Camyrn has spent the past few years helping to rebuild her family’s magazine company, focusing on that rather than her disastrous personal life. But when Booth Harrison invites her to be the keynote speaker at a sales conference in Hawaii, she’s tempted to combine business with pleasure.

Very good book. It is the third book in the Boardrooms and Billionaires series but can easily be read as a standalone. Camryn is one of three sisters who banded together to rebuild the family magazine business. She is the company's CFO and eats, breathes, and sleeps everything financial for the company. She is supremely confident in herself when it comes to anything business-related, but it is a different story in her personal life. So she uses business to stay too busy for relationships.

Camryn's brother-in-law's half-brother, Booth, is the head of a successful financial newspaper. Wealthy, intelligent, and known for getting what he wants, Booth has been drawn to Camryn since he met her. Unfortunately for him, she shuts down every attempt to pursue her, claiming it would be "too messy" because of their family connections. Booth refuses to give up.

I enjoyed the development of Booth and Camryn's relationship. Though I haven't read the first two books in the series, it's clear that the attraction between them has been simmering for quite some time. Booth becomes more intrigued by Camryn every time he sees her. When one of his speakers bows out of an event in Hawaii, Booth asks Camryn to fill in, hoping that a change of location will help his cause. One of Booth's event staff, Sinclair (who reminded me of the guys from What Not to Wear), insists on assisting Camryn to prepare for the event in a hilarious scene involving the fashion samples closet at her magazine.

Booth is not the typical billionaire hero who pulls out all the stops to seduce the heroine. He has far too much respect for her and instead works to show her that respect. I loved their stop in San Francisco, where Booth included her in a business dinner he had scheduled. His enjoyment at seeing her wit and intelligence shine was real and made him want her even more. Meanwhile, Camryn sees that Booth isn't like most of the other men she knows, and her resistance to him begins to slip. An encounter with an old boyfriend emphasizes the difference between the two men.

Once they arrive in Hawaii, things begin to heat up. Booth's patience and perseverance start to chip away at the walls Camryn erected. There are some outstanding scenes of them together, where it's obvious that their attraction has grown into something more. But there is a snake in Paradise, in the form of Booth's father, West. He had unsuccessfully attempted to ruin the relationship between his son, Nathan, and Camryn's sister, Keira. Now he seems intent on doing the same to Booth and Camryn. Camryn stumbles onto something that looks like unethical, if not illegal, actions at Booth's paper. Unfortunately, her fears get in the way of her telling Booth of her suspicions, and it all blows up in her face.

Back in New York, heartbroken, Camryn faces the fact that she may have sabotaged herself. Booth is both hurt and furious at her actions, and it takes him a few days to calm down enough to check out her suspicions. I loved his response to his father and that he left right after it to go to Camryn. At the same time, Camryn knew she had to apologize to Booth. I loved how she recruited Sinclair to help her show Booth that she was ready to "get messy" with him. The ending was great, and the epilogue was a fantastic wrap-up to the series.

Ever just want a good old fashioned romance? Where two people meet and fall in love? Where the conflict really is how they can work together? How to not let the outside world disrupt what you are creating? Well look no more.. in book three of Addison Fox's Boardrooms and Billionaires Series we get all that.

Camryn McBride is the last sister standing.. both of her sisters have fallen into happily ever after and both want the same for Camryn. But for Camryn, the eternal accountant, the risks far outweigh the rewards and she has been holding back. A lifetime of men who were disparaging, insulting or just not there has convinced her that love just isn't worth it. So how does she handle this attraction she has for her brother-in-law's brother? Talk about messy.

Booth Harrison has spent his life stepping out of his overbearing, arrogant, old school father's shadow. But step out he has! While he still runs the family business and has made it flower.. he has his own interests.. and some of them are even fun. Booth has a certain reputation with the ladies but something about the ever so straitlaced Camryn McBride calls to him. In spite of the family connections and the trouble it could cause, Booth does what he does best. Goes after what he wants.

That could be the entire story right there.. but life is never that simple and Ms Fox gets that. In Camryn she has created a woman afraid to live outside the box.. afraid to risk anything so what does she do? She makes this story very messy. Just what Camryn needs.

Booth's father is an awful man.. one who has no problem fudging the truth a bit but no way would Booth ever expect less the ethical behavior from him. Spoiled little rich boy, sure but cheater.. never. So when some questionable business ethics start showing up on the books.. Camryn isn't sure just who is involved and who to trust. Should she go to Booth? Should she stay out of it? Should she... Camryn's problem is that Booth seems just too good to be true. He respects the woman she is. Understands her passion for her work and her love of family.. so of course Camryn has to question, what's in it for him? In a way being the good guy actually makes him a bigger target for Camryn's doubts.

This is a book about a relationship, with all it's foibles. A book where in the end you just have to trust in each other. To believe in the good and forgive the bad. To accept love offered and to take the chance and offer it in return. A nice read for someone who just needs a chance to believe..

Posted on What I'm Reading

Last night I finished The Billionaire's Demands by Addison Fox. This is the third book in Boardrooms and Billionaires books. In this particular series the focus was on three sisters. Now we are focusing our attention on the middle sister Camryn McBride.

Camryn is the CFO of McBride Media. She basically eats, sleeps, and breaths financial reports. So much so that she uses them as her shields against real relationships other than her sisters. Now Camryn gets a chance to be the keynote speaker at a sales conference Hawaii. Woo-Hoo.

Now Booth Harrison has sort of wanted to get with Camryn, but Camryn has use the convenient excuse that she doesn't want to make things awkward between their families. After all, Booth's half-brother is married to Camryn's sister. However, Booth is up to the challenge.

The first part of the story went a little too smoothly. However, we have to have a little bump in the road otherwise it would be dull. I happy to find the bump in Hawaii. Anyway, basically likes to keep guys at arms length, because she was hurt in the past by a guy who "loved" her. Of course she tried again and that didn't bode well either, so she turned to her safety and security to reports. Yep, like they are going to keep you warm at night. Somehow, Booth slowly started to chip away her wall. It takes a lot for her to slowly trust Booth and be willing to get a little dirty.

The Billionaire's Demands was pretty good and did get much better towards the end. I do like an emotional ending. Plus, I love how Camryn tried to show Booth that she was willing to take on the mess of life. So, if this something your looking for, give The Billionaire's Demands a try.

Favorite Quote:

This title was given as a ARC for me to read and review by Netgalley in return for an honest review.

Booth was the son who had to follow in his fathers footsteps working at the family media business. He loves his job but dealing with his father is another matter.

He's been building bridges with his half brother, the son that got away. They are stronger then ever right now and he couldn't be happier with there growing relationship. However he finds himself drawn to his brothers sister in-law.. One of three sisters Camryn is a buttoned up beauty who hides behind her job of facts and figures and he really wants to get to know the real woman behind the façade.

Camryn is attracted to her sisters brother in-law but she knows nothing good can come of a fling with the man. wouldn't that just make family functions really uncomfortable?! But when an opportunity as a key note speaker for Booth's company lands at her feet in a tropical paradise no less can she really turn him down?

Addison Fox had be from book 1 with these amazing sisters.. The Mcbride girls are witty, beautiful and super intelligent. They are the definition of girl power. They know what they want and go after it no matter the cost. But of course the road to love and romance is never smooth.

Booth and Camryn where a dynamic duo, their banter made for great reading. I loved the sexy perseverance of Booth, Camryn was a tough cookie but he worked hard to crack her and it was totally worth it!

Of Course these two are also dealing with really bad parental figures and multi million dollar companies. Everybody they love has changing roles of marriage and babies, they seem to want to fit in and adapt while finding there own happiness.

I love reading about sexy power house people who are super intelligent. A hot romance in a corporate world.. I can't wait to read more from this author.

If I'm being perfectly honest, I don't read a lot of romance - my experience of romance novels in the past have been that the actual stories are not that strong. With 2014 being a year of reading out of my "comfort zone", I decided to give the genre another try, and have found it to be a rewarding experience.

The Billionaire's Demands is the second romance I've read this year, and it was a surprisingly satisfying read. While it certainly followed the traditional romance trajectory - two beautiful people drawn unwillingly but inexorably toward passion and lifelong love - the novel doesn't just depend on a "formula" to tell it's story. The characters have real strengths and weaknesses, and their relationship felt like it made sense. The conflicts that arise are logical within the story, and the the main characters work through them by doing more than just jumping into bed. I am impressed with the author's storytelling and characterization skills, and found this novel to be extremely entertaining and satisfying.

If novels like this are the future of romance, count me in.

The Billionaire's Demand was a great read. I really enjoyed how Addison Fox wrote the story. This was a book I had a hard time putting down. I love the chemistry you see with Camryn and Booth right from the begin.

I love Camyrn character as sure as she is about her job she still has the doubt we all have. This made her a very relatable character. Booth was great too! I love how knows what he wants and goes after it.

I have not read the first two books in the series but I look forward too.

I loved how Camryn was crazy competent and how Booth pursued her. I thought they complimented each other well. However, was a little slow to pick up for me until about halfway in.

Fabulous story!

I loved this addition to the series. Booth is a new favorite leading man. He pursued Camryn relentlessly, not overly pushy, but not giving up. I enjoyed their chemistry and their flirtatious. The ending and epilogue brought a tear to my eye, but made me a little sad it was over. You kinda want to have a glimpse into their future lives.

This was an awesome way to finish the series! I loved the characters of Camyrn and Booth. The ups and downs to get them to their happily ever after we’re well worth it and the conclusion of it all was awesome!

My review cross-posted from Wit and Sin: http://witandsin.blogspot.com/2014/02...

A reserved CFO meets her match in a sexy alpha businessman in The Billionaire’s Demands . Sparks fly in this fast-paced final installment of Addison Fox’s Boardrooms & Billionaires trilogy.

I absolutely adored Camryn; she’s intelligent, quick-witted, and confident when it comes to her business persona. She knows numbers and is incredibly good with people when she’s in the mold she has made for herself. However, Camryn is not always as sure of herself when it comes to breaking free of the defined role she’s set for herself, and this hint of vulnerability made me love her. Booth draws Camryn out her shell, which is one of the many reasons I liked him. He’s a devastatingly sexy hero who’s persistent when it comes to getting what he wants, but Ms. Fox never makes him pushy. He and Camryn make an excellent couple in every way and I loved seeing their relationship develop over the course of The Billionaire’s Demands . The road to happily ever after isn’t an easy one for them. Booth’s father – who already tried to throw a wrench in the relationship between Camryn’s sister, Keira, and Booth’s half-brother, Nathan – does his level best to wreak havoc on his son and heir’s love life. But villainous outsiders aren’t the only obstacle in Camryn and Booth’s path. Camryn has ghosts in her past which have to be laid to rest before she can give her heart to Booth. Ms. Fox makes their journey worth any heartache it and I finished The Billionaire’s Demands a well-satisfied reader.

The Billionaire’s Demands is the third Boardrooms & Billionaires story, but it can easily be read as a standalone. That being said, the scenes with Camryn and her sisters will definitely make you want to read Tempting Acquisitions and Merger to Marriage. I loved watching the three of them together and by the time I finished The Billionaire’s Demands I wanted to read the entire trilogy straight through. Love a classic-style romance that feels modern? Then pick up The Billionaire’s Demands !

Arc given by netgalley for an honest review
I fell in love with the character ever since their debut in book one. Both elected as matchmaker or conflict undone for their siblings/half siblings. Booth is a driven man, with the world of burden on his shoulders as he is his father (big meanie) heir. Camryn is the eldest of Mcbride sister, the responsible one of the three thar whole the rock since their mother cancer diagnosis to her passing. She never let herself over emotional and everything must always under her control. Booth persence however rock her control freak persona. He is a temptation she must never indulge. Booth's father on the other hand tried his best to keep them apart. Will their budding romance survived the conflict? or break apart as a family secret revealed itself?
My opinion on the character, even though I love Camryn in the 1st book but not on this one. I understand her control needs but she is a women with mixed messages. i don't understand half the time but thank god Booth can. Love Booth in the 1st book and this one, give him a high five for a marvellous guy that he is. As for the plot, Camryn could be more hardcore when comes to dealing with Booth's father method undermining her in business. I mean she takes her family business seriously more than Booth (at one time) but when her reaction just someone who lost a disposable pen. Really?? I think her character need to be more develop to be like. A good plot just need to have a good tweeking here and there. Overall a good book to end a family saga.
I want to give 3.5 stars but round up to 4 stars, just coz I love Booth and Camryn sisters (Nathan too, Boooth's half bro) made a cameo in this book. Good job

The Billionaire's Demands is a nicely written story about finding love in the competitive business world. It's actually the 3rd book in the series but could be read as stand-alone. I haven't read the first two books but I would love to in the next few days. The author did an amazing job with this one, that it was evident in how she crafted the plot, thorough and precise, that I can't help but be captivated with her writing from start to finish. The story flowed effortlessly, with solid characters and witty dialogues that kept me glued to my seat. As much as I wanted go finish reading it in one sitting, I couldn't because I have a job to attend to. But it's truly an enjoyable read the fact that I liked Camryn. She's a smart and confident woman who hides in her black corporate suits. A character so full of layers that it was only through the charm and unyielding persistence of the sexy and hottie media-mogul Booth Harrison, that Camryn slowly turned off her defenses. The fact that our main characters didn't jump towards each other and caved in to their lustful thoughts, made me like this story more. The author established their characters well first, and slowly build-up the sexual tension between them, though sometimes it did annoy me but it was okay. I loved the anticipation, the sensual chemistry that sparked between Booth & Camryn.

All in all, this is an enjoyable read.

I liked it.

*wipes brow* Is it hot in here? Is it hot in Hawaii? Because I’m burning up! I’m not kidding, you guys. This book was fantastic. I haven’t read the first two books in the series and I didn’t even felt the need to read them as this book pretty much stands alone.
I loved the characters. You all know by now that I go mad for a kick-ass heroine who doesn’t take crap from men. Well, Camryn is all that and more. When you add in the fact that she and her sisters basically rescued a company that was dying and turned it into something that their hard-assed ended up being proud of. She’s the company CFO and lands some pretty heavy deals.
Booth, well he embodies sex in everything that he does. He’s hot, he doesn’t like taking no for an answer and he’s all business like. But when he sets his eyes on Camryn, he struggles to take them off of her again. And really who could blame him? She is one amazing woman.
There were a few moments when I really doubted Booth. I mean, I was living and breathing like Camryn and she really believed the worst of him, but when it all came together and we finally got that happy ending, it made all the doubts worthwhile.
The story was well plotted and excellently written. I’ll definitely be adding more of Addison Fox’s books to my TBR pile.

The McBride ladies are a force to be reckoned with in the boardroom and the bedroom and having read Keira and Mayson's books, I looked forward to seeing how Camryn's romance would unfold. Based on the title, it wasn’t what I was expecting. Yes our hero is a billionaire, but I would exactly call him demanding but more determined.

I liked Camryn, but I didn't warm to her as I did her sisters until later in on in the book. Intelligent, dedicated and hardworking, she hides herself behind her plain professional clothing and is all work and very little play. Her relationship with her sisters is fabulous, but her insistence at keeping Booth Harrison at arm’s length became a little frustrating. Booth is quite simply a gent. Nathan's half-brother is wealthy, thoughtful, driven and persistent. And it was this relentless yet gentle persistence which made him completely loveable.

Their chemistry simmered as opposed to sizzled but when they did take the leap, that was when the bar was raised on the whole story. But in comparison to the previous books, I found it a steadier read. I would have liked a little more steamy action, but it doesn't detract from a well-written easy-reading finale to the series with an epilogue that finished it off nicely.

I received a copy of this as an ARC courtesy of Entangled Publishing for an honest and unbiased opinion.

This was the 3rd book in the Boardrooms and Billionaires series. I had read the previous books so I was happy to receive an ARC from Entangled in exchange for an honest review. I really liked this book but my personal favorite is #2 Merger to Marriage. It was nice to finally get Camryn's story. She's been the level headed workaholic thru both of her sisters book. Always acting and dressing conservatively. It was nice to finally get the story as to why.

Booth, brother to Nathan (Keira's husband from book 1), has been trying to get Camryn to give him a chance for some time now. He's tried over and over to prove he's not the type of person she thinks he is. He sees an opportunity to spend some quality time with her by having her as a keynote speaker at him & his father's company sales conference. Will he finally wear her down?

Although I liked this book, it seemed to me that the last 3/4 of it held the most interesting part of the story. Would that keep me from reading it again? No, but I know to be more patient next time. It's a really good series (especially book 2!), and I plan on trying out the Alaskan Nights series next.

This was a great read and I really enjoyed it. This is the 3rd book in the series but it stands alone just fine (I have not read the previous two but I enjoyed this one so much I will likely go back and rectify that). This is the story of Booth Harrison and Camyrn McBride. They have excellent chemistry and I’m looking forward to reading the previous books to see if it’s there too. They have been brought together by their family (her sister is married to his half brother) and their positions in the media empires owned by their families. I found this book to be quite the page turner. Like I said the chemistry between these two is great but I also really enjoyed how they communicated and how their ability to communicate grew as they got to know each other on a deeper level. There was conflict as is expected and interference from family members (good and bad). I really enjoyed this story and will be looking for more from this author. I received an ARC of this book from the publisher through Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

The Billionaire's Demands was an interesting mix of romance and business maneuverings. Booth and Camryn both work in the publishing world with some very well respected magazines. When he asks her to be the keynote speaker at his company's annual retreat he has two motives. One, she's a great speaker. Two, he wants to spend some more time with the woman he has been crushing on for months

Right when they think they have really hit it off (in Hawaii of course), Camryn uncovers something fishy and she's not sure what to do about it. This drives a wedge between them that may not come back out. This was a great story - the conflict could have been built up a little more though. I think Camryn was an amazing character - Addison Fox seemed to nail the "business woman with something to prove in a male world" perfectly.

I really love a good trilogy and this has been so worth the read. As with all trilogies the author always saves the best for last. Camryn allows her work to rule her life all in to be safe from being hurt. She has experienced her fair share of it and refuses to allow it to find her again. Booth has been trying for a year to get Camryn to allow him a chance. When opportunity presents itself he takes full advantage. No matter how hard she tries she loses the battle with Booth and gives in to have things fall apart. These two have found love and fate is not going to allow them to let others destroy what they can have. I love the characters, the descriptive way the author has about pulling you into their stories and dare I say Sinclair was one of the most amusing characters of all. This was very well written and makes me want more from this author. I can't wait to see what she comes up with in the future.

This is the third book in Addison Fox's Boardrooms and Billionaires Series. You can read this book as a stand alone and it is not necessary to read the other two prior books. I do however recommend that at some point that you read the other books if you get the chance.

Camryn McBride is the last of her two other sisters that has not gotten married yet and runs her family's media company. Booth Harrison a media guru who runs his family's business. Funny they are both in the same business! Booth's half brother is married to Camryn's sister. Booth is trying to get a merger with Camryn's company and on top of that he wants a horizonal/vertical merger with Camryn. Booth has for awhile had his eyes on Camryn.

The book is cute and has some quirky moments but for the most part it is a very enjoyable read.

Entertaining, sexy and HOT! Those words describe how I found this new installment from Addison Fox. Camryn, the last of the McBride sisters has her turn at romance. The Boardrooms and Billionaires Series has told us the stories of Keira and Mayson as they found love in the face of adversity.

Camryn is both attracted and tempted by Booth Harrison, her brother-in-law's half-brother. She is scared of opening her heart to any kind of relationship that can turn messy. She has been burned before and would rather be lonely than deal with more heartache.

This is a story of relentless seduction and pursuit. Booth will not be deterred. He has had his eye on Camryn for quite a while now. He is a patient man but the time has come to close the deal.

Love the writing style, the characters and the flirty plot line. Finished it in one sitting with a smile on my face!

The Billionaire's Demands was a very enjoyable read.

This is the 3rd book in the series, it can be read as a stand alone. I've not read the previous books but after reading The Billionaire's Demands I will be reading them as I enjoyed Addison Fox's writing and her characters a lot.

This is the story of Booth Harrison and Camryn McBride.

Camryn has spent the past few years helping to rebuild her family’s magazine company, focusing on that rather than her disastrous personal life. But when Booth Harrison invites her to be the keynote speaker at a sales conference in Hawaii, she’s tempted to combine business with pleasure.

I loved seeing Camryn and Booth come together, they have amazing chemistry, my heart was very happy with their love story :)

All Camryn McBride has known for the past few years is work. After being badly burned in a relationship, she dove into helping her sisters rebuild their business. Through the course of this business, her sisters have met their soul mates. Sparks fly whenever Camryn and the half brother of one of these men, Booth Harrison, breathe the same air. The sparks turn to fire when Camryn has to fill in as a speaker at Booth’s magazine’s conference. Add in some allegations of unethical behavior at the magazine that come to light through Camryn and you have an outstanding end to this series. At the time of this review, I have not read the previous two books in the series and it did not affect my ability to understand this book. Both are on my To Be Read pile.

Camryn McBride is a savvy business woman. She is the CFO of McBride Publications. Numbers and spreadsheets are her life. She has been hurt before. She doesn't want to take a chance on love. Booth Harrison is determined to change that. He is the leader of the Financial Journal and a strong opponent. Their attraction is powerful but there are family and business complications. Will these two beat the odds? Addison Fox gives us a entertaining and sensual story. Camryn and Booth are such a passionate couple. They share a special emotional bond. Meddling relatives make their romance a roller coaster ride. I enjoy that we have familiar characters from the earlier Boardrooms and Billionaires series. It's nice to see them again. The author skillfully fills this story with humor, romance and drama. I couldn't put this book down. I wanted my HEA.

Oh Booth you're just something else, "it's not all that different." He resumed that delightful stroking over her hand with his index finger. "We try it. If it doesn't work you, we end it. No harm, no foul." Cam she's a little spitfire, and gets tongue tied at times, "we're on a business outing. You can do the other -" she broke off, not sure of the right words. "You can do the other stuff when we get back home." But in bed the girl is a damn tiger, "a light trail of hair fascinated her as she moved lower before being met with the full evidence of his arousal through the silky material of his briefs. "We'll need to remove these." I liked reading this book.

This is the third book in a series but it was strong and stood alone quite well. I plan on seeking out the others as i certainly enjoyed this one. The male female workplace dynamics were well portrayed, the dialogue was witty and certainly fit the characters and situations. The pacing was a bit uneven, sort of a slow starter for me, but the finish was oh so satisfactory. The characters, both primary and secondary were interesting and engaging, and the story itself was well plotted and the happily ever after quite well played.

Very good book. I got this on the book bub deal and loved it. It's book three so I need to go but the others. Main character is cameryn is the CFO for her family company. She has been avoiding Booth her sisters new brother in law. Booth keeps trying and won't give up. He uses her as the keynote speaker for his family business company event in Hawaii. They both fall fast and hard. Until his dad does some bad stuff and causes problems between them. Both have to get over it in order to have a future they both want. Very good

I so wanted to like this book because the description of the story held so much promise but the execution of the story was lacking for me. I forced myself to stick with it till 27% and I just couldn't read anymore. characters felt flat and the dialogue felt forced. At no point did I feel any emotion toward either character besides annoyance. Glad I got this for free.

Camry and booth made an interesting couple because A) Booth’s half-brother is married to Camryn’s sister and b) Neither one could stop thinking about the other no matter how hard they tied. Everybody was likeable and both sides of the family tree and you wanted Camryn and Booth to actually get together despite the family complications. A definite good read you’ll enjoy.

The Billionaire's Demands was a really great book! Although it is book 3 in the series, it can absolutely be read as a stand alone. I love it when you can feel the tension and chemistry between the couple and it definitely showed in this book! LOVED it!

I really enjoyed this book. I like how Booth tries to get Cam out of her comfort zone and show her there is some spice to life. And the lust that each character has for each other makes this book have steam. I would recommend this fun read.
