The DARE TO LOVE books consist of Miami siblings/halfsiblings and NY cousins (hotter books) and the books ran in consecutiveorder. It makes more sense for the books to be divided by family and so I have split up the series as follows - The Dare to Love Series (Miamisiblings) and the NY Dares (NY cousins). Please note ALL BOOKS CAN BEREAD ALONE but if you enjoy your stories in order, below is the newseries order. I hope you enjoy!

I will admit I went into this blind……I just wanted to read more of Carly Phillips books so I saw this was the first book in a new series for me. It took me a long time to realize that Gabe is the cousin to Ian and Alex from the DARE TO LOVE series.
After reading several books from this author I know now that her books are a bit shorter than most but for the most part I feel she has decent characters built so that you get a good feel for everything that is necessary for the storyline. You would need to keep in mind though that they are shorter books so you don’t get the same character and storyline development.
Gabe Dare is a typical alpha from the Dare family and a very likable character. Isabelle had clearly allowed herself to be used as a doormat by her previous boyfriend and she lost her identity in that relationship but she learned from it and is really trying to be more independent and strong. I liked seeing her growth back to the way she was before. I think that happens to a lot of women and it was good to see the changes she was making happen.
These two had great chemistry and the intimate scenes were HOT!!!!
25-year old Isabelle just left her cheating and controlling boyfriend Lance. Without money and clothes, she has nowhere to go. That's when Gabriel Dare finds her and asks her to come home with him. (Home to his amazing NYC penthouse.)
He's basically a stranger. Not really though. Both Gabe and her ex run in the same social circles and she met Gabriel lots of times. And most of those times were spent flirting and looking and dreaming and wishing. And now he's asking her to move in with him??? o.O
She's not sure what to do - of course she wants to spend time with Gabe, but she doesn't want to go from one controlling guy to the next - and Gabe seems very dominant. But in Gabe this doesn't bother her at all. He's so kind and sweet and sexy and he seems to just want what's best for her.
Gabe doesn't really know what to do either. He only knows that he wants her in his life. After the death of his wife - he never wanted anything serious. But now, he's dreaming of something more.
The book takes us from New York to the paradise Island Resort of EDEN - where Izzy is hired to work as the interior designer in the Dare siblings' new night club.....
WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO ISABELLE & GABRIEL??? WILL THEY GET THEIR HEA??? WILL THERE BE A CLIFFHANGER o.O
OR WILL EVERYBODY DIE AT THE END???
NOPE..... I'm not telling you ☺
I don't want to spoil anything!!! ☺☺☺ (OK - I can tell you that there's no cliffhanger ;) ) _________________________________
I LOVED THE BOOK!!!
This was a quick, cute and sexy romance. It takes them a while to get together - even though they live together right at the beginning... I really wanted to slap Izzy a few times...
Make up your mind girl!!!! Stay or Go!! (I would've stayed, had I been in her shoes!!!☺)
But of course we understand where she's coming from. She didn't have a great life growing up and then practically going from her parents to Lance, she doesn't know if she should trust the amazing life Gabe promises.
I kind of had a bit of a problem with the blurb. It says that Izzy gets invited to the Eden Island Resort - but that doesn't happen until the middle of the book. I wish that would've happened a bit earlier and we could've spent some more time there ☺
But we (Izzy and Gabe) had to go through the events and experiences that happened in the weeks before the Island 'vacation'. But once we're there - Gabe has one goal - the one goal he's had since he saw Izzy for the first time: Make her his!
We have lots of sexy scenes - a few sad and moving and suspensy and funny scenes....
I just had the feeling the book wanted to be longer - another 150 pages would've made it perfect! There was a lot more that could've been told - it all felt a bit rushed to me.
But I still really enjoyed reading it! It was the perfect little sexy, romantic summer-beach-read!
If you like sexy Romances with really hot Millionaire - GO BUY THE BOOK!!!! ☺
I love Carly Phillips, but I didn’t love this...or really even like it much....siiigh Fir my thoughts on this book and other romances subscribe to my YouTube channel!
4 Stars! Another enjoyable addition in the Dare to Love series!
Gabe Dare was a character I wanted to know more about when he first made an appearance in Dare to Desire, the second book in this series. Initially when the story started out I thought it was going to mirror so many typical romances that seem to be today's trend; insta-love between rich guy and submissive girl, kink in the bedroom, and so on. In some ways that was the case, but Carly Phillips had the good sense to add depth to the characters and the plot, which set Dare to Surrender apart from that overdone scenario . While Gabe was a possessive alpha male with demanding tendencies, he also recognized what Isabelle needed and allowed her the time and space to come back to herself before she could go back to him. She had to learn to trust Gabe and see that he was the real deal, and not just using words to woo her and push her back into the same life she ran from. For as much as Gabe was overbearing, he's a good person who deems himself as a caretaker, and for good reason, but he also knows when he has to back off.
I appreciated that Dare to Surrender wasn’t buried knee deep in sex or mired in angst. Oh, there was passion and heated intimacy, and of course Gabe and Isabelle needed to find common ground, but the author gave the characters a chance to develop along with their story. Told in first person from Gabe and Isabelle's perspective, it flowed well and had a good amount of dialogue, another plus for this reader. It rounds out nicely with a predictable, but satisfying ending.
While this book is part of the Dare to Love series it is also crosses over to the in the Invitation to Eden series, and the connection was interesting and played nicely into both storylines. I also enjoyed the role Lucy and Decklan, Gabe’s siblings and both very likeable characters, played in the story. They are now on my reading radar, especially Decklan, the man has secrets, and I want to know what they are! However, I was somewhat disappointed not to have a little more time with the Dare cousins. I would imagine as the series moves forward that we’ll hear more about them, especially when the it goes back to the Florida clan. Lord knows Carly Phillips has large pool of Dares to write about, and I look forward to reading about each and every one of them.
*A copy of the book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review*
Although the writing is tight and the story keeps one turning pages, there were just too many situations that were a little too far-fetched to be believable for me.
This is a series about the cousins of another book series by the author. I quite liked this one although it's very, very heavy with sexual content. I didn't connect with the characters as easily as in the other series but I did like it.
Another winning erotic romance from the incredibly talented Carly Phillips! In my review of book two, Dare To Desire I noted how hot these books were progressively getting and Phillips definitely delivered the goods this time around!
Isabelle just wants to stand on her own two feet after leaving her domineering ex-boyfriend behind. Needing to prove to herself and everyone else that she doesn’t need anyone to take care of her. Yet from the moment she sees acquaintance Gabe while sitting in the police station on a trumped up charge, her body and her mind yearn to be possessed by him. Convincing herself she can take the help he offers, if only on a temporary basis, she agrees to go home with him.
From the first moment he saw her several years ago he knew he wanted her. When Gabe sees her sitting in a police station he sees his chance to finally tell her how he feels and to take her home and worship her body. When he realizes how much she needs to realize her own potential before she can be his he reluctantly lets her go…again. But reunions are coming on the island of Eden and he’s intent on proving to his independent woman that she can have it all and still be her own person.
What a fantastic, emotional roller coaster! I adored Iz and her fierce need to feel independent. To often heroines in romances rely on the hero to feel whole and Isabelle was the exact opposite. After living in a possessive relationship for years she needed to make it on her own, even if she craved Gabe like nothing she’d ever felt before. Her self esteem wasn’t all that great but her growth throughout the book had her learning that she was perfect the way she was and her confidence soon rebounded.
Gabriel Dare has got to be one of the hottest heroes of Phillips to date! His willingness to let Isabelle go in order for her to grow and understand her worthiness was incredibly heartwarming and reaffirmed my love for him as a character. Though he felt some guilt over past relationships, his determination to overcome them in order to be the best man for Isabelle was forefront in his mind. Giving her both an epic opportunity in her job and a chance to re-connect on a lush tropical island gave him the best of both worlds for his Iz. I did wish he had beat the crap out of her ex on several occasions, but true to his character he instead dealt the man the hard blows professionally, which I suppose is just as good, if not a bit disappointing that his face wasn’t pounded in.
Dare To Surrender is a must read for Phillips fans as well as erotic romance fans alike! This can be read as a stand alone if you must but I highly recommend reading the prior two as well because each one is incredible! The Dare family has been through a lot together and their willingness to remain close and envelop new additions just reaffirms their familial bonds. This is a fantastic series and a must read!
I give Dare To Surrender by Carly Phillips 5 stars!
Dare to Surrender, Carly Phillips. Review from jeannie zelos book reviews This is a stand alone novel, ( hurrah ) although part of a series about connected characters and places. I've not read any of the other books but that didn't affect the way I understood this book. It's a fun read, easy to follow, sexy and sensual, with a decent storyline – and a HEA – I love those. At 230 pages its quite a short read, but its not filled with fluff anf waffle but with people and events that fit the storyline, and add to the enjoyment of the tale. I loved Gabe, right from the start. He's kind of taciturn and yet...so protective and wants to just make Isabelle happy. He's watched her for a while now, and when the jerk Ex lets her leave at night after she finds out he's been cheating with her friend, with nothing but what she's wearing and nowhere to go, he steps in and takes her home. He's good though is Gabe, he knows she needs her independence, something the Ex took from her and left her in the mess she's in, so when she leaves he does nothing to stop her, knowing she's safe and has a job and home arranged. Isabelle has been attracted to him for far too long, but while she was with her Ex a little light flirting was the extent of their contact. She's not a cheater unlike the Ex, and Gabe too has a girlfriend. Once Isabelle is free though he parts ways with his girlfriend, they were not in a serious relationship, more one of convenience. I loved Isabelle, understood her need to regain her independence, and when she gets the offer, via Gabe's sister Lucy, to take a contract on Eden, a very select island where they are setting up a new club, she accepts. She has an idea Gabe might have had something to do with it, but she knows its good for the firm and well within her capabilities, and that she can do a good job...then she gets to the island and things heat up – quickly, searingly, and they are caught up ina fast burning attraction. It's an easy read, sexy and erotic, and with a decent story. Its not wall to wall sex, but well written, hot scenes that slot neatly into the story, sometimes there's so much sex the story suffers, not so here, its perfectly balanced. I loved the characters, loved the way the story played out even down to the sad parts. I need those to balance the happy parts ;-) Stars: Almost a five, a good four and a half. I'm a huge fan of Carly Phillips. I've absolutely fallen in love with her Dare to Love series and loved Dare to Surrender so much. Dare to Surrender is part of the Invitation to Eden series of stories that have been coming out since the beginning of the year.
Gabe Dare is currently my favorite member of the Dare family from this series. I loved him from the very first time he appeared on the page. I also loved Isabelle and knew she and Gabe were perfect for one another from the beginning. The chemistry between Gabe and Izzy has been there since they met back with she was still dating Lance, her cheating ex-boyfriend.
While I loved that Gabe initially rescued Izzy, I also loved that her saw who she really was and knew when she needed space to figure out what she needed on her own. Gabe is super protective of Izzy, and has to have control in the bedroom. Gabe and Izzy together were explosive. Even Gabe's siblings could feel the chemistry when they were around them.
I absolutely loved the time Gabe and Izzy spent together at Eden. While Izzy is there to help decorate the new club Gabe's sister Lucy is opening, there was still plenty of time for Izzy and Gabe to spend time together. As Gabe and Izzy spent more time together, they grew closer and only Gabe trying to keep his past a secret seemed to be an issue. I love how Lucy pushed Gabe to talk to Izzy and share his past.
I've once again fallen in love with the characters in a Carly Phillips book. The Dare to Love series gets better and sexier with each book in the series. I am already counting down until I get more stories in the Dare to Love series.
How do you explain attraction to another individual whom you have met a few times and talked to even less? From the moment Gabriel met Isabelle (and vice versa) the attraction to each other has been palpable. One problem - Isabelle is Lance's girlfriend. When Isabelle finds out Lance is not who she thinks he is, she dumps the douche-bag ( well done!). Only one problem, she leaves the house without much money, no cell phone, no clothes or jewelry, and in a car Lance will not let her keep.
Carly Phillips has given us a memorable story of two individuals attracted to each other, and yet with conflicting purposes, that keeps them apart . He needs to be in full control; she needs to finally build her self esteem and declare her independence. Isabelle needs to prove to herself she is capable of taking care of herself and of choosing her own destiny. Gabe is seeking to nurture and care for her by exacting his need to control to ensure her well being.
The Invitation to Eden series continues to fascinate with love stories that are both erotic as well as a joy to read. This particular one had me reading it in one seating, totally forgetting my bedtime. Carly Phillips this is a masterpiece of erotic romance! Hope you readers enjoy it as much as I did!
The New York branch of the Dare family may consist of only three siblings but they are as charismatic as their cousins and just as physically appealing as well.
Gabriel and Isabelle's whirlwind romance is at once poignant as it is hotter than a summer night.
This book was a little to insta-love for me. While I enjoyed the story and the writing, I just couldn't feel the love between the characters. I loved that she was strong and wasn't going to put up with anything anymore! Steamy book for sure.
Meh... I am not really a fan of the Dom/Sub story lines, even though this one was pretty mild compared to some I've suffered through. Normally the moment some H starts bossing the h around, I'm all... STEP OFF, BUCKO!
And then the h goes along with it and I'm just like...
So yeah... I went into this one knowing I might hiss and spit a little. To be fair, Gabe was better than some I've read. And at least Iz had enough caljones to walk out on him.... for a while....
The Pros: - It was short.... - Iz really did exert her independence. She left him, though she spent the very brief chapter of her 'three months apart' pining and whining for him - Gabe actually was kind. (Despite his repeated attempts to convince Iz otherwise.) - Lance raised my hackles MUCH more than Gabe did.
The Cons: - It was short... Yeah, I know... I put this on the Pros list too. Since it was a topic I usually avoid like a whore in a church house, I was glad I didn't have to try to force myself through long drawn out BDSM scenes (I skimmed over these ones anyway, after the first one) where I would continually wish I could scream at the h to tell his @$$ to and wimpy, whiney "I don't know if he likes me" drama. UGH... That said, I think the story did have potential. Both Gabe and Iz have messed up pasts that could have used some more defining and deeper development. I think the author skimmed way too briefly over Gabe's need to dominate and control. (Listen buster, I will eat when I d@mn well want to and not because you are telling me to!) We got a lot more from Issy's side, though I would have liked to actually read about HOW she became so independent instead of her repeatedly whining that she missed Gabe for three lousy months. Not to mention her potential career and work with Gabe's obviously independent sister. - Eden - ummmm wait, WHAT? WHY is this even here? Other than to force her back into Gabe's control. Gaah...
So I gave this a 3 because it did have potential, the characters and basic story were okay (excepting the Eden randomness) and thank goodness it was short, but I doubt I'll read any more in this series...
Isabelle (Kitten, Izzy, Iz) Masters and Gabriel (Gabe) Dare may have chemistry, but they're initially otherwise taken. Even if it goes against his desires, I appreciate that he doesn't pursue Isabelle. I admire his confidence that her boyfriend, Lance Daltry, will, and does, mess things up.
She was taken, and all he could do was admire. Look and not touch. But if she ever became available, all bets were off. -- Gabe Dare
Gabe is a sneaky devil, and while I disagree with him completely stepping out of her life for a bit, I do love that Iz was able to find herself again and figure some things out on her own. I loved their story and didn't want it to end.
As for their chemistry, I love it when it just explodes! 🥵🔥🎉
One of the things I love most about any of the Dare books is that many of the family members make appearances and give the stories more depth, lightness, and humor, because no one can tease you quite the same way family can. This is predominantly about the NY Dares, but the Miami family does have a small cameo. 🩷
Thinking back to the first time I read this, I remember my excitement about Eden. We're offered a small peek, but it isn't nearly enough. I know there's more to come, which makes me so happy!
I read along with the audio book. The narrator, Sophie Eastlake, continues to deliver an easy to listen to experience with the emotions of the characters on display.
This is a book full of nothing. It's an empty story! No plot worth reading and nothing happened.
Gabe is a man who goes for what he wants and gets it. He reminds me of Fifty Shades of Grey. I've only seen the movie, but that's basically what this is. I'm sure it's a bit more clean than what Christian Grey is about😂 I wanted substance and I didn't get it. Very sad. I can't believe he tricked her into coming to the island! And then she was FINE WITH IT?? Unbelievable.
Isabelle is a dumb character. I really don't like her at all. She says one thing and does another. She was brainwashed by a guy who wanted...her money? Still iffy there. She seemed so smart and strong, but then she ends up living with another controlling man. WHY?? So ridiculous.
What I love is the endearment, kitten. It gives me goosebumps and all the feels. Obsidian is another book that has it, but mentions it too often. This book should have had more of it. I liked the different POV, but needed more from Gabe.
I really wanted to like this, but all that happened was Gabe wanting to be intimate with her and she didn't know what she wanted or needed. There were some scenes that I loved so much. That first scene when he was teaching her about you know. Ahem-chapter 7. And when they were on the island. But other than that, there really wasn't anything significant about this book. I might read Decklan's book and maybe their sister's because I think they're more real than Gabe.
So, rounding up on this one is probably stretching it…BUT, I did like the characters and Sophie Eastlake aka Julia Whalen did amazing narrating the book so I’m rounding up. Plus, Gabriel is the first guy in this series who was on the kinky side. So, even though the story was average at best and the relationship needed to be fleshed out a lot more…I’m being generous.
To start I am a Carly Philips fan and I have read the previous 2 Dare books in her series. I was a little iffy on this title as I have not read any of the other Eden books and I didn't really like Gabe in the previous book. Plus I am not a fan of love triangles and the character of Isabella is originally with another guy when she meets Gabe.
That all said, I read excerpts of Dare to Surrender and it sounded so good I decided I needed to read it as well. Let me tell you I rated it a 10 but if I could rate it a 100 I would. It was wonderful and there was not much of a love triangle either. It is also a very much stand alone book. In this story, Gabe's cousins are just mentioned they never even appear much. The Dare's in this story that appear are their cousins Lucy, Decklan, and of course Gabe and they all are really terrific.
This book is also done a little differently than other Carly Phillips books and its told in the first person. We see Gabe and Isabella/Izi's side but they each get their own chapter or chapters and I loved the little headings of the chapters.
Now here is the story and if you don't want to know don't read any further: When the book starts Isabella is with a jerk, Lance and calling him a jerk is being kind. Isabella see's some pictures on his computer of him being with her neighbor and having sex. She runs out of there in his car with some extra cash and nothing else. He is turn has her arrested for stealing his car. She is then arrested by Gabe's brother Decklan. Gabe is at the station to meet Decklan and runs into Isabella, who he has lusted after for quite awhile.
He finds out Isabella has left Lance and that she has nowhere and no one to go to and so he offers her a guest room. That is when you will fall in love with Gabe. Everything Isabella or as he calls her Izi needs, he gives it to her, even if that means she needs to stand on her own two feet.
The story is really about Izi finding herself and believing in herself when she has never believed in herself. Gabe also has issues and he needs to caretake for the people that are important to him. Gabe and Izi are perfect together and once Izi find herself it was really a beautiful thing to see.
The story was beautiful and romantic and I know its one I will be reading over and over again. Now I can't wait for the next Dare story (Olivia).
Oh how I am enjoying this slightly kinkier side of Carly Phillips!!
In this third novel of the Dare To Love series, Carly also needed to fold the book into a joint series "Welcome To Eden"; a collaboration of 27 authors with at the centre an exclusive island resort where fantasies come alive. And I say she was able to do so quite seamlessly!
Where the previous two books have circled around the same characters, this one moves to a different branch of the Dare clan, introducing us more intimately to the siblings, Gabe, Decklan and Lucy, with Gabe taking the lead in this story. It also does not centre around the ownership and management of a sports team, but a chain of hotels and clubs, which is the heritage of this particular group of "Dares".
Isabelle and Gabe have had a superficial acquaintance only, mostly through a business relationship Gabe had with Isabelle's ex, but there has always been a special connection that was more a feeling, a sensation or instinctual awareness, then it was a conscious realization.
Gabe in particular has bided his time, hoping for Isabelle to get shot of the man she was with. Not a choirboy in the meantime, he made sure never to mix emotions with physical release. Somehow with Isabelle he craved a different connection. Her instinctive responses to his subtle stimuli have the urge to control nearly overwhelming him. He realizes she will need to trust herself, before she can fully trust him.
Hungry from childhood on to simply be loved and cared for, Isabelle had long since realized that the man she thought would provide her with that security, was in fact stripping away the last vestiges of her self-esteem. Tempting as Gabe was, it was important for Isabelle to find her own feet, before she was ready and whole enough to be able to give herself into the type of deep involvement a relationship Gabe would require.
I would have loved to have seen more in terms of the relationship development, which was still all very quick. But the writing was, as usual, nice and tight, and deliciously descriptive.
✨Tempting, intuitive and erotically charged read! ✨
Dare to Surrender is part of the Invitation to Eden series and the Dare to Love series. This book can be read as a standalone. I must admit that I enjoyed this fabulous story and look forward to reading more in the series.
Opening Scene:
Prologue
Gabriel Dare eyed the beautiful woman with the bright smile that didn’t reach her eyes, hoping his bland expression concealed the intense emotions she roused inside him.
The Review:
Isabelle has had enough with the way her boyfriend treats her. His cheating is the last straw so she leaves him, taking nothing with her except her car. Being arrested for car theft makes her night so much worse, until Gabriel Dare enters the police station. Gabe has always wanted Isabelle. He wants to protect and care for her but he also wants her back to the confident woman he first met. When an opportunity comes along to take her to an exclusive Island, Gabe can’t resist. But will the secrets of their pasts prevent them from surrendering to their futures and happiness?
Notable Scene:
“You know, I thought it would it would take me longer to get you in cuffs.” A familiar masculine voice that oozed pure sin sounded behind me. It couldn’t be, I thought, but from the tingling in my body, I already knew it was. “Gabriel Dare, what brings you into this part of Mayberry?” He chuckled, a deeply erotic sound that matched his mention of the handcuffs, but he didn’t answer my question. Left with no choice, I tipped my head and looked into his self-possessed, dark blue eyes. Eyes too similar to my cop, and suddenly the last name registered. In an unfamiliar place and time, my mind on my arrest and nothing more, I hadn’t made the connection before.
FTC Advisory: Victory Editing through Net Galley provided me with a copy of Dare to Surrender by Carly Phillips. Published through Victory Editing. Kindle Edition. No goody bags, sponsorships, “material connections,” or bribes were exchanged for my review.
I am a huge fan of Carly's. I've read the other Dare books and I LOVED them. We met Gabe in Dare to Desire and I was very intrigued. He was broody and snarky and I love that in a man! He has a thing for Isabelle but she's taken. He decides to sit back and just wait for her. An accidental meeting in a police station, he finds her handcuffed and penniless. He sees an opportunity and he takes it. Gabe wants to own her and she's too independent for that but she can't deny the pull to this hot, sexy man. They end up at Eden, an island resort where anything can happen. Can Gabe convince her to give herself to him fully? Can Isabelle let go of control and submit to Gabe. You have to read it to find out! Do not miss this one. We also get to see Gabe's cousins from the other Dare books - I loved seeing what is going on with them. I can't to read more from Carly!
Gabe's very posture and demeanor set him apart from any other man I'd met. His white teeth, tanned skin, and chiseled features were put together in a way that made him extraordinarily handsome. That he owned the space and air around him merely added to his appeal.
"I can't change what or who came before you, but I can tell you that you're different. For me, to me. I don’t understand why, I just know. And if you give me the chance, I'll prove it."
It was like some unseen force telling me you were it. Not to let you go. And every time I saw you with him...I couldn't breathe."
"And make no mistake, Kitten, I always intend to give you what you need. A little bondage, some light punishment puts you back in the right headspace. That's it. It's all about you. It'll always be about you."
One of my top books for 2014 :-) I received this book as a prize in a FB release party.
I have been waiting anxiously for this book since I found out it was to be an Invitation To Eden release. This is cousin Gabe's book and I adored it. I fell in love with Gabe a little in D2D. He's rich and bored with life and lonesome. Then walks in Isabelle and he's no longer bored but intrigued. But she belongs to another so he must bide his time. Eventually her life explodes and he's there to help gritting his teeth to be patient and not overwhelm her. Awesomely played!!! His true love to help her heal and be her own woman was a "good thing".
Carly tells us in the intro to the book that it was started in a intensly emotional time in her life. You could tell she was VERY intune with deep emotions in this book. I believe it has made her a better writer. This book was her VERY BEST and I'm so glad it's on my Nook so I can read it any time I want. She gave the characters so much personal growth and development. Yes it was a quick time period in which it took place but I believed it all could happen. These people plumed the depths of who they were and what drove them. They wanted to help each other become mature loving people and they did. The courage each character exposed made this a fantastic story. Go read it, it's awesome!
This is my 5 star review for Dare to Surrender by Carly Phillips for Eskimo Princess Book Reviews.
Isabelle Masters is a beautiful young woman but she hasn't had the best of luck when it comes to life and love. She is strong and determined but it takes a good push for her to find herself. Will she be able find herself before it's too late? Will Gabriel Dare be the one person who breaks down her defenses?
Gabriel Dare is young, rich, and extremely sexy. He has a powerful business and works very hard to give those he loves an easy life. He hasn’t had the best of life experiences when it comes to woman and he isn’t really looking for love. Will Isabelle be the one to change his view on love or will she break him even further?
Oh my Goodness, I LOVED this book. I believe there were a couple times that my kindle was smoking! I loved the hot alpha side of Gabe. He really did know how to put his lady friend’s pleasure before his own. I thought Isabelle was a great leading lady. She really was an even match for Gabe. I really liked Lucy; she really did know how to push her plans through. The book was a short read for me and was easy to follow. I think the author done a great job telling Gabe and Izzy’s story.
If you are looking for a HOT summer read with a dirty talking Alpha male that likes to tie you up, then this one is for you!!
I am in love with this series! These Dare men know how to butter you up and then melt you. I’ve already read and reviewed the first 2 books and loved them both. So, when I got the opportunity to read and review this one, I knew I had to get it on my schedule ASAP. The characters and the story easily pulled me in from page one.
Isabelle and Gabriel are drawn to each other even before their available to be together but the refrain and go about their separate lives. Once Isabelle finally ditches her crappy ex-boyfriend, Gabriel swoops in. The chemistry between them is fast and intense. Gabriel is the billionaire alpha male who needs control and Isabelle is struggling to be independent and find herself. They complement each other so well. I easily became attached to these two (just like I did in the previous books).
This story line pulled me in from the very beginning. It flowed easily and I found myself devouring it in an afternoon. It has emotion, steamy scenes to get your blood boiling, and plenty of sweet romance as well. It’s the perfect combination for a romance novel and I truly enjoyed it. Fantastic addition to the Dare to Love series and I can’t wait for more. 5 out of 5 stars!!
