DV is ALWAYS the best and ALWAYS makes me so happy!!
This is the very fast, very sweet, very hot story of Michael, a grizzly shifter who owns a ranch, and longs to find his mate. His brothers already found theirs and he is the eldest and the last. He scents his mate at the store, and realized that the woman that almost hit his car with her converted skoolie, the same girl who flipped him off when he honked at her, is his mate. He is frenzied and is on the hunt to find her. His bear takes over, even though he fights it and is looking for her. Two weeks later he finds her and she hides under the bus from the bear throwing jerky at him (that was hilarious), but once inside the bus, his bear shifts back, in front of her stands a naked, hulking man just staring at her like she is a Goddess.
Jemma is a lawyer who wants out of the city, in pursuit of happiness and adventure. She hates being a lawyer, she hates her life, so she decided to change and convert a skoolie and travel the country, seeing where life will take her. She is determined and her excitement and happiness with her new nomadic life is quite infectious. It made me dream to do the same! She breaks down near the Montana mountains and a grizzly sees her. (That is when she throw jerky in his face!) He shifts before her and she feels things she never felt before. He tries to coax her to just gaze in his eyes to feel the bond, but she already feels a pull. I do love that detail, that they already feel an attraction to each other before they lock eyes. It tells me that yes, fate has a lot to do with it, but it is really two souls recognizing one another. It rains, she lets him in after some convincing, they have dinner with some conversation, and they get right down to sex. Yes, it is fast, but they did wait a lifetime for their one, and to me, I am more than fine with it!
This story does not lack in the spice department when it comes to sex! I feel the love, but then again, I always do because DV is my favorite, and they did wait (especially him) for a lifetime for his one true love. So when they have dinner and then sex, I am perfectly fine knowing that.
They spend time together getting to know each other. We know that shifters feel the pull right away, and know how the mating is going to go with the bite mark, but his human doesn't know. Jemma is so accepting, so open to the mating, to the pull and even soothes Michael when he feels the need to mark her with his bite. He doesn't want to hurt her, but she sees the need in him and the pain, so she openly gives her neck to sooth her mate plus, she wants to be connected in that way just as much as him. I really like when both our hero and heroine do everything to please and soothe each other, it makes them more likable as individuals, so you root for their relationship when they are together, knowing it will stand the test of time. I felt that for Micheal and Jenna for sure! My only criticism, is I wish they exchanged "I love yous" and they never did. I feel the love between them, there is not questioning that, but it always bothers me when they don't say the words.
I recommend it! I will reread it again, as I love Olivia T Turner's shifter romances. They are sweet and she respects the fated mate trope, guaranteeing us to be DV as it would not be true fated mates without it. They should go hand in hand always!

It's a cute and fast-paced story! I loved the freedom plan that Tara devised to find her own vibe! Michael was a surprise and their two personalities were different enough to make it make sense. Where she was kind of laid back, he was all intensity fueled by a mate-sick inner bear. There are plenty of sexy times, but you can also see the connection develop from the second time they meet, lol! It's a cool plot, fast-paced, with truly connectable characters!

Like the other books in this series, I enjoyed the forced proximity and insta-lust tropes! The couples get together fairly quickly and it gets hot and heavy! The MC’s are all growly and super possessive of their women. Since each book is a different type of MMC (shifter, human, and alien vampire) you get a variety of spice! As of now, I think this is the last installment. This series was fun to read and I hope they collab more in the future!

Jemma has been an attorney in New York and she was good but she never felt happy. Jemma bought an old school bus and converted it into a skoolie. She has decided to drive across the country and enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains. Jemma is stopped in Caldwell, Montana. She is stocking up on supplies in a small store and is conversing with Earl the owner. Jemma goes to drive away but she can’t see behind her and someone honks at her so she flips him off. Michael is a grizzly bear shifter and he can’t believe the lady in the bus flipped him off. Michael talks to Earl and Earl tells him that Jemma is a nice woman. They go in the store and Michael is hit with the strongest, sweetest smell. Michael has been looking for his mate for a long time. When Earl, an old black bear shifter, tells Michael that the feeling he has is because of his mate. Michael rushes out to try and catch Jemma. Two weeks later Jemma is loving the peace and quiet in the mountains of Montana. She needs to get more supplies but her skoolie won’t start. Jemma is sitting outside when a grizzly bear comes charging toward her. Michael has been in bear form for two weeks looking for Jemma. Jemma makes it into her skoolie to escape the bear. Jemma is watching the bear as it starts to shake and shiver and turns into a naked man. Michael tries to tell Jemma that they are mates and he asks for a towel to cover up. Eventually Jemma throws Michael a towel and then she comes out of talk and fix Michael dinner. She feels a pull towards him. When it starts to pour they run into the skoolie where they end up having sex, the first time for both of them. Jemma realizes that Michael is right and they are mates. Will Michael and Jemma get the skoolie started? Will Jemma enjoy the family ranch that Michael shares with his two brothers and their mates? Will Michael and Jemma have a family together? Will Michael and Jemma find love and happiness as fated mates?

Marvelous Grizzly Bear Shifter Double Virgin romance!

This was an adorable and well written novella. This is the story of Jemma (28) and Michael (30)

Jemma comes from a family of very successful lawyers and she is at the height of her law career and living in New York city. She finally takes a look at her life and realizes how miserable she is and decides to do something about it. Jemma sells her New York condo and buys a retired school bus with the dream of turning it into a house on wheels that she can use to explore nature. She stays with her grandma on her farm while it takes her a few months to renovate the bus and then she takes off for the summer to start her adventure.

Michael is a grizzly bear shifter and while he is pulling into the general store in his town of Caldwell, Jemma almost backs her bus into his truck. Needless to say, their first meeting was anything but smooth, it was however, really funny. It was also pleasing that after the way Micheal behaved, he realized that she was his mate when he entered the store and picked up her scent.

He starts to look for her when his grizzly suddenly forces his way out and stays in control for over two weeks. His bear does find Jemma deep in the woods and what follows is some seriously funny dialogue between these two. Once Jemma accepts their connection and the heat starts, it is enough to melt your eReader and this story is dual virgins which I love! Nothing better than fated mates who waited for each other.

Jemma finally feels like she has found her home in Michael and can be at peace. There are two very sweet HEA epilogues that span several decades that show us a look at their shifter babies, the rest of their tight knit family and how their life unfolded.

I definitely recommend this spicy little novella and cannot wait to continue with the rest of the series ❤️

NYC attorney Jemma says goodbye to her “perfect” job, her expensive condo and her family of legal big shots to hit the road in a converted school bus. She passes through a small town in Montana and decides to park in the mountains there for a bit. In the rudest meet-cute ever, she has a near run-in with the guy who turns out to be her mate. Michael, a shifter whose bear has become increasingly aggressive the longer he goes mateless, doesn’t realize who she is until she’s gone. He spends the next couple of weeks hunting her down before he finally finds her broken down in the woods. Can he convince Jemma that she’s meant to be with the grizzly bear who’s just changed into a naked man in front of her?

This was such a cute story and a nice twist on the instalove trope as it starts off with an insta-irritation. Jemma and her newly cultivated free spirit are refreshing and I was rooting so hard for her and Michael, who’s desperate to find the love his younger brothers already have. His vulnerability once he finds Jemma is so sweet and earnest that I just wanted to wrap him up and promise things will turn out OK. Then the mood of the two turned lusty and I was here for it! Olivia always delivers with the heat and I was half-worried they’d burn the dang forest down. Loved the two epilogues, especially the way the second one brought the story full circle.

Highly recommend for fans of instalove, fated mates and sexy sexy loving 😉.

“I’m doing this for me... And I’m not looking for anyone’s approval. I spent my life doing things for everyone else’s approval and look where it got me... It got me miserable. And I’m done being miserable.”

I can really appreciate Jemma's drive to finally do something that would make her happy instead of being miserable. So she quit her job as a lawyer and partner in a big law firm, sold her condo, and bought a school bus that she's going to renovate and then just drive into nature. She worked all day at a job that made her miserable and despite making in a month what people make in a year, she gave it up. (Though I can admit, not many people can afford to do something like this). I liked her interaction with the man in the general store. She was a menace nearly crashing into Michael's truck with her bus, and then flipping him off for it as she left. As soon as he picked up her scent and realized she was his mate, his bear took over until they finally found her two and a half weeks later. This was no instalove for her. She was rationally cautious and as safe as she could be in a broken down bus in the middle of nowhere. I liked how earnest Michael was with her.

“A bear shifter will wait their whole lives for their mate,” I continue. “No one else can tempt them. No one else can even turn their head. A shifter lives and breathes for their mate and their mate only. Once they’re together, the bond can never be broken. They’ll live the rest of their lives as one.”

Part of the Marooned For A Night series with a shifter and the one who captures his undivided attention. Jemma s brilliant attorney working in New York but tired of defending people decided to resign downsize move to Montana to follow her dream of buying a school bus turning it into a skoolie where she can travel something like a mobile home, and she is loving the quiet nights looking at the stars up in the mountains but she wasn’t expecting this trip to shift her path. Michael sexy as all get out grizzly shifter watched his brothers find their mates the happier they are the lonelier believing he isn’t every going to find his mate his bear is growing grumpier by the day, while out he smells the most amazing smell following it and it leads him to the beautiful women the same one that almost hit him in the parking lot of his own parking lot while driving a skoolie and she is his the one he has been waiting for all his life. Michael finds her determined to win her trust enough to win all of her by showing her what being a mate is all about and fate decided to help them by allowing them to get stranded in the wilderness the magnetic pull can’t be ignored and the longer they are around each other the stronger it grows but will she stick around, will he understand her need to travel, will she be able to navigate his world accepting all of him, and can they find happiness along the way?

First, I gotta say, I LOVE Ms. Turner’s dedications. They’re the first thing I always check out (after those hot covers), before I read a word of the actual book. Not because I can’t wait to dig in but because they’re hilarious in and of themselves, kinda like some of the signage you keep an eye out for across the country.

I don’t mind saying that I follow quite a few authors and, of course I enjoy ‘em or I wouldn’t bother but with probably 95%, although I’m pretty sure I’m gonna end up loving the books, you can’t always be sure what route they’re gonna take you to get there. You don’t know if it’s gonna be instalove, enemies to lovers, best friends to lovers, friends to enemies to lovers or somewhere in between but I haven’t read even one OTT book where the MMC wasn’t instantly obsessed with the FMC and didn’t mind showing her how far gone he was over her and how he couldn’t live without her. Realistic? Maybe not but when I need a little bit of romance to make it through a long drawn out week, the last thing I’m looking for is realism. For this reason, not the least of which is because she can always be counted on to write exactly what I love to read, Ms. Turner will always be one of my tippest top author favorites. 5 insatiably hot stars for Michael and Jemma!!.

A Grizzly Bear Shifter desperate to find his Fated Mate, grumpy that both of his younger brothers found their mate first & already have children. A recently resigned New York Lawyer completely changing her lifestyle & bought a school bus - skoolie - to travel the country. Their paths indirectly cross in the parking lot of Earl's... Jemma is trying to back-up, adjust & drive her skoolie, while Michael is behind her in his truck - his horn blaring to let her know not to hit him. They are not very nice to each other in those brief moments of driving... 🙄 Michael realizes his dilemma when he scents his fated mate inside Earl's. He tries to find her out on the open road, but Jemma disappeared into nature. Fast forward a month, Michael's grizzly bear has taken him hostage - by not releasing his bear form and has wandered around in nature looking for Jemma. Michael finds her & forces himself to the forefront. Jemma *meets* Michael for this first time in all of his glorious nakedness. (Yes, please!) 😏 Definitely some humor in this short story, insta-love at it's finest, dual virgins, no ow/om drama, sizzling sex, HEA... 🥵🔥💋

I am such a sucker for Olivia’s shifter romances and this one quenched my thirst that I have been having for one!

Jemma is done being a lawyer and done living in NYC. This feisty and fierce woman downsizes and moves to Montana to live out her dream of converting an old school bus into a mobile home. What she didn’t expect while enjoying the peace and tranquility of the beautiful mountains was finding her fated mate.

Michael has had to watch his other two brothers enjoy finding their mates and longs for his own. What he didn’t expect was to be hit with the scent of his mate and have it matched up to the spitfire that flashed him the middle finger while driving a skoolie.

This was such a fun read filled with a hilarious meet and greet between two fated mates that have been longing to find one another. It’s sweet and spicy filled with an OTT alpha determined to never let his mate go after waiting so long to find her. The perfect pallet cleanser that had me smiling and swooning throughout with epilogues that made my heart melt. I loved every single word and can’t wait for the next delicious tale from this talented queen!

Stranded with an Insatiable Shifter by Olivia T. Turner is part of the Marooned for a Night Series.

When I see a new book by Olivia T. Turner is available, I download it immediately, I don't even bother reading the blurb. I just know it will be a quick, fun, well written story and that I will enjoy it.

Grizzly shifter Michael had all but given up on finding his mate, making his temper run short and his grizzly unhappy as well. He is also envious that both of his brothers had recently found their mates. To make matters worse, an out of towner almost hits him in the parking lot of his local store. But when he walks inside the store, his bear picks up the scent he has waited his entire life for, his mate.

This is the OTT instalove type story I enjoy. Although at first, the couple might seem like an odd match, they are perfect together. Their chemistry is great, and of course, there are lots of steamy scenes. The pace is fast, it can be read in about an hour, and the epilogue is super sweet.

I love these books. They are always quite steamy, plenty sweet and always funny. They are just perfect. This one is about Michael and Jemma. Michael has seen his two younger brothers find their mates and it is hardcore irking him, to the nth degree. All he wants is his mate. The girl fated to be his to love forever. Jemma is awesome. This is book 9 of Marooned for the Night and so excited to read this and the whole series. It was a great book.

Jemma is an attorney and finally realized says goodbye to her job and finally going to do what she wants to be free to make others happy. She passes through a town and decides to rest and enjoy the mountains. She has a run in with Micheal. He is bear shifter who finds out the woman he was mean is the one. Now he has to find her. He spends the next couple of weeks hunting her down before he finally finds her broken down in the woods. He has to convince her that she is his mate. The connection and the fierce chemistry are off the charts.

I loved Stranded With An Insatiable Shifter Book 9 of Marooned For A Night. Jemma changed her whole life, she didn’t want to be what her family wanted any longer. She redid a school bus and set out in an adventure. Michael just smelled his mate and now he has to find her. He wasn’t expecting it to be some city girl but now that he found her, he won’t ever let her go. I loved the story and the characters. To find someone so loyal as a shifter would be amazing. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

Jemma and Michael were so sweet. How she finally realized what she wanted and he didn't oppose, just helped her by being by her side and letting her live her dreams. The epilogue especially highlights this.
But overall the story was cute and fast. Michael and his bear were after their mate and were not about to be deterred by a storm, a mountain, or time. And Jemma was determined to be happy and after a lifetime of being in an office miserable, a hot-as-hell shifter is one hell of a reward. They are so amazing together and I adored the family epilogue.
It's another OTT book that made me giddy and happy.

Michael (H) was just as delicious and OTT as his brothers. Once he scents his mate, Jemma (h), he stops at nothing until he can make her fully his.

After almost rear-ending her bus and honking at her she flips him off and drives away. He catches her scent when he walks into the little mart she left and goes crazy trying to find her. He does. Two weeks later. He's been in bear form the whole time because his bear isn't going to let him mess it up a second time.


What follows is a lot of steam with OTT growly moments and a dash of sweetness mixed in, I loved the epilogues.

When she is in the Montana mountains, he bus decides it does not want to go any farther. She sees a grizzly come out of the wood, he changes to a gorgeous man, shifters are real?

Michael's brothers have all found their mates except him. When he goes into town, he can smell her in the general store, but she has already left. His grizzly takes off into the wood to find her.

Can he convince Jemma that they are fated mates?.

Stranded with an Insatiable Shifter is delightfully sassy and hotter with every turn of the page. I absolutely enjoyed every moment of Michael and Jemma’s story! Jemma is a spitfire with a brilliant mind and wanderlust in her soul. I love how she boldly goes after what she wants regardless of what anyone else has to say—she follows her heart and stays true to herself. Michael is fierce and fiery and struggling with his bear—the desire to be with his mate is palpable and electric. OTT has delivered another amazing, fun, sexy, double v-card, hot shifter romance. What a way to escape for an hour!
