Ok so I can tolerate a lot of things in literature and this is something for me since I'm a recovering catholic but even I don't want to see girls or nuns raped, and graphic rapes at that. I read the whole book I kept waiting for a point or some word/words of rationalization so I wouldn't feel disgust at the aliens but those words never came and what should be every woman's nightmare was realized. Then to top it off those men who were supposedly "In Love" brutalized the child in "I lost control" sex play.....REALLY!!!
Look I know it takes all types to fill up the freeway.... but for me there were page upon page of WTF and I read on because I kept waiting for the author to redeem someone.... make some point... do something to make this right and it didn't come. So I have to be done with this series.... I can't spend any more of my hard earned money on a nightmare. Look ladies the writing is fine, the story (minus the horror) was interesting and the three to one BDSM... well whatever floats your boat. Just be warned that there are harsh things in this and we don't even know what happened to the little girls... needless to say the nuns. Yeah I know there are books on one of them later but I can't put this kind of stuff in my system to find out about her.

This entry into the series was just too dark for me.
The heroine's head was really messed up by the brainwashing of her culture and I just didn't feel that the heroes gave her the care they needed to work through her issues.]
I felt even worse for the other women.
The world is a pretty awful one.

Um, the heroine, Cassidy is "platinum blonde" not honey blonde! Any woman would know the difference so the cover artist must be man
Cassidy is sent to a convent on Europa by her grandfather because of her licentious mother. Lidon, Degorsk and Tranis are part of the group that is following an Earth ship and see her running to warn everybody when they land on the moon. She's who they want for their clan, they just have to find her because she escaped in the vents.
The problem with this book to me is we're back to the sexual torture for the women's own good. No sleep, constant sex, with BDSM. At least with book #2, the woman was open to it. Here Cassidy is fighting it for about 3/4 of the book and I don't think she ever truly accepted that what they did was good. She's open to her new life at the end but still not happy with the way these guys carried it out.
I'm giving this book 3 stars. Even with my disappointment, I'm planning on reading the next book in the series.

Let's see if I have this straight. MAJOR SPOILERS. The aliens kidnap, brainwash, rape and drug our heroine and gleefully watch their compatriots do the same to a room full of other earth women under the guise of "re-education".
Fast forward to our heroine having withstood as much torture as she can, fallen into stockholm syndrome land under the guise of never being able to go home, and finding out the aliens are preparing final steps to conquer earth and install a government "more conducive to their own thinking".
But, hey, all is okay because our heroine wants them to understand that while she may have problems at times with this it is no game changer for her.
Ah, lust surely can conquer all.

Well war is on, who will win, with earth they are ready to kill every body instead of giving in to any other species. Sad case, but lots of excitement. war in this series and even though one species wins they loose so much at the same time.

This isn't your run-of-the-mill erotica since the plot story line and characters are fully developed. There is enough back story so you feel you really know the subjects, unlike most erotica books out there. I appreciated that.
Also, the author did a great job of showing how a religious fanatical and corrupt society affects people.

I loved this book & Author. The whole series is great and I have read and re-read it several times.

The less I say about this one the better since it really pissed me off so much and after reading it it’s a surprise I stuck with the series. The saving grace for this series was book two, I liked that a lot but the first and third not so much. The clans weren’t horrible, in fact I liked them to a degree but then they go and start doing this mind torture and drug rape thing but it’s okay because….umm oh right it’s okay because it’s with their ‘wife’ and they are trying to help save them from their previously disillusioned lies the government told them. Uh what? So instead of talking to them like human beings they drug them rape them and torture them so they will fall in love. You do realize that’s just as bad if not much much worse as anything the previous government was doing right? Any feelings the woman or matara has for their clan is based on lies deceit and isn’t genuine.
Believe it or not that’s not the worst part of this book; it’s the females, especially Cassidy. Depending on your math she’s either 17 or 19 but she acts 15 and her clan are mature males. They seem all obsessed with their cute little perky blonde and one moment she likes them and the next she’s spouting how it’s a sin, what an annoying twit. This girl (I saw girl because she’s a girl) who secretly read the karma sutra and then acts like all sex is a sin and wants to quote the Bible and other holy books, mmmmk, inconsistent much? The book also goes on how smart she is but I never saw it, I seriously doubt she’s got an IQ anywhere over 100.
The plot is okay but had some real flaws. If they were really as good warriors as they claim they’d look into what Armageddon means instead of scratching their heads and doing mind torture on the general to get no information. And as for Earth, the author really hates religion to the extremes and seriously thinks everyone religious is either been disillusioned or extremely crazy.
I know they said this clanning thing was for life but I think after a few months they are going to realize they made a huge mistake picking Cassidy. I just don’t see this relationship with her and any and all of her clan working out. If she’s really been that stifled the past 19 years and is now experiencing freedom to express herself she’s going to really go all crazy party girl co-ed on them and they are going to sit around wondering what to do about it. She lacks maturity and is very naive and they are way too serious and past that party stage. Sure the doctor has more of a gutter sense of humor but they aren’t a good match.
Despite my bickering I do like this series just not book one and three. It’s an interesting universe to read into.

You can look at this in two major different ways; forced "reeducation" on women with bondage, disipline, forced orgasms and basically brainwashing....or you can veiw it as a sexy erotic story where sex is constant throught all while human females are convinced, and that term is used loosely, by kaljour clan males to join their clan of 3 men to 1 female.
If you have read the previous two stories then you are aware of the war between the Earthers and "Aliens" Kaljours has declared. A spy ship finds a settlement full on nuns on Jupiter. ..and if you read my previous pharagrah it pretty much sums it up.
Cassie 19 yr old virgin is sequestered in the convent. Sent there by her Grandfather three years ago. You get a little mystery with her mother and her memories throughout the story. You also get to follow Cassie in her transition from nun to Matara.
While the rest of the nuns get Mass reeducation or rather sexual coersion of the nuns from ephoric bites and treat system to trains them as future maharas.
She (Cassie) gets her own re-education with the added bonus or torture of sleep depravation ann forced multiple orgasms.
Oh and if I didn't mention it the Alien clan come equip with double penises, nearing extinction, and 'mate' in clans for life, and have been known to carry on sexual realations with each other since females are in short supply.

I was disappointed in
because of and hoped that since I had read the prequel
which was Lidon, Degorsk and Tranis coming together in their clan, that I would like this one better and maybe there would be some mm / mmf action. Alas, this was not the case.
Our heroes happen on a convent and capture our heroine, Cassidy, and do their utmost to make her understand that she's their Matara using any means. Eh, disappointed there was no mm action, they did talk about it but no scenes. I'm finding it hard to read mfm - much rather read menages where all parties play with each other. I think this is it for me with this series.

Another great entry into the Kalquor series. I really like Tracy St. John's books and her aliens, and even for more than the fact that they are 2x as endowed as your average man.
When I first read this series, I was surprised to see that it was written years ago, as it seems like it could be written today and the Earth's political and religious situation would seem like a natural output of things that are happening now.
I feel sorry for Cassidy, being locked into a convent because of her ultra-religious, ultra-conservative, and ultra-hypocritical grandfather. At least she figured out ways of getting around being locked into its stultifying atmosphere.
I generally like the Kalquorians, but I didn't like the standards they set forth on how to deal with Earther women who were repressed. I know that they are trying to help women, but nuns would be a totally different situation, and the guidelines set forth wouldn't work in the same way, I would think. Luckily, the Imdiko realized that and started doing other things.

How are you supposed to like a book when main characters are rapists and disgusting beings? No matter how you spin the tale,having sex without consent is rape not therapy.Hitting for calling MCs out on it is not spanking,its abuse.Depriving of sleep and constant rape is not re-education,its torture. Being helpless under drugs and not being able to say no is not easing into things,its sick,its wrong,its terrible.And claiming natural lubrication during rape a proof of wanting to be raped,are lies.There is nothing enticing or arousing about this story.It is just very badly written rubbish of a sick mind.I am half convinced,author believes in rape being good for women and sees it as honour-please,dear author,go see a doctor or kill yourself before your writing have resulted in a similar situations in real life.Scum like you should be killed of.

Interesting sci-fi plot, with Earthers as the evil enemy, was definitely interesting enough to keep me reading to the end. Loved the alien protagonists. Found the human females... silly.
Waay too much smex interrupting a perfectly good plot, IMO. However, the menage dynamic was very nice.
After reading this I had to read "To Clan and Conquer", which is about the three alien males in this book, and how they got together. Strictly MM.

I have read this entire series. This is by far one of the two I liked the least. The world building was fascinating. Certain parts of the anatomy of the male aliens are...well a bit much. The word unnecessary leaps to mind. I have to admit that all the forced and coerced sex was a bit of turn off. It was difficult to enjoy the book. This is one book that I liked the clan beginnings book more than the conquest book.

This one was just a bit harder to swallow. The Earther women are re-educated by pretty much forcing them into sexual situations and by using rape.
The bible quoting was heavy in this book and just rubbed me the wrong way but I knew why it had to be that heavy.
I didn't like any of the characters or the flow of the plot or the outcome.

If your looking for what I was looking for (not plot) then this was an ok read. The heroine was brainwashed by her religious upbringing and it grew tiring to read
We have 3 hero’s and they were all disconnected from one another - the sex was frequent but it felt a bit boring
I would consider this forced seduction primarily
The issue with that here is that the hero’s have a magic love bite that immediately turns out heroine into a willing participant- felt too easy. Also our hero’s have unique anatomy and our virgin heroine barely bats and there is 0 build up to their first encounter(s)
It started okay but at 60% I felt like I was re-reading portions and love scenes. Also around 60% is where our heroine magically confesses her love .... so there’s that

Another good one.
Wow, earth is at war, and how the religious zelots prepare for it is unbelievable. The clan is awesome in this book as well. For myself I find each book keeps getting better.
The story between earth and kalquor is great, can't wait to see how this war goes. Love it.

Good book!
Could you imagine the brainwashing women went through in this storyline. You have such a strong belief and loathing that you are not worthy of love or human kindness. Good characters and storyline!!

Kalquor is in the throes of war with Earth. Captain Tranis and his spy ship are closely watching an Earth transport when the transport takes an unexpected turn. They follow and see a compound they knew nothing about. Since Earth has kept it hidden until now, they are curious what secrets it holds. They prepare for an invasion.
Cassidy's life is awful. Sent to Europa to live in a convent because of her mother's past transgressions. She's visited by her grandfather(who comes on the Earth transport) and tells her he wants her to marry his elderly friend and give him heirs. She thought her life was awful before, but it's now looking downright like hell! When the Kalquorians invade and she darts off to warn the other nuns to hide, Captain Tranis and his clanmates, Lidon and Degorsk, take notice of her. Cassidy hides in the convent's ventilation system. It allows her to spy on the other nuns and now the Kalquorians, without being seen. Or so she thinks.
Cassidy doesn't know much about the Kalquorians, but she is highly attracted to them. While spying, she learns they intend to pleasure the nuns and bring out their true selves. Earth has been under religious rule that women are temptresses and all sexual pleasure is deemed wrong. Even if a woman is raped, she is mutilated and sent to prison for tempting the man to rape her. The brainwashing is extensive and the nuns are so confused, scared about their feelings, and wrought with fear for their lives at the sexual enjoyment they receive. Kalquorians hold women very dear. Tranis and his mates are intrigued with Cassidy so they set a trap to catch her.
I have really been enjoying the World of Kalquor Tracy St. James has crafted. Kalquor was devastated by a virus that killed a lot of their race. Earth is a mixed up place and I truly felt sorry for these women for the jumbled feelings they had. Once Cassidy is caught, Tranis, Lidon, and Degorsk do everything in their power to make her feel special. They put her up on a pedestal and Cassidy doesn't know how to react to all the special endearments they give her. They give her what she's been craving, but never could voice. Her head tells her what she is feeling is wrong, but she feels so good with them. She had a lot of things to work through her head-dating back to things she was told about her mother. Degorsk believed she held repressed memories and he helped her a lot to recognize and to come to terms with them.
This was a bit of an unusual book. It fits well within the series and I wholeheartedly recommend reading it. I don't feel it can be read as a standalone since you need to understand this world and its events prior to this book. It's been republished after being expanded and I feel it's a well-rounded story. So dive into the World of Kalquor! You won't be sorry!

Cassidy's life is awful. Sent to Europa to live in a convent because of her mother's past transgressions. She's visited by her grandfather(who comes on the Earth transport) and tells her he wants her to marry his elderly friend and give him heirs. She thought her life was awful before, but it's now looking downright like hell! When the Kalquorians invade and she darts off to warn the other nuns to hide, Captain Tranis and his clanmates, Lidon and Degorsk, take notice of her. Cassidy hides in the convent's ventilation system. It allows her to spy on the other nuns and now the Kalquorians, without being seen. Or so she thinks.
Cassidy doesn't know much about the Kalquorians, but she is highly attracted to them. While spying, she learns they intend to pleasure the nuns and bring out their true selves. Earth has been under religious rule that women are temptresses and all sexual pleasure is deemed wrong. Even if a woman is raped, she is mutilated and sent to prison for tempting the man to rape her. The brainwashing is extensive and the nuns are so confused, scared about their feelings, and wrought with fear for their lives at the sexual enjoyment they receive. Kalquorians hold women very dear. Tranis and his mates are intrigued with Cassidy so they set a trap to catch her.

Alien Conquest is the third book in the World of Kalquor series, and by now, if you've read books one and two, you realise that nothing is as straightforward as you might think. Dubcon is a thing in these books, so if that makes you uncomfortable, then please don't read them!
The Kalquorian females have been decimated with a virus that either killed them outright or made them infertile. They need to figure out a way to survive. Earth females are a match made in heaven... except they have been repressed and subjugated, seeing their own bodies as devil flesh, and the act of love as sin. Between the Kalquorians wanting to revere them, and their own state of mind (which sometimes does involve being brainwashed), then you can understand the dubcon. They have procedures that psychiatrists/psychologists have come up with, so they follow them.
HOWEVER, if you read the story, you will see that Degorsk follows protocol but quickly starts to question whether this is the right way to go. He makes adjustments to what he has been told and sees better results. He makes those adjustments to their Matara and also sees a change. Nothing is as black and white as you presume, but once again, if dubcon isn't your thing, then please don't read it!
Personally, I thoroughly enjoy these books. They are well written, with a smooth plot, steady pacing, and no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt the reading flow. They make no apologies for who they are, and give a thoroughly detailed and intricate view of the life of Kalquorians, with their distinct castes/personalities.
Definitely recommended by me!

I liked this one. I don't like how in the beginning the clan forces sex on the females before talking to them. In every book they have done this in some way it annoys me. They are barely learning anything about the past of the girls and expect them to change their minds through sex alone. I was glad, as the book went on, that the Imdiko finally realized that some form of mental change is needed as well. For the women to come to terms with their past before beginning their future. I liked that he is willing to help her in that way.The ass was great comic relief in this, when they finally gave it back had me laughing historically. I liked that she wasn't captured right away, it took about 30% into the book before she made contact with them. The voyeuristic tendencies in this book was a great change as well. It gets boring when you have romance series like this and all the sex versions are the same. Some have more bondage, some more punishment, and this one was more voyeur based in the beginning. I wouldn't say this is an outright favorite of mine in this series. I haven't found one yet that I'm like "I love this in every way", but I think it is a good series overall. Normally I don't care for more than just a standard one on one relationship. I'm not a fan of menage books, but I have noticed that I don't mind it as much when the most common gender (i.e. this one is 3 males and 1 female) is more family like (i.e. the three males have a family bond) than strangers/buddies who happen to have the same mate. I don't find it as awkward to read and I think the author has done a great job (in every book) to make sure that the reader realizes that.

I would honestly have liked this book more, if less forced submission scenes took place and if they were a bit less intense. The whole thing was a little too much for me.
Nevertheless, this is a very important book in the series. I loved the last part were "historical" events took place. I had read the books in order and I did not expect the turn of the events.
Clan Travis was also an extra plus. All three men were funny, extra yummy and had a great chemistry. They appear in two more books later in the series which you need to read in order to understand better the way they behave in this book.
Anyway, if you are a fun of this Kalquorian series this is a must read book. You just need to be openminded.

September 4, 2012The author has created a disturbing future of Earth were all nations are joined into one and the top 3 religions are combined into one, while the rest are destroyed. The world has reverted back to a male dominated society, where women are severely punished for having unwed carnal relations. Even if a woman is raped, she is blamed. The romance is sweet, even with them constantly having sex. But I guess that is to be expected when you have one woman to three males. I enjoyed watching them help her through her messed up beliefs/brainwashing and deal with the extreme trauma she had buried.
