Besides the 1980's creation of the Young Wizards fantasy series for which she's best known, the "Middle Kingdoms" epic fantasy series, and numerous stand-alone fantasy or science fiction novels, her career has included extensive work in the Star Trek TM universe, and many scripts for live-action and animated TV series on both sides of the Atlantic, as well as work in comics and computer games. Her favorite color is blue, her favorite food is a weird kind of Swiss scrambled-potato dish called maluns, she was born in a Year of the Dragon, and her sign is "Runway 24 Left, Hold For Clearance."
Personally I think the book DEATH MATCH by Diane Duane was an interesting read. It combined the genres sports and action to create a book sports fans would enjoy. I think people who enjoy reading books about sports would love this book, because this book has a life and death situation to save a game based on soccer. Now lets cut to the chase this book is about a girl named Catie who is a life long spatball fan . Although spatball ( Americas current favorite pastime ) is threaten by gamblers who want a sure thing of making money on the game. Over all in my opinon this was a decent book. I believe readers with a certain taste would love this book although it requires readers with that certain taste.
