Carrie Drummond is excited to spend a fun, relaxing weekend at a mountain cabin with her friends--a last hurrah before they all graduate college in a few months. But when the power goes out and the only other person to make it through the snowstorm is the one man in the world she hates, she thinks the weekend is ruined.
But her so-called enemy has other plans.
Bryan Grant always ends up with his foot in his mouth around Carrie, and he's determined not to let their night alone go to waste. But will the uptight, lawyer-in-training be able to convince the paint-stained artist to give him a shot?
Snowed In is a contemporary erotic romance novelette. It is not intended for younger readers due to mature content.
Andie writes sexy erotic romance and erotica stories that push boundaries. When she’s not writing (or reading!), she can usually be found daydreaming or attempting a new recipe. She thinks that life should require happily ever afters. And since she doesn’t make the rules of life, she instead applies this philosophy to the worlds she can control–the ones in her books.
I fell hard and fast for cocky Bryan. His filthy-mouthed seduction, sensual prowess, and tender-hearted confessions had me swooning and greedy for more!
Brief, yes, but so freaking good! Novelette perfection!

Very short, WAY smoking hot! This is boy likes girl so he's a jerk to her situation, until they are locked in a cabin with no electricity. Then the feelings become known. I almost wish this was a full length book, because I'd love to see where their relationship could go.
Know that saying about opposites attract? Carrie and Bryan's story is a prime example. She's a free-spirited artist, easy-going, content in paint-spattered jeans. He's a cocky, arrogant player and soon-to-be hotshot lawyer. When their friends set them up together in a cabin, luck smiles upon them by providing the perfect setting: a snowstorm.
When the power goes out, these two realize the night has just gotten longer. They need to get along. And so they do. During their conversation Bryan reveals just how attracted to Carrie he is, though the way he says it may not be a turn-on to many females (like I said, this dude is cocky). Carrie soon finds herself not minding his ways. Bryan's arrogance took some getting used to but when the 'hidden side' of Bryan was shown I found myself liking him too. Maybe opposites do attract.
Snowed In is a short, hot story. Carrie was so cute and I liked how she battled with herself, especially after hearing Bryan admit he fantasized about her. On one hand, the guy is overly confidant, but then he has a smoking hot bod. Their hook-up was full of smexy and heat and I wonder if these two are simply a one-night stand or if there's a future between them. (Book blast: http://www.readergirlsblog.com/2014/0...)
So what happens when frenemies with sexual tension between them are stuck in a cabin during a storm, have sex of course!!!
That’s the basis for Snowed In by Andie Devaux, a super short little story, 28 pages in all. Carrie is the third wheel in a matched up couple whom keep trying to set her up with their other BFF, Bryan. The two seem to always be the couple’s go to friends but the problem is, they hate each other. They always say yes, to be polite but both have no illusions about their mutual hatred. When they are asked to meet at a cabin, both say yes, of course but the glue in their foursome, the matchmaking couple has been kept away due to the storm. When Carrie and Bryan realize they’re stranded, with no electricity, they don’t waste any time in acting on their simmering heat for one another to stay warm. With no lights, the two pour out their feelings and decide to see where this spark will lead them.
This was a super quick read and would be great while waiting for an appointment or the kids. Totally a cellphone read, LOL. Nothing too surprising happens, just a typical CR but it was a flirty and romantic beginning to a possible relationship with staying power.
this is a very quick very sensual and fun read. Carrie and Bryan get on each other's nerves. they think that the other hate's them. How wrong they are. these two get snowed in at a friends cabin and the sparks fly from the tumble in the sheets and dirty talk that occurs. You will need to fan yourself from their time together. What is fun is that we find that Bryan really likes Carrie but for some reason when he gets around her he gets nervous and can't be himself so he says things to irritate her. Carrie realizes she likes him to and hopes that when the lights turn on the guy she got to know in the dark emerges.
A sweet book on how when we like someone we get tongue tied and that sometimes darkness can give us courage to overcome our fears. A sensual fun read that will put a smile on your face.
Those looking for a little afternoon delight will get just that with this sexy vignette featuring the theme of opposites attracting. Bryan is very regimented and appreciates order whereas Carrie is the artsy type with a carefree nature. Bryan and Carrie may have rubbed each other wrong in their dealings with one another in the past, but after this super steamy encounter they find an unexpected connection. Bryan learns to appreciate taking a walk on the wild side while Carrie learns he's not as uptight as she once thought. This is a quick read that may not be thought-provoking or earth shattering, but it is entertaining and does leave you with a smile on your face thinking about all the naughty possibilities in the future.
I loved it!!! This is not the first book I have read by Andie, and it absolutely won't be my last! This story was very erotic, yes, but she opened the story with a history between the characters and made it meaningful. In other words, this wasn't some random hook-up, and I loved that about this story! Andie has a real talent for conveying a lot of story in a not a lot of pages, and I absolutely love the quick-reads that she writes!
Steamy, hot and sensual novella that left me wanting to know more about Carrie and Bryan. I wish the book was longer but definitely an enjoyable quick read.
This was a great quick read. Although I would have liked just a little bit more at the end but what can you do? It was quick, full of angst, sexy and seriously hot.
