I ate this book series up and was so excited for this one. First chapter had me scratching my head thinking I totally missed something from the last book. This book was too much sex and hardly anything else. It was rushed and the plot made no sense. This series could of kept going instead of rushing that terrible ending. Highly disappointed.
The entire book was everywhere. There were many unanswered questions. Throughout the entirety of the book I was wondering why the events had been set up this way. I loved Snow and Mack and I didn't understand why the prophecy would have separated them just for them to die as a result. It was the love that the original six all shared that bloomed their powers in the first place. It doesn't make sense for that love to also leave them defenseless. There were holes in the storyline. Why did Kole decline to eat Zephyra's heart? Why is Nova always captured so easily when she's supposed to be the strongest mage in existence? If the scepter exists, then how does the elixir not exist? If the elixir never existed in the first place then why did Lucien suggest it for Mack? Shouldn't Lucien have known it didn't exist? The book felt rushed. They discover that Miranda is a fake and then immediately Nova gets kidnapped, and saved within a few pages. What was the point of the demon spending so much time debilitating Mack when he could've taken Nova much sooner. We also never found out what happened to Kole's mom after giving them clues about the prophecy. Other than that, I greatly enjoyed the series. However, I think it should've stopped after the first set of books.
✨️Book Review✨️ Snow - Cara Clare (179📖) (5th August - 6th August) 4⭐️ 3🌶
Wow. Just WOW. Such an emotional roller coaster for the final book in The Phoenix Prophecy series. I have so many feelings. I loved it, I hated it, I wanted to throw my kindle, I wanted to hug my kindle. This was superb! The story was so gripping and I just wanted to keep reading and reading. I never wanted it to end. Only rated a 4⭐️ instead of 5⭐️ because I don't think I'm ever going to emotionally recover from events that transpired in Snow. Oh my heart💔. Was so great to see Lucien, Kim and Luna make their appearances too. Now for a reread of Luna to be all caught up.
I've said it once and I'll say it again, you NEED to read The Phoenix Prophecy (9 book series available on KU) immediately and to then follow on with Luna. You need these characters in your life. You're royally missing out. Why-choose, fated mated, romantasy - you can't go wrong. Just make sure you're ready for the ride of your life. Oh, and Cara is the Queen of Cliffhangers too so you know that each book is jam-packed. I will never stop recommending this series. Get on Amazon right now!!😘💜
This book is classified as Paranormal Romance, and is book nine of a connected series. It does have a trigger warning list: spicy references, graphic spicy content, references to DV, scars, injury from fire, death from fire, and fire-play, addiction, brief NONCON, breath play, DOM/SUB scenes, praise, daddy, age gap, blood play/biting, foster siblings, mention of suicide.
The book is written in first person. This book has multiple point of views: Nova, Luther, Lucien, Kim, Mack, Tanner, Rev, Kole, and Sam. Nova, Luther, Mack, Tanner, and Kole are from books one through eight, Lucien and Kim is from books seven and eight, and Sam is from books three through eight.
Rev is a witch and has an aunt who works with Lucien. Kim had lived after the collapse and killed his wife's killer. We learn a bit more about Luther's past, and learn that Lucien is obsessed with someone.
I will never be ready to say goodbye to these men & Nova. the bonus of these books & their ending were everything. I hope they make cameos in the future. did I cry? yes. did I laugh? yes. was it spicy? always yes. I think pieces were tied nicely, but I do wish I had a little more of Rev & Nico. especially Rev's backstory & Nico's future. What revenge is in place for Annalise. Maybe that vacation the men always wish they took Nova on in the future & what they plan to do with the town, AMA borders, & their futures. also a POV of how Sam felt better & connected again. & it was amazing to see the next main characters get introduced. I'm going to miss them because I know them so well. Snow may not have gotten more than a send off, but he has an entire book in his name 🤍

Spoilers ahead if u haven't read this book! So this is the last of Nova and her mates story, my reason for 4 stars is to much steam don't get me wrong I absolutely love me some good dark scenes I just wanted more of the story. It was a great ending but the loss of snow made me cry so hard OMG it broke my heart. I'm so happy Nova is pregnant and her mates are healing and happy as ever!!! I love every book in the Phoenix Prophecy and do yourself a favor and read them this author delivers characters so good u feel like u know them, world building off the charts!! I'm so excited for Luna and Lucians story coming in October I WANT IT NOW LOL
I'm sad that this is how the series ended up playing out.
I think the story could definitely have been fleshed out more, with more info on past experiences of some characters and how betrayals are going to be dealt with.
I think the ending was rushed. It didn't need to go down that way.
As much as I loved getting to be back with these characters, the series should have ended with book 6.
Lucien didn't need the intro in these books. I think he has a presence that can hold its own, starting his story.
Well i didn’t plan on crying today but i did. this series has been great. love the dynamic in the whole group. i bawled with the send off for Snow. such a brave thing he did. Cant believe this series has ended now. do we get to know more about how the surprise at the end develops? i don’t want to give to many details but I’m anxious to know! the books are not long but it painted a beautiful and eventful why choose romance that warms my heart.

I'm not crying, you are!! This was the perfect ending to The Phoenix Prophecy Series!! I have looooved reading about Nova and her mates. I can't freaking wait to start her new series featuring Luna, Lucian, and Kim! SO SO GOOD!! ♡
This ending was heartbreaking and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get over it. Surely there was some other alternative to *the big thing*?! Ugh. I felt like this last book was rushed and I have so many more questions. So much was left unexplained. Still too many POVs.
I absolutely loved this series I couldn't put the books down!!! I absolutely love that nova became pregnant the boys are going to be brilliant dad's❤️ i honestly I cried so much when mack and snow was dying it was so sad and the fact in the end snow died I was sobbing!!!

Um RUDE! I know the author says this isn't the entire end of this group that we'll see them pop up in the next series.. but mannn I could use another book for them. Especially after that ending. My heart and soul hurts and I need more closure
I'm so sad it's over and it has one of the most amazingly bitter sweet endings I think I've ever read. I hated the ending if I'm being honest because i was not expecting nor ready for that! but boy did I love the whole journey it gave me.
This book just wrapped it up so beautifully. I'm sad to see the end of this series, it's been a roller coaster of emotions. I enjoyed the characters, the spice and the story.
