Let me get this straight, I really love Tokyo Revengers but the ending is just obviously rushed. I believe there are still a lot of unsolved plot points in the story. I don't like the way the final arc was handled at all, like the last two chapters alone can be expanded into a whole arc.
I don't hate the ending, I'm actually pleased about it. I just wish that I can say that it was earned. Tokyo Revengers just pulled a Deus Ex Machina ending on us, which is just a shame as I got high expectations on this series.

Sometimes I miss who I was before reading Tokyo Revengers. This series ripped out my heart, chewed it up, then placed it next to my kidneys. Heartbreaking, healing, and soul crushing.
This volume left me shocked and in tears.
Learning about the original timeline and what Shin did to protect Mikey. Why is the original timeline so goddam depressing. I often think about the fact that Shin became a nurse to take care of Mikey, Mikey never meets Draken, Mikey never creates Toman, Mikey dies. Like, give Mikey a break.
Shin is honestly the best goddam brother ever. Everything he does to protect Mikey and seeing him break down left a hole in my heart that will never be healed.
Now the ending. I am upset that some characters lost their development from the previous timeline. Seeing some of the characters grow into their own and their relationships was one of my favourite thing about Tokyo Revengers. However, EVERYONE GOT THEIR HAPPY ENDING AND I’M SO GLAD!
Mikey finally, FINALLY, is happy and healthy and a functioning adult. That is all I’ve ever wanted. Draken and Emma are alive, married, and expecting a child. I love them so much it hurts guys. Chifuyu, Baji, and Kazutora are all together and friends, like, I didn’t think that was possible anymore. Kisaki and Hanma are actually good people (never thought those words would be uttered by a single soul in the universe but here we are). Shin is alive, I repeat, HE IS ALIVE PEOPLE. I’m glad that Mikey has his whole family alive now, god knows that boy needs them. Takemichi and Hina got married, and Michi achieved his goal of saving EVERYONE. So proud of my boy and of all of the characters.
Tokyo Revengers will always have a special place in my heart <3

Review of the entire series.
It's been a little more than a month since the last chapter was published and I'm still not sure how to start this review...
First, I've always tried to stay as far away as I can from time-traveling stories. That's personal, I just h a t e the stressful sensation it causes me, I believe that time is to be respected, and everything happens for a reason, so playing with the past or the future is unthinkable on my part. Second, I don't like stories about gangs and mafia because they usually have some degree of violence against women that disturbs me—thankfully, there were not as explicit as in other books I've read, but still, it's something I've tried to avoid in the last years.
Then why, if the main plot was about the two things I can't bear, I still read it?
Because I didn't know what it was about when I started watching the anime, lol.Yes, I'm the sort of person who never reads synopsis so I don't have expectations. Still, there was something in the story that I found captivating, and well, I ended up following the latest chapters weekly for more than a year.
The overall story isn't the best created, but one thing that I appreciate a lot was how the characters felt so real, they woke a lot of empathy in me, and during the whole manga I felt so emotionally devastated. Gods, I think I've never cried so much while reading anything, and for that, this story will have a place in my heart—especially Keisuke Baji, who became one of my all-time favourite manga characters, I love him so much that he alone is a whole star on my rating.
However, as much as I was loving the story and how touched I felt by it, I have to agree with most that the execution of the last arc wasn't the best way to finish it.
From here there will be spoilers about the final.
Full of plot holes and Deus Ex Machina, I felt the whole arc wasn't planned at all. I think the most disappointing part for me was all this wholecrap thing about the past of Mikey & Baji with Haruchiyo, who had never, NEVER been a bit relevant until the end, which sudden inclusion led to the development of an incomplete arc, and I personally disliked him fiercely.
Yes, Takemichi achieved his goal of a happy ending for everyone, but it was so magically done that even for a fictional story with no real explanation about the time-traveling and other supernatural elements, was just too absurd. Speaking of, what was that of Chifuyu remembering everything from another timeline? Gods, I've seen some opinions from people that think it was so touching to read the chapter from his perspective, but as much as I love him, I can't help but think it was idiotic.
I still don't know if I like the ending... but at least I don't hate it. I had a huge, bitter disappointment at Shingeki no Kyojin that I don't think this was any worst... In the end, we were all after it, right? It's just how we got there that isn't convincing at all. Also, I had the silly expectation of an emotionally crushing final that would send me to therapy after all the tears I shed. But oh well... At least my beloved Baji is alive, and that's definitely the only thing that matters to me. That's another star.
It's more like 3.5 stars I suppose.

Pasó exactamente un mes desde que salió el último cap de tokyo revengers para que yo pudiera escribir una reseña o algo aquí que ya es el último volumen, de verdad que he estado de luto por su ausencia, significó mucho para mi por dos años, dejarlo ir fue difícil, hay muchas cosas que creo firmemente que pudieron ser mejores pero el final es uno que los personajes merecían porque siempre tuvieron solo 14 añitos, entonces el final si pudiera describirlo con una palabra sería feliz y estoy bien con eso.

The final arc of Tokyo Revengers wasn't necessarily bad, it just wasn't up to its usual standards.
The plot was rushed and filled with so many plot holes. Characters felt either pointless or out of character. The ending didn’t feel epic or satisfactory to me, just very meh.
I still love this series, it’s been such a journey reading it every week for such a long time and I’m really going to miss it. And I love it’s characters so so much (especially Inui and Kakucho <3 ). I’m glad it was a happy ending, but overall it was just a disappointing final arc and I wish it left the impact on me that all the other arcs did.

For as much as I loved the previous volume this... didn't go anything how I expected it and, well, it was a letdown; one that stings because, precisely, of how much I liked the previous volume.
Though it starts pretty exciting, situating things in place and smoothing over some earlier questions the second half was too much of a mess for me to remember this ending as nothing but, well, disappointing and bittersweet.
See, I don't precisely think it was all bad, there were great ideas thrown in there that I genuinely loved, but the execution was so rushed and messily done that I cannot fully enjoy those. A bit more time, a few more chapters; fleshing the ideas more, and giving them time to breathe, it would have made for a far more satisfying ending, one that would also have allowed me to dismiss the things I didn't like.
While there were elements I genuinely liked how the more supernatural aspects of the story were handled did not enter that category. In a way, it felt as if Wakui did not know how to proceed and solved some of the pits he had created for himself and just pull something that was half-baked and made a tiny bit of sense and went with it.
I want to believe that he actually did know how he wanted things to go but just didn't know how to translate that to the actual plot and panels and story. Just because it makes me feel better.
The overall place where we end, I liked; how we got there, I did not appreciate one bit.

Pessimo finale. Chiude la storia nel modo peggiore possibile, distruggendo la morare e il rapporto con i personaggi che si era venuto a creare, tutti i sacrifici, tutte le perdite. Pessimo messaggio. Personaggi introdotti a caso ed eventi incastrati a forza.
Nel complesso la storia è apprezzabile, nulla che rimanga nel cuore, ma sicuramente veloce e piacevole.
nella parte finale i disegni sono buttati lì senza pensarci troppo, meno male che non era un manga di samurai perchè le scene con la spada sono pure peggio di quelle del manga di Demon Slayer ahah.

Bueno, Tokyo Revengers no trataba de las cosas crueles de la vida no más, también trataba de un pendejo que estaba dispuesto a todo por salvar a los que le importaban. A todo. Like, creo que tiene sentido, pero a la vez es lkdskjds no sé. Lo peor es que si quiero escribir un fic cochis del final porque me da tantas oportunidades que OH MAI GOD. Final volume of Tokyo Revengers
I started watching this series when the third episode came out, and to be honest, I was enjoying it. But as the story goes forward, the author seems to be dragging things out too much. After some time, the same sh*t is happening again. The last couple of arcs are just crap. Weak character writing and an out-of-the-box plot connection made it even worse. Though I won't say it's the worst thing you can find, keep your explanation low. It is the perfect example of a MID series.

Hace años que no leo manga y después de acabarme las temporadas animadas de TR tenía ganas de continuar por donde lo dejé con el manga. En su día (2021) lo dejé por el cuarto tomo de la historia y volver a leerlo fue un viaje al pasado increíble.
Volver a leer el nombre de Mikey y de Toman se hizo raro pero una vez empecé a leerlo, no pude parar hasta acabarlo. Gracias al mangaca la historia tiene final feliz (no llega a tenerlo y lloro) y estoy demasiado feliz de haber terminado la historia.
Es un total 5/5 💘💘💘💘

So sad to be finished with this series I’ve really enjoyed the story.
As happy as I am with how this ended (everyone lives! Everyone has a happy ending!) it did seem very rushed and it was more of a “telling rather than showing” type story and I would have been ok with another volume or two that was working towards this end rather than the kind of rushed ending we got.
Nonetheless. Definitely one of my top favorite manga series

yikes… I’m so conflicted because I LOVE this story and I did enjoy the ending, but why did it have to be rushed!? Seeing everyone happy was so all I wanted to see, but the little cuts in panels just mentioning how things worked out with no explanation was so unsatisfying after investing so much in this story. Like you’re telling me taiju is just a part of toman? Kisaki is a completely different person? What happened to Mikey’s dark impulse? If shinichiro never time leaped how did takemichi get his powers? So many ideas could have been expanded upon and the payoff would have been so satisfying. I do like the setup of shin being a timeleaper and that whole storyline, but I think having takemichi and Mikey go back so far in time was a detriment to the story because you’d either have to repeat storylines or have the rushed ending like it is now. I’m so happy all the characters have their happy ending, but all character development was lost in the process. Ugh wish this could’ve been different but I’ll still always love Tokyo revengers. No other series has made me feel so much

Siamo giunti alla fine. Abbiamo un bel momento tragico e un bel lieto fine. La sconfitta del "mostro" e la storia che fila liscia. Rimango non ben convinto dei vari viaggi temporali. Per me, questa avventura, finisce qui. È stata una lettura veloce e leggera, ma non finirà nella mia lista di must. Adios.

Speechless, absolutely gagged. The way everything came together!? The lore is actually insane! The plot was laid out beautifully even though the end felt a little rushed. I’m glad that they are all alive and happy in the end.
