Mr. President
Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made available for future generations to enjoy.

A short story that brings not much new after the intial start. A man is elected President and that scares him to death. Everything is nice and polite during his first day in office but you can easily feel that it is not going well.
Well-written but not very credible. The decisions are not very different from the ones that are taken today by top politicians, only the impact concerns many more lives and a much longer timespan.
Easily readibly, pleasant even, with an uncomfortable gut feeling.

Gimmicky, but creative and satirical enough to earn three stars.
