This is the perfect book for throwing a spooktacular dinner party.
At first glance, I believed this was awkward recipes for the living dead. Maybe add witches toenails, brain slime, and spider legs into boiling pot. It’s not that at all. It’s great recipes to look horrifying to any normal guest.
Be right back! I must strain some eyeballs for lunch!
I love this book! My sister made me an "Addams Family" birthday dinner one year using some of these recipes. My friend Val and I used to make Halloween dinner every year using this book when her kids were little. Too bad it's out of print... Combine it with Gross-Out Cakes: the Kitty Litter Cake and Other Classics by Kathleen Barlow and Britney Schetselaar and Gross Grub by Cheryl Porter.
