Fun,accurate but tongue in cheek presentation in tome form. An overall reference picture of Victorian times if you need a fast study and have a Saturday afternoon. Paints a rather nice picture of Victoria who in reality removed herself from unpleasanty, and the book paints England as more noble than viciously exploitive in those times.

This is such a great way to learn. The book has pages in various different formats teaching about the life of Queen Victoria and the Victorian era. Excerpts from etiquette manuals, pictures of beauty implements, family photos: I never got bored learning about history. My only complaint is that I wish it had been slightly more biographical in nature.
