wasbeer? Hoe schattig? Wink helpt hem zijn beide kanten met elkaar in aanraking te laten komen.

Ook schattig vond ik de kerstboom die Derek had uitgekozen, een zielige, omdat hij anders over zou blijven en geen kerstboom zou worden.

Everyone love a good seasonal story and this one doesn't disappoint.
Wink is an alpha elf working for the Santa's in the north pole. He's a bit of sh** disturber, never able to keep a job at the pole, but good at everything, he just needs a new scene.
Santa punishes him and fires him all at once. He's sent away in figurine form and finds his mate!
Derek is a baker who can't seem to stay awake! He doesn't understand why. When this mysterious figurine appears and makes him understand everything he's feeling.
It's such a cute short story.

I liked this book. Derek is adorable and Wink is the first elf in this series that can be considered as truly naughty.
The story was original and I loved how Wink burrows his existence in Derek mind in order to not freak him out. If you like fated mates and instalove you`ll love it.
Both MCs are interesting and are well developed, same with many of the secondary ones; Wink mischief is essential to the story and I think that`s great.
You can expect family, blood and found, love, some naughtiness, sweetness (baked or not) and a playful tone in this book.
I recommend it.

OMG...this series is just the cutest. This addition to it was a delight to read. Naughty elf Wink was banished like all the naughty elves to find his mated. To say it was delight and surprise to find out Derek unknown secret is an understatement. So many awwwww...that's so cute moments made me smile throughout. To find that Wink was enchanted and took care of Derek was just priceless. Their journey to love and family was wonderful. I highly recommend this series and definitely this romance...smiles galore.

Loved!!

Oh my goodness, I absolutely love Wink and Derek! Wink is a hard working elf but has a bit of a naughty streak. Unfortunately his last stunt went too far and he was fired. Santa sent him out to the real world to find his purpose. Derek is a sweet omega who loves to bake. He keeps waking up super tired and can't figure out why. There is so much to love about this story. I loved that Derek had a secret shifter side he didn't know about. I thought the way he found out was unique, I had never seen that happen before. I also loved Wink's new job, so fun!

It has been a while since I read a Trisha Linde novella/ novel and I can see way I read many a book by this author.
Wink and Derek are a well written novella length mm mpreg shifter/ elf romance. I do like thia multi author 'Naughty Elf' series and this one in particular. I found the pacing, flow and development well done. Derek finding his roots ,embracing his trueself or should I say selves, made it even sweeter.
Ofcourse we end with a cute baby and another Christmas day to see if Wink can truely say he can stay.

Trisha Linde’s volume in this Naughty Elf Mates series is very very cute. Wink is the bad elf who is made into a Christmas ornament and sent to Derek. There aren’t many wild tangents to this story and it’s an okay story except for a couple of points. Mostly it’s just very sweet and I must admit that I was smiling almost the whole time I was reading it. Enjoy it for the simple bonbon it is. Especially good at this time of year.

Wink can't seem to stop pranking other elves and making toys not according to the way he's told. Santa fires him telling him he needs to find what makes him happy. He changes him into a elf ornament and tells him he has until next Christmas to find who he needs. Derek doesn't know why he's always tired and not hungry. Wink ends up as an ornament on his tree and ends up find whats wrong with Derek. Wink also finds out Derek is his mate. I really enjoyed this book.
