The three-part best-selling and viral sensation Get In My Swamp is now in one place.
Book 1 Get In My Swamp: When Liona stumbles upon Beck, the ogre's trap, and becomes his prisoner, she's determined to escape. But it doesn't take long for things to start heating up between the two. Beck is trying to protect her, and Liona can't help her body's reaction to the buff green monster. The lines between captive and captor become blurry, and the passion becomes a raging fire neither of them can put out.
Book 2 Stay In My Swamp: Life in the swamp can't get any better for Liona and Beck. That's until Beck pops a big question that forces Liona to face some unfinished business. She heads back to LA but Beck isn't too far behind, this time looking less like an ogre thanks to some help from Winston the Wizard. Will magic be enough for Beck to get Liona to stay in his swamp forever?
Book 3 and Standalone Spellbound Seduction: Winston the Wizard is a master of magic but a stranger to love. He has a full life in the hidden world of the magical community, but lives with a condition that makes it impossible to fully connect. He's content with his life as the manager of Happily Ever Endings, a club for adult enchantments, until he meets Marigold- a young woman who suffers from a similar condition, and she needs his help to take her on a journey to cure her curse. Winston feels an instant connection to her but knows they can never be. Can he resist temptation to keep them both alive? Or will he succumb to his urges and ruin them both?
G.M. FAIRY is a #1 best-selling, romance author who dabbles in Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and all things whimsical. She's best known for Get In My Swamp and Pounded by Produce. Her specialty is taking the stories we all know and love and ruining them in the best way possible.
OKAY GUYS. HEAR. ME. OUT. Is the book title a liiitle crazy? Yes. But is it the craziest thing I've read before? Nope.
The first two books in this set follow Liona and Beck who are such a wholesome and cute couple who immediately have a spark of chemistry. Their love story was one of the best I've read in a while. One thing I would have changed about the first two books is the pace at which their relationship developed, it all felt too fast. Nevertheless, this is a monster smut book so that is to be expected lol. Liona and Beck had me giggling and kicking my feet, they are the cutest couple.
The third book follows Winston and Marigold on their journey together. The yearning, the passion, and the trust are what did it for me in this novel. This book had more of an action feel rather than a cozy romance but was definitely not short on the smut. I don't have anything to say about what I think would improve the book, I am too much of a sucker for yearning and a strong FMC. This book was my favourite out of the three.
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Loved the Beck and Liona story, a bit unhinged but very cute HEA with plenty of smut.
I did not care much for Winston’s story. It felt a bit predatory and cringe. I could have done without that story included. The book lost a star for the inclusion of that story.
The first 2 books in this 3 book collection follow Liona and Beck, and the last book follows Winston and Marigold.
For her bachelorette party, Liona is graciously taken to a silent retreat at a swamp, thanks to her maid of honour and future sister-in-law. Needing a break from a group of girls that she doesn’t connect with and the thoughts of her future, Liona takes a walk in the woods alone at night and finds herself stumbling across an ogre, or should I say trapped by an ogre. Beck is the only ogre in the magical community and is put on security duty at the entrance. Did I forget to mention, he likes to eat humans….
Immediately you get the sense of Liona being a, grab the chances you’re given in life, kind of girl. She’s strong, feisty and not afraid to use what her momma gave her, to her benefit. Beck comes across as this really big lovable ogre, who is exploring new ways in life that he didn’t think were for him. I loved watching Liona and Beck’s relationship grow and develop through the two books, you really see them become confident in who they are and the trust that they have for each other. The spice is spicing in these books and I could not of been any more on board with it🥵🥵. That scene in the second book is a must read.
We meet Winston in the first two books, but really get to see his character shine through in the second one, where we see a lot more of his personality and the things he likes😏. It was definitely an interesting one and getting to meet Marigold and watch her personality blossom was pure magic, the way they complimented one enough and fit together like a puzzle😉. Their story was definitely a journey and I loved every minute of it and when the spice started spicing, well let’s just say I was a goner.
All three of these books were amazing and I highly recommend checking them out and G.M Fairy.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
It was a quick read. I do think the ties to Shrek contribute very heavily to its popularity, but, as a whole, it’s reminiscent in no way other than very different versions of a handful of characters. I mean VERY different versions. If you’re curious, give it a go. There’s ogres and shit.
***DNF third book - rating for Get in My Swamp and Stay in My Swamp only.
I liked them. Surprisingly not bad for Shrek smut 😆 they were short reads, while simultaneously feeling like they were dragging on, which is why I’m rating them 3⭐️ instead of 4⭐️. I liked the magical aspects to it, such as the world building and the creatures. I was kind of hoping there would be more Shrek/Beck content and banter with Donkey/Donny, playing off their funny relationship like in the Shrek movies, but it wasn’t that way at all. This series has been on my TBR ever since I found out about it on Tik Tok, so I’m glad I read it. Overall, I will say not bad! I will give more G.M. Fairy books a try.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Unlike a lot of readers I had no idea this was a play on Shrek (on a deeper level I should have known based on names alone, duh), so I just read it as a fantasy smut story.
To be fair, what story there is to these is interesting enought to follow, although the villains in the first two books are slightly cartoonish. The smut is okay, but I've honestly read better too.
Overall I prefer Winston's story to Liona and Beck's, as I feel it has a bit more substance.
But 3 out of 5 stars isn't bad; this is a good collection to just take your mind off things for a little bit.
As an aside, however, I find it just a shade, er, weird that the author self-inserts as the owner of a sex club. Don't ask me why that's the weirdest thing for my brain in a smut story about seven foot ogres.
Hopping into an unknown monster romance trilogy after being so thoroughly scarred by the kraken mpreg one certainly was a choice. But come on! It's Shrek and Fiona! (Actually it's Beck and Liona, but the names are so similar, this is totally a Shrek retelling)
Book 1 - Get In My Swamp:⭐⭐⭐ Short, steamy, romantic and wholesome. A bit too heavy on the uncontrollable lust but whatever
Book 2 - Stay in my Swamp: ⭐⭐ Too unhinged to be enjoyable? They're uncontrollably horny in bloody, life threatening situations. Idk that's kinda icky :/
Book 3 - Spellbound Seduction: ⭐⭐⭐ So glad G. M. Fairy wasn't a protagonist. The last thing I needed was some strange author self-insert smut. The attraction buildup was fast, but it wasn't as insta-love or constant-lust as the first two.
I went in expecting pure chaos. And somehow ended up with feelings. Four hundred-plus pages of ogre smut sounded like a novelty read, but Liona and Beck’s story delivered far more than expected. The first novella was an absolute tornado of madness and filth, the second hit me right in the chest with its emotional weight, and the final verdict of their relationship (marriage!) had me grinning.
The third novella… yeah, I didn’t make it through, but by then I’d already been swept up in the drama, spice, and unexpected tenderness. This is unapologetically filthy, bizarrely sweet, and absolutely not for the faint of heart. If you’ve ever wondered whether ogres can carry a romance, the answer is yes. Though you might never look at a swamp the same way again.
If you are seeing this on my profile for Goodreads Don’t judge it was for bookclub purposes:)
Spice like 3/5 🌶️ Plot 6/10 But it was oddly really tame like I was kind of disappointed on how tame the story was like you could change some key words and it would be the same as if it was a normal romance story but the plot was good there was blackmail and killing of men then doing it covered in blood but it was kinda just like some of the mafia books I read. It cracked me up that the names were slightly changed like beck(shrek) Lliona(Fiona) Donny(donkey) (side note we don’t like Donny) but in all honestly I didn’t hate it and I have definitely read far worst and weirder things.
Final score would be like a 3.5/5 stars

3.5 stars. This trio of stories is dual POV, well written, and erotic, contemporary fantasy romantic comedies. Each story is complete, though the second one continues a period of time after the first. I enjoyed that each story was complete in itself. I enjoyed the plots, and I definitely enjoyed that it is a boxset, which allows for easy binge reading!
I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.
This was a spicy and light romance with each book in the collection bringing a surprise of its own. Plenty of giggles and blushes were had while reading this list filled spicy romance.
Overall there was more lust than raw love and chemistry but it balances out well in these smutty swamp reads!

I volunteered to read this as an ARC and this is my own honest review.
ARC REVIEW This completed series book is FANTASTIC! I loved every minute of these books. The quick emotions, the touch her and die trope, all was chef kisses. I loved liona and Beck. But absolutely my favorite character was Winston. Definitely worth the read! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Solid four stars for this sexy spin on Shrek and his fellow swamp/Du Loc inhabitants.
In the first novella, Get In My Swamp, we meet the feisty FMC and gruff yet sexy MMC whose story continues in the second novella, Stay In My Swamp. Concluding this collection is Spellbound Seduction, which features Winston the wizard who we meet in Liona and Beck’s duet.
At the outset, refreshingly aware of and happy with her zaftig attributes, Liona is recovering from a less than ideal childhood rife with abu$ive, al€oholi€ parents and poverty. She’s managed to pull the wealthy but arrogant Lawrence Farque as her fiance, and while his manly bits are less than noteworthy, she’s grateful to be living a comfortable lifestyle.
On a silent retreat for her hen do arranged by her would be sister in law, Liona tires of the austere digs in the swampy setting, and wanders off for a walk to clear her head. It’s not long before she’s well and truly lost, so when she sees a cozy cottage with inviting plumes of woodsmoke drifting from the chimney, she heads in that direction only to fall through a huge hole in what should be the ground.
Lonely carnivorous ogre Beck is alerted to prey in his trap by a feminine shriek. Upon investigation, he finds a ravishing brunette with curves for days and decides to keep her rather than eat her, as he’s wont to do with any other human who’s been unfortunate enough to have fallen into his traps. The otherworldly council makes an exception, but only if Beck keeps Liona as his slave, a notion which blows up almost immediately.
The chemistry between the statuesque Liona and hot green ogre hunk Beck cannot be contained, however, and chaos and lots of knotty moments ensue.
This isn’t so much a happy for now as it is in need of a happy ever after, which brings us to book two, Stay In My Swamp. Imho, this is the weakest of the three novellas: it lags quite a bit, the conflict isn’t really necessary, and it takes place largely in LA versus the swamp. It’s okay but not my favorite.
Finally, the third novella focuses on Marigold and the wizard Winston, who helped Liona and Beck with their challenges. This novella was a fun road trip romcom with some spicy times. Definitely a cute, short read with some actual touching moments.
Overall, this was a fun, low angst, wonderfully farcical trilogy.
I was provided an advance reader copy from the author and booksirens, and I’m sharing my honest review.
Get In My Swamp - The Completed Series - G.M. Fairy This is the first set of books I have read by this new to me author and I absolutely loved it! She created an intriguing world of magic, spells, laughs, love and extremely high heat filled with magical beings of all descriptions from all the fairytales. It was a truly enjoyable escapism to be lost in for a few hours. I definitely want to read more stories by this author for sure. Also hopefully a return to this world and explore more of the characters, meet new ones and catch up with the past ones again. Get In My Swamp - book one in the series features Liona Granger a woman on a hen party retreat preparing for her big day to marry a man who doesn't have a fraction of the effect that Beck has on her and she finds herself literally falling into another world filled with magical creatures where she is captured and belongs to Beck, a seven foot tall, green skinned ogre. Neither thought they would be drawn to the other or expect the consequences of their union. I really enjoyed this story, they go together so well and it just shows even magical beings have the same worries and concerns as humans do. Stay In My Swamp - Book two in this bundle and we continue with the adventures of Liona and Beck as they try to finally get their happily ever after with some help from the local wizard Winston and G.M.Fairy. Spellbound Seduction - is the third book in this magical bundle and focuses on Winston, the wizard that we have previously met in the past two books and a beautiful soul named Marigold. Marigold and Winston belong together but obstacles and curses are keeping them apart but they soon set off on their own adventures to try and find their own happily ever after too! I loved that we caught up with Liona and Beck and of course G.M. Fairy. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable read which was interesting, different but still gave you all the feels and heat that you want in a good set of romance stories. Happy Reading. Please note that I was given an arc of this book for my honest review which is exactly what I have given. 5 out of 5 stars.
Get in my Swamp : OgreBae Alert! Found my happily ever after in the most unexpected place: the swamp! G.M. Fairy's "Get in My Swamp" is a hilarious and steamy retelling you NEED on your bookshelf. Obsessed with Beck, the dreamboat ogre (don't let the green skin fool you, this guy is swoon-worthy!), Liona, the fierce human who slays with her queen energy, the laugh-out-loud banter, and the steam factor that heats things up in the swamp like nobody's business. Heads up: there's a bit of a dark side with the whole "being trapped" situation, but hey, not your typical fairytale romance, and that's what makes it so good! "Get in My Swamp" is a wild ride, but in the best way possible! Perfect for fans of unconventional romances with a healthy dose of humor and spice.
Stay in my Swamp: A delightful continuation of the "Get in My Swamp" saga. Fairy's signature blend of humor and spice returns, with laugh-out-loud moments as Beck, the endearing ogre, navigates the complexities of the human world. The story delves deeper into the emotional core of the characters' relationship, exploring themes of commitment and overcoming past challenges. While the unconventional romance and darker elements might not resonate with everyone, fans of the first book will find a satisfying conclusion filled with warmth and steam.
Spellbound Seduction: A dark fairytale for adults with a spicy twist. Think forbidden love between a cursed wizard and a bewitched beauty, all set in a magical club that caters to unconventional desires. The slow-burn tension is killer, but there might be some darker themes lurking. Do your research before diving in, but if you love taboo romances with a sprinkle of danger, this book might be your next fantasy bae!
Book 1: Get in my Swamp Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Liona is getting married. Not that she really wants to, but Lawrence seems ok. And his sister is ok. The money and lavish lifestyle seem to make up for the lackluster s3ggs and loveless feelings that Liona has.
When she accidentally falls into a trap, she’s not sure she see right: an ogre is carrying her to his cabin.
This was a short, funny, hot and very steamy story. Insta love in a Florida swamp with a plot twist at the end that I was not shocked to see.
Book 2: Stay in my Swamp Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
It’s a year later and an old problem comes back to threaten Liona and Beck’s sweet swamp life. With the help of Winston, a wizard from the little magical community they all live in, they can hopefully stop the threat and have their happily ever after!
We get introduced to Winston’s world and he’s the MMC of the third book.
Book 3: Spellbound Seduction: A Wizard Love Story Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Winston is cursed, but nobody really knows about that. When a Fairy Godmother from the LA magical club Happily Ever Endings, comes to visit him and brings her Godchild Marigold with her, he’s immediately smitten. Until he learns she’s cursed as well.
Whoever Marigold touches, turns to gold. So when she meets Winston and is told that a Vampire Wizard in New York can help her, both start a road trip from Florida. Sparks fly but no touching can happen.
This was ok, kind of the same old plot with a twist like the other two books.
I received a review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Entertaining and smutty, I enjoyed this as a relatively quick and easy read. This is three books in one and part three was my favorite. The writing isn't the best, but it definitely wasn't a deal breaker
Part 1 features Beck, an ogre living alone guarding the entrance to his magical community... and Liona, an unhappily engaged woman, trying to psych herself up for her upcoming wedding. This one was a good read. I enjoyed pretty much every aspect of it. The plot was somewhat rushed, but it's a short book, so it makes sense. The ending though! Lol. The little "twist" at the end was quite the shocker, I did NOT see coming. 😅
Part 2 continues with Beck & Liona and some trouble from her past still lingering in her present. It also introduces a new character, Winston, who happened to wind up as my favorite. They get to go on an "adventure" to rid herself of this trouble and much excitement ensues.
Part 3 was my fave. It follows Winston and a new character, Marigold. They both are cursed and in a road trip to break said curses. I enjoyed the tension between the two and, really, this book just seemed all around better to me. The story was simple, but still had its exciting moments.
This series kept me entertained throughout. At no point did I consider not finishing it. :) Definitely worth checking out for an easy, fun, smutty good time. 😉
“Our souls are two pieces of a puzzle.” Sentiments of both couples. This bundle includes two stories: one about Beck, the Ogre and Liona, his human mate finding each other. And, secondly, the wizard who assists them, Winston gets his forever love in the last of the three books. Each have an abundance of explicit scenes so if that is what you enjoy, you will want this book. On top of that there are two very distinct plots which are pretty straight-forward but intriguing none the less. Liona is stressed out over her impending loveless marriage to the LA rich and powerful Lawrence. While Liona is on her bachelorette party in Florida with his sister, she is trapped and kidnapped by Beck. Their complete story takes two books. Expect surprises! In the last of the three the kind and mysterious wizard Winston is called on to help Marigold eliminate her curse of turning anything she touches into gold. But we find out that Winston has secrets too. Can they get the HEA that the reader will want for them? As I said before, there are a lot of intimate scenes which almost over-powered the first two stories. If that appeals to you, read this bundle. The stories are intriguing and entertaining. Little humor, little angst, lots of ***. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book through BookSirens.
Until recently I didn't even know monster smut was a thing, and when I did learn of it, I didn't think it would be anything I would be interested in reading. I came across this book cover and thought it would be good for an amused laugh. But, now here we are, a Monster Smut Convert!
Since this a collection of three stories, I will try to review each individually. The first book of the collection is Get in My Swamp, a spicy retelling of the green ogre friend of the most famous mouse on the planet. Beck and Liona's love story was really sweet and "warms [your] heart to see such a terrifying monster turn into a big ol' softy around the woman he loves."
The second book, Stay in My Swamp, also focuses on Beck and Liona. Liona finds Beck and the magical community threatened if she doesn't return to her old life in LA. This one is very sex focused so buckle up, or strap on, whichever is your style.
Finally, the third book, Spellbound Seduction, is a standalone focusing on Winston the Wizard. This one is a fated mate trope and is so satisfying. The loneliness wafting off both Winston and Marigold is heartbreaking. They both long to be close to someone and to be able to feel love. This story is really sweet and lovely.
I love these delightful, funny, exciting and steamy romantic journeys. The first adventure stars Liona a delightful, curvy young woman who is at her terrible Bachelorette party in a swamp at a silent retreat. After a nightmare she goes walking in the woods and falls into a trap. Beck is the Ogre guardian of his supernatural community, the trap is his and his world will never be the same again. Beck and Liona are fantastic together, Beck likes the quiet and Liona loves to talk. They have many adventures, face dangerous challenges and surprises that bring them friendship and happiness. Delightful, heartwarming stories. Next is Winston’s love story, exciting, sweet and frightening journey to his dreams come true. GM Godmother asks Winston to take Marigold to New York, she is cursed and wants a cure. Winston has a similar curse and he is fascinated with Marigold, he has never felt like this about anyone. They are drawn together, both need to be together. They will find danger, betrayal, terror and death on their journey before their dreams come true. Beautifully written, heartwarming, delicious and steamy love story. I loved 🥰 every second, couldn’t put it down. Fascinating reading I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
"Get in My Swamp" by G.M. Fairy is a fun, fast-paced novella that injects some serious spice into the classic ogre myth.
Steamy Scenes: This is a dark fantasy romance that leans into the heat. Don't expect a slow burn here. It’s extremely fast-paced. Sassy Characters: Liona, the fmc, is refreshingly independent and the banter between her and the ogre, Brek, is a highlight. Humorous Take: The story doesn't take itself too seriously, with plenty of winks to the original Shrek story. Quick Read: This novella is perfect for a weekend escape or a late-night indulgence.
If you're looking for a complex plot or deep character development, this might not be the book for you. Also, be aware that the book includes mentions of violence, past trauma, and dub-con elements (non-consensual bondage turning consensual).
In conclusion, this book is a wild ride that will leave you laughing, blushing, and maybe a little surprised. If you're looking for a light, entertaining romance with a healthy dose of humor and spice, then this is a swamp worth diving into.

"An Amazing Paranormal Monster Romance collection" Each story is fun to read. Each one is awesome. The characters are fantastic. This is a five star plus collection. Liona is a spunky young woman. She is about to get married to a very wealthy man. His sister is her maid of honor. Her sister in law plans Liona's bachelorette party. In of all places in a swamp silence spa. Liona soon gets bored and takes a walk. Problem is she wonders to far from the spa. Next thing she knows she falls into a pit trap. It knocks her out. Beck is a sexy Orge. He made traps to capture humans who stumble onto his land. Orge's normally eat humans, but when he sees Liona he decides to keep her. Before he gets her to his cabin she wakes up, and freaks out. Beck is very attracted to her. Liona vows to escape, but fate may have other plans for her! This was a great example of the exciting, funny, thrilling, and very scorching hot stories in this collection.
The Get In My Swamp Complete Series bundles three spicy, fantasy romances into one wild ride. Books one and two follow Liona and Beck, a human woman and the only ogre in the magical community, whose meet-cute is more “trapped in a net” than “chance encounter.” Their dynamic flips quickly from wary to fiery, balancing absurd humor with over-the-top steam. The third book shifts focus to Winston the wizard and Marigold, a pair bound by shared struggles and drawn together in a more adventurous, magic-laced romance.
This set is chaotic, cheeky, and unapologetically steamy. Liona and Beck’s banter and unexpected sweetness make their story a joy, even if the relationship moves at lightning speed. Winston and Marigold’s journey brings a different flavor, blending action with longing. It’s a playful, unhinged collection that knows exactly what it’s here to deliver, fantasy fun with a heavy dose of spice.
Thanks to BookSirens and the author for a copy of this book.
This is a dark & smutty monster romance that is HEAVY on the spice and tbh pretty light on the plot and character development. If you're looking for a lighthearted romance, this probably is not the book for you. To be honest, I went into this mainly thinking I'd get some laughs and a quick silly read, I was wrong 😂
Beck & Leona's story has some Shrek references and similarities but honestly it's pretty much its own thing. I hate to be this person but a lot of the language was so crude and cringy ESPECIALLY in the spicy scenes I was skimming through some of them because it was just too much. Don't get me wrong, I love a good smutty book now and then but this just was not it...
