This was one of my favorite books a while ago; I bought the book on tape and must have listened to the whole book about twenty times! It's about the organizer, Claudia, and the money-bags, Jamie, who decide to run away from home and live in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. They spend their days roaming around, looking at art, and their nights, studying a small statue, called Angel, with a mystery surrounding the sculptor. Their discoveries lead them the eccentric Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, and her challenge to find the artist in her files.
