This is not the actual book The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg. Do not buy this book summary and study guide if you are looking for a full copy of this outstanding book, which can be found back on the Amazon search page.
Instead, we have read (and loved) The Power of Habit and have pulled out some of the best ideas, insights and take-away points to give you a comprehensive chapter-by-chapter summary and review in an engaging and easily digestible format. In doing so, unfortunately we do not have the space to discuss all of the many important ideas and anecdotes found in the book. To get it all, you need to order the full book. This concise summary and study guide works best as an unofficial study guide or companion to read alongside this important book.
I opted for this summary of The Power of Habit as it was available on free audio with my Scribd subscription. This summary consisted of a lot of stories to illustrate the points made in the book, but it was very story-heavy and the points were brief. I hope the full version would dive deeper into the point, but as it stands the summary does not get me interested enough to care to read the full work. I would have been better off trying to find the real book because I'm left very apathetic towards the topic.
First 3 chapters are a great read because the author does not deviate from research+Examples. The last few chapters feels like this is another self help book with some stories.
Powerful and life-altering information. This text along with Atomic Habits will definitely give you a new perspective on habits. Filled with examples of how habits affect and change lives.
