This gorgeous book gives the young reader a gentle rhyming story about works around the garden. The illustrations are divine, and this is sure to engage any young reader of the wonder of worms. This is the perfect springtime read, to read and learn about our wriggly garden friends, and then take a trip outside to try and spot some!

🪱 Who would have thought a worm could look so cute!?! This wonderful book celebrates the amazing work that worms do down below the ground. From breaking down food scraps, leaf litter and using their poo to improve soil — these worms do a number of helpful jobs!

Worms Are Our Friends is a fun picture book teaching children about the importance of worms! I love gardening so this was a fun story with beautiful illustrations. The perfect read for a little gardener in your life!

Normally I don't review children's books (maybe I should start?), but this book warrants a review!

My son (2) is learning about nature and how flowers grow right now, as it's Spring here where we live. This book is such a cute, colorful, and informative book about worms and the role they play in helping flowers grow and keeping the soil healthy. Sometimes, I find that books that cover these topics can be overwhelmingly scientific for kids who are younger, but this book did a wonderful job introducing complex concepts in an approachable way.

If you have a little one who likes worms/learning about nature, I highly recommend checking this one out! My son has been enamored with worms since we read it last week haha!
